Congratulations to

Pope Francis!

Dear Friend,

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

Jesus asked us to finish one room in the priest house, so a priest could stay there. We have been working on this room for 6 months. We need $3,000 for the carpet, shades and furniture. Could anyone help us with a donation for the priest house to complete this room?

We have been working on the priest house for 6 years. Jesus would like a priest be able to stay there.

Thanks
Rita & Doris

                March 22, 2013

Jesus: I suffered for your untruths –
I suffered for your malice –
I suffered for your lies –

Men were watching the tomb –

The stone had been rolled up to block
                    Me –

Today the corner fell off Our Lady of the
                    Holy Spirit Center –
Do you see the pictures –

Can you focus on how I came
                    forth from the tomb –

I rose from the dead –

Despite the stone rolled before it –
                Despite the soldiers

                Christ's body was glorified –

Psalm 118:22-24

The stone which the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
This is Yahweh’s doing,
and we marvel at it.
This is the day which Yahweh has made,
a day for us to rejoice and be glad.

                R. The body was missing from the tomb –

Light came from every where when
                    Christ rose –

Light we cannot even fathom –

Christ rose from the dead –

Jesus: The just man is opposed by the
                    evil man –

Why did men put Me to death?

                Why did men whip Me?

I healed the sick, I taught them
                    love and
                Why did they whip Me?

The just suffer at the hands of the
wicked – the wicked do not
                    find rest –

                R. Jesus was innocent –

His beauty was beauty even as
                    they whipped Him –

He saw Mary – His tender eyes –
                    caked in blood –

                What was the truth?

                Jesus rose from the dead.

Jesus rose from the dead –

                What is justice?
                What is truth?

Jesus died and He rose from the dead!
                What is truth?

Jesus died and He rose from the dead!

                A Passion for truth.

Jesus says: I am the way, the
                    truth and the life.

Jesus: The just man suffers the lies
and deception of the wicked –

                R. Jesus burst forth in glorious
                    splendor –

                Jesus was innocent –

                The crucified Jesus

Rejoice, oh men, Jesus has died
                    and He has risen –

                Jesus was innocent –
Jesus shed His Blood for me.
                Jesus died for me –

There was the darkened sky when
                    He died –
                    claps of thunder –

Jesus died a brutal death for
                    our sins –

Jesus: I was beaten, raw, bloodied,
                    crowned with thorns –

Jesus died on the cross –

Jesus' lifeless body was held in
                    Mary's arms –

The light of the resurrection was
a light no man could fathom –

                R. The Light of the resurrection –
a light no man could fathom –

Jesus performed His first miracle at Cana.

John 2: 1-10

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’

                R. Jesus taught them in parables

                Jesus healed the people

Mark 2: 3-5, 12

when some people came bringing him a paralytic carried by four men, but as they could not get the man to him through the crowd, they stripped the roof over the place where Jesus was; and when they had made an opening, they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic lay. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, ‘My child, your sins are forgiven.’

And the man got up, and at once picked up his stretcher and walked out in front of everyone, so that they were all astonished and praised God saying, ‘We have never seen anything like this.’

                R. Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead

John 11: 32-35, 39, 41-44

    Mary went to Jesus, and as soon as she saw him she threw herself at his feet, saying, ‘Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.’ At the sight of her tears, and those of the Jews who had come with her, Jesus was greatly distressed, and with a profound sigh he said, ‘Where have you put him?’ They said, ‘Lord, come and see.’ Jesus wept;

Jesus said, ‘Take the stone away.’ Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to him, ‘Lord, by now he will smell; this is the fourth day since he died.’ So they took the stone away. Then Jesus lifted up his eyes and said:

Father, I thank you for hearing my prayer.
I myself knew that you hear me always,
            but I speak
for the sake of all these who are standing around me,
so that they may believe it was you who sent me.

When he had said this, he cried in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The dead man came out, his feet and hands bound with strips of material, and a cloth over his face. Jesus said to them, ‘Unbind him, let him go free.’

Many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what he did, believed in him,

                R. Palm Sunday –

Jesus came riding on a Donkey

Mark 11: 7-11

Then they took the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on its back, and he mounted it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others greenery which they had cut in the fields. And those who went in front and those who followed were all shouting, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who is coming in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming kingdom of David our father! Hosanna in the highest heavens!’ He entered Jerusalem and went into the Temple; and when he had surveyed it all, as it was late by now, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.

