Q: Who has offended me in my past loving relationships?

Q: How do you feel our relationship has helped us grow closer in our relationship with God?

Q: How do I feel when I do not get time to share the thoughts of my heart with you all day?

Q: How do I feel when you honor me? (This can be through glances, affirming words, smiling, a pat on the cheek, etc.)

Q: How do I feel when I am upset and you will not listen or even try to understand in love?

Q: How do I feel suffering in our relationship has led us to greater life?

Q: How do I feel in my heart when I am divided with you?

Q: How do I feel we can grow closer in our relationship by seeing ourselves as children in the Father's family?

Q: What helps me feel connected to you?

Q: How has praying together helped our oneness?

Here are the Mysteries of Light.

Mysteries of Light

             Luke 3: 21-22

Now it happened that when all the people had been baptised and while Jesus after his own baptism was at prayer, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in a physical form, like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son; today have I fathered you.’

Christ is the New Adam.

    Baptism of Jesus

                    1.  We must always focus our gaze on
                                Christ.

                    2.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression.

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    3.

The Christian life, then, is rooted in the great event of the Incarnation. We must, consequently, always focus our gaze upon Christ, realizing that everything the Father wishes to tell us has been summed up in the life of Jesus of Nazareth. It only remains for us, then, to fathom ever more deeply the inexhaustible truth of the Word Incarnate: "In times past, God spoke in fragmentary and varied ways to our fathers through the prophets; in this, the final age, he has spoken to us through his Son, whom he has made heir of all things and through whom he first created the universe" (Heb 1:1-2).

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    4.

Christ came, then, for a double purpose, or rather for a single purpose that has two facets. He was radically to release us from the dominion of sin and elevate us to a new level of existence. This life that Christ has given us is not a type of superstructure that is erected atop man's human existence. Although nature and grace are distinct, they do not lie side by side as separate entities; rather, grace permeates nature. The Christian is one graced person. In his entirety he has been raised up, caught up, into a deeper form of life in Christ Jesus. Nothing that is authentically human has been excluded from this new existence. Whatever is really human in the life of the Christian is meant to be an expression of the Christ-life.

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    5.

Christ has come, then, not to destroy anything that is authentically human, but to perfect it by leading it to a graced fulfillment. This is the meaning of the Incarnation. The more God-like we become through Christ, the more human we become.

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    6.

As Christians, then, we live in Christ. We have been incorporated into his life, into the mystery of Christ. The mystery of Christ is the Christ event, that is, all the happenings or events of Christ's life, death, and resurrection. We may speak, consequently, not only of the total, unified mystery of Christ, but also of the individual events or mysteries. Christ's mysteries of death and resurrection are central and, in some way, they contain all the other mysteries; but these other mysteries or events also have their own importance.

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    7.

By reliving and reincarnating the mysteries of Christ, we are not only accomplishing our own redemption, but assisting in the continued application of Christ's redemption to all mankind. The Incarnation continues for all time. Christ, of course, is the one who fundamentally continues the Incarnation; but he enlists our help. The world no longer sees Jesus, no longer is able to reach out and touch him. We are the ones who now, in some way, make Christ visible and tangible. In union with the invisible, glorified Christ, and depending upon him as our source of strength, we continue the Incarnation in its visible and temporal dimensions. The fact that, at times, we do this poorly because of our human weakness and sinfulness does not change the great privilege and responsibility that is ours: we do, in fact, help continue the Incarnation. We are the Body of Christ. We must strive ever more perfectly to reincarnate the mystery and mysteries of Christ.

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    8.

The Christian is initiated into the mystery of Christ, into his or her role of prolonging the Incarnation, through baptism. In the words of St. Paul: "Are you not aware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Through baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live a new life" (Rm 6:3-5).

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                    9.

It is not sufficient, however, that we be incorporated into Christ and his mysteries through baptism. All forms of life require nourishment; so too, our life in Christ must be continually nourished; we must continually keep in contact with Christ and his mysteries. How can we continually encounter Christ? There are various ways. We contact Christ in a special manner through the liturgy—above all, in the Eucharistic liturgy. Here the entire course of salvation history, as centered in Jesus, is sacramentally renewed and continued. Through this Eucharistic encounter we become more deeply incorporated into Christ and his mysteries.

The reading of Scripture provides another special opportunity for encounter with Jesus...

