A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb,
the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

               Pray for 5 urgent intentions.

Pray for a particular bishop and cardinal.

               Pray for the pope.

               We desperately need funds.
                Please pray for this.

June 24, 2002

Mary speaks:  Please come to Florida July 5, 2002.

                This is an important anniversary.

There was a vision last month on the

                                Feast of the Sacred Heart.

TO APOSTLES OF THE SHEPHERDS OF CHRIST

Jesus speaks:    My dear apostles, I ask you to go to daily

Mass and spend your hour before

                                the tabernacle.

Try to pray the 6:20 prayers daily, if
not at 6:20 do them when you can.

Please stop on the hour and pray, even
if for a few minutes, one minute.

                                Pray the rosary every day.

Pray to the Father, in My Name, in
                                    the Holy Spirit.

It is so powerful to pray in My Name.

Pray for the Reign of My Sacred Heart
                                    and triumph of Mary's Immaculate
                                    Heart.

Pray in My Name for this.

                                Many have become very busy.

Apostles must stick to this directed prayer
                                    life.

Write a letter to My Father and review all the
                                    blessings you have received.

                                    Say thanks to God.

Many times people focus on others and think if
others change they will be happy.

                                Examine your own conscience.

Ask to be given grace to see your own faults
                                    and grow in greater perfection.

Why blame somebody else for your bad mood.

Are you controlled by what others say to you?

If you are, satan can work to "push buttons"
and you can change as the wind.

                                I am your strength.

Don't give into satan to change your day
by prompting someone to say something
to you that may lead you to
                                    being upset.

                                    Don't give into satan.

                                    I am your rear guard.

                                    I am your fore guard.

And I am with you, always.

                                I love you so much.

Oh China, Indiana, I thank you for your work.

Rejoice and praise your heavenly Father for the
                                    gifts given to you.

What good does it do anyone, if they try to fix
                                    the world and are unloving?

Messenger:        I had a vision of China.

It was lighted so brightly in the night.

The light was shinning so brightly in the dark
                                night.

Jesus speaks:    Oh China, you are a light to the darkness—
continue to spread My Good News and
                                Newsletter.

Isaiah Chapter 5

            The song of the vineyard

Let me sing my beloved
the song of my friend for his vineyard.

My beloved had a vineyard
on a fertile hillside.
He dug it, cleared it of stones,
and planted it with red grapes.
In the middle he built a tower,
he hewed a press there too.
He expected it to yield fine grapes:
wild grapes were all it yielded.

And now, citizens of Jerusalem
    and people of Judah,
I ask you to judge between me
    and my vineyard.
What more could I have done
    for my vineyard
that I have not done?
Why, when I expected it
    to yield fine grapes,
has it yielded wild ones?

Very well, I shall tell you
what I am going to do to my vineyard:
I shall take away its hedge,
for it to be grazed on,
and knock down its wall,
for it to be trampled on.
I shall let it go to waste, unpruned, undug,
overgrown by brambles
    and thorn–bushes,
and I shall command the clouds
to rain no rain on it.
Now, the vineyard of Yahweh Sabaoth
    is the House of Israel,
and the people of Judah
    the plant he cherished.
He expected fair judgement,
    but found injustice,
uprightness, but found cries of distress.

   Curses

Woe to those who add house to house
and join field to field
until there is nowhere left
and they are the sole inhabitants
    of the country.
Yahweh Sabaoth has sworn this
    in my hearing,
‘Many houses will be brought to ruin,
great and fine ones left untenanted;
for ten acres of vineyard
    will yield only one barrel,
and ten bushel of seed
    will yield only one bushel.’

Woe to those who get up early
    to go after strong drink,
and stay up late at night
    inflamed with wine.
Nothing but harp and lyre,
    tambourine and pipe,
and wine for their drinking bouts.

