R. It is a journey we are on.
Today is Ash Wednesday to
remind us we are going through
these days – focusing on our souls –
and preparing ourselves for
Easter.
The pascal mystery is death/resurrection.
We want purity in our heart.
The devil wants to take as many
souls to hell as he can. He is
jealous that we can be forgiven
of our sins and have God's mercy.
The days of our lives march
on in petty pace, Jesus says.
He wants us to be drawn closer
and closer to Him in these days –
loving Him more and more and
living to be more and more pure.
Life is in Him. Life is in
knowing the presence of God in
us, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Life
is lived – really lived in this!!
The Eucharist is such a gift –
Jesus is truly present in His
Divinity and humanity –
Jesus is the way, the truth and
the life.
Ephesians 6: 10-20
Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength
of his power. Put on the full armour of God so as to be able to
resist the devil’s tactics. For it is not against human enemies that
we have to struggle, but against the principalities and the ruling
forces who are masters of the darkness in this world, the spirits of
evil in the heavens. That is why you must take up all God’s armour,
or you will not be able to put up any resistance on the evil day, or
stand your ground even though you exert yourselves to the full.
So stand your ground, with truth a belt round
your waist, and uprightness a breastplate, wearing for
shoes on your feet the eagerness to spread the gospel of peace
and always carrying the shield of faith so that you can use it to
quench the burning arrows of the Evil One. And then you must take
salvation as your helmet and the sword of the Spirit, that is,
the word of God.
In all your prayer and entreaty keep praying in
the Spirit on every possible occasion. Never get tired of staying
awake to pray for all God’s holy people, and pray for me to be given
an opportunity to open my mouth and fearlessly make known the
mystery of the gospel of which I am an ambassador in chains; pray
that in proclaiming it I may speak as fearlessly as I ought to.
R. The devil is real. He goes
about undercover and tempts
people to sin. He works in
opposition to what God is calling
us to do.
We are not to put ourselves in
the occasion of sin.
We know God wants our
love, but we must love others
and love ourselves too. It
is important we can give and
receive love and know God
wants us to receive love and
have joy in it.
God wants us to make friends,
to trust worthy people we need
to work with and live with in our
lives.
We are to live virtuously –
begging for an increase of faith,
hope and love, not give into
our wounded human nature
in giving into bad, destructive,
habits of anger, jealousy,
slothfulness, pride, envy,
lust and gluttony.
We pray to have good habits,
faith, hope, love, humility,
prudence, justice, temperance,
fortitude.
God wants us strong – we unite
with others – work with others
God intends us to work with.
There is strength in loving and
working with others God
intends us to have relationships
with.
We want to be holy – we
are here to be more and more
like Christ –
We need to pray for the Church
and the world to be more like Jesus.
We live our life of consecration
to Jesus giving our hearts to
Jesus and Mary and consecrating the
Church and the world to Jesus and Mary.
We pray for our political
leaders who are suffering
right now and we pray for
men who are doing evil to
get power for power sake –
Good leaders help others to be
what God wants them to be –
They don't operate from their
unhealed darkness for power-over
and punishment to others. They
recognize that men were created
in the image and likeness of God.
We must spread these prayer
chapters Jesus gave us and
spread this message.

R.
Dear Jesus, Give me Your hand to write this book
for you. I am your servant. I want to be Your hand
to this world. If you, Lord Jesus, would write a
book, what would you say?
Jesus:
My dear children,
Today I come to
deliver a message to each of you. I want to tell you
of each person's dignity, of their beauty and their
self-worth. Each child is, oh, so uniquely precious
to My Most Sacred Heart. Each child is full of the
talents I have given to them. Each person is
divinely created by God and given all these gifts to
be happy and love one another.
The problem comes
when you feel you will be left out. That you will be
left by another who has trodden on you and will do
it again. I see you all as My most precious
children. I watch your every move and know all pain
and anguish in your heart. My Heart aches, you have
insecure feelings about yourself. I came to this
earth I died for you. I felt cold, hungry, lonely on
this earth. You need not worry that no one knows the
pain and anguish in your heart. God created you with
such special gifts and talents. It is important for
you to raise above your wound and forgive those who
hurt you.
