Excerpt from Response to God's Love,

by Father Edward Carter, S.J.

                                 1

The Mystery of Christ and Christian Existence

...In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ. St. Paul tells us: "I became a minister of this Church through the commission God gave me to preach among you his word in its fullness, that mystery hidden from ages and generations past but now revealed to his holy ones. God has willed to make known to them the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to the Gentiles—the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory. This is the Christ we proclaim while we admonish all men and teach them in the full measure of wisdom, hoping to make every man complete in Christ" (Col 1:25-28).

                God shows us relationship —
The Trinity is the most perfect relationship.
                God is love.
God wants us to know Him, to know His love.
In knowing God we have a relationship
with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Our happiness is found in God.
                God is love.
God calls us to love Him.
God calls us to love each other as ourselves.

                Man sinned —
God gave him all these gifts and
Adam and Eve wanted to be Equal to God.
                Cain killed his brother —
We see lust in the story of the men lying
                    about Susanna.
We see the sinfulness of man.

Doing God's will is what Mary and Jesus showed
                    us.

A passive-aggressive person acts like they
will do something and then stalls,
makes somebody wait — trying to
                    provoke the other —
They attack passively, but their attack
                        is to aggressively hurt another.

                We see Mary's yes.
                We see her purity.
                We see love.
Jesus although He was beaten He did it for
                    love of us.

Jesus the Almighty - God —
                    knowing everything —
suffered for the sins of men

What good does it do to go to your death bed doing
our actions to 'save face' to people
                    here below —
Saying, 'I am perfect, I never sin' —

1 John 1: 8-10

If we say, ‘We have no sin,’
we are deceiving ourselves,
and truth has no place in us;
if we acknowledge our sins,
he is trustworthy and upright,
so that he will forgive our sins
and will cleanse us from all evil.
If we say, ‘We have never sinned,’
we make him a liar,
and his word has no place in us.

A person who lies, will cover their lie usually
with immense emotional and denial to prove
                    they never lied.

                Lying is deception.

Jesus says in Revelation there will be no
                    more lies.

A person punishing an innocent other is
                    doing this to Jesus.

Religious are to be living a very pure life
                    of chastity and obedience —
In heaven there is perfect —
                        poverty, chastity and obedience.

Jesus showed us in His death He obeyed
the will of the Father —

In today's readings it says —
                    Isaiah 7: 10-14, 8: 10

Isaiah 7: 10-14

Yahweh spoke to Ahaz again and said:

Ask Yahweh your God for a sign,
either in the depths of Sheol
    or in the heights above.

But Ahaz said, ‘I will not ask. I will not put Yahweh to the test.’
    He then said:

    Listen now, House of David:
    are you not satisfied
        with trying human patience
    that you should try
        my God’s patience too?
The Lord will give you a sign in any case:
It is this: the young woman is with child
and will give birth to a son
    whom she will call Immanuel.

Isaiah 8: 10

Devise plans as you may:
    they will come to nothing!
Make what pronouncements you like;
    For God is with us!'

"Must we also weary my God"

                    Psalm 40

"Sacrifice or oblation you wished not,
but ears open to obedience you gave me."

Mary showed us she obeyed God —
Mary shows us how to be a handmaid of the Lord.

Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.

Jeremiah 9: 13-15

but have followed their own stubborn hearts, have followed the Baals as their ancestors taught them.' So Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of Israel, says this, 'Now I shall give this people wormwood to eat and poisoned water to drink. I shall scatter them among nations unknown to their ancestors or to them; and I shall pursue them with the sword until I have annihilated them.'

                We are not to lie.

                This Movement exists for truth.