                R. Holy Thursday –

                    The Last Supper

Luke 22: 11-14

and tell the owner of the house, "The Master says this to you: Where is the room for me to eat the Passover with my disciples?" The man will show you a large upper room furnished with couches. Make the preparations there.' They set off and found everything as he had told them and prepared the Passover. When the time came he took his place at table, and the apostles with him.

Mark 14: 22-24

And as they were eating he took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to them. ‘Take it,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them, and all drank from it, and he said to them, ‘This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many.

                R. Agony in the Garden

Matthew 26: 36-41

Then Jesus came with them to a plot of land called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, 'Stay here while I go over there to pray.' He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him. And he began to feel sadness and anguish.

Then he said to them, 'My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here and stay awake with me.' And going on a little further he fell on his face and prayed. 'My Father,' he said, 'if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.' He came back to the disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, 'So you had not the strength to stay awake with me for one hour? Stay awake, and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.'

                R. Jesus took the cross –

Jesus began the journey to Calvary

John 19: 12-13

From that moment Pilate was anxious to set him free, but the Jews shouted, ‘If you set him free you are no friend of Caesar’s; anyone who makes himself king is defying Caesar.’ Hearing these words, Pilate had Jesus brought out, and seated him on the chair of judgement at a place called the Pavement, in Hebrew Gabbatha.

                R. Jesus died on the cross

Luke 23: 33

When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left.

John 19: 28-30

After this, Jesus knew that everything had now been completed and, so that the scripture should be completely fulfilled, he said:

    I am thirsty

A jar full of sour wine stood there; so, putting a sponge soaked in the wine on a hyssop stick, they held it up to his mouth. After Jesus had taken the wine he said, ‘It is fulfilled’; and bowing his head he gave up his spirit.

                R. Jesus was laid in the tomb

Matthew 27: 57-60

When it was evening, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, called Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be handed over. So Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean shroud and put it in his own new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock. He then rolled a large stone across the entrance of the tomb and went away.

                R. Jesus rose from the dead

John 20: 30-31

There were many other signs that Jesus worked in the sight of the disciples, but they are not recorded in this book. These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing this you may have life through his name.

                R. The Empty tomb

Luke 24: 1-6

On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, but on entering they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in brilliant clothes suddenly appeared at their side. Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, ‘Why look among the dead for someone who is alive? He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee:

Matthew 28: 8-10

Filled with awe and great joy the women came quickly away from the tomb and ran to tell his disciples.

And suddenly, coming to meet them, was Jesus. ‘Greetings,’ he said. And the women came up to him and, clasping his feet, they did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers that they must leave for Galilee; there they will see me.’

Sing Song: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord

                R. Jesus appeared on the way to Emmaus

Easter Night - Jesus appeared in
                    the Upper Room

Luke 24: 36-47

They were still talking about all this when he himself stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you!’ In a state of alarm and fright, they thought they were seeing a ghost. But he said, ‘Why are you so agitated, and why are these doubts stirring in your hearts? See by my hands and my feet that it is I myself. Touch me and see for yourselves; a ghost has no flesh and bones as you can see I have.’ And as he said this he showed them his hands and his feet. Their joy was so great that they still could not believe it, as they were dumbfounded; so he said to them, ‘Have you anything here to eat?’ And they offered him a piece of grilled fish, which he took and ate before their eyes.

Then he told them, ‘This is what I meant when I said, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, in the Prophets and in the Psalms, was destined to be fulfilled.’ He then opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and he said to them, ‘So it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that, in his name, repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

                R. Thomas sees the Risen Lord

John 20: 24-28

Thomas, called the Twin, who was one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, ‘We have seen the Lord,’ but he answered, ‘Unless I can see the holes that the nails made in his hands and can put my finger into the holes they made, and unless I can put my hand into his side, I refuse to believe.’ Eight days later the disciples were in the house again and Thomas was with them. The doors were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said. Then he spoke to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; look, here are my hands. Give me your hand; put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving any more but believe.’ Thomas replied, ‘My Lord and my God!’

                R. The Disciples go fishing and
                    Jesus appeared

                Jesus ascended into heaven –

Luke 24: 50-53

Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.

1 Corinthians 15: 17-22

and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is pointless and you have not, after all, been released from your sins. In addition, those who have fallen asleep in Christ are utterly lost. If our hope in Christ has been for this life only, we are of all people the most pitiable.

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first–fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life;

                R. Jesus really rose from the dead.
By the resurrection from the dead
He shows us He is the Son of God.

He shows us His life was a victory.

Jesus has conquered both sin and death.

Jesus has the power to give eternal
                    life –

Jesus was claiming to be God.

