March 2, 2009

                    What am I looking for
when I get pressed on because
I expected a person to fill
my every wish — God put us here
to be like a pipe — open and running
in which our lives are lived to
share His love to help build the
                Kingdom —

I can give into 'my little child of
the past', wanting my own way and
not using right reason. My actions
                should be determined by what
is God's will for me. If I give
into 'my little child of the past'
                demanding their own way
satan can continually try to manipulate
me in doing things that is not God's will.

I have a free will to do God's
will and be holy or to rebel
against God's will like Eve in
                the garden.

                    Looking through my distorted
                vision, clouded by pride,
                jealousy, envy sets me up
to not see through the eyes of God and
                use right reason to determine
                my actions —

                    Jesus shows us His selfless
surrender — Jesus died for our
                sins. God calls us
to die to our sinful ways. We should
                never punishing others.
                'The little child of the
                past' wants control to demand
their own way. 'The little child
of the past' wants affection. Many
                times running after another
provoking the other to get the
                attention they want. They
think if they tell the other
                the other will come running.
                If this does not work
                they do provoking things,
                run, and then hold out
                blocking work, blocking the
                vision they should see in
themselves and sitting on a "pity-pot"
                waiting for the attention that
they expect another to give them.
It is 'the little child of the past'
                using some needed work or
                services, withholding that and
                demanding the other respond
                to their forceful childish behavior.

"La, La, La, La, La, La —

I have what you need — come and
catch me — while I make you
                dance"

How many divorces are there when
married partners are pressed on by the
devil and want their partner to make
them happy — run after them — and when
the person they are married to would
be choked by their possessive, infantile
demands — the marriage is dissolved
because he or she can't handle the other
person wanting a "mop" to dance
                with. Should the married partner
give into a screaming baby who
never learned — ONLY GOD can
                make us happy"

Say the married partner tries —
is nice — tries to love more — give
in more — then the demanding baby
wants more and more and more —

Right reason and a free will —
rooted in the fact God is the only
one who can make us happy and God
calls us to love each other, to work
together to do God's work — raise
children. If a man is to be a priest, he
must be obedient to the Church and
                his Bishop.

Eve rebelled against the Plan of
God — she wanted to be equal to
God — God gave her a free will to
do His will, but she chose to
disobey God — being holy means
we obey God's laws, we obey those
                over us —

God has called us to help, through
                our obedience and structure, to
follow the Church and help have
                greater order as we contribute
order to the world that is rocked
                with disorder and disobedience
                to God —

When Adam and Eve sinned then
                disorder entered the world

                    God flooded the earth at
the time of Noah because of this
disorder — the devil wants us to
blame others for our sins and not
                take responsibility for them —

Sin, Fr. Carter says is a refusal
to love — Serious sin he says
is a radical refusal to love —

                    Venial sin is a partial
refusal to love - Fr. Carter says

                    The most obvious personal
                relationship that is affected by
sin is between God and the
                sinner.

                    Hell is total isolation —

When one sins they close in,
Fr. Carter says, become more and more
isolated — what they thought through
                pride, jealousy, lust, envy, would
make them happy — hurts their
                relationship with God —

Only God can make us happy —
so this is misery — hating instead
of loving — living in a sin of hate
                is experiencing some of the
                isolation of hell — depriving
oneself of the very thing that can
                bring them happiness —

We cannot be happy and refuse
                to love — the temporariness
of what we think appears to be
happiness when we sin — soon leads us to misery —
heaven is to be possessed by God —

We must love God, others and ourselves
                    appropriately to reach
                    greater happiness here on
earth and to have this intimate
                    union we were created for
                    with God that brings us
                    happiness

1 John 4: 17-21

Love comes to its perfection in us
when we can face
    the Day of Judgement fearlessly,
because even in this world
we have become as he is.
In love there is no room for fear,
but perfect love drives out fear,
because fear implies punishment
and no one who is afraid
has come to perfection in love.
Let us love, then,
because he first loved us.
Anyone who says ‘I love God’
and hates his brother,
is a liar,
since whoever does not love the brother
    whom he can see
cannot love God whom he has not seen.
Indeed this is the commandment
    we have received from him,
that whoever loves God,
    must also love his brother.

