for April 20th are Glorious.

The church needs to have the stucco replaced

and also the community building.

It is about $38,000 to repair it.

People pray in the church 24 hours a day.

We have prayed in there for 11 years.

The archdiocese gave the church to us

for this purpose for a small price.

Can you help us?

John 20: 19-31

In the evening of that same day, the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, ‘Peace be with you,’ and, after saying this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord, and he said to them again, ‘Peace be with you.

    ‘As the Father sent me,
    so am I sending you.’

After saying this he breathed on them and said:

    Receive the Holy Spirit.
    If you forgive anyone’s sins,
    they are forgiven;
    if you retain anyone’s sins,
    they are retained.

Thomas, called the Twin, who was one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, ‘We have seen the Lord,’ but he answered, ‘Unless I can see the holes that the nails made in his hands and can put my finger into the holes they made, and unless I can put my hand into his side, I refuse to believe.’ Eight days later the disciples were in the house again and Thomas was with them. The doors were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said. Then he spoke to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; look, here are my hands. Give me your hand; put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving any more but believe.’ Thomas replied, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus said to him:

You believe because you can see me.
Blessed are those who have not seen
        and yet believe.

There were many other signs that Jesus worked in the sight of the disciples, but they are not recorded in this book. These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing this you may have life through his name.

                Love for one another
                    drew people to the community

Thomas was not with them on Easter Sunday
                    night

                Thomas was missing

                Thomas wouldn't believe Jesus rose
from the dead when they told Thomas

When Thomas was with the others —
                    he came to believe

How hard it is to believe sometimes —
Shows us how faith community can
                    help us believe —

                "My Lord and My God"

We used to say when the priest raised up the
                    host and chalice

                Forgiveness of sins

                If people sinned they
had to do their penance before the others
before they could come back to the community —

                We need the community

May our gathering help us to have
peace and love with each other —

We want to see through God's eyes —
                    not have distorted vision —

                God wants peace and unity

                Satan wants division, isolation —

                3rd Commandment

3. Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath day.

We can keep mulling, isolating, dividing thoughts
                    in our minds —
                    this is not like Jesus

Jesus wants unity — love — peace
Christ whose act was that of giving

Jesus gave Himself in love —
Jesus came to teach us how to give

Satan wants us to be selfish

There is evil in all of us

Satan wants us to act out of this evil

Listen to the end of the Our Father

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. * Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Jesus shows us how to give
Jesus shows us His selflessness —
Jesus gave His all on the cross

Jesus gives us Himself in the Mass
The Sacrifice of Calvary Sacramentally made present

                We are unique

Only we can give the gift God has given
                    to the world in ourselves

We are a gift to be given —
Only we can uniquely love God as we can —

The commandment is to love God and
                    love others as ourselves —

When we do not love we are miserable —
                    after years of acting against
God's plan for us we become
                    darker and darker and miserable
                    angry because we were created
                    to love

                Satan works in our wounds
Trying to get us to be selfish - not loving
                    not in peace

                Jesus:

                    I am love
                    I love you so much
I give you Myself in the Eucharist out of
                        greatest love for you

Oh My child do not listen to satan —
your joy comes in giving love —
your joy comes in serving Me —
You are miserable when you are selfish —

When you do not give you are miserable —
You go against the Father's Plan when
                        you do not give

                        I AM LOVE

                        Holiness is being

like Jesus

Song: This is the Feast of Victory for
                            Our Lord — Alleluia

                R. Jesus came to teach us to love
Jesus came to teach us to give

                Jesus came
Jesus gave Himself — A Suffering Servant

                All eternity in heaven is
                    in unity
                    in love

Hell is isolation — selfishness —
                    darkness — NO LOVE

This is the Feast of Victory —

                Christ rose from the dead

God gives us this sharing in His life —

We, human creatures, are marked with
original sin at the moment of
                    conception —

                God gives us baptism

Original sin is erased, but its effects
are these tendencies toward sin —
                    rebelliousness against God's will —

Jesus' whole life here is His act of
                    giving
                    giving love to the Father
                    giving love to us

                Perfect love —

Jesus came to teach us to give
and to receive love for the
honor and glory of God —

To help build the Kingdom of God —

Our whole eternity and how we love
is based in how we grew in
                    the relationship of loving God
                    and others

                We have a free will

                We can choose selfishness, holding
                    back, giving into anger, jealousies

