June 20th Holy Spirit Novena
Scripture selection is Day 9 Period I.

The Novena Rosary Mysteries
for June 20th are Joyful.

June is the month of the Sacred Heart.

Messenger:        Jesus loves us so much, in all our
trials we must focus on what
He wants of us — always
                            seeing the bigger picture —
                            choosing love.

                        In watching little children we
must love them, but at times
we have to discipline them and
                            they may misbehave when
                            tired.

Jesus is our rear guard and our fore-
                            guard —

                            Always watching and protecting us.

I remember what Fr. Carter told
me, not too much of anything —
or too little just as God wills.

I focus on the Holy Sacrifice of the
Mass, it gives me great joy
to focus on the consecration —
God is so good to us to give us
                            the priest.

Jesus really wants us praying for
                            the priests, the Church and
                            the world.

Refuse to Worry

January l5, 1994 4:50 a.m.

Jesus speaks: I am Jesus, Your Savior. When you are tired and weary, come to Me. I wait for you as would a doting mother, ready to kiss your little wounds and send you out to play.

I love you so, little one. Come and be with Me in your heart. Do not worry about anything concerning this book. My hand is in everything and I will see to its publishing Myself. Do you fret and fume for nothing? I am God. Why should you worry for the work of God? Do you not think I will take care of My own work? I tend to everything that needs to be done in your life. You are so precious to Me. There is not one thing that happens that I have not consented to.

To be able to be in the midst of adversity and struggle and say, "God's hand is here and He knows what is happening; I will let go of my anxiety and be at peace," is to reach a great plateau of trust in Me! Trust in Me in all your trials. Refuse to worry. What good does such a needless task perform? If I am God and I am there in every moment of your life and you truly believe it, what are you doing letting yourself worry?

Child, I have so much love for you that I died on the a cross for you. Look at Me there. I spread My arms and came for you. I love you this much, this very day. How do I make you realize how much you mean to Me? Well, I am here in everything you are experiencing. There is not one thing that happens without My consent. Do you hear Me? Think of one of your little hairs falling out. I am that hyper-vigilant. I know whence that hair came. I know the very pore on your head it fell from.

If I, Jesus, am that attentive to you and everything that is happening with you, what are you doing worrying? It is your trust and faith in Me that gives you peace. Practice letting go on all matters. Refuse to worry. Place every care in My hands and trust I will tend to it. You, My child, are so precious. I want you to know how I am truly there, loving you and watching you and guarding you.

I watch you like a doting mother lest you stumble and fall and lose your way. In that little trial, practice turning it over to Me. Trust in Me. It is an act of your will to truly trust Me or to worry about your problem.

Listen to Me saying, "Child, I love you, child, I am love, child, don't worry. Turn your burden over to Me." You can be free of worry if you let go. Sail away in your hot air balloon. Drop the package of worries at the foot of My cross and sail away in a trouble-free sky.

You are lifted to such heights in My love! I am so powerful. I can do all things. I am working in your life at every moment. I never leave you abandoned. Take this opportunity to get closer to Me.

It is in your trials you are taught how to trust. Do not curse the dark nights. Come to Me and let Me light your way. Take each trial as an opportunity to get closer to Me. Ascend the ladder to trust in the Lord. You develop trust a step at a time. Trust must be developed by you. Pray that you will learn all the lessons on trust I am sending you.

You are so favored, My little sweet one. I love you. I love you. I love you. Come to Me weary and leave carefree. Only I can take a burdened heart and give it rest. Do not go to your brothers and complain. Keep reading My letters to you (December 30, 1993). Know which letters are those that set you free of worry.

Note: In His December 30 letter He said, "It is in acceptance of all things that you are drawn closer to Me. Do not try to throw back into My face the little opportunity for grace you receive. Child, I am ever by your side and I am ever teaching you. Know that My hand is in everything you are experiencing. I am vigilant and by your side. Nothing happens to you that I have not consented to. I love you. Trust in Me."

Messenger: Jesus, I trust in you!

Jesus speaks: Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I am there with you. Turn to Me. Turn to Me alone and I will give you rest. Oh, you, who are heavily burdened, I will give you rest!

Picture of the Sacred Heart of JesusDo Not Worry

May 3, 1994 5:00a.m.

My dear child, what are you doing? Do not worry. Put all doubt aside and let Me comfort your heart. I am God. This life is very short. You do not focus on the things of this world.

Satan wants to get you focused on yourself always. Pray to be led by Me. Live for love of Me. Live only to draw all close to My Sacred Heart. Operate for love of your brothers. You will not become prideful or boastful if you constantly focus on bringing others close to Me. That is your goal, to draw others to My Sacred Heart, to tell them of My ardent love, to lead others to My arms. Your job is to promote the love of Jesus. Do not be smart in your speech. Be loving. Operate to draw others close to Me.