You need only turn
your will and your life over to Me and I will guide
you in all your ways. I have all the Power. Many are
not of My ways. The key to life is to recognize your
faults, but still know you are this precious gift of
My Father a gift to this world. This world is in
need of your strength. Running yourself down,
blaming others hurting them can cause you misery and
pain. At this very moment, you are the precious
creation of God!! You must operate with Me in your
heart.
You need not run
yourself down. I am with you every day guiding your
ways, lest your foot stumble and you lose your way.
You will not wander far from your path if every day
you keep bringing your focus back to Me. If you dare
let Me be at the helm, if you dare to really let Me
run your life, I will do with you such wonders that
you yourself would be amazed. But you will know with
such ease when you did these things that you did not
do them alone. You will know My power, moving the
mountain, My power chipping at the stone, My power
working on your hardest problem and you will be set
free.
Oh yes, you will
be set free and know a serenity that only comes from
letting go and letting Me run your life. To you, My
child, I have given all that is good. I made you My
holy soldier, My warrior in a world of pain and
hatred. You are the light that shines in the
darkness, you are the coat to a cold child, you are
the smile that warms a troubled and lonely heart.
You are the comfort for everyone you meet, because
My most precious Heart powers you, smiles through
you, understands and loves through you.
Love your fellows
for Me. There are so many troubled hearts that need
to know My love. I can love through you if you let
Me, I can be their friend through you if you let Me.
I am He who comforts you and you are he who comforts
them. My power is endless, it never runs out, there
is not a power failure EVER. In your darkest hour,
My light shines in the darkness and I say to you,
"Oh blessed of My Father, look at yourself with awe,
you are My creation, you are indeed so precious to
Me, you are My light to this world, you are My hands
and My feet and most of all My Heart."
Oh, you are My
loving Heart, to those who are bowed down, to those
who are lost in the darkness, you carry My smile and
wear My armor in a world that is trying to tear one
another down with hate and ugliness. There is
gentleness, there is love, there is hope in you, if
you open yourself up to Me. Be My knight to the
world, wear My armor. I am your God and I will
protect you from the darkness. Plug into My power,
be not afraid, I go before you always and you can
rest in My arms when you feel weary. You can put
your head in My lap and weep, you will know, I am
truly with you and you are My light to this world. I
created you so special - to cast out fear in the
darkness, to clothe the naked, to give hope to the
oppressed, to be as I live in you and love through
you and you are My smile and I touch My hurting ones
through your love.
You are he who
loves this world. You must stay plugged into My
power-source. This world is
hungry for My love. It needs My love, I give to them
through you. I am your God and I made you as a gift
to the world. You are filled.
Focus on Me and
your life will be abundant and whole, joy
in suffering, freedom — but you can take the knocks
because you will know you do not go it alone, but
with Me. I love you My precious child.

45: 19
The Lord saw it and was
displeased,
his raging fury made an end of them;
he worked miracles on them,
consuming them by his flaming fire.
R. Things pass in our lives,
a disease, a bad back, a head-ache
and they almost disappear sometimes
after we pray and ask God to help us –
but the time we were called to
great suffering can be a time of
closeness to God – when we know
we need His help and need a miracle
and we have to turn to Him and
depend on Him – That closeness
can be a great treasure of
intimacy with Him –
Jeremiah 1: 4-10
The call of Jeremiah
The word of Yahweh came to me, saying:
‘Before I formed you in the womb
I knew you;
before you came to birth
I consecrated you;
I appointed you as prophet to the nations.’
I then said, ‘Ah, ah, ah, Lord
Yahweh;
you see, I do not know how to speak: I am only a child!’
But Yahweh replied,
‘Do not say, "I am only a child,"
for you must go to all to whom I send you
and say whatever I command you.
Do not be afraid of confronting them,
for I am with you to rescue you,
Yahweh declares.’
Then Yahweh stretched out
his hand and touched my mouth,
and Yahweh said to me:
‘There! I have put my words
into your mouth.
