                Today's Readings

2 John 4-9

It has given me great joy to find that children of yours have been living the life of truth as we were commanded by the Father. And now I am asking you—dear lady, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but only the one which we have had from the beginning—that we should love one another.
To love is to live according to his commandments: this is the commandment which you have heard since the beginning, to live a life of love.

The enemies of Christ

There are many deceivers at large in the world, refusing to acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in human nature. They are the Deceiver; they are the Antichrist. Watch yourselves, or all our work will be lost and you will forfeit your full reward. If anybody does not remain in the teaching of Christ but goes beyond it, he does not have God with him: only those who remain in what he taught can have the Father and the Son with them.

Psalm 119: 1-2, 10, 11, 17-18

How blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the Law of Yahweh
Blessed are those who observe his instructions,
who seek him with all their hearts,

With all my heart I seek you,
do not let me stray from your commandments.
In my heart I treasure your promises,
to avoid sinning against you.

Be generous to your servant and I shall live,
and shall keep your words.
Open my eyes and I shall fix my gaze
on the wonders of your Law.

Luke 17: 26-37

'As it was in Noah's day, so will it also be in the days of the Son of man. People were eating and drinking, marrying wives and husbands, right up to the day Noah went into the ark, and the Flood came and destroyed them all. It will be the same as it was in Lot's day: people were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but the day Lot left Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and it destroyed them all. It will be the same when the day comes for the Son of man to be revealed.

‘When that Day comes, no one on the housetop, with his possessions in the house, must come down to collect them, nor must anyone in the fields turn back. Remember Lot’s wife. Anyone who tries to preserve his life will lose it; and anyone who loses it will keep it safe. I tell you, on that night, when two are in one bed, one will be taken, the other left; when two women are grinding corn together, one will be taken, the other left.’ The disciples spoke up and asked, ‘Where, Lord?’ He said, ‘Where the body is, there too will the vultures gather.’

                R. Walk in the truth
                Walk in the light

                    Jesus said:

I am the Way: I am Truth and Life...   John 14: 6

In today's readings as we approach
the end of the liturgical year A
we see the Word reminds us
how things were at the time
                    of Noah –
                    they wouldn't listen and
the Gospel tells us about the
                    days of Lot –

Then it tells us about the day
the Son of Man is revealed –

The Gospel reminds us of Lot's
                    wife

                and then says

"whoever seeks to preserve his life
                    will lose it, but whoever
                    loses it will save it"

                This is some Gospel –

Jesus is knocking at our door –

On November 11th, He gave this message
                    verbally during retreat
                    (transcribed from a tape)

Prayer Service

Song: Unless a Grain of Wheat

R. And another song that Jesus would like us to do is #444 in the Gather. Because the message of yesterday was how we see that we will suffer and we will die and we can be raised to new life in Him eternally. We see that there is that struggle when the baby comes into the world in the mother's womb, and that it is growing in there and the mother struggles and then the baby is born.

And then we see in our lives that we too, are like in this birthing stage, this spiritual birthing stage, of progressing more and more into that image and likeness of God. And if we did not die then we would not be able to go to that next stage, which is to walk through that door, to be able to go to heaven someday. And so we see it is really, really important — unless a grain of wheat shall fall upon the ground and die, it remains but a grain of wheat with no life.

And so in yesterday's message we saw that Jesus was talking about, particularly, how if we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, we see that suffering is to lead to greater life, if we stay rooted in Him. And Jesus came and showed us that He suffered and He died, that He took flesh, and then He showed us that He rose on the 3rd day victorious, and we are to see ourselves this way. That this is God's will.

Song: Now the Green Blade Rises

R. Are we a part of that, are we alive, like He said in that Ascension Thursday in May of 1995

Jesus: I am treated like a dead object.

Song: Now the Green Blade Rises

Jesus: Come out of the tomb.