Matthew 26: 62-68

The high priest then rose and said to him, 'Have you no answer to that? What is this evidence these men are bringing against you?' But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to him, 'I put you on oath by the living god to tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.' Jesus answered him, 'It is you who say it. But, I tell you that from this time onward you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.' Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, 'He has blasphemed. What need of witnesses have we now? There! You have just heard the blasphemy. What is your opinion? They answered, 'He deserves to die."

Then they spat in his face and hit him with their fists; others said as they struck him, 'Prophesy to us, Christ! Who hit you then?'

John 8: 57-58

The Jews then said, ‘You are not fifty yet, and you have seen Abraham!’ Jesus replied:

In all truth I tell you,
before Abraham ever was,
I am.

                R. Jesus is the 2nd Person of the
                    Blessed Trinity –
                    Jesus is God!!

Jesus on lots of occasions said
He would rise from the dead

Matthew 12: 38-40

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees spoke up. ‘Master,’ they said, ‘we should like to see a sign from you.’ He replied, ‘It is an evil and unfaithful generation that asks for a sign! The only sign it will be given is the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah remained in the belly of the sea–monster for three days and three nights, so will the Son of man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

                Jesus speaks:

                    I was unmercifully scourged,
I was forced to carry the cross,
                    I was crowned with thorns,
I was nailed to the cross
I was crucified to My death on
                        the cross.

Matthew 27: 50-53

But Jesus, again crying out in a loud voice, yielded up his spirit.

And suddenly, the veil of the Sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, the rocks were split, the tombs opened and the bodies of many holy people rose from the dead, and these, after his resurrection, came out of the tombs, entered the holy city and appeared to a number of people.

John 19: 31-37

It was the Day of Preparation, and to avoid the bodies’ remaining on the cross during the Sabbath—since that Sabbath was a day of special solemnity—the Jews asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken away. Consequently the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with him and then of the other. When they came to Jesus, they saw he was already dead, and so instead of breaking his legs one of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water. This is the evidence of one who saw it—true evidence, and he knows that what he says is true—and he gives it so that you may believe as well. Because all this happened to fulfil the words of scripture:

    Not one bone of his will be broken;

and again, in another place scripture says:

They will look to the one

        whom they have pierced.

Jesus: The soldiers guarded My tomb –

Luke 24: 1-13

On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, but on entering they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in brilliant clothes suddenly appeared at their side. Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, ‘Why look among the dead for someone who is alive? He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee: that the Son of man was destined to be handed over into the power of sinful men and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.’ And they remembered his words.

And they returned from the tomb and told all this to the Eleven and to all the others. The women were Mary of Magdala, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. And the other women with them also told the apostles, but this story of theirs seemed pure nonsense, and they did not believe them.

Peter, however, went off to the tomb, running. He bent down and looked in and saw the linen cloths but nothing else; he then went back home, amazed at what had happened.

Now that very same day, two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem,

Peter and John found the tomb empty –

                March 21, 2013

Jesus: When the just man speaks, the devil acts
                    to oppose the truth.

I am the way, the truth and the life.

                Life is in Me.

I want men to live in the truth.

The devil works in pride, argumentation,
                    negating the truth and reality.

Men are called to their vocation –
to give their talents freely and in love –
others are to rejoice in the God - given
talents of others contributing to the
                    building of the Kingdom.

                May 13, 1993 – 20 years ago I gave this message –

Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Cling to Me

May 13, 1993

Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.

You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.

When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.

I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.

I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.

end of May 13, 1993

Jesus: Men are to give themselves to God.

A man deeply rooted in God is aware of his
place and is not frozen because of
                    abuse and wounds.
He is always seeking to grow more deeply
in his life in Me –
He seeks to be rooted more and more in God.
A man went out to a forest and he saw
the trees there – A forest is plentiful with
                    trees.

I give you, your lives rooted in Me.
I call you to be as the forest.

The trees are in the forest and they are
                    as one.

The members of the body are one.

The finger is supported by the systems in
the body – blood flows through it –
the heart pumps fresh blood, bringing
oxygen – the body is renewed by the
                    life source –

Do you know, I am the vine, you are the
branches. I give life to the body.
A toe does not leave the body to be a
                        "KING TOE" on its own.

You are to know, I feed the body with
                        Myself.

Eating animal flesh, fish, foliage gives life
to the body of man. Life of animals
are sacrificed to sustain the living
                        man.

Life in the sea, the fish eat other fish to give
life – there is this balance –
                    life for life –

Jesus: In baptism I give you a sharing in My life –
I feed this life with Myself.
                    I raise you up.
I elevate your knowing and loving capacity.
In the Eucharist, I feed that life with
                    My Body and My Blood.
                    I feed you with Myself.