Look, today I have set you
over the nations and kingdoms,
to uproot and to knock down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
to build and to plant.’
Psalm 89: 47-52
Remember me; how
long have I left?
For what pointless end did you create all
the
children of
Adam?
Who can live and never see death?
Who can save himself from the clutches of
Sheol?
Lord, what of
those pledges of your faithful love?
You made an oath to David by your constancy.
Do not forget the insults to your servant;
I take to heart the taunts of the nations,
which your enemies have levelled, Yahweh,
have levelled at the footsteps of your
anointed!
Blessed be
Yahweh for
ever.
Amen, Amen.
R. The word of God is like a mighty oak
in our hearts – It helps us when
the enemy comes to strike and
try to lead us off –
Psalm 36: 2-5
He sees himself with
too flattering an eye
to detect and detest his guilt;
all he says is malicious and deceitful,
he has turned his back on wisdom.
To get his way he hatches malicious
plots
even in his bed;
once set on his evil course
no wickedness is too much for him.
Yahweh, your
faithful love is in the heavens,
your constancy reaches to the clouds,
R. The man of strength has a heart of
love and is rooted in God. He is not like
the wind that blows and tears down
the house and is gone. Satan comes
to destroy and he is hidden in his
evil designs. There can be peace and
then like a strong wind – unseen satan
whirls in and destroys, brings chaos,
confusion, destruction, disorder
and lies.
Be prepared with the breast-plate
of truthfulness and filled abundantly
with His grace. Be prepared that
your heart is loving and united –
A fool lives in division and isolation –
it is easy for the devil to turn his
head – he is weak and already
1/2 turned with his back to God.
The strong man is rooted in
God. His face is light – His heart
is rooted in love and not jealousy,
anger and envy and pride.
How easy it is to blow down
a tattered falling house, is it not.
R. The wind came and the house of
straw and twigs was shattered,
but the house of bricks never
moved.
Jesus: Let your hearts be build on
the solid rock of virtues. Cling
to the vision of your heavenly Father,
let your hearts be hearts of love
and unity and peace in God –
and when the wind comes –
Your love will strengthen the
bars of your gates – your light
a fire of love burning in you –
your warmth like the noon day
and your heat is what fills
your house with the comfort
against the cold outside –
Why would a man leave
himself divided like a torn down
shack, alone and weak when
the torrential wind comes –
Why would he leave himself
so weak and alone –
Commit to the Lord –
Trust in God –
Say "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
I Trust in you"
Jesus: I am your light –
I will light your path –
Make beautiful waters – water
your garden –
I will give you rich land for the
harvest and –
You will rest easy knowing the
keeper of your life is God.
Evildoers will be cut off
and they lay their own
beds – strung with tacks
and thistles – prickly bushes –
They make a path of obstruction
for themselves and fight
an endless battle of
darkness –
Walk by My light, My people –
Walk and be comforted –
Walk by the light of a moon-lite
night and a garden of light
surrounding you always.
The Creator walks with you –
He made the light and
the darkness, why would
you fire Him from your
path and chart an isolated
path in weeds and obstruction
to hold the claw of satan –
The man of justice is always
rooted on solid ground – the
fool sells his own place
and falls into the abyss
because he is senseless and
listened to the counsel of the
devil who wants to destroy
him –
Let your light shine on this
earth so men will see your
good works and praise your
heavenly Father –
Be meek in heart, only the fool
fights day long because in him
he lacks the peace of being
rooted in God.
The fool goes after the just
man because he is empty and
filled with darkness and turmoil
inside.
The just man is at peace,
even in turmoil for he is
rooted in the light and knows
God.
The man who is at war with
God is full of enemies he
wants to destroy –
while the man who knows God
is full of love
Psalm 37: 27-40
Turn your back on
evil and do good,
you
will have a home for ever,
for
Yahweh loves
justice
and
will not forsake his faithful.
Evil-doers
will
perish eternally,
the descendants of the wicked be
annihilated,
but the upright shall have the land for
their own,
there they shall live for ever.
Wisdom comes from the
lips of the upright,
and his tongue speaks what is right;
the
law of
his
God is
in his heart,
his foot
will
never slip.