John 16: 7-15

Still, I am telling you the truth:
it is for your own good that I am going,
because unless I go,
the Paraclete will not come to you;
but if I go,
I will send him to you.
And when he comes,
he will show the world how wrong it was,
about sin,
and about who was in the right,
and about judgement:
about sin:
in that they refuse to believe in me;
about who was in the right:
in that I am going to the Father
and you will see me no more;
about judgement:
in that the prince of this world
    is already condemned.
I still have many things to say to you
but they would be too much for you
    to bear now.
However, when the Spirit of truth comes
he will lead you to the complete truth,
since he will not be speaking
of his own accord,
but will say only what he has been told;
and he will reveal to you
   the things to come.
He will glorify me,
since all he reveals to you
will be taken from what is mine.
Everything the Father has is mine;
that is why I said:
all he reveals to you
will be taken from what is mine.

Mary appeared to the children of Fatima, 1917
                    They jailed the children —

Today I have gotten message after message —
when I was at Our Lady of the Holy
Spirit Center they kicked us out — September 11, 1995
                    even though Mary was appearing.

Today 17 years later, Our Lord has given
me the messages that formed this Movement
                    of almost 15 years.

The fight was there to block the messages.
God has used my hand and my mouth
                    delivering these messages —
like this one before Mary appeared
                    at Clearwater

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary speaks:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

                Mary's image head was destroyed
on the first day of the third month
                    March 1, 2004, 4 years ago.

Now listen to this scripture God told
                    me to note:

Ezekiel Chapter 31

In the eleventh year, on the first day of the third month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows, Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and his throng of subjects:

“What can compare with you
    for greatness?
I know: a cedar tree in the Lebanon
with noble branches, dense foliage,
    lofty height.
Its top pierces the clouds.
The waters have made it grow,
the deep has made it tall,
pouring its rivers round the place
    where it is planted,
sending rivulets to all the wild trees.
This is why its height was greater
than that of other wild trees,
its branches increased in number,
    its boughs stretched wide,
because of the plentiful waters
    making it grow.
All the birds of heaven
    nested in its branches;
under its boughs all wild animals
    dropped their young;
in its shade sat many, many people.
It was beautiful in its size,
    in the span of its boughs;
for its roots were in plentiful waters.
There was no cedar like it
    in the garden of God,
no cypress had branches such as these,
no plane tree could match its boughs,
no tree in the garden of God
    could rival its beauty.
I had made it so lovely
    with its many branches
that it was the envy of every tree in Eden,
    in the garden of God.

“Very well, the Lord Yahweh says this:
“Since it has raised itself to its full height, has lifted its top into the clouds, and has grown arrogant about its height, I have handed it over to the prince of the nations, for him to treat as its wickedness deserves; I have rejected it. Foreigners, the most barbarous of nations, have cut it down and deserted it. On the mountains, in all the valleys, lie its branches; its broken boughs are in every ravine throughout the country; everybody in the country has fled its shade and deserted it. On its wreckage perch all the birds of heaven; all the wild animals have advanced on its branches.

So in future let no tree rear its height beside the waters, none push its top into the clouds, no watered tree stretch its height towards them. For all of them are doomed to death, to the depths of the underworld, with the common run of humanity, with those who sink into oblivion.

The Lord Yahweh says this: The day it went down to Sheol, I imposed mourning, I closed the deep over it. I stopped its rivers and the plentiful waters dried up; I made Lebanon dark because of it, and all the wild trees wilted because of it. With the noise when it fell I made the nations quake, as I hurled it down to Sheol, with those who sink into oblivion. In the depths of the underworld all the trees of Eden took comfort, the pick of the loveliest trees of the Lebanon, all irrigated by the waters And its offspring among the nations, once living in its shade, went down to Sheol with it, to those who have been slaughtered by the sword.

Which of the trees of Eden compares with you for glory and greatness? Yet you have been hurled down with the trees of Eden, to the depths of the underworld, among the uncircumcised, and there you lie with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. So much for Pharaoh and all his throng–declares the Lord Yahweh."

God has given to us Mary, all pure, our
                    spiritual Mother —

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. * Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

                Mary was preserved from any
                    stain of original sin from
                    the first moment of conception.

                Sing: Immaculate Mary

                Mary told Bernadette at Lourdes
                    "I am the Immaculate Conception."

Since the fall of Adam and Eve, each of us
comes into the world bearing the
stain of original sin on our souls.

