Jesus speaks:     I come to you this night, My beloved ones,
                                to deliver this message to you.

                            For the fear grips the heart of many,
                                for they do not understand.

                            And I am with you in all of your trials,
                                and speaking to you
                                and telling you what I want you to do,
                                but many do not listen.

                            And My Mother Mary appeared,
                                and appeared,
                                and appeared
                                and you did not listen
                                to the message that she delivered.

                            I appear to you this night
                                to deliver this message.

                            I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God
                                and I speak to you here.

                            I give to you the messages
                                to help spread My Movement,
                                to help renew the Church and the world,
                                to the far ends of the earth.

                            I give you My messages to reach the schools
                                with the school rosary program,
                                and the methods that I tell you to use
                                are blocked by many.

                            But if I speak to you and you do not listen,
                                what should We do
                                that you will hear?
                            For many have their own way.

                            My Mother Mary appeared here everyday
                                for over 7 years
                                and many did not hear
                                nor did they listen,
                                and today I deliver a strong message to you
                                that it is so important
                                that the rosary beads are sent to the schools
                                and the materials are purchased
                                and the rosary made
                                through the rosary makers hands.

                            But although I speak and I ask you to help,
                                so many do not hear,
                                for they focus on the messenger
                                and the other things
                                to justify why they just will not help.

                            Your Mother Mary has spoken
                                many, many, many times
                                and her message has been ignored.

Mary speaks:      I am Mary your Mother and I saw my Son.

                            He was beaten at the pillar

                            But the love, my children, that He had,
                                as He suffered, in His Heart for you

                                and I ask you to tell my children in the schools about the rosary,
                                to spread the Red Rosary Book

                                to tell the children during this Lenten season about the Passion,

                                and I want it circulated to the far ends of the earth
                                by hard copy and by tape
                                that the people will hear the words that I have spoken,

                                and I have been ignored.

                            My school children need the rosary beads
                                in their hands.

                            Such a little request,
                                but the ears of so many are plugged
                                and will not listen
                                and yet it is the same message that I gave to you at Fatima
                                and you did not listen,
                                and so many years later after
                                I appeared, and appeared, and appeared, and appeared,
                                I was ignored.

                            And I ask you, my children,
                                to help to get the rosaries into the schools,
                                through the donations,
                                through the making of rosaries,
                                and giving the kits to many elderly that can help.

                            My children you do not know how much the rosary
                                will help your children and their lives,
                                for the devil is strong and he prowls the earth
                                and he wants the hearts of your children,
                                but you do not listen to me, Mary your Mother.

                                but you have ignored the messages that I have given.

Jesus speaks:    My dear people —

                               Trust in Me, I am your God.
                               And a blanket covers the earth, snow white,
                                in one place in the world and

                                The bloody slaughter is felt in places of the
                                    world
                                The peace hangs low, when one is gripped in
                                    their heart with suffering and pain —
                                    deep peace is found in Me —
                                An active alcoholic can be active in a home and some
                                    may have bad days and some good, but as
                                    long as the basic problem is ignored, then
                                    they will suffer at the hands of one controlling
                                    the show.
                                Your world is being run by so many whose hearts
                                    are not rooted in the truth —
                                    I am the Way, the truth and the life —
                                    I am the Alpha and the Omega —
                                    I am your God —
                                Your Mother Mary came a messenger to tell you
                                    how to have peace in your hearts.

                                    the greedy, the noisy, the prideful,
                                    the aggressive ones seeking control for their

                                    for the honor and glory of God — not to promote
                                    God's Kingdom here below.

Mary speaks:         Oh my children look into the gentle eyes
                                    of your Mother —
                                    God is all Powerful —
                                    It is in trusting in God you will move ahead —

                                Oh children they broke the image of my face —

                                My face should be forever in your hearts —
                                You have grossly offended your Father in heaven —
                                You have taken a special gift and
                                    maimed my image —
                                I am a messenger sent from God —
                                You crucified my Son Jesus —
                                    you beat His Body —

                                The 5ths were for the blasphemies against me.
                                The 5ths were for the 5 wounds of my Son Jesus.

                                Now the Father gave you this heaven sent
                                    image of me your Mother and
                                    you defaced me —
                                Oh little children, you think you are
                                    mighty  —  God is Divine
                                                    God is All Powerful

                                For 9 years you ignored my desire to come
                                    and pray on the 5ths in honor of
                                    the blasphemies against me and the
                                    5 wounds of Christ. A few from this
                                    whole world came — even after I
                                    appeared on the building —

The Five Blasphemies

There are five blasphemies against Mary. 

1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.