Hell is full of those who sinned grievously
                    against God —
                    lived lives against the commandments
                        of God

                God commands us to love

                Happiness lies in God

The Father created us for this purpose
to love God and love one another —

The more we go away from this — the more
we rebel against God and we are
unhappy — we deprive ourselves —

We have a free will to rise above
                    this evil in us —
to work to get rid of habits —
to ask God to remove this dark
characteristic in us and to co-operate
with His grace to choose love -
                        over selfishness

Jesus' whole life was giving —

The Divine Almighty God, the Second
Person of the Holy Trinity took
on flesh to teach us how to be
                    a son of God —

The Son of God, Jesus, gave Himself
completely for love of us —

We were created in the image and likeness
                    of God —

The whole Mass is an act of greatest
love — of relationship — Jesus
gives Himself to us — so
intimately — He comes to us
Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity —

He comes to us so we unite deeply with
God and the member of the mystical
body of Christ, the angels and saints in
                    heaven through the intercession of
Mary and we give ourselves united to
Jesus to the Father, in the Holy Spirit

The gift of love to God and all others and
we pray for grace for the souls
of this earth, the Church, the priests,
                    our families, ourselves, our country,
                    the whole human race —

We unite in this act of emptying ourselves —
giving ourselves united to the sacrifice
of Calvary sacramentally made present —

Sunday and Saturday when people go to Mass
                    and the 3rd Commandment says

3. Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath day.

We are to really focus on loving by giving
                    ourselves —

                Satan comes and says —
                    what's in it for me
                    be angry - at Church
                    don't pray
                    be distracted —

We must use our free wills and right
                    reason to serve God and
                    love all humanity —
We are here for this —
We are commissioned in baptism —

This is the Feast of Victory

                Jesus has risen —

We receive a sharing in His life in
                    baptism

God loves us so much —
He died and rose — so we could
                        share in His life

                Misery is rebelling against God's
                    plan —

Focused on self in selfishness - makes us miserable

                God wants our hearts open

God came forth from the tomb —
                    rock rolled away
                    arms spread
                    glorified wounds —

The devil works in our old wounds
to get us to dwell on selfish
                    things —

Look at a picture of your little self
                    as a child

                Love that child

See the beauty in God's creation
                See your whole life —

How have you loved God and worked
to build unity in the family
                    of God

God the Father is the Father of this Family —

We are to pray for unity in the human family —

It is a choice to be selfish or
to be open — giving love in our prayers
as members of the mystical body of
                    Christ —

To love the souls Jesus died for —

We have been called to help strengthen the
                    human family —
                    work in the Church —
and know our strength comes from
                        God

                Jesus loved us so much

                He took flesh

                He spread His arms
He was nailed to the cross
                    crowned with thorns and
                    He gave His all —

Jesus came to teach us how
                    to give

Jesus came to teach us to love

Acts 4: 32-35

The whole group of believers was united, heart and soul; no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, as everything they owned was held in common. The apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power, and they were all accorded great respect. None of their members was ever in want, as all those who owned land or houses would sell them, and bring the money from the sale of them, to present it to the apostles; it was then distributed to any who might be in need.

                Community —

The Trinity is the most Perfect Community
3 Persons and one God —

The care that God calls us to have for
                    one another —

One in the Pure and Holy Hearts of Jesus
                    and Mary —

Unity in one mind and one heart —

For all eternity — if we go to heaven
we will be in the beatific vision —
relationship with God — perfect love

We are children of the Father —

We are to be one happy family —

The Lord will help us to be holy —

                God is our strength —
                God's love is everlasting —

We are to obey God's commandments

1 John 5: 1-6

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ
is a child of God,
and whoever loves the father
loves the son.
In this way we know
    that we love God's children,
when we love God
    and keep his commandments.
This is what the love of God is:
keeping his commandments.
Nor are his commandments
    burdensome,
because every child of God
overcomes the world.
And this is the victory
that has overcome the world -
our faith.

Who can overcome the world
but the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God?
He it is who came by water and blood,
Jesus Christ,
not with water alone
but with water and blood,
and it is the Spirit that bears witness,
for the Spirit is Truth.

                Jesus:

                    When you are feeling good
many times you are too busy for Me.

So if I want your attention some times
                        I allow you to suffer.

Then you become engaged with Me,
                        but suffering.

                    Come when you feel good.