...There is yet another way in which we encounter the mysteries of Christ; we make renewed contact with Jesus and his mysteries as these are present within ourselves and others. The mysteries of Christ that are to be relived by us are structured into our life of grace.

excerpt from Response to God's Love, Chapter 1, by Fr. Edward Carter

                  10.

Yes, God so loved the world
that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him may not
                                                       die
                                                but may have eternal life.

Jn 3:16.

Our new life in Christ has arisen out of God's fathomless love, and, what is more, its entire dynamism breathes love. The Incarnate Word himself has taught us this. On our behalf, Christ, as man, has perfectly opened himself to the Father's love; he has then responded to the Father in love. In relation to men, Jesus has loved completely from the depths of his being, pouring himself out in a life of selfless service, a self-giving that drew from him life's breath itself so that he could say he loved—without reserve and to the end. Thus forever was etched upon the pages of man's history—indelibly and so deeply—the love of Jesus for mankind. In this very greatness and depth of Christ's love for us, he was also opening himself to our love, for he can enter the human heart only if there is a response of love that encounters his own. Consequently, Jesus is the sacrament—the visible sign—of the great dimensions of Christian love. Christians are the persons who receive God's love and respond with their own love; Christians also love their fellow human beings as themselves and, in turn, open themselves to receive others' love.

Excerpt from Tell My People

Jesus Has Come to Give Us Life

Jesus: "This is the day celebrating My Resurrection (Easter). The day of newness of life. I am Lord and Master. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Tell My people to come to Me if they wish to experience life in abundance. I want to give all an ever greater share in the life of My Resurrection. Without Me you cannot be happy, nor have peace, nor have real joy. Tell My people to surrender to Me more and more. The more they do so, the more they will experience My love, wisdom, power, peace, joy, happiness, mercy, and goodness. Within My Heart My people will find these riches. I am Lord and Master! Please listen to My words."

Reflection: Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus has come to give us life, and to give us this life in abundance.

When we were baptized, we were incorporated into Christ and His Church. When we were baptized, we received the life of sanctifying grace. This life is a created sharing in the life of the Trinity. Truly, we are called to live a God-like existence according to the teaching and example of Jesus! It is our duty and our privilege to develop our life of grace--our Christ-life--through our participation in the Mass, through the reception of the sacraments, through prayer, and through all other good works. Indeed, we are called to love God and neighbor more and more.

What a glorious life has been given to us! In a spirit of thanksgiving, and together with Mary our Mother, let us always strive to know Christ more intimately, to love Him more ardently, and to follow Him more closely, so that He will always bring us to a closer union with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit.

                    Marriage at Cana

                    1.  John 2: 1-11

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’

This was the first of Jesus’ signs: it was at Cana in Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

    2.  Jesus worked many miracles.

                    3.  Acts 4: 8-12

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, addressed them, ‘Rulers of the people, and elders! If you are questioning us today about an act of kindness to a cripple and asking us how he was healed, you must know, all of you, and the whole people of Israel, that it is by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, and God raised from the dead, by this name and by no other that this man stands before you cured. This is the stone which you, the builders, rejected but which has become the cornerstone. Only in him is there salvation; for of all the names in the world given to men, this is the only one by which we can be saved.’

                    4.  John 9: 13-17

They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. It had been a Sabbath day when Jesus made the paste and opened the man’s eyes, so when the Pharisees asked him how he had gained his sight, he said, ‘He put a paste on my eyes, and I washed, and I can see.’ Then some of the Pharisees said, ‘That man cannot be from God: he does not keep the Sabbath.’ Others said, ‘How can a sinner produce signs like this?’ And there was division among them. So they spoke to the blind man again, ‘What have you to say about him yourself, now that he has opened your eyes?’ The man answered, ‘He is a prophet.’

                    5.  Acts 19: 11-12

So remarkable were the miracles worked by God at Paul’s hands that handkerchiefs or aprons which had touched him were taken to the sick, and they were cured of their illnesses, and the evil spirits came out of them.

    6. Colossians 3: 1-4

Since you have been raised up to be with Christ, you must look for the things that are above, where Christ is, sitting at God’s right hand. Let your thoughts be on things above, not on the things that are on the earth, because you have died, and now the life you have is hidden with Christ in God. But when Christ is revealed—and he is your life—you, too, will be revealed with him in glory.