2. Blasphemies against Her Perpetual Virginity.

3. Blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity, in refusing at the same time to recognize Her as the Mother of men.

4. The blasphemies of those who publicly seek to sow in the hearts of children indifference or scorn, or even hatred of this Immaculate Mother.

5. The offenses of those who outrage Her directly in Her holy images.

We chose to put more than just one of each of these 5ths because of they're importance.

Jesus speaks:           Some will never learn, they do not come to
                                    help Me in this mission, they come to
                                    promote themselves.
                                    There were many messengers that blocked
                                        the work of the Shepherds of Christ Movement —
                                        Fr. Carter had to deal with one
                                        promoting such visionaries —
                                        giving messages that were false
                                        for their own honor and glory.

                                    On March 22, 1994, the corner collapsed
                                        at the old seminary in minutes —
                                        one visionary said it was nothing —
                                        when Mary appeared daily to Rita
                                        Ring, one visionary said all visions had
                                        stopped, Mary continued to appear to Rita
                                        Ring despite this false message, the Father 
                                        allowed Mary to appear on the building in
                                        Clearwater for over 7 years daily to promote
                                        this ministry.

Our Focus

OUR PRIMARY FOCUS is the circulation of a newsletter.

WE CIRCULATE A SPIRITUALITY NEWSLETTER written by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J., a Jesuit Theologian with a Doctor's degree in Theology and author of 17 books, to about 75,000 priests in the world in both English and Spanish. Father Carter has been a professor of Theology for over 30 years.

Besides being sent to about 75,000 priests and bishops in the U.S.A., the newsletter is sent internationally to about 225 bishops, including 4 cardinals, who distribute copies to all of their priests, and also, in some cases, to their deacons and seminarians.

The newsletter is centered in consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It features writings regarding our union with Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit and Mary. The newsletter also stresses the Eucharist, the Church, prayer, and one's responsibility regarding the social order. The newsletter stresses sound doctrine as found in Scripture, the writings of the Popes and other Church documents. It also presents selected writings from the saints and competent priest-theologians and others.

The newsletter can be used by all for development in the spiritual life centered in consecration.

   We have described above the primary ministry of the Movement, the spirituality newsletter for priests, Shepherds of Christ. The 2nd most important ministry is the prayer chapters, whose members pray for the needs of priests and for the needs of all others also. Other ministries include promoting the act of consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary as widely as possible. Promoting this act of consecration permeates all of our ministries. We also promote the praying of the rosary, and we have a special program regarding the rosary and the act of consecration for school children. We have programs for prisons and nursing homes to encourage the residents to pray for priests, the Church, and the world. We also publish various books, cassette tapes, and other materials to help in the ongoing work of spiritual renewal.

   The mission of the Shepherds of Christ Movement is closely connected to Our Lady of Fatima's mission. We hope to play a major role in helping to bring fulfillment of the Peace Plan of Our Lady of Fatima. This plan includes:

1. Consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary—until a sufficient number of people make and live the consecration, we will not have peace in the world.

2. Praying the rosary.

3. Observing the First Saturday Devotion.

4. Making reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

   In helping to bring the Fatima message to completion, the Shepherds of Christ Movement is helping to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart. LEVELS OF COMMITMENT

There are seven levels of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

1. There are Associates who gather and pray at least once monthly as a group and also help with donations to support the Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter. They can be tremendously involved. They give as they feel they are able.

2. Apostles are members who have restricted their apostolic activity to the Shepherds of Christ. They literally act as a body of lay people who have given their lives in their present living situation to do all that they can to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart.

3. Prayer Apostles are often shut-ins, some are able to go to church and pray. They spend much of their lives praying for the Movement.

4. Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are those who spend at least two separate hours weekly before the Blessed Sacrament praying for the following:

1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

2. For the Pope.

3. For all bishops of the world.

4. For all priests.

5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.

6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this Movement to the world.

7. For all members of the Catholic Church.

8. For all members of the human family.

9. For all souls in purgatory.

5. Handmaids of the Good Shepherd are young and older women who have given their lives in community primarily to pray for the Shepherds of Christ Movement and intentions and to be special spouses of Jesus. Some have more duties than others. All have the primary duty of prayer and the desire to be a special spouse of our Lord. One of the functions of the handmaids is the involvement in praying for and helping to circulate the priestly newsletter. The handmaids are not members of a religious order.
     
     
     
   
     

6. Servants of the Good Shepherd are men who live in community with a lifestyle and purpose similar to that of the handmaids. The servants are not members of a religious order.
     
    
    

7. We wish to form a special congregation of priests who will realize their great oneness with Christ. They will be consecrated deeply to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and support the Shepherds of Christ Movement as holy priests.

