R. The worst thing I can do is divide with
those - God wants me to be united to
in doing His work –
Solidarity in Christ –
Christ is with me –
I must focus on Him when I am
with others – not be focused on myself –
Yesterday I met a couple and when I
was with them at the beginning, I
smelled roses so strong and so did
Doris.
Later as we visited I kept smelling
roses so strong. This is a gift I do not
have too often. It was a precious
gift to me to help me realize - God had
a purpose for this visit – I may look
to myself like my shoes are on the
wrong feet, but I don't give into
it. I do what God wants me to do
and allow God to use me as He desires, and
know God is working around me and
I should be confident in His presence
with me and Mary by my side.
The devil wants us self-conscience
and thinking we are doing it – We must
pray to see through the eyes of God –
get out of the way and do it His
way –
Every encounter every day needs prayers.
So when God wants us in New York, we are
not in California.
God is with us –
Our thoughts must be thoughts
that are loving God first and loving
our neighbor as ourselves. The light
of Christ is in us. The Father, Son and Holy
Spirit dwell in our graced baptized soul.
Jesus: Be confident, that as you walk,
I walk with you and I love you and I
am with you in all your encounters –
I love you.
R. Dear Jesus, You are my best friend,
I am not alone, I know He wants
me to be more and more loving.
Christ - like.
The devil works in fear and selfishness –
God is our refuge and our strength –
Strength comes from within –
Rooted in Him.
In the death, there
is the resurrection.
1 John 4: 17-21
Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.
2 Corinthians 4: 7-11
The hardships and hopes of the apostolate
But we hold this treasure in pots of earthenware, so that the immensity of the power is God’s and not our own. We are subjected to every kind of hardship, but never distressed; we see no way out but we never despair; we are pursued but never cut off; knocked down, but still have some life in us; always we carry with us in our body the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our body. Indeed, while we are still alive, we are continually being handed over to death, for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may be visible in our mortal flesh.

R. The water was glistening, looking
stunningly glimmering and so
gorgeous –
The water in the bay looked solid,
as the sun glistened on it,
it looked solid as one
could walk on it.
Jesus said: Satan deceives you like a
glistening, alluring lake, you
think you can walk on –
He lures you with his evil designs,
to think you can walk on water
and some of you, in your deception,
follow his allurement and fall in,
hook, line and sinker.
Only in following Me will you succeed.
Walk in faith.
Matthew 14: 22-33
And at once he made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side while he sent the crowds away. After sending the crowds away he went up into the hills by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, while the boat, by now some furlongs from land, was hard pressed by rough waves, for there was a head–wind. In the fourth watch of the night he came towards them, walking on the sea, and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. ‘It is a ghost,’ they said, and cried out in fear. But at once Jesus called out to them, saying, ‘Courage! It’s me! Don’t be afraid.’ It was Peter who answered. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘if it is you, tell me to come to you across the water.’ Jesus said, ‘Come.’ Then Peter got out of the boat and started walking towards Jesus across the water, but then noticing the wind, he took fright and began to sink. ‘Lord,’ he cried, ‘save me!’ Jesus put out his hand at once and held him. ‘You have so little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’ And as they got into the boat the wind dropped. The men in the boat bowed down before him and said, ‘Truly, you are the Son of God.’