Do not be hurried. When someone approaches you, speak of My love. I am sending people to you. A few words from these letters can help a hurting soul. Do not focus on yourself at all. Focus totally on My letters to them. Love, love, love!

If you feel yourself getting irritated at your brother, pray for him and yourself. Pray to act Christ-like.

Do not be rushed. You are going nowhere. The love you give this day is all that matters. How did you preach the gospel in your being this day?

I am the Way. I am the Truth. I am the Life. I am your precious Jesus. Oh, how I love you, little one. Tell all how tender I am and how I wait for them and want to share Myself with them. I am the tenderest of hearts.

Mary is very close to you. She is so loving to her children! We are guarding your every move. Let go into the loving arms of Me and My mother. It is a fact that we are truly by your side, loving you and guarding you. Angels go where you walk. Pray to us constantly. We are always there.

Continue to focus on your union with Me. Pray the prayers, become selfless. You are not in this in any way to promote yourself. Constantly pray the Prayer for Union with Me. You must remain selfless or Satan moves in.

Let each day unfold. Do not be anxious. Let go. You are going nowhere. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and I walk with you wherever you go. Feel My presence by your side, talk to Me, walk with Me. I am your best friend. Love Me, little one. I love you so and I want to be united to you. No human can be in union with you as I can. Let go and let it happen. Focus on Me and Me alone. You will love others when you are focused on Jesus. Love is from the heart. It is action. Do not hold back your emotions. Love Me, love your brothers!

Oh, how I love you, My sweet, little, beautiful children, created by My Father. You are His handiwork. Honor the creation the Father has made. Be loving to one another.

You are all His creations and I would die this day for your brothers. Guard your thoughts. Only think pure, loving thoughts. If you are troubled, pray. I will handle you and your problems. I love you so.

Is Your Glass Half-Full or Half-Empty?

April 18, 1994

Messenger: How is your day? Is your glass half-full or half-empty? This is the gauge to how you are feeling inside. Are you seeing all the blessings He is pouring out to you-your health, your food, your loved ones, all the blessings that you have each day? Or are you coming from a place of never having enough? Do you feel irritable and feel that nothing is right, that everything is wrong?

Is the glass half-full or is it half-empty? Do you look for things that are right in your world or do you look for things that are wrong? Do you know that God gives to you exactly what you need and that it is in your acceptance of these things that you grow in your relationship with Him?

Is the glass half-full or half-empty? Do I look at the world and see the love of God in my brothers? Do I look at the world and see the world as not giving to me?

God has all you need. God provides us with our needs. The world is hurting. The world is not that by which we are filled. The world cries from its own pain. How can the world fill us?

We crave the love of God. Our souls can only be satisfied by the love of God. When we see the world as a place that needs God's love, we come to the world with a full glass.

How is your glass today? Is it half-full or half-empty? If you go to our beloved Jesus, He fills you with His love. His love is emitted from your very being. When you spend time with Him and remain fixed in Him, there is peace in His love.

The biggest contribution you can give to yourself and this world is to busy yourself with your relationship with Jesus. Be an empty vessel (glass) ready to be filled by His love.

Exodus 17:8-15

(A battle against the Amalekites)

The Amalekites then came and attacked Israel at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua, 'Pick some men and tomorrow morning go out and engage Amalek. I, for my part, shall take my stand on the hilltop with the staff of God in my hand.' Joshua did as Moses had told him and went out to engage Amalek, while Moses, Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill. As long as Moses kept his arms raised, Israel had the advantage; when he let his arms fall, the advantage went to Amalek. But Moses' arms grew heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him and on this he sat, with Aaron and Hur supporting his arms on each side.

Thus his arms remained unwavering till sunset, and Joshua defeated Amalek, putting their people to the sword. Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Write this down in a book to commemorate it, and repeat it over to Joshua, for I shall blot out all memory of Amalek under heaven. Moses then built an altar and named it Yahweh-Nissi

Messenger: Moses spread his arms. As long as he held them up they won the battle. He had to have his arms held up. We, too, have to have our arms held up. Many of those around us help to hold us up when the going is tough.

Jesus spread His arms and gave His all. He is the New Adam. He did not have to be propped up. We see His silhouetted Body shining as a great light against the darkened sky. He hung there on the cross until He died, the Light of the World. He surrendered completely and chose love.

We are tainted in our natures and always falling. We surrender and then we have to put our arms down because we are weary. We keep working, others who are loving to us help us. They act like Jesus to us. Our problem comes when we feel we are on this spiritual journey alone. We say, "I don't need anyone. I can do it alone." This is pride. Many times I do need the ones around me that love me to help me when the going gets rough.

Then our pride comes in and says "I shouldn't have depended on them, I should have been self-sustaining."