Never a thought for the works of Yahweh,
never a glance
for what his hands have done.
That is why my people is in exile,
    for want of perception;
her dignitaries starving,
    her populace parched with thirst.
That is why Sheol opens wide its throat
and gapes with measureless jaw
and down go her noblemen and populace
and her loud revellers merry to the last!

Human nature has been humbled,
    humankind brought low,
and the eyes of the proud
    have been humbled.
Yahweh Sabaoth is the more respected
    for his judgement,
God the Holy One
has displayed his holiness by his justice!
Now the lambs will graze
    in their old pastures,
and the fields laid waste by fat cattle
    will feed the kids.

Woe to those who drag guilt along
    by the reins of duplicity,
drag along sin as though with a cart rope;
to those who say,
‘Why doesn’t he do his work quickly
so that we can see it;
why doesn’t the Holy One
    of Israel’s design
        hurry up and come true
so that we can experience it?’

Woe to those who call what is bad, good,
    and what is good, bad,
who substitute darkness for light
    and light for darkness,
who substitute bitter for sweet
    and sweet for bitter.

Woe to those who think themselves wise
and believe themselves enlightened.

Woe to those whose might lies
    in wine bibbing,
their heroism in mixing strong drinks,
who acquit the guilty for a bribe
and deny justice to the upright.
Yes, as the flame devours the stubble,
as the straw flares up and disappears,
their root will be like decay
and their shoot be carried off like dust,
for having rejected the law
    of Yahweh Sabaoth,
for having despised the word
of the Holy One of Israel.

   Yahweh’s anger

This is why Yahweh’s anger
    has blazed out against his people;
and he has raised his hand against them
    to strike them;
why the mountains have shuddered
and why corpses are lying like dung
    in the streets.
After all this, his anger is not spent.
No, his hand is still raised!

   Yahweh summons the invaders

He hoists a signal for a distant nation,
he whistles them up
    from the ends of the earth;
and see how swift, how fleet they come!

None of them tired,
    none of them stumbling,
none of them asleep or drowsy,
none of them with belt unfastened,
none of them with broken sandal–strap.

Their arrows are sharpened,
their bows all strung,
their horses’ hoofs
    you would think were flint
and their wheels, a whirlwind!

Their roar is like that of a lioness,
like fierce young lions they roar,
growling they seize their prey
and carry it off,
with no one to prevent it,

growling at it, that day,
like the growling of the sea.
Only look at the country:
    darkness and distress,
and the light turned to darkness
    by the clouds.

Isaiah 9: 1-6

The people that walked in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on the inhabitants of a country
    in shadow dark as death
        light has blazed forth.
You have enlarged the nation,
    you have increased its joy;
they rejoice before you
as people rejoice at harvest time,
as they exult
when they are dividing the spoils.

For the yoke that weighed on it,
    the bar across its shoulders,
the rod of its oppressor,
these you have broken
as on the day of Midian.

For all the footgear
    clanking over the ground
and all the clothing rolled in blood,
will be burnt, will be food for the flames.

For a son has been born for us,
a son has been given to us,
and dominion has been laid
    on his shoulders;
and this is the name he has been given,
‘Wonder–Counsellor, Mighty–God,
Eternal–Father, Prince–of–Peace’
to extend his dominion
    in boundless peace,
over the throne of David
    and over his kingdom
to make it secure and sustain it
in fair judgement and integrity.
From this time onwards and for ever,
the jealous love of Yahweh Sabaoth
    will do this.

Ezekiel 34: 11-16

“For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shall take care of my flock and look after it. As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shall I look after my sheep. I shall rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness. I shall bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shall gather them back from the countries and bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the inhabited parts of the country. I shall feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground. There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel. I myself shall pasture my sheep, I myself shall give them rest–declares the Lord Yahweh. I shall look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. I shall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them."

John 10: 12-16

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
And there are other sheep I have
that are not of this fold,
and I must lead these too.
They too will listen to my voice,
and there will be only one flock,
one shepherd.

Peace and Health to you all.