                R. Unless we ask God with a humble heart
to remove our defects of character,
we can remain in our blindness,
                    continuing behavior that is
                    sinful and habitual.

                Pride keeps us stuck.

A child may have been taught
by their parents that they are
always to appear perfect and in fact
act perfectly (which is not real perfection)
                    and to maintain this facade,
                    they open themselves to wearing
                    a mask about their imperfections.

Now say you have a problem with another
but you yourself have an attitude
                    of pride about the issue.

ie. An alcoholic and the enabler who
sees themselves as perfect and the
                    alcoholic at complete fault.

A person living with an alcoholic
                    (or a dysfunctional other, addicted
to anger, abuse, control, etc.) can
                    become very dysfunctional themselves
trying to function in the dysfunction and
                    acquiring sick survival behavior
                    because of the other's dysfunction.

                We cannot change another.
We must focus on our behavior,
                    We can change this.

So we have a situation that we
are begging God to help us with,
but we tell God, in our pride
"Oh God fix them, I am faultless",
but we may be part of the problem
                    and need to change.

God wants us to come in our prayer
to help us if we are part of the problem
besides our plea for help for the
other. If we pray "fix them, I'm
perfect" and we are sinners, God
will not fix the problem if we
come in pride begging for the
other guy to change, so we can
                    keep sinning.

God wants us to humbly ask
                    for help with the situation
                    being willing to change
                    ourselves if we need to.

Dysfunction or people involved in alcoholic
behaviors see things as black and white.
A person may wish to resolve a conflict
                    but another with passive-aggressive behavior
wants conflict to use the other to express
their anger. Solving conflict prudently comes
when there is intention on both sides to do
                    what is right.

People of great pride and dysfunction
not taking responsibility for their faults
live in constant trauma and tension.

They can be addicted to misery because
of the unsettledness within them. On their
part they wish combat and not meekness
(Jesus is kind and gentle and meek in heart).

A person filled with anger can start combat
use the abuse cycle and projection to dump
their hurtful anger on others to get relief
when their tension from past anger builds.

Unless God is the center of our lives
we are working against the Plan of the Father
who created us and commands us to love Him
and love one another. Like a fish out of water
the person acting unlovingly without God as the
center of their lives can become very stiff,
                    tense, hard in heart.

What are we to say but to preach love to all,
to walk humbly, to live in truth about our own
faults and as Catholics we have the gift of
Mass and confession, we can admit our sins
and know that God forgives a contrite heart.
God is love and in Him there is no darkness.

Rosary from Clearwater, Florida

Joyful Mysteries

Song: A Song from Jesus

R. Again I want to pray for Kathleen's mom and her family and hope that she gets healed, if it is God's will.

Jesus: Let go to Me. Let go and let Me touch your soul. So tight, wound up like a drum. And I am with you here, and this is My building and the building of My Mother. For I have given to the world this great gift, that you will know more and more, the love that your God has for you, the love of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart.

It is in this that you will know the peace that Mary promised at Fatima, but you must listen to the message that she gave to you in spreading the consecration, and consecrating your homes, and consecrating your families, and praying as I have directed Fr. Carter for the priests, the Church and the world, in praying the rosary, and spreading this to the schools, and more and more, trying to work with the rosary makers that you spread the rosary to the schools for the children will be touched.

It is through the rosary that you will know more and more, the mysteries of Our lives, that you will be able to live as I have called you to live. For you do not see the importance of this building to the Father.

Mary by day

by night
July 5, 2000

He has spoken to you. He has told you over and over again, how important it is to the plan that He has given to this world. For He is the Creator and you are the creatures, and you are not pleasing your God, in your disobedience and the ways that you have acted. It is because of the prayer here, that you have appeased your God. Do not minimize My request for the services that I have called for from this building any longer.  Our Father

Jesus: Our Lady appeared at this building that all could see, for 7 1/2 years, almost ignored by most of the world. My people, you are offending your God. Pray with all your heart. Beg for mercy. Do not minimize My request for My building in Florida, to spread the consecration to Our Two Hearts, to pray the rosary, for frequent reception of the Eucharist, to tell the world of the great gifts given in the Catholic Church, to encourage all to be baptized. I am Jesus and I have spoken.  Hail Mary

R. Oh Lady of Fatima — Lady here in the building in Clearwater, we want so much for the world to be the way that God wants it to be. That we have given our lives and in our imperfection, we may be tested, and may, many times not come back in the way that we should, but our faithfulness and our love is there, our gift of ourselves given, our true valor, although not with the greatest perfection many times, for we are the poor banished children of Eve, but would You look upon our faithfulness and intercede to our beloved God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit ,and ask Him to please help us to do this, for we want the world with all of our hearts to be the way that God wants it to be.