I am sorry my brothers, I want with my whole heart to be in control of myself and be like Jesus with the help of His grace, but the going gets tough, the battle is harsh. I become weary and I begin to let down my arms and the priest helps me in the battle, those I love help me in the battle to stay forever focused on the finish line.

Jesus is my focus. He is within my whole heart and soul. My desire is to love Him and do His will. This is indeed a fierce battle. I know the finish line, and the devil throws obstacles in my path as I run with love in my heart to that finish line.

When I am tired, my imperfections surface and I spray my anger on those I love. Where there was great love and patience, all of a sudden I feel division in my heart toward my loved one over a simple issue and the devil moves in for the kill.

No matter how hard I try and how much I love Jesus, there is always the issue of hurting the ones I love because of "unmet needs" and shattered expectations, or because of feelings of being less than important to someone I wish to stay deeply connected to, or because of feelings of being unloved by that person.

It is in mutual love we help each other when we are weary. It is indeed great holiness to be, with God's grace, in control of ourselves most of the time, but in my attempts of a lifetime of trying to be more holy and like Jesus, I fall and I depend on the love of those around me to help me through my struggles.

I am not here alone. With my whole heart and whole soul I love Jesus and live to please God, but the tainted human nature is with me, and I stumble in the dark nights over the same furniture locked in my past that has tripped me up before.

I feel the desire so deep within me to give love, give love, give love, serve, serve, serve, but there is that mutual love that I deeply share with a few around me. It is this deep interaction with another or others that especially helps me to grow in a deeper love relationship with God and all others. It is God's will that we grow in relationship by interacting with others. If we exclude others and just interact with God we do not grow properly in our love relationships. It is not His will we only go to the tabernacle or spend time only with God and keep our distance from others. If this is the case, we do not really bring our imperfections to light. We think we are perfect and there is not another human to tell us differently, because we just do not allow anyone to get close enough to interact with us.

God does intend us to walk hand-in-hand, interacting and depending on one another. When we are hurt and bleeding in a relationship, many times we wish to close our arms and close the door to others. It is then we see Jesus on the cross, His arms outstretched. He continued to love those who pierced Him. He did not close His arms. He hung, arms outstretched to the end.

We must keep our eyes on the finish line. It is necessary to have our arms outstretched in loving surrender to Him to win the battle. Many times we are weary and do not do that. In interaction and in loving, our brothers and sisters help us hold our arms outstretched so we will win the battle.

The second I begin to think, "I don't need you, it's 'me and God' " and "I can do it", we are closing our arms to that loving surrender. We are the tainted children of Eve. We need God to make it to the finish line, but it is not God alone that we must love. In the normal progression of love, there must be healthy interaction with those we love. Love is a gift from God, I give to you and you give to me. We help each other to go to the finish line, growing more and more in His ways as we learn to honestly love each other in mutual love. It is possible for us to live in loving harmony as the Father intended us to live. The more we die to our imperfect ways, the more we merge toward oneness. Jealousy and lack of trust ruin a relationship. Suspicion and control ruin a relationship.

Christ is the perfect Lover. He is the suffering servant. He is the One Who gave His all for those beneath Him. He opened His arms wide and died for those who pierced Him. A person in authority, e.g., a husband, must love his wife. A priest in the Church must love his flock. He is firm and stands in the truth and in what is right, but He serves. Our Lord says the Good Shepherd laid down His life for His flock, the hired man runs away. He tells us that if we love we must love as He did. He laid down His life for those He loved. We may not be able to literally lay down our lives for many, but we pray and offer ourselves as a sacrifice to the Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the brothers we love. This is how we lay our lives down for our brothers in sacrifice and prayer.

Jesus said in a message, "I give you your life to learn how to love." He has commanded us to love God with our whole heart, our whole soul, our whole being and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

God is love. He created us in His image and likeness. We have our whole lives to learn to love God, our neighbor, and ourselves as God wishes.

This is the Commandment He gives. We cannot serve Him in a box. Even the monk has a great love for himself and all of mankind. Living according to God's will is loving God and one another. We are learning to give love and receive love. We are dependent upon one another. I am not perfect, you are not perfect, we are growing in the ways of loving and learning to be more perfected through interacting, loving relationships with one another.

I cannot project my unhappiness on you. I must move the furniture in my own dark corners of my heart that I continually bump into.

We must sweep away the debris in our hearts. We must pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and pray for the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Love brings joy.

1 Corinthians 13:4-13

Love is always patient and kind; love is never jealous; love is not boastful or conceited, it is never rude and never seeks its own advantage, it does not take offence or store up grievances. Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds its joy in the truth. It is always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.

Love never comes to an end. But if there are prophecies, they will be done away with; if tongues, they will fall silent; and if knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know only imperfectly, and we prophesy imperfectly; but once perfection comes, all imperfect things will done away with. When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and see things as a child does, and think like a child; but now that I have become a adult, I have finished with all childish ways. Now we see only reflections in a mirror, mere riddles, but then we shall be seeing face to face. Now, I can know only imperfectly; but then I shall know just as fully as I am myself known.