The more you come to the Eucharist –
the more I feed you with Myself.
                    Life is rooted in Me.

John 8: 51-59

In all truth I tell you,
whoever keeps my word
will never see death.

The Jews said, ‘Now we know that you are possessed. Abraham is dead, and the prophets are dead, and yet you say, "Whoever keeps my word will never know the taste of death." Are you greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? The prophets are dead too. Who are you claiming to be?’ Jesus answered:

If I were to seek my own glory
my glory would be worth nothing;
in fact, my glory
   is conferred by the Father,
by the one of whom you say,
   ‘He is our God,’
although you do not know him.
But I know him,
and if I were to say, ‘I do not know him,’
I should be a liar, as you yourselves are.
But I do know him, and I keep his word.
Your father Abraham rejoiced
to think that he would see my Day;
he saw it and was glad.

The Jews then said, ‘You are not fifty yet, and you have seen Abraham!’ Jesus replied:

In all truth I tell you,
before Abraham ever was,
I am.

At this they picked up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself and left the Temple.

                R. Christ had enemies

                Why did men hate Jesus.
Jesus spoke of love and forgiveness and
yet they beat Him, many hated Him, they put
                    Him to death.

                Why did they torture Jesus?

When the just man speaks of truth – the devil
wants men to oppose him –
                    the devil wants argumentation –

When Jesus spoke the truth they wanted to
                    kill Him.

                The devil wants argumentation.

The devil wants opposition, contradiction of the
                    truth –

The devil wants an argument –

When a just man is speaking the truth –
                    speaking in reality,
the devil wants to evoke an argument
so he can take the focus off the
                    building of the Kingdom.

A person can think his importance comes from
others recognizing him and in this shallow
recognition of himself, he can always use
innocent times to try to raise himself
                    above others.

A man was telling of his satisfaction at a
job he did for the Church –

Another competitive man, focused on raising
up, began to tell how he knew more
than the first man who was called to the task.

A man was sent from afar, so eager to be there
and worship God with others in love –
again the man sought to discredit the man
coming from afar, as a means to raise
                    himself up.

God has called us to a vocation. Some men
are as fingers, others as toes, all are
rooted in the body – working for the functioning
                    of the whole –

Why would the finger try to discredit the toe –
they are to work together for the functioning
                    of the whole.

To know the message Jesus appeared to give me
                    Tuesday night was this –

Jesus: I want My Blue Books to circulate to help in
the renewal of the Church and the world.
Knowing God loves you so much and wants
                        to live IN you.

You are given a sharing in My life in
baptism and I feed this life with
                            Myself in the Holy Eucharist.
                            You "Eat My Body"
                            You "Drink My Blood"

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in the graced
baptized soul. I feed this life with Myself.
You are to be rooted in Me.
                        ROOTED –

The person focused on their self-worth before others
can seek to raise themselves up above all
others, at all times. His focus is himself.

The man rooted in Me, is surrendering, living
as God operates from him in the world.
His importance is in being all God wants
                    Him to be.

He is not blown like the wind, by negative
                    thoughts about himself, or inordinate
attachments to raising himself up above
others for validating his own worth.
He knows his worth as loved so dearly
by Me, I died for him and I rose to give
him a sharing in My life.

He knows the Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in his
graced baptized soul. He is meek, not combatal,
he is loving and seeing through the
eyes of God, the calling he is given.
Living this calling as God has given him
gives him a feeling of satisfaction, knowing
he is serving God, as God has called him.

A man can be caught up in his thoughts about
himself all day – how he is – then when
with others seek to raise up –

A man of God, listens, when God calls him and
learns as St. Joseph lived his vocation,
                    protecting, defending and lovingly doing
                    God's will following God's Plan.

Following in the footprints of Jesus.

The world wants competition with men's brothers,
many want to be chiefs – they learn to
see through these eyes, how can I raise
                    above?

The question is "How does God call me in this
                    vocation, to serve Him"

A man can think about this –
people were married and talking –
a mother talking to her children –
You are on the outside looking in
what do you do with your solitude –
Do you realize your union with God –
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in
                        your graced baptized soul –
are you rooted in God –
Is it a blessing to be alone and still
                        loving, deeply loving in your
union with God and others not
                        physically present with you?

                Union with God –

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

Jesus: Being rooted in God is what brings unity to men.

Jesus: Where is your heart? Rooted in God?

Are you solo - when by yourself and when
you get with men clumsy because
your heart has lost the love it needs
to have every second, every moment,
                    working God's plan –
                    rooted in love –
                    rooted in Him –

Life is not life if it is not rooted in
                    God.