Song: Now the Green Blade Rises

R. So yesterday, it was a beautiful message and He told us that really if we follow in His footsteps, that we do suffer and just reading the message, I'm saying to myself, oh no. And so anyway, but He said something else in that message, that when you do suffer, that it kind of takes you out of this universe, and it takes you into the next world, which we become closer to Him a lot of times because of the sufferings that we do have to endure.

What number was that, Without Clouds, do you know?

And so He said to sing this song too, Without Clouds.

Song: Without Clouds

Song: The Mountains and the Hills

Song: Father of Peace

R. See Jesus at the door, at the door of your house, and He's knocking and He's saying let Me in. And you say what to Him.

Song: Father of Peace

Jesus says I'm knocking on your door. What are you saving yourself for?

Song: Father of Peace

Jesus: I am love, listen to Me.

Song: Father of Peace

Listen to Me, He says.

Song: Father of Peace

Jesus: And I call at your door. What are you waiting for? I have called you to My Heart, to let go and to surrender, to know that I am real, that I am alive. And to spread this message to the whole wide world. Sing!!

Song: Father of Peace

R. What a gift He gives!

Song: Father of Peace

Jesus: I am with you today.

Song: Father of Peace

Jesus: I am knocking.

Song: Father of Peace

R. And so we get into bad habits and we sit locked up like some kind of a locked, old tin box, that might contain some kind of a jewel. And we save it and we save it and we put it under the bed and we say, oh I got to watch this, and we lock our doors.

And God says I made you to go out to think of the other.

R. And we say, well, we don't know if we should be able to trust anybody, you know. We should stay locked up in our old tin boxes.

And Jesus says: Well, you fool. I'm standing there and I'm knocking on your door, and you are telling me you are afraid. I came to this earth, and I took flesh, because I love you so much. Listen to Me.

Song: All That We Have

R. If we don't think about God all day in everything that we do, and if we aren't living to serve Him, what are we doing?

Song: All That We Have

R. What power, it comes from God.

Song: All That We Have

R. What Gold?

Song: All That We Have

R. And He is outpouring to us today, greater grace for faith, hope and love. We can open up our door and we can tell Him to go away, that we are saving ourselves for tomorrow. Right?

Song: All That We Have

R. Being free, is living in the Father's will and we get to know what the Father's will is by praying to the Holy Spirit and asking for that special gift of counsel.

Song: All That We Have

R. Not staying static out there, just standing by the lake, but not getting in. God comes up and He gives us a bathing suit, He gives us the water, He gives us the sun. He gives us everything to have a good day, and we stand by the side, and say, oh I don't know. And then He stands there like this, and we still say, oh I don't know. And then He comes and knocks on our door and we say, oh I don't know. And then we wait and we wait and we wait. What are we waiting for, our days are like tickers. They are going to go into that time of all eternity, where there is no time. And we have the time here and we were saving ourselves for what?

Song: All That We Have

R. Freedom is found in doing the Father's will. Not standing by the lake and saying, oh I don't know. When He is standing right there next to you and you say, oh I don't know. How are you ever going to know? When He knocks on your door, and you don't open it, and God is outside there, how are you ever going to say, oh I don't know.

Song: Choose Life

Jesus says choose life.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

R. And that's what Jesus said today in His message, that He came to teach us, to open up our doors and to listen.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

Open up He says. I gave you these message to tell the world how I love them, and you measure them by how I am delivering them, instead of doing the work of spreading it to a world that is starving for love. You sit there and you listen to what goes on rather than listening to Me.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

Jesus: And so I tell you that I give you these messages for the world to know of My love, for I am love and I took flesh, and I came to this earth, to teach the world about the love of God, to teach them to love one another, to adore God, to worship God, and to be holy. You do not read the Blue Books or you would not hesitate. You would be open and kind and loving and united and ready to take My word to the whole ends of the earth. Get out of your old pods.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

Jesus: The world is starving.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

Jesus:  Listen.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

Jesus: Take My message to the world. Do not listen to satan. I have given so many messages of My love. What makes you think at this stage of the game, I would not give messages to a chosen soul, that the souls of the earth would know about the love of God from Me, the Savior.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

Jesus: Tell them.