Oh Lady of Light, Oh Lady of Fatima in the Americas, from the depth of every cell in my body I cry to thee. Hear our prayer from this place. For the journey was hard and the nights were long, and we never said 'nay'. We said 'yes' Lady. Yes, Lady for you and your Son. Yes Lady, to turmoil and trial, through love and joy. Yes, Lady. Yes, Lady. Lady of Fatima, intercede to God the Father, that we can reach the souls of this earth with this message of love, that we can reach the hierarchy, the pope, and they will listen, for the Church is the greatest, the gift of the Eucharist, the gifts of the Sacraments and baptism. Yes, Lady.

Sing: Dear Lady of Fatima, we come on bended knee to beg your intercession for peace and unity. Dear Mary won't you show us the right and shining way. We pledge our love and offer you a rosary each day.

R. We love you so much Mary. We love You Jesus. We love You Father and Holy Spirit, and all the angels and saints. We love the Church and the priests and the hierarchy. We do this because of our love. And satan doesn't like what we do and it is hard, but it is our labor of love. It is given because it means so much to us. Please hear us God. Please hear us Mary. Help us please.

The Annunciation

1. R. You know we have the Eucharist exposed in China, Indiana, and you can look on the internet, and you can see the people down there praying with us, and you can pray with us all over the world. Let's all pray with all of our hearts and all the love that we have for God and Mary, and all the souls of the earth. For it is love why we pray. It is love for the souls that Jesus died for. We love our Church so much God. We love our priests and the hierarchy. We pray for them all the time because of our great love. We thank You God. Thank you for the pope and the cardinals, and the bishops and the archbishops and the priests, and for the priests that help us, for my brother, and Father Mike and Father Don and the priests that come and say Mass for us, and for all that Fr. Bernie did.

What a gift God has given to us in the Church. What a gift! A gift, a gift beyond price. A gift beyond measure, a gift beyond words, a gift that God gives to us in giving us Himself in the Eucharist truly present. Oh God how can I tell You how much the Eucharist means to me? How much it means to have Your grace in me, to know the presence of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit dwelling within me, to know the gift of baptism, and to be so ever grateful, to love the Word as I do, more and more the gift of the Word. The Word feeds my hungry soul. Oh God, the treasure is beyond price or words and we thank Thee.

2. Hail Mary

3. R. And we pray for the healing that we prayed for, and all the healing that you want to pray for. We ask that the Blood of Jesus will be spread on everyone in the Movement, everybody that touches the Movement and our families. We pray God that You will send people to this building, and that we get the funds that we so desperately need right now. Funds just for the bills and to get this mailing out again to the priests, and to get Fr. Carter's Response to God's Love book started at the printer, so we can send the next mailing. Dear God, please help us.

4. Hail Mary

5. Jesus: And so you are busy about many things because I have called you, and I have allowed you to be tested over and over again. And I know of your yes and I know of your struggle, and I am with you in it all, for you are never alone. For the work that you do is the work to help the souls of this earth, the souls that I died for. And yet you may feel the struggle, and that is what suffering is. Suffering is suffering. But I am close to you, My child in all that you experience.

The building that you have been given is the building of My Father, a gift for the world. And it is to be guarded by the Shepherds of Christ that you will give your hearts, and for those who will help and contribute, that you will be able to maintain this building, and do what I have asked you to do from this building, that there will be peace on this earth, that you can help to bring to completion more the Fatima mission, that you will spread the prayer chapters for the priests, the Church and the world.

But you must have great faith. You must have a heart of love, and one of goodness that to those who come, your efforts are those to help them, to help them to know what I tell you now, to not give into the evil one to feel pressed on, but to realize how I am right with you and I am helping you and I love you so.

6. Hail Mary

7. Jesus: And you feel like you are tried in doing My will, and yet you look at Me on the cross, you see My body covered with wounds, My hands with nails and the nail in My feet. You see My head crowned with thorns, and you know that they nailed Me to the cross.