The wicked keeps a close
eye on the upright,
looking out for a chance to kill him;
Yahweh
will
never abandon him to the clutches of the
wicked,
nor let him be condemned if he is tried.
Put your
hope in
Yahweh, keep to his path,
he
will
raise you up to make the land your own;
you
will
look on while the wicked are
annihilated.
I have seen the wicked
exultant,
towering like a
cedar
of Lebanon.
When next I passed he was gone,
I searched for him and he was nowhere to
be found.
Observe the innocent,
consider the honest,
for the lover of peace
will
not lack children.
But the wicked
will
all be destroyed together,
and their
children
annihilated.
The upright have
Yahweh for their Saviour,
their refuge in times of trouble;
Yahweh helps them and rescues them,
he
will rescue them from the
wicked,
and save them because they take refuge in him.
Jesus: You know life is but a
breathe and it is gone.
Woe to those men who
thought that getting their
way was so important.
The foolish virgins had no
oil for their lamp when the
bridegroom came and they
were left out in the cold.
For I hear the cry of the poor
and I answer them, I love
you, My faithful soldiers
and I will not leave you
in the lurches –
I lay the carpet of salvation
before you and you walk
like a man of righteousness
with My light shining to
show you the way –
The man of evil languishes
through his life, while the man
rooted in God sails with the
wind with him on the sea of life.
Psalm 41: 1-3
Blessed is anyone who
cares for he poor and the weak;
in time of trouble Yawheh rescues him.
Yahweh protects him, gives him life and happiness on earth.
Do not abandon him to his enemies’ pleasure!
Yahweh sustains him on his bed of sickness;
you transform altogether the bed where he lies sick.
R. Dear God I hope in Thee –
Let my eyes see Your
light all the days
of my life –
God, my God, I love You so.
You are my strength –
Your dictates You have given
to me –
I live by Your commandments
and Your Word God –
You are my light and my life –
Thank You God –
I sing Your praises –
I know Your light in my soul –
You are so beautiful to me
my God –
Protect me from the evil
man, plotting my ruin –
Strengthen and protect
my steps so I never
falter or fall from You.
You love justice and right
and hate what is evil –

your righteous hand.
Psalm 46: 1-8
God is both refuge and strength for us,
a help always ready in trouble;
so we shall not be afraid though the earth be in turmoil,
though mountains tumble into the depths of the sea,
and its waters roar and seethe,
and the mountains totter as it heaves.
(Yahweh Sabaoth is with us,
our citadel, the God of Jacob.) Pause
There is a river whose
streams bring joy to God's city,
it sanctifies the dwelling of the Most High.
God is in the city, it cannot fall;
at break of day God comes to its rescue.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are tumbling,
when he raises his voice the earth crumbles away.
(Yahweh Sabaoth is with us,
our citadel, the God of Jacob.) Pause
Come, consider the wonders of Yahweh,
the astounding deeds he has done on the earth:
R. Life is but a breathe –
Why should I fear the
evildoer –
He will soon be dealt
with –
In my suffering I prayed
to God and He opened
the gates and poured
down His saving grace
for those who were
ready to receive it –
God fight my fight as
I put my trust in Thee –
God is our Savior and we
need Him.

Jesus: The man who follows satan –
loves evil and hates what
is right –
he does not even see the
folly of His ways –
He sells his own house to
give into his power
and then all he once
had is lost –
A beggar – He becomes
a beggar, a prisoner –
when he once lived
the keeper and king of
a castle
Put God first in your life
man –
lest you play cards with
satan – whose winning
trump card is to destroy
your whole life.
I give you My commandments –
I am your Creator –
there is only foolish men
who oppose God –
fools – fools – to
be a creature and oppose
your Creator
He bargained his castle and
became a beggar –
because he gave into
the deception of the devil –
Let your light shine –
praise your heavenly Father
and give thanks –
Walk in the way of the Light
Live in virtue –
Put aside your foolish
tantrums and acting
like rebellious children –
Put on the armor of mature
soldiers for Christ
