                    Love one another

                    3 words

                    How difficult it is

Doesn't mean we have to agree —
Doesn't mean we have to be like one another

                    It means —

                    We must sacrifice and
                    Love one another —
And do what God commands us to do

We were told by Jesus to love one another —
We can't do this if we don't stay close
                    to Him —

John 15: 5

I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him,
bears fruit in plenty;
for cut off from me you can do nothing.

                Jesus: This is My command
                            that you love one another
                            that you love Me —

I ask My people to give with an open, willing, loving
                    heart —

                To say yes
                To be holy —

Holy means you do not give into satan in punishing
                    others —

I have given so many gifts in this movement and
                    I am ignored

                I give you My life
                I give you Myself

You are responsible when you are disobedient —
when you do not do what you should —

What you have faced in trying to do My work is
a person giving into evil tendencies that get
to be deeper dark habits —
they do not recognize their sins and ask for
                        forgiveness
they ignore their actions as sinful and hurting
                        others and My work

You have a free will —

You can control your evil tendencies —

This pouting — punishing others is the act
of the will to give into that temptation —

By holding out — pouting a person allows
satan to get his way, block what is to be
                    done —
                    they really are saying —

I don't want to do it and
                    I won't —

Through force of silence, pouting, I will
be in charge — I will force my behavior —

                Satan presses down —

The more you give into this — the greater satan's
grip becomes paralyzing and crippling —

The person says — I will show you — passive-
                    aggressive —

I will control by pouting —
                                    holding out —
                                    withholding information —
                                    controlling money etc. —

Force is used in a passive way, but the
                    person aggressively attacks —
using this force — passive — to get
                    their way —

You have a free will —
You can chose to do good —

This acting out to block things that are God's
                    will through force —
                    causing confusion
disobedience against authority is wrong —

A good act should always be your motive —
                    to do Good
                    to do God's will
to honor, love and praise God —

A person who wants to manipulate and control
others in passive ways to attack aggressively
and force their way on others — grows in
these ways of wrong doing — and when others
are learning to love and give
and live in the light they have
                    chosen evil instead of good

John 15: 12-17

This is my commandment:
love one another,
as I have loved you.
No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends,
if you do what I command you.
I shall no longer call you servants,
because a servant does not know
the master’s business;
I call you friends,
because I have made known to you
everything I have learnt from my Father.
You did not choose me,
no, I chose you;
and I commissioned you
to go out and to bear fruit,
fruit that will last;
so that the Father will give you
anything you ask him in my name.
My command to you
is to love one another.

Doing evil instead of good hurts your relationship
                    with others and with Me

                There is darkness inside

There is misery and pain when one chooses
evil — acting out hatred toward others —

We are to be loving, fruitful people God
                    wants us to be —

John 15: 5

I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him,
bears fruit in plenty;
for cut off from me you can do nothing.

John 15: 16-17

You did not choose me,
no, I chose you;
and I commissioned you
to go out and to bear fruit,
fruit that will last;
so that the Father will give you
anything you ask him in my name.

John 15: 5

I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him,
bears fruit in plenty;
for cut off from me you can do nothing.

TO KNOW HIM IS TO LOVE HIM

Mary has said at Fatima that we will not have peace in the world until a sufficient number of people are consecrating their hearts to Jesus and Mary. Mary will be faithful to the promises of Fatima.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph.

Salvation History includes the story of man's willfulness and sinfulness. God is faithful with His infinite mercy and love.

God was completely happy. He created man from His goodness and love to communicate His love to His creatures.

Many times man is blind and deaf and does not see the plan. This is the plan of Salvation History that man was created to know, love, and serve God.

To love God more, we must know Him. He is revealing Himself to us in the Scriptures. We must read them to love Him more.

From the side of the first Adam came Eve. From the side of Christ came the Church.

We are fed through His Body and Blood.

end of excerpt

For what good does it do a man to do things
for himself — for his honor and glory when
he should be doing them for the honor
                    and glory of God

A woman did lots of things to get attention
and love to satisfy her — It was good
the works she did, but when she did
not gain the love from others she thought
                    she should have —
she began to punish and hate and acted
in darkness — filled with bitterness
                        to hurt others

When you give — give to give honor and
glory to Me — to My name —

I died on the cross for you
                I died for your sins

Acts 15: 22-31

Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose delegates from among themselves to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas, known as Barsabbas, and Silas, both leading men in the brotherhood, and gave them this letter to take with them:

'The apostles and elders, your brothers, send greetings to the brothers of gentile birth in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia. We hear that some people coming from here, but acting without any authority from ourselves, have disturbed you with their demands and have unsettled your minds; and so we have decided unanimously to elect delegates and to send them to you with our well-beloved Barnabas and Paul, who have committed their lives to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accordingly we are sending you Judas and Silas, who will confirm by word of mouth what we have written. It has been decided by the Holy Spirit and by ourselves not to impose on you any burden beyond these essentials: you are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from illicit marriages. Avoid these, and you will do what is right. Farewell.'

The party left and went down to Antioch, where they summoned the whole community and delivered the letter. The community read it and were delighted with the encouragement it gave them.