8. Jesus: And I did it for you, and I did it for the love of My precious souls. And I call to you today from this building to spread this love to the whole world, that you pray your prayers to help make reparation for the sins of the people of this earth, and that you never lose hope, but you feel that deep connection with Me and with My Mother, and that you know that we are giving you this commission to spread the love of Our Two Hearts to the world, to never falter or to become weak.

But to become empowered, because this is the place given to you from God the Father, and to those that I have called to help you, to help you in the payment. Continue to pray. Pray ardently. Pray for your donors. Pray that you will be able to keep this place, a place in which great grace and healing will be granted to those who come and pray fervently, and pray with you in these retreats. I will outpour My richest graces. Do you hear Me, My child? I am speaking to you in clear tones. You must listen and take My message to heart.

The Visitation

1. Jesus: Have you felt the pulling back of many of those that are to help you, of pulling back, of pulling back? And I have called them, I have called them, and I have called them by name. And they do not answer the call that I have given to them, and so it is more and more difficult. And the evil one tests through many, that pull back and pull back, when they are being called. You must pray My child, pray for them, for I have called many to help you.

2. Jesus: You can say 'no', or you can say 'yes'. You can say 'let somebody else do it'. You can say 'God is not talking to me' or 'Mary did not appear on the building'. But in all of it, the bottom line is, you are unwilling to do the helping. You do not want to be bothered. And when you hear Me call you softly in your heart, or I ask you to do something, very explicit, you do not listen, because you do not want to.

3. Jesus: Pray to the Holy Spirit, that you will answer with a willing spirit, that you will see always, with the right reasoning, of looking through the Father's eyes at the world below, rather than looking through the tainted vision and tainted habits, that you have allowed yourself to acquire. Pray to the Holy Spirit to rid you of vices, that have stopped you and slowed the process, for souls are at stake. And I, Jesus Christ, who died for these souls, call out to you this day. You are here and they are here struggling. Do not focus on yourselves and be selfish. Focus on the souls that you will be able to reach, if you pray hard to the Holy Spirit and give with a willing spirit of love.

4. Jesus: I have watched many give into their emotions and their feelings, and they are determining their actions by how they are emotionally or in their feelings. You have a free will to choose right or wrong. You cannot ever say, "Well, the devil made me do it." The devil did not make you do it. You have a free choice and with right reason, using your intellect, you can choose good rather than evil. Take responsibility for your actions. Do not give into satan to trick you once again, to allow you to go deeper and deeper into habits, that cause you trouble and hurt others. Pray to the Holy Spirit that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, that you will answer the call that I am giving to you now, that you will let go of the enslavement to which you have given into satan.

5. Jesus: I call you to holiness. I call you to unity. I call you to obey the structure. I call you.

Sing: Holy, Holy — Holy Is His Name

6. Hail Mary

7. Jesus: Do not test a just God any longer. Pray for mercy for your fellows, and live lives of greater holiness, for it is in your lives of holiness, in praying for the priests, the Church and the world, that you have appeased your God. I love you, I love you, I love you.

R. Tomorrow we will be here at 1:30, and we hope that you can come to the building or go to China. They will be praying in there. Remember we need the money for the mailing. And we need some things for some bills. And we would like to get Fr. Carter's Response to God's Love printed and that's going to be about $4,000, but then we can send it to all the Hierarchy. So please help us. Pray to God. If you know somebody that would help us let me or John know. Thanks again. Pray for Kathleen's mom. In the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. I'll be here at 1:30 and 6:20 tomorrow and the next day. Thanks. Bye.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

Yes — All the ends of the earth have seen
the power of God.

God has called us to be united as a family in
the Shepherds of Christ.

This is a vocation — to pray deeply for
the priests, the Church and the world and
to help support the Newsletter and the
Ministries.

Remember the image of Our Lady
of Clearwater on the building. We have
very special Fatima statues so you can
have a special place of prayer in your
homes, praying the rosary for your family
and for the priests, the Church and the
world. If you are interested in these
very special Fatima/Clearwater statues
e-mail me with your phone number
and address
info@sofc.org.

     Those using the special statues
will be united to us in a special way —
We want you to pray the Shepherds of
Christ prayers for the priests, the Church
and the world from your special place
in your home.

When people have set up a prayer corner/niche
with this statue, Fatima/Clearwater glass, they have
reported that their families have received special
blessings. With this statue it is important to pray
the prayers in the red prayer manual and consecrate
your home and family to the Sacred Heart and
Immaculate Heart.

Call Sheila or Doris about statues or go to China or
Clearwater.
