Mary has requested that the daily message be given each day to the world. It is read nightly at the prayer service from her Image Building in Clearwater, Florida, U.S.A. This is according to her request. All attempts will be made to publish this daily message to the world at 11 p.m. Eastern time, U.S.A.

We acknowledge that the final authority regarding these messages rests with the Holy See of Rome.

August 10, 2000

Jesus speaks:  I want you to be thankful, to spread seeds of love.
I have given you great gifts. You should show that joy in your heart.

You are my special spouse.

Praise Me, love Me, worship Me and thank the Father for the gifts He has given you in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

Thank the Father for Mary image.

Thank your Father for all your gifts.

Thank your Father for the gift of Me in the Eucharist, the priests and the Church and all the good He has given you.

Thank Him for each other.

John 12:24

In all truth I tell you,
unless a wheat grain falls into the earth
     and dies,
it remains only a single grain;
but if it dies
it yields a rich harvest.

Messenger: Our Founder talks about the paschal mystery.

In every Mass the death-resurrection of Jesus is sacramentally made present.

We die with Him, we lay down our lives to live more fully in the resurrection.

DYING     -        RISING
DEATH     -        RESURRECTION

He was born - He died - He rose.

WE SHARE IN HIS LIFE.

WE LAY DOWN OUR LIVES.

WE RECEIVE THE RESURRECTED LORD.

Memorial Acclamation

Lord, by Your cross and resurrection You have set us free - You are the Savior of the world.

Messenger: We die to ourselves every moment of the day as we unite to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

In dying to the false self we share more fully in His life.

Jesus was born to die.

We must give ourselves in total surrender especially at the Consecration of the Mass.

In the Mass the Sacrifice of Calvary is sacramentally made present.

We die to the false self.

John 12:24

In all truth I tell you,
unless a wheat grain falls into the earth
     and dies,
it remains only a single grain;
but if it dies
it yields a rich harvest.

August 10, 2000

Messenger: The priest at Mass spoke of flowers, how he liked to plant them and then when they die in the flower boxes there are lots of seeds for flowers the next year. He particularly talked about the marigolds.

I know when I was a child how I would take all the seeds out of the dead flowers and it was exciting. The priest said he would have flowers for the next year.

I thought of Emily's grandfather's funeral and the other funeral I accounted August 3, 2000, how the grandfathers had died.  Never before did I realize that although they had died, their love and the goodness in their lives lived on in their children and all they touched.

The scripture from today's Mass was this: a reading from the second letter of Paul to the Corinthians.

2 Corinthians 9:6-10

Blessings to be expected from the collection

But remember:  anyone who sows sparsely will reap sparsely as well--and anyone who sows generously will reap generously as well. Each one should give as much as he has decided on his own initiative, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. God is perfectly able to enrich you with every grace, so that you always have enough for every conceivable need, and your resources overflow in all kinds of good work. As scripture says: To the needy he gave without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever.

The one who so freely provides seed for the sower and food to eat will provide you with ample store of seed for sowing and make the harvest of your uprightness a bigger one:

Psalms 112:1-2

Praise of the upright

Alleluia!

How blessed is anyone who fears Yahweh,

who delights in his commandments!

His descendants shall be powerful on earth,

the race of the honest shall receive blessings:

Psalm 112:5-6

All goes well for one who lends generously,

who is honest in all his dealing;

for all time to come he will not stumble,

for all time to come the upright will be remembered.

Psalm 112:7-8,9

Bad news holds no fears for him,

firm is his heart, trusting in Yahweh.

His heart held steady, he has no fears,

till he can gloat over his enemies.

To the needy he gives without stint,

his uprightness stands firm for ever;

his reputation is founded on strength.

John 8:12

Jesus, the light of the world

When Jesus spoke to the people again, he said:

I am the light of the world;

anyone who follows me

will not be walking in the dark,

but will have the light of life.

Messenger: Yes:  We are His followers and His light should shine through us. We want to be so one in Him, which happens the more we unite to Him in the Eucharist and unite with one another in consecration.

Jesus told me at Mass how He wants to operate in each one of us, that it is so important that we are all doing His will. We do not want to be controlling so others do not do what God wants them to do, but as messengers, we deliver a message from God to lead them to the truth.

He is giving messages to help purify the earth, to help them to grow in great oneness united to the Mass and in consecration.