I am happy to assure you all that I have
received the precious books that you have so generously sent to

I went to ____ and ____ borders to baptize and confirm. The

Dear Rev. Father,

I have received copies of the book Shepherds of Christ Spirituality 2 Newsletters by Father Edward Carter S.J. Thank you very much. I have gone through the book. I am happy say that it is good book to grow in devotion to Jesus, the Good Shepherd. The scriptural reflections, theological insights and spiritual thoughts given in the book are much inspiring. The book is a scholarly and devotional presentation on many subjects like of love of God, Eucharist, consecration etc. The love and mercy of God are beautifully treated in the book. I congratulate the editor and publishers of this devotional book.

I have given the copies of the book as compliments to different seminaries in the diocese so that the coming generation may read and get inspired of the book.

I wish you all the best in all your apostolate there. May Jesus bless you abundantly!

Here is a homily Fr. Carter gave about China, Indiana

Father Carter's Talk
February 18, 2000

Well, what should I say to you. It comes to my heart that I should start off telling you about the Holy Family’s house, the little home they lived in, in Nazareth which is now situated/surrounded by a Basilica Church in Loreto, Italy. And I had the privilege of visiting that shrine. How did their house get there—their little home all the way from Nazareth to Loreto, Italy? There’re different theories on it. One which seems very plausible to me is that during one of the crusades, when the crusaders were in the Holy Land, they had great reason to fear that the home of the Holy Family, the little house would be destroyed by the enemies of Christianity. So they dismantled it and brought it back by ship and then it was reassembled there at Loreto. And there is scientific proof to back this up, for instance they say that the stone out of which the Holy Family home/house was built is that which is used in the Holy Land and it’s not indigenous at all to Italy. So I really do believe that is the house where Jesus and Mary lived at Nazareth. And one of the first things that strikes you about it is how tiny it is—very, very smallone more indication that Our Lord did not need the trappings of this earth, wealth and palatial surroundings and so forth to prove to show His greatness. He was and is great simply because what He is in Himself, who He is. And we get the same lesson, that’s one of the lessons which comes out of His birth at Bethlehem; the kings of this earth come into this world with great palatial showings and all the fanfare which surrounds the life of royalty and yet the King of kings comes in this world in the simplest surroundings. Again He teaches us many lessons from this, one of them certainly is where does true greatness lie. It doesn’t lie in the things which are outside of you, the things which surround you, it lies within your very depths.

I think all of you here at China give a great witness to life of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Nazareth and to the birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem. Your life is so simple. It is so hidden and yet like the life of Jesus at Nazareth, it is meant to be redemptive. His life certainly was redemptive those first 33 years of His existence. And I think I said in a homily to you some months ago, that if we had it to plan we certainly would have arranged, I’m sure all of us, Jesus’ life here on earth differently. I don’t think in the depths of our heart if we’re honest with ourselves, if the Father says, “you map out the way you think Jesus, My Son, should live here below in the time allotted,” who of us, who of us would have had Him hidden away for 10/11ths of that mortal life span. We would have given much more time to His public life. And here Jesus under the Father teaches us a great lesson—that we share in His redemptive efforts proportionate to the depth of our love and as that life of love is supported by faith and hope so Jesus takes the most humble places and He takes the most simple living people and He uses those simple places and those simple people to accomplish great things. So glory in your existence here at China, in its hiddenness and ask for the faith to realize more and more the great good you are doing for the Movement and the Church and the world.

There are so many lives of the saints which are at witness to this hidden life of Jesus. And the one that usually comes first to my mind is that of St. Therese of Lisieux, who lived that very, very very hidden life in the cloistered convent at Lisieux and only for nine short years. She entered, as I’m sure you know it, with special dispensation from the pope. She entered at 15 and died at 24. And the good she accomplished in those nine years at Carmel, that was already achieved before she was canonized and people came to know about her great life of holiness. But during those nine short years at Carmel she was doing so so so much to help in the salvation of souls. And her life was so ordinary, so much so in its external framework, so much so that I think it’s, if I remember correctly, her sisters—the nuns with whom she lived with in the Carmelite convent there were surprised when the her cause for beatification was introduced. And why was her life so great—because she did the simplest things, everything with the great depth of faith and hope and love, those gifts which the Holy Spirit showered her with in tremendous depth.