                It is mere existence!!

How do you go in and out of doors?

Do you walk in and expect to raise to the
top, when people are working in unity
                    to build My Kingdom, but
you expect to run things, when things
are working and it is peace and unity and
                    love –

How are you doing God's work in a
                    community?

Do you keep working for God or
                    become self-focused, self-centered
and hurt the progress with your
inability to join in and unite with
                    what is working –
                    join in, in peace –

Work as God wants it to be obedient to
                    God's Plan –

                Focus on My Passion

Sorrowful Mysteries

Before the Tabernacle

                The Agony in the Garden

Jesus: This is the most intimate rosary you will have with Me, My beloved ones. This is the first Friday. I come to you in a special way and I give to you abundant graces to join ever closer to My burning love.

1. Jesus: Put aside all of the distractions in your minds and in your hearts and focus totally on Me, My burning love. My Heart on-fire for love of You.

2. Jesus: You carry out My life, death and resurrection in your lives. As you live this day you experience My life in your life. Look back over all the sufferings that you have experienced in your lives and know that in all of those sufferings there were great gifts given from Me to you. My beloved ones, as you share in My sufferings, you know Me more and more. Think back to the deepest suffering that you have experienced and in that suffering, walk with Me through this rosary, through the Passion. Each mystery, a mystery and insight to God's love. Focus on Me and I will reveal to you many mysteries of My deep love for you.

3. R. He knelt in the Garden and He took upon Himself all the sins of all men from all time. Think of all the sins from the very beginning to this day and Jesus knew all men's sins in His Heart. He was wrapped in such agony and His sweat became as great drops of blood upon the ground. How senseless is this world today that it is caught up so much in the world and the Almighty God is alive and is here. Who hears the words that He speaks - the words of His love - the words for which the soul craves? Many ears have turned deaf and He is calling out to us, His beloved ones, to live His love in our lives. Through our example we preach the mightiest lesson of His love. We are being called to be saints, not be worldly. Let our hearts be filled with such love for God and others. God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in the graced baptized soul.

4. Hail Mary
5. Hail Mary
6. Hail Mary
7. Hail Mary
8. Hail Mary

9. R. In marriage, love is what every man promises to every woman, but only God can give us perfect love. It is in being rooted in His love that we will be satisfied. Nothing fills the starved soul but the love of God. He cries out over and over and over again to reach with our hearts, to know that He is alive, to be absorbed in His Divine love.

10. Jesus: Are you cold, are you empty, are you hungry? Where do you go when you are hungry? When there is nowhere that you are satisfied, I am waiting for you to come to be with Me and I will outpour to you My abundant love. I love you, I love you, I love you. I am with you in a special way. It is in the rosary that you will unite more deeply to My burning love on fire for love of you.

The Scourging at the Pillar

R. This rosary on the fifth of the month is in honor of the five blasphemies against the Blessed Mother and the five wounds of Christ. Let us meditate on His wounds as we pray this rosary. Let us think about the wounds on His arms and His back. The wounds that those He loved gave to Him.

1. R. They seized Him and they led Him away as a common criminal and they tied Him to a pillar, His hands tied. Do you notice His surrender? He did not fight back. Every time we see pictures of Jesus, we see Him surrendering to everything that happened to Him.

2. R. We should realize that God is omnipotent and the immensity of His love that He loved us so much that He came to this earth and He took on a human body. God is all powerful and controls our every breath and our every heartbeat and He wants to be so intimately one with us. God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell within our graced baptized soul. Why do we fear when He is with us and loves us so much and is attentive to our every need?

3. R. The mystery of God's love – God is the ultimate mystery.

Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

R. Perfect love - God communicates His love to us through His Son Jesus who took on human flesh for love of us. Jesus took on a human nature. This is how God loves us. Look how He is mistreated this day by those He loves so dearly!

4. R. Jesus comes and appears and shows us His Heart, surrounded with a crown of thorns. He suffered indifference, the neglect and hate from those He loves. Can we, in this rosary, tell the beloved Heart of Jesus that we want to help make reparation to His Heart for the indifference, neglect and hatred against Him, and ask Him to help us to love Him more? To see that the greatest act that we can perform on this earth is the act of loving God. This is why we were created, to know, love, and serve God with all our hearts, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Oh burning Heart, Oh love Divine, let us love You more...