We must do all we can to go to this great era of peace where men will be living according to God's will. We must pray for this that we will become more and more aligned with exactly what God's will is for us and not overcompensate for others so they will respond. All have a glorious part in the plan of the Father. All must live more and more the lives of consecration begun at Baptism. We must pray the Words of Surrender and the Prayer for Union with Jesus that He will act in us and we will be as St. Paul says in Galatians.

Galatians 2:19

In fact, through the Law I am dead to the Law so that I can be alive to God. I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

Messenger: Jesus is giving us directions in the messages how to grow in greater oneness with our God and live more fully our life of consecration. When men are living their lives consecrated to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, there will be peace on the earth.

God unites us so profoundly the more we are united to the Mass. Our hearts are merged with those of others and we act more in harmony doing God's will as the body of Christ.

We surrender ourselves to Him frequently through the day, we give ourselves in the Prayer for Union.

Words of Surrender of a Soul

Words of Consecration to God

Today Lord, (today's date), I give You my entire will-

I give You all my liberties, I want to love and serve You as You desire.

I surrender myself to You.

I ask You to run my life.

I ask You to help me act like You, Jesus, and like Your Mother Mary.

God, this day I consecrate myself to You.

I am (name) , Your beloved child, guide me on my way now as I go about my day (or if in Church) as I leave Your Eucharistic presence.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

Messenger: We need this inner connection to God that we will all be working toward God's plan. We need this inner connection that we will live united to the Mass, acting as a body of intercessors laying down our lives for the priests, the Church and the world.

Working hard in communities and in families, in work, etc., helps us grow to be more perfected as our heavenly Father is perfect.

Our life is this journey to grow to be more perfected in our ways of loving.

We must interact with each other, give and take, not try to be the king over others, wanting exactly what God wants for us, living every moment according to His will, because how we are at every moment affects everybody else.

When we receive the Eucharist, we eat His Body and drink His Blood and we become more likened to Him. We are, when we receive Him worthily, changed more and more and we become more united in Him.

If a priest can change ordinary bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ, we can in our imperfect ways, be changed more and more to be like our beloved God when we receive Him.

We can't hold onto our lives here on earth. We must want whatever is God's will and while we are here we must realize how our lives united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the disposition of our hearts can help bring down great grace for ourselves and souls.

A man dies, his children live on.

It is a natural process.

A plant flowers, then it fades, but the seeds can live on to bring forth more and more beautiful flowers. That is why it is important we do exactly what God's will is for us. God may use us tremendously to help compensate for those who are not praying, but we must want to do God's will.

A sentence in the founder's book, Response to God's Love talked about a woman who prayed all day and didn't take care of her family.

Servants and handmaids and some apostles have given their lives almost completely to the ministry, but still stay connected with their families on a limited basis. But many of us married apostles have to juggle what God's will is for us. I know it is God's will that I spend a lot of time in prayer and a lot of time for the Movement as His messenger, but I still have family responsibilities, it is God's will.

The most important thing I must do is to do God's will - WITH LOVE. The seeds I plant will go on and on and on. I must learn to become more like Jesus and Mary in all my mannerisms. I must strive to let go of ways that keep me stuck, selfish, dominant where I shouldn't be dominant.

I must take seriously my commitment as His messenger and as a family member.

Leaders must lead as He has asked them to do. They are serving other people as they are serving God. They must stay connected to Jesus' Plan by studying the Messages, if they are Shepherds of Christ leaders. They must stay connected through the 13ths and 5ths, and answer to the ones who deliver special messages to them.

A misdirected apostle or leader affects the whole Movement.

We want every decision right, not any quick solutions for a fast answer that may make us feel relieved of pressure, but which may result in a bad solution in the end that causes great grief.

God, at times, allows us to have extended periods when we must pray and wait for the right solution. Jesus hung on the cross for three hours.

Whatever the case, we must try to do God's will.

Maybe it is the time to act. We must be working ALWAYS TOWARDS GOD'S WILL, not to relieve ourselves of a burden when the time is not right.

We must endure suffering and DO GOD'S WILL IN LOVE.

I end this writing with the Our Father and the Gospel of Today.

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

John 12: 24-26

In all truth I tell you,

unless a wheat grain falls into the earth

   and dies,

it remains only a single grain;

but if it dies

it yields a rich harvest.

Anyone who loves his life loses it;

anyone who hates his life in this world

will keep it for eternal life.

Whoever serves me, must follow me,

and my servant will be with me

   wherever I am.

If anyone serves me,

   my Father will honour him.