And so your life here at China is in such great imitation of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Nazareth and such great saints as St. Therese of Lisieux, those saints who lived such a hidden existence. And so first of all I thank you for persevering in this life. I think I have some more than ordinary insight into the greatness you are contributing towards the Movement and the Church and the world. So I thank you very profusely and I also highly encourage you to persevere in this life and to pray for the grace to get a deepened insight into just how great your life is here at China for the cause of Christ.

God’s ways are not our ways nor His thoughts are not our thoughts. And so contrary to the way that so much of the world thinks and even many in the Church it puts such great emphasis on those activities which attract public attention and acclaim and so forth. We know that God looks first of all to the depth of love, a love of His will, the depth of loving conformity to His will—this is how He measures the success of a life. The external framework of which that life is lived as it were as secondary, always secondary to the depth of faith, hope and love, a depth of a loving conformity of one’s will to the Father’s will in Christ, through Christ in the Spirit with a prayerful assistance of Mary our Mother. Amen.

So in summary, thank you for persevering in your life here. Secondly, pray for a deepened insight into the greatness of your life here, what it means for the Church, the Movement and the world. And thirdly, pray for a great sense of joy for the vocation, the calling Jesus has given you, at least at this time of your life, to your life here in China.

Holy Family of Nazareth pray for us.

Heavenly Father, I ask your most special blessings on your specially chosen ones here as I have just put before them and requesting them, suggesting to them to pray for an increased light of their greatness here and strength to live by that light. So I ask You Heavenly Father abundantly to give them that grace. Give them great sense of peace and joy here despite the trials they have to endure as Your Son showed us suffering, even deep suffering is not contrary to peace in the Lord. Father, let them know how special they are to You. Bless them most abundantly now and all the days of their life. Father, I put this petition before you through your Son Jesus in the Holy Spirit with the prayerful assistance of Mary our Mother. Amen.

May the Blessing of Almighty God, Father Son and Holy Spirit descend upon you and remain forever. Amen.

Messenger:        Once a month we have the Eucharist exposed and
pray for the world for 48 hours.

                            China is the Eucharistic Center.

Our Lord called it His Eucharistic Center for
                                the world.

From there has gone the Priestly Newsletter Book II,
much is about the Eucharist. It has gone to so
many priests, and bishops and cardinals.

I ask you to pray for those in China, Indiana.

I ask you to pray for those at all the
Shepherds of Christ Centers, Morrow and
                                especially Florida.

Please pray for vocations to all 7 categories.
                            Our main focus is prayer—intercession
for the priests, the Church and the world, but
because of the mailings and the trade show
and the funds we must work "non-stop"
because there are so few of us.|

Please pray for us, pray for grace and financial
help to do things. We work really hard to
do a lot and save money to get the Newsletter
and the Prayer Books out and spread the
pictures and Blue Books and Rosary
                                Meditations.

If you are an Apostle of the Eucharistic Heart
of Jesus, please be faithful to that
                                commitment. Begin a prayer chapter
in your church, that will help you
do the prayers in Church, it will help
your parish and help others, this is
                                a promise of Jesus.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

  1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
  2. For the Pope.
  3. For all bishops of the world.
  4. For all priests.
  5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
  6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
  7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
  8. For all members of the human family.
  9. For all souls in purgatory.

Messenger:         All that I do I do for the honor and glory of God.
                            Purity is the answer.
I love the scripture verse today—

 Matthew 10: 27

What I say to you in the dark, tell in the daylight; what you hear in whispers, proclaim from the housetops.

June 23, 2002 message continues

Messenger:         What is God's will for me?
A person with a disease has limitations.
If God allows them to suffer but they make
everyone else pay for their suffering
it hurts the body of Christ.