As it is, these remain: faith, hope, and love, the three of them; and the greatest of them is love.

Jesus speaks: This is the message I give to you today through My messenger and the Holy Scriptures. I call you to love God. I call you to love one another as you love yourselves. I call you to perfection.

Messenger: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are united in perfect love. We fail to merge into oneness because of our imperfections.

Relationship with others is a tool that helps us to grow in greater loving ways. Through relationship with God and others and self, our love becomes more perfected.

My brothers, humbly I write thus to you, that I too may grow and walk more in the ways of the Lord. For the journey is long and it is a difficult one--to die to the selfish ways in order to be likened to the all perfect God. It is in love I write and beg His grace be showered so abundantly upon us that we will be greater lovers, more likened to Him.

Note: Jesus told me:
When I am screaming, it is my poison coming out of me.
     I am filled with poison!!
What comes out of my mouth comes from my heart.

Jesus speaks: My child,

You are filled with unmet needs that you bring to a relationship. It is in loving one another and in bearing with one another's faults that you help one another grow in more perfect ways of loving. Persons contain all their love experiences from the beginning of childhood.

If your children are not taught to trust in loving relationships with parents and others, the child will bring this childish flaw to every loving relationship. Children, (I call you children for you are learning the ways of loving as children of the Father) learn trust in loving relationships by trusting others. Many children are so childish in their loving capacities. From the beginning of your life you have learned about love relationships by those relationships in your lives. Parents who do not affirm and encourage their children, who are sick themselves and not knowing mature ways of loving, teach children dysfunctional ways of relating and loving.

I give you My love, I give you one another. You must grow always in a more perfected way of loving. You must be rooted in love for God, you must love one another and you must have a healthy self love. If any of the three are missing, you will have tremendous problems in loving.

Parents are teachers. Unless they have grown in more perfect ways of loving, they teach as their parents taught them. That is why I ask you to circulate the Holy Spirit Novena as soon as possible. People must pray for generational healing. You need healing in your hearts.

I want you to grow in your ways of loving so that you will more unite in holy love and be more likened to your God. It is through a deep examination of conscience, twice daily, with God's grace, you will see some of your unloving ways.

You are unloving to your God, to one another and to yourselves. You do not treasure the gift God has given you in giving you yourself. You are so precious to the Father. You are His creation.

I wish you to tell one another you are sorry for offending one another at the end of the day. I do not wish you to sacrifice truth, ever, this is not love. Love is strong, tough and truthful. Oh child I do love you so very much.

Jesus

Messenger: When I do not feel good inside, many times I blame it on the person I am closest to.

Jesus speaks: It is in the examination of conscience, in recognizing all that others do for you, that you will grow in holiness.

In reading the message "Is your glass half-full or half-empty?" Blue Book III (please include here) you will see things differently.

Jesus speaks: I beg you to live by the Blue Books. You will not survive as a member of the core group in the Shepherds of Christ unless you carry the 3rd Blue Book with you. I wish you to circulate it extensively. The devil's means of attack is to divide hearts which need to stay united. He wants you to be angry and divided with your brothers. The third Blue Book will help you. The more you grow in deeper intimate relationships and merge toward oneness, the more your imperfections will surface. When in an argument with someone you love, pray the speedy novena (9 Hail Marys) and read Blue Book III. This will help you. I give you My letters of love in God's Blue Book III for this purpose. Do not worry about problems, give your cares to Me.

I love you,
Jesus

Humility

Jesus: "My beloved priest-companion, keep telling My people of the great necessity of humility in the spiritual life. My saints, oh, how they realized the importance of this virtue!

"The world is filled with pride. Pride is the refusal to serve God. It is the refusal to do My Father's will. There is so much sin in today's world because there is so much pride.

"Tell My people to come to My Heart each day. There I will teach them the lesson of humility. There I will show them the riches which flow from humility! There I will teach them that the more they grow in humility, the more peace and joy and happiness they experience. Yes, let My people come to My Heart and learn these lessons. I am Lord and Master, and I desire that all respond to My request. I love My people with a tremendous love, and in this love I give them this message!"

Reflection: Humility is an important aspect of the Gospel message. Following are three such examples:

"Come to me, all you who labor and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light" (Matthew 11:28-30).

"Anyone who chooses the world for his friend turns himself into God's enemy. Surely you don't think scripture is wrong when it says: the spirit which he sent to live in us wants us for himself alone? But he has been even more generous to us, as scripture says: God opposes the proud but he gives generously to the humble" (James 4:4-6).

"What do you have that was not given to you? And if it was given, how can you boast as though it were not?" (1 Corinthians 4:7).
