Messenger:        Mental Health. The devil tries to get us focused
                                on ourselves.

Jesus speaks:    I want you to be productive.

Oh My child, do not fret or fume, I am your
                        Savior.

Messenger:        Today's Mass was so very beautiful I felt Jesus
presence so strong as He was in the room
standing after communion. I felt as if
I could see Him in the room dressed in
white with a cord about His waist to
the left of the altar. I felt such a
                           presence.

Jesus gives us so many gifts and we don't
appreciate many of them because of
                           negative distraction.

Jesus speaks:     My dear child, I am with you.

Messenger:        Did you ever feel burdened by something
someone has said. We must judge if
it is the right things. The devil will work to
try to get someone to focus on us.

What does Jesus call me to today. Count
the pedals on the flowers, count the
sweet looks of the little child. We can
                            profit from suffering.
God allows us to suffer, sometimes we
suffer because of our own actions.

May the light of Jesus fill your
                            heart with joy.

Dear Mr. John Weickert:

I have just received by mail, a complimentary copy of Shepherds of Christ (2002), by the late Rev. Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder of the 'Shepherds of Christ Movement'.

I thank you very warmly for the volume, which will be of immense help to me for the monthly adoration for all the priests of the diocese, before the Blessed Sacrament, on August 4, 2002, when we celebrate St. John Mary Vianney (1786-1859) Sunday in prayer and recollection.

With my blessing and an assurance of prayers for your valuable work, I shall remain always,

                                            Yours fraternally in the Hearts
                                            of Jesus and Mary,

                                            Rt. Rev. _____

Joyful Mysteries

Shepherds of Christ Meeting

The Annunciation

1. Matthew 22: 36-39

‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself.

R. As we meditate on the mysteries of this rosary let us focus more and more on the immense love that Jesus has for us, this gentle and kind love that He is teaching us about in these rosaries. Jesus is so sweet and so gentle and so loving and as He cares for the birds of the air and the blades of grass, He cares so much more for each one of us. Let us focus on this immense love that He has for us and realize that He is a Person that loves us with His deep and gentle love.

2. R. Mary, our beloved Mother loves us so dearly, watching us with such Maternal love every second. Let us focus on the love of these Two Hearts and make this rosary a time when we share this love intimately and deep in our heart with Them.

3. R. Go deep within yourself and know the Presence of the Almighty God within your graced baptized soul. When we are in the state of grace, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell within us in such a special way. Feel the presence and make a Spiritual Communion to Jesus to feel His presence. We make this rosary a special time that our hearts may be drawn closer and closer to Your Hearts, dear, Jesus and Mary.

4. R. I see before me the gentle and beautiful face of our Mother, Our Lady of Sorrows, with a sword in her Heart, but her face is joyful and her smile is sweet as she appears and so happy that each one of us have come to pray this rosary.

5. R. I see the same Virgin Mary, I see before me the young Virgin that the angel appeared to, and asked her to be the Mother of Jesus.

6. R. Jesus is teaching us more and more about the intimacy between His Heart and His Mother’s Heart. From the first moment of conception Jesus grew within the womb of His Mother. His life was supported by her heart beating within her body. Jesus’ Heart, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus was formed within her womb. Such intimacy for the Two Hearts beating in the same body. We see Mary is the life support of the Child Jesus as He grew within her body.

Rita said, “Mary is appearing, Mary is so beautiful. Mary is smiling.”

7. R. The Father loved Mary so much that He chose Mary as the instrument whereby Jesus, the Son would come into this world. The Father chose a woman to bring His Son, Jesus into this world. He chose the Virgin Mary. This shows us how dear and special Mary is to our Father.

8. R. Mary longed to please the Father and when the angel appeared to her and asked her to be the Mother of God, she said,

Luke 1: 38  ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’

R. Mary said yes to the angel.

Luke 1: 35  The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God.

9. R. Think of the immense love that the Father had for us that He sent His only begotten Son into this world that we could be saved.

Rita said, “Mary is so beautiful.”

10. R. The Child Jesus was formed in the womb of the Virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit. Think of the intimacy from the very beginning between Jesus and Mary that His little body grew and lived in her body. Think of the love of God that He sent His Son into this world. Who are we that God loves us so much that He came into this world for love of us?