To Mary God poured forth special graces at the
moment of her conception, and she
                    was conceived without original sin.

The patroness of the United States of
                    America is the Blessed Virgin
under the title of the Immaculate Conception.

I can see why Mary appeared in
                    CLEAR-WATER Florida
                    on the building

Mary crushes the head of the serpent

The Fruits of the Holy Spirit, the 3rd Person of
the Holy Trinity and the Spouse of Mary
                    are
                    charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity,
                    goodness, longanimity, mildness, faith,
                    modesty, continence, chastity

Virtuous acts are to be performed with
pleasure and love — delight —
                    satisfaction replaces difficulty
                    in performing these acts

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are
                    understanding —
                    wisdom —
                    counsel —
                    fortitude —
                    knowledge —
                    piety —
                    fear of the Lord

Prayer for the Holy Spirit and His Gifts

Come Holy Spirit, come, come into our hearts, inflame all people with the fire of Your love.

Leader: Send forth Your Spirit and all will be reborn.
All:  And You will renew the face of the earth.

We pray for the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, we ask for perfection in our souls to make us holy, holy souls likened to God.

Dear Holy Spirit, we give ourselves to You soul and body. We ask You to give us the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord.

We have been given the great gift to love
and distribute pictures of the Sacred
                    Heart of Jesus —

The Heart of Jesus is used to show us
                    His infinite and Divine love.

                December 17, 1991 - 5 years to the day
                    Mary appeared at Clearwater —
I was given a vision of Jesus'
                        Heart — on fire — like a
                        pot-bellied stove

I put it on the front of Blue Book II as
                        I saw it —

December 17, 1991Picture of Jesus' Heart on fire.

His Burning Heart

Messenger:  I was alone in All Saints Church after Mass and Communion, in front of the tabernacle, when I saw the Sacred Heart. It was red around the outside, then a layer of yellow and then the brightest light in the center. I felt heat and it looked like an open furnace.

I thought about it all day and it instantly gave me peace and warmth in my heart. This is the purpose of these letters—to draw hearts to the ardent on-fire love of Jesus. I received the following message that day:

"Open your heart to the fire of God's love. He is ablaze in your heart. He wants to dwell in you and love you and others through you. Love God, yourself and one another and experience the fire set aglow in your heart and experience the warmth of His love."

end of writing about December 17, 1991

Promises of Our Lord to those devoted to His Sacred Heart:

  1. I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.

  2. I will establish peace in their homes.

  3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.

  4. I will be their refuge during life and above all in death.

  5. I will bestow a large blessing on all their undertakings.

  6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source and the infinite ocean of mercy.

  7. Tepid souls shall grow fervent.

  8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.

  9. I will bless every place where a picture of My Heart shall be set up and honored.

  10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.

  11. Those who promote this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be blotted out.

  12. I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the first Friday in nine consecutive months the grace of final penitence; they shall not die in My disgrace nor without receiving their sacraments; My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.

At the Visitation Convent of Paray-le-Monial,
                    France 1673-75 Christ appeared
to St. Margaret Mary and complained
"Behold the Heart which has so loved men
that it has spared nothing, exhausting
                    and consuming itself in testimony
of its love. Instead of gratitude I receive
from most only indifference, by irreverence
and sacrilege and coldness and scorn
that men have for Me in the Sacrament
                    of Love."

Jesus asked the Friday after the
Octave of Corpus Christi be made
a feast of reparation, and, He gave
her the 12 Promises to all who
give devotion to His Sacred Heart.

Jesus gave Fr. Carter the prayers in the
                    prayer manual and gave him
                    the following message with a
                    promise at the end

July 31, 1994

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

The First Friday devotion arose from
the result of the appearance of
Our Lord to St. Margaret Mary Alocoque.
Jesus promised the grace of a happy
death to those who receive Holy Communion
on the First Friday of nine
                consecutive months.

Envy is one of the seven capital sins.
It is wrong to use our minds and hearts
                    to bring self-destruction by looking
with anger or temper on others or
                    wishing them misfortune.