                    7. Hebrews 2: 4

God himself confirmed their witness with signs and marvels and miracles of all kinds, and by distributing the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the various ways he wills.

                    8.  The priest today has the power
in the Mass to change bread and
wine into the Body and Blood
                            of Jesus.

                    9.

                  10.  Hebrews 3: 7-11

That is why, as the Holy Spirit says:

If only you would listen to him today!
    Do not harden your hearts,
        as at the rebellion,
as at the time of testing in the desert,
    when your ancestors challenged me,
and put me to the test,
and saw what I could do
    for forty years.

    That was why

    that generation sickened me
and I said, ‘Always fickle hearts,
    that cannot grasp my ways!’
And then in my anger I swore
that they would never enter my place of rest.

                    Kingdom of God

                    1.

"After the time of the purification is completed, this new era of the Church and the world will become firmly established. This era will be characterized by the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. All those who consecrate themselves to My Heart and to My Mother's Heart will help to establish this glorious new age. I am Lord and Master. Please listen to My urgent request. Within Our Hearts you will experience the love and security, the peace and the joy, which you all desire. I love My people with a tremendous love, and in My love I give them this message!"

excerpt from Tell My People, given to Fr. Carter

                    2.

Jesus: "My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

-Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., the Spiritual Director, as given on July 31, 1994, feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits).

excerpt from Tell My People, given to Fr. Carter

                    3.

Jesus: "My beloved companion, remind My people of their responsibility toward the world. They have a duty to try to make this a better world for all to live in.

"Today there is much which is wrong with the world. Sin covers the face of the earth. Sins of all kinds blemish the goodness of My Father's creation.

"However, My Mother and I are increasingly gathering our forces for the battle against Satan and his followers. We are more and more forming Our followers to wage the battle to win back that part of the world dominated by Satan's influence. We are forming our followers in the ways of love. We are forming Our followers with the grace which flows from the bosom of My Father, through My Heart, given in the Holy Spirit, and distributed through the intercession of the maternal and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

"We are forming Our followers to give themselves in the greatest love for God and neighbor. We are bringing them ever more closely to Our Hearts so that they may draw from the flames of love of My Heart and Mary's Heart! The more My followers dwell in Mary's Heart and My Heart, the more they are enlightened and strengthened to give themselves for the salvation of the world.

"I am Lord and Master. I ask all to follow Me and My Mother to help us bring forth the great age of love and peace for the world. This age will emerge after the phase of purification has been completed. This age will be characterized by the triumph of Mary's immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. In this great new age, soon to come, My people will love and praise My Father, with Mary and through Me and in the Holy Spirit, as never before!

"I love My people with a tremendous, burning love, and in this love I give them this message!"

excerpt from Tell My People, given to Fr. Carter

                    4.

Jesus: "My beloved priest-companion, I have given you this book of messages for the spiritual instruction of My people. I have put before My people the path I wish them to follow. The messages I and My Mother have given all converge upon devotion to Our Hearts, and, in particular, upon consecration to Our Hearts. Ideally, devotion to Our Hearts culminates in the act of consecration to My Heart and My Mother's Heart. Living out this consecration day by day leads to the highest sanctity.

"My people who make and live out the consecration to Our Hearts are helping to bring about the great new era of peace which the Church and the world will experience after the period of purification has been completed. This period of splendorous peace will be characterized by the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart!"

                    5.   Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

  1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
  2. For the Pope.
  3. For all bishops of the world.
  4. For all priests.
  5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
  6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.

                    6.  July 31, 1994 message given to Fr. Carter

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

                    7.  October 13, 1994 - The Birth of the Full Ministries of the Shepherds of Christ

"I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

                    8.

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people how much I long to draw all of them to My Mother's Heart and to My Heart! I do this to the extent they allow Me to do so. The more My people come to Our Hearts, the more I empower them to love God and neighbor.

"I desire that all within the human family be united through deep bonds of love. Many refuse to enter into this union of love with their neighbor. That is why there is so much hatred and division in today's world between nations, within nations, within families, between individuals.

"There are, however, many of My people who, because of their growing union with Me, are increasing their capacity to love each other. There is being developed a strong core who are helping to spread love around the world. As these people dwell in Mary's Heart and My Heart, they are helping to bring about the great new era of the renewed Church and world. When the purification of Church and world is completed, this great era of peace and love, predicted by My Mother at Fatima, will be characterized by the triumph of her Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart, and love will pervade the earth as never before.