Rita said, “The whole corner is adorned in this celestial light.”

Song after each decade: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria

The Visitation

1. R. Mary went to visit her cousin, Elizabeth. Her Heart was filled with such joy and bursting to go to her cousin, Elizabeth, to share the Good News. Mary goes to Elizabeth’s, Elizabeth said,

Luke 1: 43-44  ‘Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy.’

2. R. Think of the tenderness of a woman carrying a child. Think of the tenderness, the gentleness, the purity and the love of Mary carrying the Child Jesus within her womb. Think of such a blessing that God was carried within her womb.

3. R. Do we realize even a minute amount that God is communicating with us in a very special way? God is gentle and kind and loving and attentive to all of our needs. Second by second He is thinking of us and pondering everything that is in our heart, that He is the most ardent lover, that He is inside of us when we are in the state of grace and that He is waiting and longing for us to talk to Him and to tell Him what is troubling us, to tell Him what gives us joy, to be with Him as our best friend every single minute, every single second He is there within us. We think of Mary carrying the Child Jesus within her womb. When I think of the light and the vibrancy and how wonderful it is that Jesus would be inside of her body. Yet when we are baptized, and in the state of grace, He remains with us in a very special way. Think of the Almighty God being with us at every second, that we are not alone. Our biggest fear being that we should ever lose Him by sin.

4. R. I hear Jesus talk. It is kind and gentle in loving ways over and over and over again. Professing His immense love almost to the point we do not hear the words of love that He is speaking, but He professes this love constantly, this burning love that He has for us and He longs for us to tell Him of our love for Him, all through the day to say, “Jesus I love You so much!” How that gives Him such joy, to hear the words from our lips!

5. R. We are not alone. Minute by minute, second by second God dwells in our graced baptized soul.

6. R. I envision Mary pregnant and carrying the child Jesus within her womb and it is just so beautiful to see Mary carrying the Child Jesus. Jesus loves us so much that this day He gives Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist. He is truly present in His Divinity and humanity in the Holy Eucharist. He comes to us in Communion and He is no less present than when Mary walked the earth and Mary carried Him within her womb. Should we not jump for joy as John the Baptist did in the womb of his mother, to realize that the Son of God comes to us in the Eucharist?

7. Jesus: My dear sweet ones, I speak to you with gentleness and kindness and love. I want to tell you of My tender love for you. How I wait for you. My Heart is beating in love for you. I long to share My love with you. How I wait for you to come and to tell Me of your love for Me. So few souls come to My Tabernacle and profess their burning love for Me. Pray for the grace My dear ones, to love God more and more with your whole heart. Pray for the grace to have a love affair with God.

8. Jesus: I am, My dear ones, the Bridegroom of your soul. You walk the aisle and you receive the Holy Eucharist. In your heart do you know that you receive the presence of God in the Holy Eucharist. I come to you and long to be so close to you over and over again and profess My love. Many turn their backs and do not listen. I am telling you of My immense love for you. Open wide your heart and pray for the grace to know more and more this gentle, kind love that I have for you. You do not know how tenderly I love you and wait for you and want you to talk to Me every day and share the innermost thoughts that you have with Me. Come to Me all through the day and tell Me all of your thoughts. I am Jesus. I love you. I am waiting and longing to unite closer and closer to you, My dear sweet ones.

9. Jesus: The seeds of time move exceedingly slow. Many men’s hearts have turned hard and cold and they do not come to Me. I am thirsting and longing for the love of each precious soul. Many men will lose their souls for their willfulness and their sins and I wait with a burning Heart of love to fill them. My dear sweet ones, pray fervently for all of your brothers. Many will be lost.

10. Jesus: Speak to the children of this world. I am Jesus, I am asking you to go to the children and tell them of the love that I have for them. Tell them about their loving Mother, their Heavenly Mother and how she protects them and guards them. Share your innermost love of God with the children. Give them pictures of Me and My Mother. The children’s hearts are young and pure and thirsty for the love of God. They are not set in their ways and they are the people of the future. My dear ones, I am telling you to share your love of God with the children. Tell them how you love Me. Tell them how I am waiting and that I am there every second and they can turn to Me.