Some in the world act like offenses that displease
                    God are not sins.
If we lie about sin we are deceiving and
                        giving into satan.

We are not to commit adultery that is a sin,
but it is shown in our world
today as if it is accepted.

Man has natural tendencies to sensuous
pleasure or evil which is called
                    concupiscence, this is the
result of the fall of Adam and Eve.

Romans 7: 7-12

What should we say, then? That the Law itself is sin? Out of the question! All the same, if it had not been for the Law, I should not have known what sin was; for instance, I should not have known what it meant to covet if the Law had not said: You are not to covet. But, once it found the opportunity through that commandment, sin produced in me all kinds of covetousness; as long as there is no Law, sin is dead.

Once, when there was no Law, I used to be alive; but when the commandment came, sin came to life and I died. The commandment was meant to bring life but I found it brought death, because sin, finding its opportunity by means of the commandment, beguiled me and, by means of it, killed me.

So then, the Law is holy, and what it commands is holy and upright and good.

Colossians 3: 5-11

That is why you must kill everything in you that is earthly: sexual vice, impurity, uncontrolled passion, evil desires and especially greed, which is the same thing as worshipping a false god; it is precisely these things which draw God's retribution upon those who resist. And these things made up your way of life when you were living among such people, but now you also must give up all these things: human anger, hot temper, malice, abusive language and dirty talk; and do not lie to each other. You have stripped off your old behaviour with your old self, and you have put on a new self which will progress towards true knowledge the more it is renewed in the image of its Creator; and in that image there is no room for distinction between Greek and Jew, between the circumcised and uncircumcised, or between barbarian and Scythian, slave and free. There is only Christ: he is everything and he is in everything.

1 Thessalonians 4: 3-5

God wills you all to be holy. He wants you to keep away from sexual immorality, and each one of you to know how to control his body in a way that is holy and honourable, not giving way to selfish lust like the nations who do not acknowledge God. He wants nobody at all ever to sin by taking advantage of a brother in these matters; the Lord always pays back sins of that sort, as we told you before emphatically.

God gives us confession to confess
                    our sins.

Matthew 16: 19

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.’

Matthew 18: 18

‘In truth I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven

John 21: 18-19

In all truth I tell you,
    when you were young
you put on your own belt
    and walked where you liked;
    but when you grow old
you will stretch out your hands,
    and somebody else
will put a belt round you
    and take you
where you would rather not go.'

In these words he indicated the kind of death by which Peter would give glory to God. After this he said, 'Follow me.'

John 20: 21-23

and he said to them again, 'Peace be with you.

'As the Father sent me,
so am I sending you.'

After saying this he breathed on them and said:

Receive the Holy Spirit.
If you forgive anyone's sins,
they are forgiven;
if you retain anyone's sins,
they are retained.

Man is to control his sexual drive.

Matthew 5: 27-30

‘You have heard how it was said, You shall not commit adultery. But I say this to you, if a man looks at a woman lustfully, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye should be your downfall, tear it out and throw it away; for it will do you less harm to lose one part of yourself than to have your whole body thrown into hell. And if your right hand should be your downfall, cut it off and throw it away; for it will do you less harm to lose one part of yourself than to have your whole body go to hell.

1 Peter 3: 2-6

when they see the reverence and purity of your way of life. Your adornment should be not an exterior one, consisting of braided hair or gold jewellery or fine clothing, but the interior disposition of the heart, consisting in the imperishable quality of a gentle and peaceful spirit, so precious in the sight of God. That was how the holy women of the past dressed themselves attractively-they hoped in God and were submissive to their husbands; like Sarah, who was obedient to Abraham, and called him her lord. You are now her children, as long as you live good lives free from fear and worry.

