Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
R. Mary the most perfect human creature
God created was not tainted by
any sin. Mary so beautiful – so
pleasing to God. Mary welcomed
the Divine seed within her –
Mary welcomed – she gave herself –
her body, her life, her love –
Mary – perfect handmaid of God –
The love of Mary shows us
her self-less ness – She welcomed –
She opened up – She co-operated
with God –
Eve was given such gifts from
God and she was selfish and
prideful – she listened to the devil –
she put the devil before God's
command to her – She disobeyed
what God commanded her to do.
She defied God.
Then she went to Adam to tempt
him and bring him down too,
into disobedience to God –
another act of selfish pride
and decision to disobey God and
put satan's temptation before
God's command to her.
Sin is darkness. Sin is willfully
turning your back on God's commands,
God's will, just-God-given-authority,
and putting yourself above God.
Satan wants a person to turn
their back on God – to defy God's
commands, to then lie about
their sin and they can get very
good at denying their sin –
disobedience - and willfulness.
When lightening strikes there
is a streak of light in the
darkness. A person can be given
a grace to help them turn from
their evil design – so we keep praying
for grace when sin is ruling,
but the sight is like lightening –
it may be a streak of light,
but sinners can ignore it
and the darkness of sin –
because of pride remains,
because of willfulness remains –
there can be a surge of power –
over which gives the sinner
a joy (not real joy) but they
enjoy being above God, above
authority and thus experience
a power to hold-out, sin, be
willful over God. And when
darkness, holding out, unjust
power-over what God wants
a person to do –
the devil enters in and the
sinner is willfully consenting
to being an enemy to God's
will for them –
The darkness becomes darker
and the stubbornness against
God's will, more stubborn when
a sinner clutches the darkness
and willfully enjoys power-over
what God wants for vain
attention and pleasure of being
in control in disorder.
Last night I wanted to pray
for the election and go to Church
and I started out and it was
a very black night – someone
in my family said – it's really
black out and so I prayed
where I usually do.
Black can be blacker – Jesus
showed me this in the China Church
once –

R. The devil works with sinners
this way – The devil hates – he
hates anything that has love in
it.
The devil will be in hell
eternally. He will never get out.
The envy of the devil is that souls
will go to heaven. Jesus wants us
sorry when we sin. Jesus paid
a price for our sins. Jesus
wants humility and truth –
God is love – Jesus offers us
forgiveness and mercy, but
the sinner that enjoys the pride,
power-over, who chooses sin
willfully and holds onto it, is
turning their back on repentance.
Bishop Sheen said the worst
is a person that denies their
sin, that does not change.
When we sin and go to confession,
we are to have a sorrow for
sin, a purpose of amendment.
In the Bible it talks of hard-hearts
over and over again.
Hearts become hard when they
are stubborn in sin – when
they hold out and keep holding out –
repeating the same disobedience
before God in pleasure –
shunning God over - them –
shunning and disobeying just
authority over them –
and making DIS-ORDER with
Malice of intent for power-over –
The dark gets darker –
The heart gets harder –
Year after year a harder heart,
lacking discipline of the will
necessary in life –
The devil can use these unrepentant
sinners as instruments –
Because of pride and stubbornness,
they fail to recognize even though
we have been baptized – we
have tendencies toward the
deadly sins of
pride, anger, jealousy, envy,
slothfulness, lust, gluttony.
The devil works in the wounded
human nature of these sinners
to bring disorder, destruction,
chaos, confusion, darkness –
down where God wants light
and love and docility in holiness.
Humility is truth – it is a
virtue – the opposite of this
is pride.
Luke 4: 1-13
Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert, for forty days being put to the test by the devil. During that time he ate nothing and at the end he was hungry. Then the devil said to him, ‘If you are Son of God, tell this stone to turn into a loaf.’ But Jesus replied, ‘Scripture says:
Human beings live not on bread alone.’
Then leading him to a height, the devil showed him in a moment of time all the kingdoms of the world and said to him, ‘I will give you all this power and their splendour, for it has been handed over to me, for me to give it to anyone I choose.& Do homage, then, to me, and it shall all be yours.’ But Jesus answered him, ‘Scripture says:
You must do homage to the Lord your God,
him alone you must serve.’Then he led him to Jerusalem and set him on the parapet of the Temple. ‘If you are Son of God,’ he said to him, ‘throw yourself down from here, for scripture says:
He has given his angels orders about you,

They will carry you in their arms

Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’
Having exhausted every way of putting him to the test, the devil left him, until the opportune moment.
1 Corinthians 15: 20-28
In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

Yes by the envy of the devil
he tempts men to be
enemies of God's plan
and because of their
wounded human nature
they can serve him –
turn their back on God

including God –
and they become brazen
like He isn't watching –
Jesus is the Bridegroom of
our soul – He knows
our hearts – better than
we know our own hearts –
the devil is a deceiver –
He is the Father of lies –
He wants men to fall
into his deceptive design –
to lie and say after they
sin –

Jesus says it's slim –
slim like a snake
circling a soul who
gives in and making
the devil their Master –
and they say –
Come on in satan –

under my feet.

In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.
Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.
Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".

Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.
You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.
When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.
I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.
I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.