Now look at the sins of the world —
                    rebelliousness against God's
                    law

So Mary appeared on the building
in Clearwater and asked us to
pray for the sins of the world —
to pray for our priests and the
Church, that brings us the Mass and
                        to pray for the world

God wants this reparation we do
in praying 4 days a month,
on the 5th and daily from
                    this building —

God calls us to this and

The Four days before the exposed
                    Eucharist can help bring
                    down grace for the
                    priests, the Church and the
                    world and to help make
                    reparation to God

A person that sins by not loving
                God, others and themselves becomes
more and more miserable and they can
become like a stone - heart
                wanting someone to run
to them to make them feel
                better in their misery —

My message for this earth is
how much Jesus loves us —

When we sing and pray in
the pew on these 8 days we
                are loving —

                    The person that starts to
                isolate and turn inward —
                criticizes rather than loving,
going out — they want the opposite
                of loving — they provoke
people to hurt others and then
act angry at others because they are
not serving and loving them —

Hell is a cold, dark place —
                you get no love

                    Heaven is to be possessed
by God — love itself, but we
lived a life learning to love
                going out of ourselves —

The selfish person turns in —
their heart becomes like stone —
they want others to come to
them and serve them — love them
                while they are mean, demanding,
                punishing —

In hell there is no love

                We don't determine how we
                    act by how we think
                    others are treating us —

                Little children show jealousy —
some bite over a toy to
                    get their own way —

                Some children — won't give
                    in —
                    they hurt others —
                    do things behind mom's back

Little sister may be pushed off
                    a chair backward because
                    big sister isn't nice

Big sister is going to suffer
                    because who wants a friend
that hurts them and is selfish

We are here to learn how to love —
                    God gives us a lifetime
                    So somebody says —

                    Well - I won't love and
I expect you to love me
while I'm mean to you —
                        - unpredictable,
                        - make false promises —
                        - passive-aggressive games —
                        - secrets about the truth —
                        - make myself unavailable
                            to work through problems

Who loses when we fail to love —

We do first — it hurts our
                    relationship with God

We were commanded to love —
                    God and others as ourselves

That is what makes us happy

Not loving — makes us isolate more and
more - not working in love
                                with others

We are going against the plan
                    of the Creator

                Not loving deprives ourselves
of the one thing that can
                    make us happy —

                Loving                Not Loving

                Selfless                Selfish
                Serving                Punishing
                                           wanting to be served

                Going out of         Going inward
                   ourselves

I used to teach a class
for Fr. Carter and it was
                on walking hand-in-hand and
                loving and working together —

I would go in and say what would
you like in a boy/girl friend

                They liked                        They disliked

                honesty                            cheating
                keeping their word            unpredictability
                loving                              selfishness
being on time                    making them wait
                predictable
                kind                                 angry
caring for them                 wanting their way

                etc.

                When they were done

                I said Jesus is love

                Jesus is the Perfect friend
                Jesus is the Perfect lover

                They wanted a loving friend
                    most like Jesus —

A person judges what they do
                by trying to live according
                to God's will —

Jesus obeyed the will of the Father —

                We don't judge our actions
                    by whether others make
us angry — so we sit
                    miserable trying to get
them to run to us while
                    we hold out —

                Not living loving lives is
                    against the greatest commandment —

Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

                Are we preparing ourselves to

Go to
heaven

BE HOLY
OBEY GOD
LIVE LOVING LIVES

Are we preparing ourselves at all
                    BE UNLOVING
                    manipulative
                    rebellious

                Heaven                            Hell

                Love                                isolating
                Unity                               no love
                Obedience                        hatred
                                                       anger
                                                       unhappy - never have God
                                                       disobedience

                    A person who is insecure
                can provoke others — act
angry — just to get another
                to pay attention and come
                running - because they are
                demanding attention - like a
baby crying needs a dirty diaper
                removed —

For an adult to provoke another
to get love is not right reasoning.
First of all, the other adult cannot
make a person happy - only
                God can do this —

                    People that are insecure
should not use their work —
                withholding services rendered/
or work done - as power to
                get attention - because they
                are insecure

Going in and out of doors should
not be like the baby whose
mama left for work — they
                    screamed frantically for 1/2
                    hour - then punished the
                    mother by being naughty when
                    she returned from work for
                    going to work

                    These are really sick
                childish games - some adults
play — If a married person does
it over and over again — this
                game playing — another adult
                trying to deal with it
                could be faced with
                a dilemma of surviving
                these sick games —

                    Adults are to grow in
love - to be other focused —
                not play childish games for
                attention.

What we do is based on doing
                    God's will — not games
                    people play to manipulate
                    us

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

(1)

John 14: 6

I am the Way; I am Truth and Life....

(2) We want the vision of God —
        this is our goal.

(3) Man is conceived with original sin —

(4) Adam lost grace and the infused
virtues for himself and the whole human
    race by his sin.

(5) Christ is the New Adam.
The Central Mystery of Christianity is the
mystery of the Incarnation of the
    Son of God —

(6) God sent His Son into the world to save
    men from their sins —

(7) The Word of God, the Second Person of
    the Most Blessed Trinity became
man and dwelt amongst us for
    our salvation.

(8) Jesus is a Divine Person with two natures
    human and Divine.

(9) This is a mystery, for God so loved the
    world.

(10) God the Father chose and fashioned a woman
    for His Son.
    Mary was conceived without sin.

Colossians 3: 12-17

As the chosen of God, then, the holy people whom he loves, you are to be clothed in heartfelt compassion, in generosity and humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with one another; forgive each other if one of you has a complaint against another. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same. Over all these clothes, put on love, the perfect bond. And may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it is for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.