Titus 2: 1-8

It is for you, then, to preach the behaviour which goes with healthy doctrine. Older men should be reserved, dignified, moderate, sound in faith and love and perseverance. Similarly, older women should behave as befits religious people, with no scandal-mongering and no addiction to wine-they must be the teachers of right behaviour and show younger women how they should love their husbands and love their children, how they must be sensible and chaste, and how to work in their homes, and be gentle, and obey their husbands, so that the message of God is not disgraced. Similarly, urge younger men to be moderate in everything that they do, and you yourself set an example of good works, by sincerity and earnestness, when you are teaching, and by a message sound and irreproachable

Proverbs 5: 15-20

Drink the water from your own storage-well,
fresh water from your own spring.
Even if your fountains overflow outside,
your streams of water in the public squares:
let them be for you alone,
and not for strangers with you.
May your fountain-head be blessed!

Find joy with the wife you married in your youth,
fair as a hind, graceful as a fawn:
hers the breasts that ever fill you with delight,
hers the love that ever holds you captive.
Why be seduced, my son, by someone else's wife,
and fondle the breast of a woman who belongs to another"

Genesis 39: 7-20

and it happened some time later that his master's wife cast her eyes on Joseph and said, "Sleep with me." But he refused. "Look," he said to his master's wife, "with me here, my master does not concern himself with what happens in the house, having entrusted all his possessions to me. He himself wields no more authority in this house than I do. He has exempted nothing from me except yourself, because you are his wife. How could I do anything so wicked, and sin against God?" Although she spoke to Joseph day after day, he would not agree to sleep with her or be with her.

But one day when Joseph came into the house to do his work, and none of the men of the household happened to be indoors, she caught hold of him by his tunic and said, "Sleep with me." But he left the tunic in her hand, took to his heels and got out. When she saw that he had left the tunic in her hands as he ran out, she called her servants and said to them, "Look at this! My husband brought in a Hebrew to make a fool of me! He burst in on me, but I screamed, and when he heard me scream, he left his tunic beside me and ran out of the house."

She kept his tunic by her until his master came home. Then she told him the same tale, 'The Hebrew slave you brought to us burst in on me to make a fool of me. But when I screamed, he left his tunic beside me and ran away." When his master heard his wife say, "This was how your slave treated me," he became furious. Joseph's master had him arrested and committed to the gaol where the king's prisoners were kept.

                The ancient world stressed the
nature of the flesh as opposed
to the nature of the Spirit of God.

Romans 7: 14-25

We are well aware that the Law is spiritual: but I am a creature of flesh and blood sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand my own behaviour; I do not act as I mean to, but I do things that I hate. While I am acting as I do not want to, I still acknowledge the Law as good, so it is not myself acting, but the sin which lives in me. And really, I know of nothing good living in me -- in my natural self, that is -- for though the will to do what is good is in me, the power to do it is not: the good thing I want to do, I never do; the evil thing which I do not want -- that is what I do. But every time I do what I do not want to, then it is not myself acting, but the sin that lives in me.

So I find this rule: that for me, where I want to do nothing but good, evil is close at my side. In my inmost self I dearly love God's law, but I see that acting on my body there is a different law which battles against the law in my mind. So I am brought to be a prisoner of that law of sin which lives inside my body.

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body doomed to death? God -- thanks be to him -- through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So it is that I myself with my mind obey the law of God, but in my disordered nature I obey the law of sin.

Romans 8: 5-11

Those who are living by their natural inclinations have their minds on the things human nature desires; those who live in the Spirit have their minds on spiritual things. And human nature has nothing to look forward to but death, while the Spirit looks forward to life and peace, because the outlook of disordered human nature is opposed to God, since it does not submit to God’s Law, and indeed it cannot, and those who live by their natural inclinations can never be pleasing to God. You, however, live not by your natural inclinations, but by the Spirit, since the Spirit of God has made a home in you. Indeed, anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But when Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin but the spirit is alive because you have been justified; and if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead has made his home in you, then he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your own mortal bodies through his Spirit living in you.

1 Corinthians 3: 1-3

And so, brothers, I was not able to talk to you as spiritual people; I had to talk to you as people still living by your natural inclinations, still infants in Christ; I fed you with milk and not solid food, for you were not yet able to take it-and even now, you are still not able to, for you are still living by your natural inclinations. As long as there are jealousy and rivalry among you, that surely means that you are still living by your natural inclinations and by merely human principles.