The Jews had lots of laws
                    They couldn't have pork
                    They had 10 Commandments —

Some thought that followers of Jesus
must follow all Jewish laws —
                    Paul said no —
                        we need 10 commandments, but
we don't have to keep many
                            of the other laws —

Some people said oh no you do have to
                    do Jewish laws

Paul said no followers of Jesus don't
                    have to follow Jewish laws
but do have to follow the commandments —

That is what is going on in the first reading —

God gives us the 10 commandments
We the followers of Jesus are to obey
                        the 10 Commandments

God gives us the priest, the Church to go
to confession and confess when we
                    sin —
We are to examine our conscience —
see the deeds we did that hurt ourselves,
                    God and others and
confess these unloving deeds we gave
into and did to others —

John 15: 12-17

This is my commandment:
love one another,
as I have loved you.
No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends,
if you do what I command you.
I shall no longer call you servants,
because a servant does not know
the master’s business;
I call you friends,
because I have made known to you
everything I have learnt from my Father.
You did not choose me,
no, I chose you;
and I commissioned you
to go out and to bear fruit,
fruit that will last;
so that the Father will give you
anything you ask him in my name.
My command to you
is to love one another.

What do you think the commandments are for —

Why does God give us commandments —

God doesn't want us to sin —

God wants us to be closer to Him —

                Parents give children commandments —

Parents are suppose to tell children what
to do to stay out of trouble

Commandments are meant to be a good thing —
                    If there wasn't commandments there
                        would be chaos

We can rebel against God and His commandments —

If we keep God's commandments we can
                    be joyful people —

God wants us to love others as He loves
                    us —

The Holy Spirit living in us helps us to
                    be loving

                Jesus isn't talking about romance
when He means loving our brothers —
He is talking about being kind
                    to others — doing God's will —

Laying down our lives for a friend —

If you saw a friend dying in the
                    swimming pool, would you try
                    to save them —
or — do you focus on yourselves and
and want everybody to love you —
While you get angry if you
feel your actions are not bringing
you love and admiration from others —

Jesus: Do you serve Me to get some affection from
others for yourself — Are you faithful
                    in marriage —
faithful in your vocation in your marriage
                        to Me

Lord — help us to be kind and loving people and
discipline our desires that are not
                    what God wants —

People who see themselves only — can
expect others to serve them —
to give them love for works they do —

Every time we are unfaithful in our
vocation to God and others —
we open a door to satan —
And then satan tries to get us to
                    sin more —

Where we could have the joy of being
as God wants — in the light —
                    we have chosen darkness —
                    willfulness — rebellion and it
                    brings pain to others —
when we sin — we bring pain to
others to God and others —

i.e. A married man flirting with other
women they are not married to
with 'roving eyes' for affection —
                    is wrong

A religious flirting with other women or
other men when they are married
                    to God —
opens a door to satan —
                    is unfaithful to God —
                    hurts their relationship with God
                        and others —

Where we should have built greater
                    love and faithfulness with God
                    and in our vocation —
                    we can sin —
do what we wanted instead of
                    doing what God wanted —

We can't just do what we want —
We must obey the commandments —

We can't act like we want when it
                    is wrong

Oh I feel like flirting — I want
affection, but I am married or
a religious — we must be pure —

                What we do —
we do for the honor and glory of God —

being unfaithful to one's vocation —
cheating in marriage to Jesus or
                        others (married persons)
                        is NOT SERVING

We choose what we want and disobey
                    God

We have a free will —
We are to choose good —

Not to sin because we want something —

                When we sin —
we hurt our relationship with God
                        and others

We are to obey the commandments
                        of God —

We are not happy when we sin —
It brings us darkness inside —
We are to discipline ourselves —
You cannot do what you want —
We must obey God's laws and
when we don't we hurt our
relationship with God and others —

We must say no to some things we
                    want when God doesn't
                    like that behavior

Forcing our ways that are wrong
                    by passive-aggressive behavior —
                    FORCE —
                    is wrong

                POUTING to get control
                Manipulation to get control
                Arguing
                Combat
                Wearing others down
                Provoking others is wrong

for a
wrong
doing

                Fr. Mike said

                    A person who wants suicide,
but doesn't want to do it —
                        is wrong provoking and provoking
                        trying to get another to
                        shoot them —

A person who wants to quit something —
                    rebelling against others so they
can get fired and then blame the
person having to do the job because
of their wrong behavior is doing wrong —

                We are to live

                    Doing good —

                    Our actions to love and
                        serve God

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

Yes — All the ends of the earth have seen
the power of God.

God has called us to be united as a family in
the Shepherds of Christ.

This is a vocation — to pray deeply for
the priests, the Church and the world and
to help support the Newsletter and the
Ministries.

Remember the image of Our Lady
of Clearwater on the building. We have
very special Fatima statues so you can
have a special place of prayer in your
homes, praying the rosary for your family
and for the priests, the Church and the
world. If you are interested in these
very special Fatima/Clearwater statues
e-mail me with your phone number
and address
info@sofc.org.

     Those using the special statues
will be united to us in a special way —
We want you to pray the Shepherds of
Christ prayers for the priests, the Church
and the world from your special place
in your home.

When people have set up a prayer corner/niche
with this statue, Fatima/Clearwater glass, they have
reported that their families have received special
blessings. With this statue it is important to pray
the prayers in the red prayer manual and consecrate
your home and family to the Sacred Heart and
Immaculate Heart.

Call Sheila or Doris about statues or go to China or
Clearwater.