We do not know why God may allow a
child of three to get cancer, but a
small child may teach many ailing
                                adults, lessons about suffering.

A little child may skip and hop and run
so fast and a woman of seventy
                                may be crippled with arthritis.

Does the old woman look to blame someone
for her discontent or does she accept her
state in life and watch the children
run and play and are happy with
                                them?

I remember something I heard about someone
looking out a window—what do you
                                see day after day when you look out the window;
                                mud or stars?
Some people can create a case against
another to relieve their own misery
                                inside.

Oh thank God that He loves us and forgives
us for the times we are unloving
                                and hurt others.

Victims—when you feel bad, do you look
for something to change your mood?
Do you blame others and create chaos
to blame your own misery on.

The bottom line is this, the very hairs of our
head are numbered and God loves us
                                with an unfathomable love.

Writing a letter to God the Father everyday and
reviewing all the gifts He gave us that
                                day can change our lives.
                            What is inside?
Were you always sort of miserable dealing
with others wherever you are and
it was their fault you were never
                                happy, or so you thought?

Now you can medicate your pain with
fats and colas and sex and
all the mood altering things, but
when your health gives out and you have
to go back to the pain inside are you
going to face it and offer it up and
ask God to help you to live for the honor
and glory of God or are you going to
blame someone for  your misery inside
and strike out at others trying to
                                prove your point?

I like the scripture verse about
what you do in the dark will be
brought to the light. Some people
                            talk about others proving their
case and not realizing how they
are hurting God's plan and doing the
                            work of the evil one.

                            Love is tough many times.
Love seeks the will of God.
Many times people do things just for
themselves that blocks a big thing
                                that others may accomplish.
I pray that we receive the grace to see
that we must be accountable for
                                our actions to others.

The truth is that no other thing or human
person can ever truly make us happy
                                inside.

We all have our problems from the past,
but we all have to work on our
relationships of growing to be more
perfected as God wants us to. To
                                blame somebody else unjustly, to
vent frustrations of not feeling good
can lead to a chain reaction that effects
                                a lot of people.

God has given us great gifts and we are
going to be held accountable for the
gifts He has given to us.

Do you remember the story, the
man had a bad day and he comes home
and hollers at the wife and she
hollers at the children and they
                            kick the dog.

God has given us great gifts. He
expects us to act in love. I pray to
God that those who give into the devil
and hurt others recognize that they can block
a lot of work that can affect the world because
this is a big plan Jesus has given to us and it
                            effects billions of souls.

Jesus is the one we are working for, not
a particular person. I don't want to stand
before God and tell Him I blocked work
                            He wanted accomplished, like the
                            Priestly Newsletter Book II  because
I gave up coke one day or didn't feel good, so
I blamed it on somebody else which ended
up blocking work God wanted accomplished.

I write as a messenger of God.
The main focus in China, Indiana per a
message from Jesus today, is to circulate the
Priestly Newsletter as He so directs. This is
the main focus of our Movement. Others praying
                            should support this.
The prayer life, the way of life is not to be
                            sacrificed.

I want to write you a message to tell
you of the billions of souls who have been
affected because of the sacrifices of those
in China, Indiana I want to request special prayers
because the devil is very angry at us.
I want to say a great part of the world
does not believe Jesus is the Son of God.
I ask you as a messenger from God to pray for
yourself that you thank God for the gifts
He has given to you and pray to be faithful
to this call He has given and pray to do His will.

I will write again about myself. I
quit teaching math at the end of 1993. If I
hadn't God's Blue Books would not have
been written. I had to dedicate my life to this
mission. I am not asking anyone to quit their job
I am asking them to do God's will for them.
I ask you to be faithful to the calling God
has given you. I ask you to offer up your
hard trials and not try to find vengeance
on someone else. I ask you to focus on
                            this writing by Fr. Carter.
The bottom line is—are we "dumping
on others"? We must deal with our own
                            bad moods.