Jesus took Peter, James and John in
the garden — He told them to
                    be aware of temptations —
                    Jesus said
"Sit down here while I pray"

Christ begged the Father as He
                    knelt to pray

"Father if it is your will, take
this cup from me, yet not
my will but yours be done"

Christ knew the suffering He would
                    suffer.

An angel appeared to strengthen Him —
His sweat became drops of blood falling to
                    the ground
He returned to the sleeping disciples —
                Judas then appeared.

Revelation 14: 1-5

Next in my vision I saw Mount Zion, and standing on it the Lamb who had with him a hundred and forty-four thousand people, all with his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. I heard a sound coming out of heaven like the sound of the ocean or the roar of thunder; it was like the sound of harpists playing their harps. There before the throne they were singing a new hymn in the presence of the four living creatures and the elders, a hymn that could be learnt only by the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the world. These are the sons who have kept their virginity and not been defiled with women they follow the Lamb wherever he goes; they, out of all people, have been redeemed to be the first-fruits for God and for the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths and no fault can be found in them.

                Holy Spirit Revelation about lying

                    The first commandment of God
"I am the Lord thy God; thou
                        shalt not have strange (false)
                        gods before Me"

We are to give to God what is His due.
We give highest honor to God —
We have faith, hope and love.
                    We adore God
We must offer God the supreme
                        worship that is His due.

God wants us to obey out of love.
He tells us to call Him "Our Father"
We are not to see ourselves as slaves
                        obeying God.

Matthew 5: 1-12

Seeing the crowds, he went onto the mountain. And when he was
seated his disciples came to him. Then he began to speak. This is
what he taught them:

How blessed are the poor in spirit:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
Blessed are the gentle:
they shall have the earth as inheritance.
Blessed are those who mourn:
they shall be comforted.
Blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for uprightness:
they shall have their fill.
Blessed are the merciful:
they shall have mercy shown them.
Blessed are the pure in heart:
they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers:
they shall be recognised
   as children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted
   in the cause of uprightness:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Blessed are you when people abuse you and persecute you and
speak all kinds of calumny against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven; this
is how they persecuted the prophets before you.

Could we even comprehend how it was for
Christ to come upon the earth and to deal
with the people who did not know or
                understood the things He knew.

How horrendous it was for men to
mock Jesus and accuse Him so unjustly —
Jesus, all perfect, the Son of God, to walk
                amidst the unforgiving, pompous,
arrogant men — so filled with pride,
anger, lust — crying out to God —
                'Crucify Him".

And they hung Him between two
                criminals. They hung Jesus shamefully
by nails, body almost naked, on a
tree, people watched as Jesus died —
they watched a man put to death —
Jesus allowed this humiliation — He
took the nature of a slave — He hung and
                went through a derisive death.

See men as they watched Jesus carry
the cross, laden with the sins of the
world. Gawkers — like gawker that
                watch a wreck —

                    Jesus all merciful
                    They had no mercy
Their hearts — hearts of stone
Their anger so great that they could
                        crucify an innocent man.

Did you ever see a man that is so
consumed with hatred to act it
out — to 'save face' — he pokes and pokes
at an innocent other to try to infuriate
them — because he sees himself too
perfect to act out his own anger —
It is deceptive, lying, he is angry,
full of hate and he acts in hate
to a scapegoat an innocent other —
then like a whipping boy — he gets
relief watching the other suffer —
He hides His impurities, his hatred
from himself and he laughs little
unless he has made another suffer —

Anger is an outburst of emotion
and is filled with revenge —
It is one of the 7 capital sins —
it is a disorder, full of passion — indignation

Jesus was the Lamb led to the
slaughter — They wanted Jesus dead
on the cross — They whipped Jesus to
their own exhaustion — Did you see
anything but darkness inside men who
make others a scapegoat who are
                consumed with pride, hatred and
anger because they were betrayed and
they act out their hatred on another —
they work to 'save face', blaming another,
                trying to look innocent and calm themselves;
                when someone is passive-aggressive —
they can be filled with hatred.