Song after each decade: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria

The Birth of Jesus

Rita said, “Mary is so gorgeous. She turns into different apparitions of Mary and she is just totally adorned in this bright, white light. She is so present and she is so pleased and she wants you to know how tenderly she loves you. There’s like a pink hue all around her and she is totally, just totally, so lighted. I can’t even describe what I am seeing.”

1. Hail Mary

2. R. I see the first two mysteries of the rosary, how the Hearts of Jesus and Mary beat within her body. I see all through the rosary as He teaches more and more the intimacy between Jesus and Mary that her Heart dwells in the Heart of her Son and it is in dwelling in her Heart that we will deeply dwell in His Heart. Mary was the life support of her Son. Mary carried Him in her womb. In the town of Bethlehem Jesus was born in a little stable in such poverty and now the umbilical cord has been cut, but Mary still remains the life support of her Child Jesus as she gives to Him her precious milk.

3. R. Two Hearts beating in one body and now Two Hearts separated but joined through her milk. Mary is the Mediatrix of all graces. As Jesus was formed in the womb of His Mother through the Holy Spirit, we are being formed in the spiritual womb, her Immaculate Heart, of our Mother through the Holy Spirit. We are formed, there, more and more into the image and likeness of Jesus.

4. R. Mary is Mother of the Church.

5. R. The Church is a pilgrim Church. Mary is Mother of the Church. We see as we meditate on these mysteries of the rosary how important Mary is to our life with Jesus. Mary is the Mediatrix of all graces.

6. R. Jesus received His life from the womb of the Virgin Mary, and He continued to be supported in His life through her milk. Mary leads us more and more on our journey to eternity as we are formed more and more in the image of Jesus in her Immaculate Heart.

7. Song: Little Child

8. R. As Mary carried the Child Jesus within her womb and gave birth to Him and held Him tenderly in her arms, it is through Mary and through her Heart that we will be joined in such intimacy with her Son Jesus. Let us go to the heart of Mary and be cradled in her Heart and held so tightly so that Mary will place us in the deepest recesses of the Heart of her Son. When we are faced with problems, if we go to the Heart of Mary, we realize that Mary is there with her loving arms placing us so tenderly close to her chest giving to us the milk of salvation as she gave milk to her Son, Jesus. Mary is our Mother and loves us with the most personal Motherly love more than any mother on earth. Let our hearts be filled with the love of our Mother Mary.

9. R. It is through Mary that we are led to closer union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Think of how the Father loved Mary so much that He chose her from among all women. Think of the intimacy between Mary and her Child that His very body was formed within her womb and think of the intimacy between Mary and her Son, Jesus, all through Their lives. Think of the fact that Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit. It is through Mary and her tender and pure Heart that we will be joined in such close union with God.

10. Song: See the Eyes That Look at Mary

Song after each decade: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria

Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple

1. R. Joseph and Mary took the child Jesus to the Temple to be presented to the Father.

2. R. Simeon, the prophet prophesies the suffering of Jesus and Mary to come and he says to Mary, “And a sword too, shall pierce your Heart.”

3. R. I see Mary as she stands beneath the cross of Christ. His Heart was pierced with a lance and what came forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the Church, water for Baptism, Blood for the Eucharist. God gives us a sharing in His life in baptism. Nourish that life with the Eucharist. Simeon said to Mary, “And a sword too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary.” Mary’s Heart was pierced seven times, the Seven Sorrows. We receive a showering of His grace in the sacraments.

4. R. You see all through these mysteries of the rosary intimacy between Jesus and Mary and this is the key to knowing the love of God. Simeon tells Mary of this knowledge of suffering and from this point on, Mary carried this deeply in her Heart. Mary’s words are recorded so little in scripture. Mary carried much in her Heart. Jesus knew of the sufferings to come. Mary and Jesus shared this intimate secret in Their Hearts. If you look at pictures of Jesus and Mary, her holding the Child Jesus in the picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, we see this sadness in Their faces for this was the secret that They carried for thirty-three years of His life, to His death on the cross. For They both knew from the prophecy of Simeon, Mary knew and Jesus knew sufferings were to come and They held these in Their most loving Hearts.

