A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Holy Love, Rooted in Him

Messenger: Jesus wants us to have deep love for each other. There is a fine line between passion and deep love in Him. As people advance more in the ways of deeper union with Him, their capacity for loving increases as they become one in Him.

"Holy people", that is, those most one with God, are tremendous lovers. Their hearts are most identified with the tremendous Lover, the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The more we become one in Him, the greater our capacity to love.

If problems occur in relationships that become sinful, for example, relationships in which hatred, division, or illicit physical closeness enter in, it is because the parties have not matured to a spiritual level at which they desire only to do God's will.

It is necessary for both parties to analyze their lives and enter into a greater union with their beloved Savior.

All relationships in their lives should be analyzed and checked to see that they are according to God's will.

God does not want us to have "stand-offish", stiff, cold relationships. He wants us to interact, to have heartfelt, holy love. Holding hands and singing in a group and engaging in kind, loving holy embraces are permissible, but there can be no sin. The intention of sharing affection is rooted in deep love and joy coming from a deep love relationship with God, in which God is our best Lover, our Spouse, our Beloved, and others are brothers and sisters to us.

As soon as sinful passion becomes involved, or possessive, selfish love that results in any sin, then the relationship MUST BE EXAMINED and a deeper focus must be placed on Jesus and doing His will and serving Him. We must then analyze all relationships with others to see that they are as God wills.

In relationships we must:

  1. Put God first, live to serve Him and do His will.
  2. Genuinely love others as God wills us to with heartfelt holy love.

Singing together songs of praise with hands joined in a circle greatly pleases our God and gives us great joy.

God is real.

Love is wonderful.

We have a whole life to develop deeper love relationships in Him.

There is such tender love between mother and child, father and child, sister and brother in a holy family rooted in Him.

God wants this tender, genuine love, love as the Father intends, not stand-offish, not possessive, not jealous love, not any kind of love which is against His will.

God wants holy love, heartfelt love, real love.

Look at the Holy Family.

Look at the love between Mother and Son.