   Whatever one's level of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, all share in promoting the overall goal of the Movement. This goal is to help in the spiritual renewal of the Church and the world. All varied ministries of the Movement are directed toward this purpose. The spirituality which the Shepherds of Christ Movement presents to its members and to those outside the Movement through its various ministries is very basic. This spirituality is explicitly Trinitarian and Christocentric. Our spirituality helps others, especially priests, to develop a very deep union with Jesus, this Jesus Who leads us to the Father in the Holy Spirit with Mary at our side. Our spirituality is deeply Eucharistic. We stress very much participation in the Mass and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. We also emphasize the extremely important role of prayer in the spiritual life. Devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, especially consecration to Their Hearts, is also a most important and central element. We are very much interested in helping to bring the Fatima message to completion, a message which has consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary at its very core.

         

  

Father Edward J. Carter, S.J.

Father Edward Carter, S.J. was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. A graduate of St. Xavier High School and Xavier University, both in Cincinnati, he was ordained a priest in 1962 and received his doctorate in theology from Catholic University of America four years later. He was a professor of theology at Xavier University in Cincinnati for over 30 years. He has authored 17 books in the area of Catholic spirituality. His two latest books are the priestly newsletter books, which include the newsletters from almost six years. He is devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

                                        Catholic priest.

                                    When I give messages, that is not the same
                                        as some man coming with a
                                        good idea.
                                        The devil uses this to create confusion.

Messenger:             I just want to be with You Jesus.
                                I want all in the world to recognize You as King.
                                I want all to do God's will.

Mary speaks:         I tell you to pray the rosary —
                                I tell you to consecrate your hearts to
                                the Sacred Heart and my Immaculate Heart.

2 Samuel 24: 10-25

But afterwards David’s heart misgave him for having taken a census of the people. David then said to Yahweh, ‘I have committed a grave sin by doing this. But now, Yahweh, I beg you to forgive your servant for this fault, for I have acted very foolishly.’ When, however, David got up next morning, the following message had come from Yahweh to the prophet Gad, David’s seer, ‘Go and say to David, "Yahweh says this: I offer you three things; choose which one of them I am to inflict on you." ’ So Gad went to David and said, ‘Which do you prefer: to have three years of famine befall your country; to flee for three months before a pursuing army; or to have three days of epidemic in your country? Now think, and decide how I am to answer him who sends me.’ David said to Gad, ‘I am very apprehensive . . . Better to fall into Yahweh’s hands, since his mercies are great, than to fall into the hands of men!’ So David chose the epidemic. 

    It was the time of the wheat harvest. So Yahweh unleashed an epidemic on Israel from that morning until the time determined; plague ravaged the people and, of the people from Dan to Beersheba, seventy thousand died. But when the angel stretched his hand towards Jerusalem to destroy it, Yahweh felt sorry about the calamity and said to the angel who was destroying the people, ‘Enough now! Hold your hand!’ The angel of Yahweh was standing by the threshing–floor of Araunah the Jebusite. When David saw the angel who was ravaging the people, he said to Yahweh, ‘I was the one who sinned. I was the one who acted wrongly. But these, the flock, what have they done? Let your hand lie heavy on me and on my family!’

Gad went to David that day and said, ‘Go up and raise an altar to Yahweh on the threshing–floor of Araunah the Jebusite.’ So, at Gad’s bidding, David went up, as Yahweh had ordered. When Araunah looked up and saw the king and his retinue advancing towards him—Araunah was threshing the wheat—Araunah came forward and prostrated himself on the ground at the king’s feet. ‘Why has my lord the king come to his servant?’ Araunah asked. David replied, ‘To buy the threshing–floor from you, to build an altar to Yahweh, so that the plague may be lifted from the people.’ Araunah said to David, ‘Let my lord the king take it and make what offerings he thinks fit. Here are the oxen for the burnt offering, the threshing–sleds and the oxen’s yokes for the wood. My lord the king’s servant will give the king everything. And’, Araunah said to the king, ‘may Yahweh your God accept what you offer!’ 

    ‘No,’ said the king to Araunah, ‘I shall give you a price for it; I will not offer Yahweh my God burnt offerings which have cost me nothing.’ David bought the threshing–floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. David built an altar to Yahweh and offered burnt offerings and communion sacrifices. Yahweh then took pity on the country and the plague was lifted from Israel.

May 13, 1917 

    "Do not be afraid, I will do you no harm..... I am from Heaven.