Song: Come Unto Me All Who are Weary

R. That's exactly what He said today, He is giving this message He is giving the message, quit focusing on me and He wants us to spread the message to the earth because it is His message. He came down here and He took flesh and He died to teach us about Himself, about love of God, about love of others. Wow!

And we got the Magnificat, that the Mother of God gives to us, how she tells us how to be. Of course we can ignore her and listen to - what? That safety margin. Why is that safe? Why is that safe to stand by the lake, and deny the knocking of God on our door?

Song: Service

R. Understanding and love.

Song: Service

Song: Sing out His Goodness

R. I pray all these prayers that God has given to me for the priests, the Church and the world, for the 8 days that He has asked me to send that card out, with our praying in China for this purpose during these retreats to bring healing and to believe in the miracles.

Song: Sing out His Goodness

Jesus: This is My message for the world.

Song: Sing out His Goodness

R. God is joy. Mary appeared to me for 2 hours telling me that message.

Song: Sing out His Goodness

R. That's why the Virgin Mary Building is there, that's why we are here.

Song: Sing out His Goodness

Song: Deep Within

R. We take the light and we put it upon a lamp stand to shine to all who are in the house, to all who are in the world that God came and died so that they could be saved!

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Apostles Creed

 end of prayer service

                R. Christ is knocking on our door and
                    we can ignore Him –

                R. Christ is knocking on our door
                    and we can say
"Go away, Jesus, I have my
                    own agenda"

St. John in the first reading is
                reminding us about love –
                the commandment from the beginning,
                    St. John says.

St. John tells us to remain in
                    the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Jesus came to teach us about
                    Himself –

                God is love –

We can ignore His call to love God
                    first and love our neighbor
                    as ourselves –

But it is the call of God
to teach us about love –
to put God first, doing God's will in love
to focus on the other –
to love our neighbor as ourselves and

                Jesus showed us
                    He laid down His life
                        for us –

Loving us His brothers to His
                    death on the cross –

Jesus showed us how to love
                    our neighbor as ourselves –

John 10: 7-18

So Jesus spoke to them again:

In all truth I tell you,
I am the gate of the sheepfold.
All who have come before me
are thieves and bandits,
but the sheep took no notice of them.
I am the gate.
Anyone who enters through me
   will be safe:
such a one will go in and out
and will find pasture.
The thief comes
only to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
so that they may have life
and have it to the full.
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
    for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
    and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
    and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
And there are other sheep I have
that are not of this fold,
and I must lead these too.
They too will listen to my voice,
and there will be only one flock,
one shepherd.
The Father loves me,
because I lay down my life
in order to take it up again.
No one takes it from me;
I lay it down of my own free will,
and as I have power to lay it down,
so I have power to take it up again;
and this is the command
I have received from my Father.

                R. Jesus has given us the Blue Books
to teach us how to purely
                    love –

The Blue Books are His writings
to teach us to love more and more
                    likened to Him –

Jesus tells us to write a 10
                    minute letter to Him
                    every day
(we can tear it up afterward
                    if we don't want anyone
                    to read it),
but we can tell Jesus our
                    concerns,
                    but always outpour our
                    love to Him –

Then open up the Blue Book –

                Start with Blue Book III
And read for 10 minutes –
                        open anywhere –
                        keep reading, though,
                        for 10 minutes –

Jesus tells us how He expects
us to treat each other –
                    Jesus tells us how much
                        He loves us –
                    Jesus tells us how much
                        He wants our love –

What a gift – this process
                    every day –

                    Intimate union with Jesus
can help us grow in our
                        ways of communicating
                        with Jesus and all others
                        in love –

Do it, your life will change –
                    if you take what Jesus
                    says seriously –
if you try to be loving
                    in writing and talking
                    to Him –

Sharing your love and life and
                    problems with Him –

                Jesus is a Person –

He says that over and over
                    again –

Jesus loves us so much –

                He remains in the
                    Blessed Sacrament