"I am Lord and Master. Listen to these words I am giving to you. Live these words! As you dwell in Mary's Heart and My Heart, love one another with the deepest love! I love My people with a tremendous love, and in this love I give them this message."

                    9.  January 31, 1994   5:00 a.m. - I Love You, Child--Know This

Jesus: I am the Good Shepherd. I know Mine and they follow Me. I am truly there directing you. The littlest detail in your life is tended to by Me. You do not have to worry for one thing. I will take care of you. Let go and surrender to Him Whose love for you surpasses all your desires on this earth. It is in spiritual bankruptcy. You will feel a new closeness and intense love with Me.

I am Jesus, your God. I care for you like a doting mother. I never leave your side. I watch you, I wait for you, I am the most tender of hearts. Bring your cares to Me and I will tuck you into My Sacred Heart. You will be made whole in Me. My Blood I drip on you and you are cleansed by My Blood. You are engulfed in a sea of love. This is true love, come down from The Father and with the Holy Spirit. You know Mary was with you all day yesterday. She is always with Me and I am with You. She loves you so much!

Do not worry for any details. See the big picture. See your plan unfold at My hand. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God. Child, I have all the power. Why stand you idle with such a load? Drop your cares at the foot of My cross and rise into the sky. I am there with you. You must listen to how much I love you. I love you. I love you. I loved you to My death. I love you. See Me bloodied and bruised, with My arms outstretched in surrender for love of you.

I love you, child. Know this: I am so full of love for you. Come to Me and get your love. Do not wander a barren desert. You will not find what you are looking for. No love on this earth is even a crumb compared to My love for you and I am waiting as an ardent lover for you at every minute. You are so lucky to have God love you this way.

Focus on Me and Me alone. When your mind begins to focus on a problem, come to Me and crawl inside My heart. You have Me right by your side. Do you know this, child? Turn everything over to Me and proceed full steam ahead. Your life is as it is. Accept it from Me. Any trials you have are to make you stronger. Your life is just right to strengthen your love for Me. Nothing is happening by accident. Accept everything from the God who loves you and pray for strength. If Satan is taunting you, send him away. When your peace is starting to go, know Satan is in it. He uses those closest to you to taunt you.

Pray constantly for those who are around you and bowed down. Pray for those in restaurants and on the street. Pray for your loved ones in darkness. Your job is not to get frustrated and up tight, but to lift up the troubled one to Me. You will soar in My love. Your peace will abound and you will be made whole in My arms. You seek Me, child. Seek and you will find. Focus on Me always and never on your problems. Be engulfed in My love. I love you.

Your ardent lover, Jesus.

                              10.  February 1, 1994  4:10 a.m. - Only Jesus Can Warm You

Jesus: I want to tell you more about My love. As I walked the road to Calvary, as I suffered, My thoughts were for love of you. My Father allowed Me to suffer such anguish for this love of you. What love, My child? Do you know a little of this love or do I need to tell you more? You cannot in your earthly mind ever understand, even a little, My intense love.

Now you, in all your longings for love, only need the love of Jesus to warm you. My heart is ablaze for this love of you. Flutters and warmth in your heart are nothing compared to the intensity of My heart burning intensely for love of you. A furnace? Yes, more intense than the hottest fire, brighter than any eye can even see, My heart burns with an ardent fire. The love you feel in your chest is burning for love of Me. You do not even know how you are growing in your heart from loving Me. I am He Who sets your heart on fire. Your love is indeed intense because I loved you first.

With the heart burning deep within your breast, you will love this world for Me. I fill you with My ardent, burning love and what flows from you to others is that flutter you feel in your chest for love of Me. I am here with you, little one. Your love for others grows deep within you because I am the source of your love. To know Me is to love. I am the fire that lights the hardened heart, a heart turned to ice.

Hearts are, oh, so different! Hearts express the emotions within. The more you are fixed in Me and My ways, the more your heart burns with My love. Your pain of longing for Me on Christmas was such an intense pain because it hurt to be separated from Me. You feel this pain deep in your heart because of such longing for Me.

As you experience Me more, your heart expresses your feelings in your chest. My heart is on fire for love of all My beautiful children. I loved you to My death. I could have, at any moment, not continued or completed such an act of perfect love but, for the great love of you and obedience to My Father, I died a brutal death on a cross.