    "I have come to ask you to come here for six months in succession, on the 13th day, at the same hour. Later on, I will tell you who I am and what I want

    "Are you willing to offer yourselves to God and bear all the sufferings He wills to send you, as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners?

    "Pray the Rosary every day in order to obtain peace for the world, and the end of the war." ⁽⁸⁾

  

June 13, 1917

    "God wishes you to remain in the world for some time because He wants to use you to establish in the world the devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by myself to adorn His throne." ⁽¹⁰⁾

  

July 13, 1917

    "During her appearance in July, Our Lady, in answer to Lucia's plea, promised that in October she would work a great miracle so that all might believe and know who she was. Again, the Mother of God told the children to sacrifice themselves for sinners and to say many times, especially when making a sacrifice, this prayer: "O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of poor sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." ⁽¹¹⁾

    "During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:

    "You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

    "The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. ⁽¹²⁾

    "To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....

    "But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." ⁽¹³⁾

  

August 19, 1917

    She told them she was greatly displeased by the action of the mayor. As a result, the miracle promised for October would not be as impressive as originally planned. ⁽¹⁵⁾

 

September 13, 1917

    More than 30,000 people were present in September, and saw a shower of mysterious white petals fall to within 10 feet of the ground before dissolving into the air. Many also saw the globe of light bearing the Lady come to rest atop the tree, and the branches bend as though someone were standing on them. Later, they saw the cloud depart into the east, from whence it had come.⁽¹⁶⁾

  

October 13, 1917

    I am the Lady of the Rosary. I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and to ask pardon for their sins. They must not offend Our Lord any more, for He is already too grievously offended by the sins of men. People must say the Rosary. Let them continue saying it every day.⁽¹⁷⁾

    While the people in attendance were beholding the great Miracle of the Sun, the three young visionaries, and they alone, were privileged to see striking visions in the heavens:

    As Our Lady had promised, St. Joseph had come with the Holy Family and had blessed the world. Then, Our Lady appeared as the Mother of Sorrows, accompanied by her Divine Son, Who also blessed the world. Finally, Lucy had seen the Blessed Virgin, dressed in the brown robes of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth, holding a brown Scapular in her hand, with her infant Son upon her knee. However, in none of these visions had any of the figures spoken to the children. ⁽¹⁸⁾

    Besides the messages associated with the major Fatima apparitions, there were other revelations given by Our Lady. Before Jacinta died, she told of other messages given her (during her illness) by Mary:

    More souls go to Hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason.

    Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much.

    Many marriages are not good; they do not please Our Lord and are not of God.

    Priests must be pure, very pure. They should not busy themselves with anything except what concerns the Church and souls. The disobedience of priests, to their superiors and to the Holy Father, is very displeasing to Our Lord.

    I can no longer restrain the hand of my Divine Son from striking the world with just punishments for its many crimes.

    If the government of a country leaves the Church in peace and gives liberty to our Holy Religion, it will be blessed by God.

    Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask grace from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her. ⁽¹⁹⁾

1 Kings 1: 28-37

King David then spoke. ‘Call Bathsheba to me,’ he said. And she came into the king’s presence and stood before him. Then the king swore this oath, ‘As Yahweh lives, who has delivered me from all adversity, just as I swore to you by Yahweh, God of Israel, that your son Solomon should be king after me and take my place on my throne, so I shall bring it about this very day.’ Bathsheba knelt down, prostrated herself on her face before the king and said, ‘May my lord King David live for ever!’ Then King David said, ‘Summon Zadok the priest, the prophet Nathan and Benaiah son of Jehoiada.’ So they came into the king’s presence. ‘Take the royal guard with you,’ said the king, ‘mount my son Solomon on my own mule and escort him down to Gihon. There Zadok the priest and the prophet Nathan are to anoint him king of Israel; then sound the trumpet and shout, "Long live King Solomon!" Then you are to escort him back, and he is then to assume my throne and be king in place of me, for he is the man whom I have appointed as ruler of Israel and of Judah.’ Benaiah son of Jehoiada answered the king. ‘Amen!’ he said. ‘And may Yahweh, God of my lord the king, confirm it! As Yahweh has been with my lord the king, so may he be with Solomon and make his throne even greater than the throne of my lord King David!’

1 Kings 17: 1-6  

Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, ‘By the life of Yahweh, God of Israel, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain these coming years unless I give the word.’

The word of Yahweh came to him, ‘Go away from here, go east and hide by the torrent of Cherith, east of the Jordan. You can drink from the stream, and I have ordered the ravens to bring you food there.’ So he set out and did as Yahweh had said; he went and stayed by the torrent of Cherith, east of the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread in the morning and meat in the evening, and he quenched his thirst at the stream.