The life I have lived is to try to grow
in greater holiness — writing God's
messages for 17 years to help people
to love, to be pure inside, to know
God's love — to know about the Eucharist
                the scriptures, meditations on the
                rosary — forgiveness — hope ——

Judas betrayed Jesus, of the twelve Apostles — Judas
sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver —
Now what happens when a man has
been so wounded by another and
betrayed — his family torn apart —
does he carry the hatred in his
heart wanting to punish and punish,
but the law says don't do that
so deceptively he tries to control
                to inflict pain, causing confusion,
                disharmony to have combat for
his hatred inside — attacking others
innocently who love and try to do
                good —

How could they tear the flesh
of Jesus, the Son of God, how could
they beat Him, how could they argue
with their words of untruth to
                justify their actions.

They used profanity on Jesus, blaspheming Jesus —
disrespecting Jesus — Jesus, the Son of God -
died for these prideful men's sin.

                    The commandments command we speak
                the truth in all things.

The Ten Commandments
  1. I am the Lord thy God; thou shalt not have strange gods before Me.

  2. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

  3. Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath day.

  4. Honor thy father and thy mother.

  5. Thou shalt not kill.

  6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

  7. Thou shalt not steal.

  8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

  9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.

  10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods.

The commandments — command we act
and think as God tells us. God made it a rule!!
                The ninth commandment says
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife.

The heart is an organ in a man —
it gives blood to the whole body —
pumping life to the whole body —
when the heart is obstructed the body
                can die.

Now look at all the people wounded
                by divorce, watching children learn
to live divided lives, when children
have come to this earth in a beautiful
act of co-creating and God has
                made marriage a sacrament, but
the sacrament of marriage as beautiful
as it is can be torn apart by selfishness,
                unfaithfulness to the marriage vow.
(Some marriages can legally be annulled by the Church and legal authorities.)
The most intimate act of giving
                oneself completely to another —
based on trust to the core of one's
                heart — commitment, bearing
children and then one morning some
are betrayed — left with a 'whole in their heart.'

Jesus showed us how the Apostles
followed Him but Judas lied —
                Judas talked to Jesus' enemies
to sell Jesus, the Son of God.
At the Last Supper when Jesus
                took bread and blessed it

Jesus knew Judas was going to betray Him.

What about the trust of another — when
you give your life to them and then
                because maybe you argued, were
hard to get along with, didn't
fill emotional needs — the other
finds someone who is able to fill their emotional needs and
who gives them love, understanding —
                what about their children —

How many others because of being
                betrayed live with stone hearts
                punishing an innocent other, not
laughing life long, not feeling because
                their life is now ship-wrecked.

When pain of abandonment is so
great another can shut down their
heart and not feel, laugh, show
anger become a heart of stone —
They rationalize they will never get
hurt again so they shut down the
bleeding wound and put up a big
sign "Do not enter" because they
never want to be betrayed again,
but we were created to love — we
were meant to be sensitive, to laugh
to show frustration, to act with
                emotions, but they cannot jostle
their bleeding heart, they think, so they
may wound innocent others now in their life

A 'pot' of hatred and unforgiveness for
the betrayal — finally they can destroy
themselves if no one wants to be around them —
A negative, locked up person can live
in a tomb of darkness — fear of
                abandonment or knowing the horrendous
pain of betrayal they feel would be
more then they can deal with — so they
lock themselves up and their god
becomes - making sure they don't
feel again — so they won't have to
deal with the pain inside — they
in a sense — shut down because
they think they could not take it

Now God intends us to be sensitive —
to have relationships of giving and
taking — to be able to act from our
hearts in the world — to be sensitive —
to learn how to do God's will more
and more with a vibrant growing
                heart of love, trust, commitment
                most likened to Jesus.

How many hearts are shut down —
where they should be one in purity