5. R. You see the interplay between the relationship between Jesus and Mary all through the rosary. We see Jesus in the arms of Mary as Simeon tells her of the sufferings to come. In all of the meditations, if we meditate between this interaction between Jesus and Mary, the feelings between Jesus and Mary, the mysteries of the rosary become so deep in our hearts when we see the feelings that are going on between Jesus and Mary as we meditate.

6. Song: See the Eyes that Look at Mary

7. R. This is why Mary comes to us this day. This is why Jesus and Mary have given us these rosaries from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. To see through her eyes from His infancy to His death on the cross and her holding Him in her arms under the cross, to see the love of Jesus. Mary comes and asks us to see the gentle love, the tender love, the love that is burning for each one of us. Not to think of God as far off, but to come and to realize that He is this gentle, gentle loving God that is in our hearts that loves to talk to us every second and know all of our thoughts, to go to the Eucharist and receive His abundant life, that is outpoured there, to go to the Tabernacle and to sit there and to realize that the Almighty God is truly present and Jesus loves us so much. Mary appeared to tell us to see through her eyes the gentle love of her Son Jesus.

Song: A Song from Jesus

8. R. How can we refuse this love when that is what our soul craves. That is the reason we were created is to know, love and serve God. It will not help us to try to fill our hearts with other things that do not satisfy the craving in our soul for the love of God.

Song: God’s Love

9. R. Their eyes peered into one another’s eyes on the way to Calvary. She saw the blood covered face of her Son and the crown of thorns that pressed down into His head. Mary saw the tender love in His eyes, for He would have suffered more for the love of us. His greatest pain was the pain that He experienced to His Heart, for the indifference and the ingratitude of men. The love that He outpours this day and is rejected by many and treated with such coldness by many of the souls He loves.

10. R. I wish that they all could see through a Mother’s eyes. See the Child Jesus. See Jesus as He grew, see Jesus as He was beaten and as He walked on His way to Calvary with the cross on His back and covered with blood. See Jesus as He hung for three agonizing hours, His body withered and He died and see Jesus as she holds Him in her arms under the cross.

Mary: This is the love, my dear children, that my Son has for you and over and over and over again We speak of this love, but men do not hear the gentle words of love that my Son speaks over and over. Open your heart and feel His love burning within you, for He comes to you with greatest love and gives Himself to you in the Holy Eucharist. I am Mary your Mother and I ask you to see through my eyes. See the blood covered face of my Son, see the baby that I held in my arms and the lifeless Son that I held in my arms battered, wounded and dead. This is the love that my Son has for you. Open your heart, do not listen to the coldness of this world, for this world is cold and sick and Satan is out there, all over my dear ones, he is looking into the eyes of people and they see his black, cold eyes. See my Son’s eyes as I saw His eyes on the way to Calvary and look into His eyes. His eyes of gentleness and love and look into the eyes of your brother and see the reflection of the Father that created them and return any kind of animosity with love, for it is in your love, the love in your heart that hearts will be turned to hearts of love. Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with your heart. Always a heart of love. See my Son as He was persecuted and He loved, eyes of tender love. Let your eyes reflect this love as you look into the eyes of your brother, for the eyes are the windows of the souls and as you are in your heart so shall you be in this world. A heart that is angry and haughty cannot unite with the Heart of my Son. Open up you hearts and pray for grace to love.

Song: Give Me a Heart Like Jesus

Jesus: I love you, I love you, I love you! I am Jesus your beloved Savior and I come to you with a Heart that is burning and on fire. Hear the word that I am delivering to you My dear ones. Hear and open up your heart for you are My warriors that I am sending into this world to light up the darkest night. As you are in your hearts so shall you be in this world. Your eyes are the lamps that will light up this dark world. Let your eyes be filled with My light and let the love of God radiate through your eyes and your face. Let your speech be gentle the tone of your voice patient, and loving. My dear ones, look at yourselves. Are you reflecting the image of God? How do people see you? It is in your face as you show gentleness and kindness. I am showering you with abundant graces and filling you with My immense love. Do not resist these graces. Open wide your hearts. You are My special apostles of love that I am sending into this world to light up the darkness. Open up your heart and let go of bitterness and anger towards one another and come with a heart of joy, of unity and of love. I am Jesus, thank you and I give to you My Divine Love.