5. R. Jesus stood at the pillar, tied and helpless. This was the Almighty God, He could have at any second stopped the treatment. Jesus allowed Himself to be treated this way by those He loved. The weapons they used tore deeply into His flesh and made Him bleed. Meditate on the wounds that were so deep in Jesus' body, that tore Jesus' skin, deep into Jesus' body, it made Him bleed!

6. R. Jesus asks us to carry out His life, death and resurrection in our lives. God allows us to suffer. Much of our suffering can be mental torment, going through the everyday, ordinary events that are very hard sometimes, to live through it. We are not standing at the pillar but we can identify with His suffering whenever we suffer. Jesus allows us to live His life, death and resurrection in our lives. Let us thank Him for the great gifts He gives to us to allow us to share in His life in baptism. Sufferings can draw us closer to Him. We must identify with Jesus when we are racked with pain.

7. R. We know God is always with us, even when it is really hard.

8. R. You reached down and You lifted me up. You kissed my wounds and You breathed into my soul. I knew, God, that You were there with Your Divine love.

9. R. Minute by minute, second by second, Jesus is attentive to our every need, our every heartbeat and He knows the number of hairs on our head. The Almighty God is truly present in this room with us, in the Eucharist, no less present than the day He walked this earth. Our hearts can be in turmoil and in fear many times, yet we know He is there with us. We know the white heat of His love. Let us put aside all of the distractions in our hearts and give to Him a most ardent love. Beg Him to help us to love Him deeper.

10. Jesus: Are you empty? Where do you go when you are empty, My beloved ones, for it is only in My Heart that you will be filled! You search and you wonder and you look - you look at a senseless world that has forgotten God and where do they turn as they look for more and more and more? Nothing on the face of this earth feeds the starved soul but the love of God. If you are hungry, come to Me and I will give you rest.

Song: A Song from Jesus

Jesus is Crowned with Thorns

Jesus: Are you racked with pain? They pounded into My head a sharp crown of piercing thorns and the blood ran down My face, into My eyes and My ears. How many mental torments do you go through, all through the day? How many sufferings in your heart? Will you long for love? Nothing will fill that craving in your hearts. Nothing...and I cry out from the tabernacle, "I am longing and I am thirsting for you. I have all that you need. Come to Me and I will give you rest!"

1. Song: Come to Me, all who are weary, and find rest for your soul, Come to Me all who are burdened and I will comfort you.

Jesus: It is in your ordinariness, in living every moment of your day with love, that you will know peace and joy in your heart.

2. R. For 30 years on this earth Jesus lived the quiet life.

Jesus: It is in your ordinariness that you can prepare for sainthood. Accepting all of those things that I give to you, responding with love, I ask this of you, My dear ones. To spend every moment doing the Father's will and loving all your brothers as I live in you and minister to them through you. Put on Christ in all of your actions and let Me minister to this world that is hurting and in pain, through you.

3. Jesus: See as I see. Ask to love as I love. Ask and you shall receive for I am attentive to all of your needs.

R. Dear Holy Spirit, descend upon us and fill our hearts with the fire of God's love. That we too will love as you want us to love this day.

4. R. They spit on Jesus and they mocked Jesus. They said cruel things to Jesus, and Jesus took everything that they gave to Him and He did not holler back. Jesus accepted what they gave Him. He comes to show us the way. How many times are we ridiculed and it wouldn't do us any good to answer back? His way was silent suffering many times. Jesus accepted the sufferings. Jesus carried His cross. Jesus' way is the way of love. Jesus' Heart was overwhelmed with love for those who persecuted Him and put Him to death!

5. Jesus: Is your heart torn within your chest, My beloved ones? Do you see the world in its coldness? Do you see the evil that exists? You are the light that I am sending into this darkened world. It is through you that I will minister to this world. You must stay rooted in Me. It is in Me that I can minister to this world that is suffering and in pain.

6. R. And He mounted the cross - the Son of God, the Almighty God, Jesus, the Son of God gave His all that we could be saved. Jesus' way is love. Jesus gives to us a Heart of love and He asks us to come and dwell in His Heart that He can operate in us in this world. Jesus loves us. Jesus died for each person. He gave His life for all of us.

7. R. Dear Holy Spirit, I need the fire of God's love. I cannot love as You want me to love. I ask you to permeate my being and to fill me with the fire of God's love, to come and to change my heart that I may love more and more as Jesus loved.

Jesus: I call to you this day to carry out My life, death and resurrection in your lives. When you are down on the ground and you are suffering and in pain, I am there. I am attentive to your every need. Let go and surrender and let Me fill you with My Divine Love.