Meditate on this. Think of My anguish, My torture, so great compared to your little crosses! Will you not carry My cross awhile for Me? Will you say "yes" when I come to you dripping with blood and ask, "Will you suffer for love of Me?" I suffered a brutal death for love of you. It is in suffering and pain and anguish that you are drawn close to My precious heart.

Accept all that will befall you now as I send these trials out of great love. It is in your trials that you are taught My mighty lessons. I am giving you strength in this trial. Know I love you with the most ardent heart on fire for love of you and you alone. Feel Me as your personal lover. I can be this way with each child. I am God. I am all powerful. I am mighty and I have chosen you, My little one. The fires will not engulf you because My love will be your shield.

Alleluia. I am God. I have all the power.

                    Transfiguration

                    1.    Matthew 17: 1

Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

                    2.    Matthew 17: 2

There in their presence he was transfigured: his face shone like the sun and his clothes became as dazzling as light.

                    3.    Matthew 17: 3

And suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared to them; they were talking with him.

                    4.    Matthew 17: 4

Then Peter spoke to Jesus. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘it is wonderful for us to be here; if you want me to, I will make three shelters here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’

                    5.    Matthew 17: 5

He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud covered them with shadow, and suddenly from the cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.’

                    6.  Matthew 17: 6

When they heard this, the disciples fell on their faces, overcome with fear.

                    7.  Matthew 17: 7

But Jesus came up and touched them, saying, ‘Stand up, do not be afraid.’

                    8.  Matthew 17: 8

And when they raised their eyes they saw no one but Jesus.

                    9.  Matthew 17: 9

As they came down from the mountain Jesus gave them this order, ‘Tell no one about this vision until the Son of man has risen from the dead.’

                  10.  Matthew 17: 10-13

And the disciples put this question to him, ‘Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?’ He replied, ‘Elijah is indeed coming, and he will set everything right again; however, I tell you that Elijah has come already and they did not recognise him but treated him as they pleased; and the Son of man will suffer similarly at their hands.’ Then the disciples understood that he was speaking of John the Baptist.

                    6.  Jesus remains with us today

                    8.

                    9.

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people that they are living in the Age of the Two Hearts--that of My Heart and My Mother's heart. My people live in the initial stages of this great era. I call all My people to take up their refuge in My Heart and My Mother's heart. In Our Hearts they will become more and more transformed into My likeness.

"The greatest source for growth in devotion to Our Hearts is the Eucharist. I wish My people to attend Mass often, daily if possible. What a great gift I have given to My people in the Eucharist! Yet many of My people are indifferent to the treasures contained in the Mass. Think of it! My people are privileged to offer the Sacrifice of the Mass together with Me! And yet how many prefer to do other things rather than attend Mass. How this attitude offends My Sacred Heart!

"I long for My people to participate in the Mass and to receive Me worthily! Think of it! I, Who am your God, long to come to you each day! In the Eucharist I come to you in My Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Present within you, I long to take you close to My Sacred Heart, this Heart which is truly within you. The more you allow Me to do so, the more closely I press you to this Heart. I shower you with its riches. I abundantly give you great graces which increasingly form you in My likeness.

"I am Lord and Master! Please listen to My words. Pray, pray for a deeper understanding of the Mass. In union with Mary, approach Me daily in the Eucharist. I, your God, long to come to you. How much do you long to receive Me?"

excerpt from Tell My People, given to Fr. Carter

                  10.

Jesus: "My beloved priest-companion, tell My people how I long for them to come to Me in the Eucharist. The Eucharist is the great Sacrament of My love for My people. So many are indifferent to My Eucharistic presence. So many have no real desire to receive Me in the Eucharist. So many have no desire to visit Me in the Blessed Sacrament. How I long for My people to come before the tabernacle and to talk with Me!

"I am offended, many times seriously, by all the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences committed against My Eucharistic presence. I ask My people to make reparation for all this. I especially ask that they often say the prayer of Eucharistic reparation given by the angel to the three Fatima visionaries.

"I am Lord and Master. Please do as I request. My Eucharistic Heart is beating with unfathomable love for My people! Let them come to My Sacred Heart. How I long to take My people to My Heart and shower them with Its abundant graces! I love My people with a tremendous love, and I give them this message with the greatest love!"