                            Excerpt from Response in Christ
                                            by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J., p.173-174

                                           ELEVEN Other Christian Virtues

3. Temperance

If fortitude allows us to relate properly to the difficult, the virtue of temperance permits us to regulate properly the pleasurable in our lives. Temperance moderates and controls the tendency we have toward sense-pleasure. In giving us this virtue, God has actually provided for our greater enjoyment of sense-pleasure. For moderation increases our capacity to enjoy. The temperate person can enjoy a glass of beer more than a drunkard. He uses drink as a rational being is supposed to, and he accordingly receives the enjoyment which God has attached to the proper use of things.

Since our two strongest inclinations in this matter of sense-pleasure are toward food and drink and the use of our sexual powers, temperance is especially concerned with these areas. Human experience emphasizes the great necessity of this virtue. God has attached great pleasure to the functions of taste and sex precisely because the preservation of the human race depends on them. Because of the type of pleasure connected with taste and sex, a lack of control here can lead to grave excesses and create great obstacles to the Christian life. As regards excesses involving the palate, the obvious one is the misuse of alcoholic beverages. In numerous cases the abuse of strong drink is due to the disease of alcoholism. It is not to our purpose to discuss this problem here. There already exist many fine treatments of this question which the interested reader can consult.

Temperance or control of one's sexual faculties is, we know, called chastity. All are called to their form of chastity – the non-married laity, the married, the priest and the religious. It is a question of using or not using sex according to God's will. But as contemporary thought on chastity in the various states of life emphasizes, this virtue should always be seen in terms of love. Whatever one's vocation, the practice of his particular kind of chastity is meant to enable him to love ever more authentically God and man. When the Christian practices chastity according to his state in life, he is meant to give testimony to this fact. The truly chaste person is one who is trying to love properly.

There are various other types of sense-pleasure besides those involving taste and sexual enjoyment. God has provided for our recreation and relaxation in so many ways, and often the senses are involved. God wants us to have our proper share of this type of enjoyment, and the exercise of the virtue of temperance insures that we pursue our enjoyment according to His will. Let us allow ourselves needed pleasure and recreation. On the other hand, we who live in an affluent society have to be aware that our culture is peculiarly open to excess in this matter of sense-pleasure. If we do not avoid this excess, we not only harm ourselves, but in various ways we lessen our capacity to serve others. For instance, there are some Christians who waste precious time in the pursuit of excessive pleasure. If they devoted this time in some form of service to their fellowman, would not this be a different world?  When we seriously consider the matter, is it not really tragic that a Christian can waste so much time in frivolous and useless activity while so many crucial needs of man go unattended?

            4. Justice

The virtue of justice disposes us to render to others what is their due. One obvious application of justice concerns our respecting the ownership rights of others in regard to their material goods. Justice also forbids us to inflict physical harm on others without sufficient reason. An example of this type of justifying reason would be the case of legitimate self-defense. Justice also bids us to honor the good name of others by avoiding sins of slander and calumny. Many seemingly do not realize the damage they can do through talk of this kind.

Messenger:             Many people have anger from the past.
Some have failed in most of their intimate
                            relationships. That means that there
is a lot of work to do on ourselves.
We always must strive to be more perfect.
We work to become more pure. Jesus wants
this. We cannot blame our problems for pain
inside of us with past anger and hurts on others
around us. Some people have very much pain inside.
Jesus doesn't want us to blame our problems inside
                            on others.

In Alanon and AA so many people find successful
recovery from the disease of alcoholism which has
effected them adversely by living by the 12 steps.
They don't blame others for their bad moods.
They don't drink alcohol to heal the pain.
They make an inventory of themselves and tell others
they are sorry for hurting them when it should
be done and they won't hurt others any further.
They admit their mistakes and try to rely on God.
They live to do God's will. We should not want to have
any scapegoats. Please keep this and read it.
Write a letter to God the Father.