8. R. I went to the heart of Mary. Christ was formed in the womb of Mary, I too am formed more and more in the image and likeness of God in Mary's Immaculate Heart - my spiritual womb. I want to be more and more like Jesus, through the action of the Holy Spirit. We are sanctified through this action of the Holy Spirit. We are made more holy. We unite deeper and deeper in the burning abyss of the Heart of Jesus, the Heart of endless love!

9. R. And it is in this red cavern of His Divine Love that we unite to our beloved Father. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. We are united more deeply to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, by dwelling in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Let us consecrate our hearts to Them and ask Them to help us to dwell in Their Hearts. The world is cold and dark. When we are persecuted and there is not any place to go, let us go to Their Hearts - this is our refuge.

Song: I am your Sacred Heart

10. R. Think of how it is to have a small cut and think of how it was for Jesus to have thorns pounded into His head and have blood pouring down His face. This is the love that He has for us, His Sacred Head, surrounded by a crown of piercing thorns. Let us see You and know Your love, for we are blind and do not realize that what we seek is Your Divine love. We search and we wonder and we are not satisfied. Only You will satisfy the craving in our soul. Let us go to You all through the day. Spend 'little' moments talking to You. Spend time every day alone with You, as we would with any person that we love deeply.

Song: God's Love

Jesus Carried His Cross

R. Jesus took all the sins of the world upon Himself and He carried the cross on His back.

1. R. They mocked Him and they poked at Him and they pushed Him and He fell to the ground - always the look of love and peace on His face. In the greatest sufferings He remained at peace for He knew the Father's will. The Father loves us with the deepest love for He created us and there is not any other person that is like us that can carry out the plan that the Father has for us. Let us go to the Heart of Jesus for it is there that we unite more deeply to the love of the Father.

2. Song: I am Your Sacred Heart

R. And He came to this earth and He gave His life that we would be saved and we would be with Him forever and ever in Heaven, in deepest union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Song: I am Your Sacred Heart

Jesus: Are you hungry? What do you need to feed your starved soul?

3. Jesus: Look at your world, America! Do you see the violence and the hatred? Do you see the children that are murdered in the womb of their mother? This is the hunger of your world. You are My faithful ones that I am sending out to this world to carry the messages of My burning love. Open your heart wide for I am giving to you abundant graces to join ever closer to My Divine love, graces given to you, My precious souls. Open your heart and let Me fill you with My Divine Love.

4. Jesus: Many are called but few are chosen. You have been chosen to join in the deepest love with Me. Suffer. I carried My cross on My back. I know you carry your crosses this day. Come and unite with Me. These are great gifts, given to you, that you will grow deeper in your life in Me. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God and I give to you from My abundant love.

5. Jesus: When you fell to the ground and your chin was skinned, did you know that it was in that moment that I was closest to you, that it was in that moment that you turned to Me? Did you know that it was in that moment that you shared your suffering with Me? In sharing in My suffering you knew Me, deeper and deeper. Thank God for all that you are given, for these are great gifts, given from God who loves you!

6. R. We see His Heart surrounded with a crown of thorns, but during His bitter Passion He was comforted so by our acts of love that we give to Him this day.

Jesus: Will you help make reparation to My Heart for the offenses committed against Me and My Father and the Holy Spirit? Will you come and tell us of your love? I wait and I long for your love. I wait to hear words from your lips that you love Me!

7. R. I am so one with Jesus and Jesus took me to the deepest chamber of His Heart. His Heart is an endless abyss of burning love. I united with love itself. In that moment there was not any wanting or longing. There was not fear in my heart, for I knew the love of the Almighty God and to know His love is to feel secure in Him.

8. R. The love that Jesus has for us is such love. See Him on the ground with the cross on His back, covered with blood and wounds all over His body, such love Jesus has for us. Jesus says: "I give to you this love this day and so many turn their backs on Me. What more do you want?"

9. Song: Come to Me all who are weary and find rest for your soul. Come to Me all who are burdened I will comfort thee.

R. Jesus had the look of perfect peace on His face. Mary and Jesus always complied to the will of the Father, for it is in living in His will that we will have peace and joy in our lives. Even in the midst of suffering – we will have this peace and joy.

10. Hail Mary

The Crucifixion

1. R. They pounded into Jesus' hands sharp nails and Jesus' feet were nailed to the cross. Jesus' head was crowned with thorns. These are the wounds He suffered for love of us. Nails that went all the way through His hands and His feet! We whimper and complain about the little sufferings that we have in our life – He shows us His hands and His feet!