Let the Word of Christ, in all its richness, find a home with you. Teach each other, and advise each other, in all wisdom. With gratitude in your hearts sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God; and whatever you say or do, let it be in the name of the Lord Jesus, in thanksgiving to God the Father through him.

The Visitation

Luke 1: 39-45

Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’

(1) God made Mary the perfect woman
because He chose her to be the
    Mother of God.

(2) Adam and Eve were rebellious.
    Adam and Eve were disobedient.
Christ is the essence of holiness.

    HOLY <———————> Rebellious

(3) Christ chose the stable to enter
    into our lives.

(4) Mary went to her cousin Elizabeth —
    Elizabeth was thought barren.

(5) From the Hail Mary we say
... and blessed is the fruit of thy womb —

(6) Hail Mary full of grace

In baptism we receive a sharing
        in God's life.

(7) The Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell
    in the graced, baptized soul.

(8) May Jesus the Word made flesh
        and Splendor of the Father
        dwell in your heart —

(9) May we have peace, love, joy and
        infinite graces.

(10) Nothing is Impossible with God.

The Birth of Jesus

Luke 2: 15-20

Now it happened that when the angels had gone from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let us go to Bethlehem and see this event which the Lord has made known to us.’ So they hurried away and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. When they saw the child they repeated what they had been told about him, and everyone who heard it was astonished at what the shepherds said to them. As for Mary, she treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds went back glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as they had been told.

(1) May God lead us by the light of faith —

Matthew 2: 2

asking, ‘Where is the infant king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose and have come to do him homage.’

(2) Mary was conceived sinless — Mary
    was a descendent of Adam.

(3) May Jesus the Word made flesh and
    Splendor of the Father
    dwell in your heart —

(4) In the Incarnation we say
that there are two natures but
    only one Person.

(5) In the Person of Christ, Son of
God, there are two natures, one
    Divine, the other human.

(6) Christ is God.

(7) Christ is God-made-Man.

(8) We are to be grateful for this
        awesome gift and ponder the
        mystery of God-made-Man.

(9) Jesus is the Light of the World.

(10) Jesus is King of heaven and
        earth.

The Presentation in the Temple

Luke 2: 25-35

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting
        your servant go in peace
    as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
    which you have made ready
        in the sight of the nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too—so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.’

(1) Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet

(2) And a sword shall pierce your
        heart, Mary.

(3) The Lord will fill our eyes with
light if we love and serve Him.

(4) Sing: The King of Glory

(5)

Psalm 47: 10-11

Both your name and your praise, God,
are over the whole wide world.

Your right hand is full of saving justice,
    Mount Zion rejoices,
the daughters of Judah delight
    because of your saving justice.

(6) Let our eyes see —
        We are blind —
        Mary suffered for our blindness.

(7) Mary calls to us to respond to
the call of her Son, Jesus.

(8) They offered a pair of turtle doves —

(9) The Holy Spirit was upon Simeon.

(10)

Luke 2: 34

Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed —

Finding of Jesus in the Temple

Luke 2: 41-52

Every year his parents used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual. When the days of the feast were over and they set off home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it. They assumed he was somewhere in the party, and it was only after a day’s journey that they went to look for him among their relations and acquaintances. When they failed to find him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere.

It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.

(1) Mary is searching for her little
        children in the world today.

(2) Mary wants to lead them to Jesus.

(3) Mary is the Mother of all children.

(4) Mary is our spiritual Mother.

(5)

(6) God is kind and generous in His
        love of us.

(7) God grants us mercy.

(8) Oh Holy Spirit lead the strayed
ones home to the Heart of Jesus.

(9) The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are
        our little heaven on earth.

(10) We in the Shepherds of Christ believe
as we spread the consecration to
the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
there will be peace in the world —

Yes — All the ends of the earth have seen
the power of God.

God has called us to be united as a family in
the Shepherds of Christ.

This is a vocation — to pray deeply for
the priests, the Church and the world and
to help support the Newsletter and the
Ministries.

Remember the image of Our Lady
of Clearwater on the building. We have
very special Fatima statues so you can
have a special place of prayer in your
homes, praying the rosary for your family
and for the priests, the Church and the
world. If you are interested in these
very special Fatima/Clearwater statues
e-mail me with your phone number
and address
info@sofc.org.

     Those using the special statues
will be united to us in a special way —
We want you to pray the Shepherds of
Christ prayers for the priests, the Church
and the world from your special place
in your home.

When people have set up a prayer corner/niche
with this statue, Fatima/Clearwater glass, they have
reported that their families have received special
blessings. With this statue it is important to pray
the prayers in the red prayer manual and consecrate
your home and family to the Sacred Heart and
Immaculate Heart.

Call Sheila or Doris about statues or go to China or
Clearwater.