Song after each decade: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria

Find the Child Jesus in the Temple

1. Jesus: Turn your hearts to Me and let Me fill you with My love. Tell Me all of your problems as you would tell your best friend. I am waiting and longing to be so close to you. It is in sharing all of your problems and your joys with Me and telling Me all through the day your love for Me that our love affair will grow and grow and you will unite in deepest union with My Heart.

2. R. Mary and Joseph took the Child Jesus to the Temple for the feast of the Passover and they went their way and did not realize that they left the Child Jesus behind.

3. R. Jesus was lost for three days when Mary found Him in the Temple, she said,

Luke 2: 48 ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’

R. If we remember the prophecy of Simeon that both Jesus and Mary knew of the sufferings to come and this separation with her Son was a remainder of the final separation to come.

4. R. In the chapel, the Finding in the Temple was across from the Crucifixion. Jesus was lost in the Temple for three days and He was locked in the tomb for three days. This was the separation between Jesus and Mary and her heart was sorrowing, but she knew of suffering to come and she stood beneath the cross and watched her Son die, and they locked her Son into the tomb for three days.

5. R. Mary spoke so few times in the scriptures and this was one time. I see the pictures of Mary and Jesus in the Icons and there is that same look between Jesus and Mary that they felt this suffering within Their Hearts all through Their lives. His Heart was pierced with a lance and her Heart was pierced with a sword. On the third day He rose victorious. He was locked in the tomb for three days and on the third day He rose victorious and He gives to us His life flowing forth from His pierced Heart. We beg to be filled abundantly with His life.

6. R. Let our hearts always remain in the state of grace that we are saturated with this life within us. Jesus was lost in the Temple. There are many souls this day on this earth that are lost and are dead in sin, that are locked in a tomb of their own making because they refuse the great graces that God outpours to them and they go about their lives in willfulness and sin and Mary our Mother says, constantly pray for the lost children of this world for many will die and they will be lost to the fires of hell.

7. R. I see before me the Virgin Mary every time I pray this mystery and she is lighted and alive and she begs for our prayers for the children that will be lost and will be condemned to the fires of hell, that our prayers make the difference in the lives of so many.

8. Mary: I am Mary your Mother and I ask you my dear precious chosen ones, that I have called to my house. I am Our Lady of Sorrows. It is through my intercession that you will receive many graces. I ask you this day, as Our Lady of Sorrows to pray for my little lost children, for my heart is sorrowing and in such pain. I stood beneath the cross of my Son and I saw my Son as He took His last breath. My Heart was in such sorrow for all of the souls this day that would refuse the graces that He gives them. I am Our Lady of Sorrows. I am the Mediatrix of all graces and I am asking you my dear ones to pray as you have never prayed before for my little lost children in this world. Many will be condemned to the fires of hell forever and ever and ever. Can you see my dear ones, souls being condemned to hell never to return, for what; for the satisfaction in this life? Your prayers are so powerful! Pray for the intercession of the Sorrowful Mother and Infant of Prague for the little lost children of this world. I am Mary your Mother and I am asking you to pray and to offer up your days in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for all the little lost children in this world.

9. Mary: I am Mary you Mother and I ask you to come to my Heart and to dwell in my heart and dwell in the Heart of my Son. My dear ones think of the gentleness and tenderness of the love of my Son all through the day, speak to Him and tell Him of your love for Him. He is waiting and longing and thirsting for you for He wants hearts that are on fire for love of Him. He gave His life and He gives Himself to you this day in the Eucharist. I carried my Son, Jesus within my womb. Jesus Christ, the Son of God comes to you in the Eucharist. What a gift you are given!

10. Mary: Pray to be sensitive to the graces that you are given, to grow more and more in His image and likeness. Beg to be filled more and more abundantly with His life in you. Beg to know more and more the love of God. I am Mary your Mother and I thank you for praying this rosary this evening. Pray for the little lost children of this world for many are suffering and in pain and they continue their lives in sin. It is through your prayers that many will be helped. My dear ones, souls are at stake. Will you pray for the little children of this world? I am Mary your Mother. Thank you for responding to my call.