2. R. Jesus' way is love. Jesus' way is sacrifice. Jesus sacrificed Himself for love of us. It is in every Mass that we unite in this oneness. We suffer - we identify this with His suffering. We unite in the Mass the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present. We mystically mount the cross with Him, as we climb with Jesus on the cross and spread our arms and offer ourselves as a sacrifice to the Father. The Father is most pleased. As we die to ourselves in the ways that are not like God, as we give our all to be as the Father intended us to be - that is when the Father is most pleased. In the sacrifice, we are united in deepest love with Him. In Communion, He gives Himself to us in this act of most intimate love, Jesus cries out for us to give ourselves to Him. This is a deep act of intimate love. In the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist He gives Himself to us and we give ourselves to Him, this is a most intimate act of love for Divinity is united with us and it is at this time when He gives Himself to us that we receive such abundant graces.

3. R. Death/Resurrection - that permeates our lives as we die each day in our struggles and we rise to new life. As we go to each Mass and we die with Him on the cross and we receive the bread of life, the true bread come down from heaven. He gives this bread to us and we share in His Divine life!

4. Jesus: Are you hungry? What do you use to feed your starved souls?

Song: I Am the Bread of Life

R. The most intimate act of love – the Holy Eucharist. God gave Himself on the cross and He gives Himself, in His Divinity and humanity, in the Eucharist to us. In order to unite in the intimate act of love between us and God, we must surrender and give ourselves to Him. This is the most intimate act of love, this is what the starved soul craves, intimacy with God. It is that for which we were created. We were created to know, love and serve God. Nothing on the face of this earth will satisfy this craving in our soul.

5. Jesus: What do you use to feed your starved soul? What pleasures that are momentary? All things must be rooted in Me - rooted deeply in Me.

6. R. The Mass is the most perfect sacrifice offered to the Father. In uniting ourselves in oneness, we die with Him that we may rise in Him. Jesus is the Bread of Life and He gives us Himself to eat, to feed us. Bread and wine - that which nourishes our body is changed into His Body and Blood to nourish our souls. Nothing on the face of this earth feeds the starved soul but the love of God.

7. R. In the Mass we unite to the sacrifice of Jesus. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present in the Mass. We want to be united in deep union with Him in the Holy Eucharist. The Father wants this. Let us be a holy sacrifice for it is most pleasing to the Father for us to unite to Jesus in the Mass. Every word in the Mass is so beautiful. It is God's great love given to us - Jesus gives Himself intimately to us in the Holy Eucharist. Let us at this time help make reparation to God for the indifference and injustice committed against Jesus' Heart, and help make reparation for the blasphemies against His Mother's heart.

8. R. On First Friday and First Saturday, They want so much for us to help make reparation to Their Hearts for the injustices done to God and to the Mother of God. We comfort Their Hearts with deep acts of love. This rosary is said on the 5th of the month in honor of the blasphemies against the Blessed Virgin, against her Motherhood, her Virginity, and against her Immaculate Conception, and for the five wounds of Jesus.

9. R. What flowed forth from His pierced Heart was blood and water; water, a symbol of Baptism. We are made sharers in His Divine life. Blood, a symbol of the Eucharist whereby our hungry souls are fed with His Body and Blood. As we see at Mass the priest raises up the Host and says "This is My Body". The priest raises the chalice and says, "This is My Blood." It is here Jesus says to us, I give you Myself. How can you walk around with such irreverence? You are My chosen ones that will carry this message to the world and I am giving you such graces to be so close to Me, so that you will carry the message of love to others who want to love more in the deepest, deepest way. I give you love from the deepest recesses of My Heart! Come through this wound and you will know My Divine life, My Divine love. You will know My Heart. I give you Myself.

Song: A Song from Jesus

Song: Take and Eat

R. This is the mystery of God's love, the mystery that was hidden until Jesus came to this world and it is revealed through Jesus Christ, His Son and He gives Himself to us in the moment when we receive Him in the Holy Eucharist. He reveals deep insights into the mystery of God's love. It is a grace given by God to those that He chooses. Let us treat Him with the deepest reverence and thank Him over and over again for the grace to share this deep intimacy with Him!

10. Hail Mary

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series - Reflect on the Word - Cycle B —  The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series - Steadfast to the Son - Cycle A — The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul - Cycle C — In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word - Cycle B — At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts

Priestly Newsletter 2000 Issue 1
Audio CD - Read by Father Edward J. Carter
$ 10.00  plus postage

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #1 - CD. - Christ is Our Strength - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our-selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #2 - CD. - Suffering: A Source of Life - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. Fr. Carter knew suffering that year. His voice is so powerful as he read each Newsletter from his heart and soul. "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ..." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
