Mary has requested that the daily message be given each day to the world. It is read nightly at the prayer service from her Image Building in Clearwater, Florida, U.S.A. This is according to her request. All attempts will be made to publish this daily message to the world at 11 p.m. Eastern time, U.S.A.

We acknowledge that the final authority regarding these messages rests with the Holy See of Rome.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Messenger: Include Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center in 6:20 prayers.

Message given August 23, 1993

On His Passion

Jesus speaks: My dear child,
I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp. It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching -- on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on.

My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding. Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises -- and people watched and laughed!

I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s heart become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks -- the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

I thought of My intense love for you -- that many would go to heaven because of My suffering -- and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Oh, it was unbelievable! Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours -- which seemed like forever -- and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven -- not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My kingdom.

Messenger: This is when Jesus began telling me about His passion. He said He would and He did.

I cannot stress again how it is our mission to circulate the little card that says...

Messenger: I did a healing rosary last night in Sidney, Ohio, and this is a request He made over and over again.

We need to get the card to all - children, elderly, prisons...

So much of the opportunity for grace to be released is not utilized, for we do not unite our lives to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we do not consecrate our hearts to Their Hearts to make the offering most holy and we just do not offer our lives everyday to God.

Some form of the Morning Offering should be prayed every day, that we offer our lives to God as a sacrifice, and we want it to be the holiest offering we can offer, offering it through Their pure and holy Hearts.

The following Imprimatur applies only to the Morning Offering and not the message above or below.

Morning Offering (for Shepherds of Christ Members)

My dear Father, I offer You this day all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings, my every breath, my every heartbeat, my every thought, all my actions, in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit. I pray the Holy Spirit is with me every second today, enlightening me to do the will of the Father and filling me with the fire of God's love.
I ask Jesus and Mary to be one in me in all that I do and I unite with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory to pray continually to the Father for these intercessions, in this prayer, for this day.
For myself, I pray for grace-abundant grace, to know and love God more and more and to follow the will of the Father. I pray to the Holy Spirit to transform me in the heart of Mary to be more and more like Jesus. I pray that I can forever dwell in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. I pray for conversion of all those I hold dear who need conversion. I pray for each member of my family that they will be filled with Your abundant grace to grow in their knowledge and love of God.
I pray for all my friends that they will receive abundant grace to carry out the great plan of the Father, that they will grow forever closer to Jesus' Heart through Mary's heart, that we will all be led by the Holy Spirit to do His work, that we will, together, carry out the plan of the Father as He intends us to, to spread the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary's heart to this world.
Jesus, I pray for myself so the Holy Spirit descends upon me and opens my heart to Your love so I will grow more and more deeply in union with You. I pray that I do not worry what other people think but try always to please the Father and do His will. I pray that I may help lead many to Your burning love.
I pray for the following people in particular that they will be filled with the Spirit and grow deeply in their union with You, that they will receive abundant graces to know, love and serve You more. (Include special friends by name...)
I pray for priests the world over, for the success of the Priestly Newsletter, the Chapters and for the finances needed for the Newsletter. I pray for the circulation of the Blue Book messages, rosary meditations and tapes. I pray for all those involved in the publication of these messages.
I pray that You will shower Your abundant graces onto the priests reading the Newsletter the people reading and hearing the Blue Book messages and Rosary Meditations and all of Fr. Carter's publications.
We pray for the intentions we hold deep within our hearts, for our families and friends, for those requesting our prayers. We pray for children the world over and for the souls in purgatory. We ask God to shower His abundant grace on us and the members of our Shepherds of Christ chapter so that we may grow more and more in our knowledge and love of God.
We consecrate ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We pray for Father Carter, for Father Smith, for Rita Ring, and for John Weickert, for all leaders and helpers in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, for Shepherds of Christ Ministries, and Our Lady of Light Ministry. We pray for all those who are working in these ministries.
We bind ourselves and our children and our friends to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We place the precious blood of Jesus on ourselves, and all we touch, so that we will be protected from the evil one. We pray to St. Michael to cast the devil into hell.
We love You, God, we love You, we love You. We beg that we may receive the grace to love You more and more deeply. We adore You, we praise You, our beloved Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

My dear Father, I offer you this day all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit.

Messenger: I write to you as a messenger from God. In the visits when Mary appeared to me daily for 14 months she cried out to reach the children, especially the last nine months. If Mary appeared to you over and over again, and let you see her and experience great suffering for the souls being lost, you would cry out to the world.

The book "Rosaries from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary" was given during these daily visits.

Messenger: I want to include the original invoice from the day Mary appeared on the building.

Messenger: Mary and Jesus kept telling me this book must be out by Christmas so we could send it to the Shepherd of Christ membership. It was so difficult to get the book out as we worked on it in November. I thought we would never get it out, but I felt the urgency of the messages. When we finally sent it in, it was going to come back so quickly. We received a shipping date December 17, 1996, the day of the beginning of the nine day novena of Christmas and it was shipped that day. That is the day Mary appeared on the building in a rainbow color. It matched the rainbow on the book.

Messenger: Mary's cry goes out to the world every day now from sunny Florida as the sun dances on the image of Mary - she is the Lady Clothed with the Sun.

Revelation 12: 1-2

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.

Messenger: You know how problems bog you down. God is giving us messages concerning what we must do, and we have to follow His directions.

Our Lady of Fatima told us what we must do and so many haven't obeyed her yet. Mary is the Queen of Peace, and we must obey her. Jesus, October 13, 1996, called the meetings for the 13th of each month. He said these were to help bring about the completion of the mission Mary began at Fatima. The messages given during this live rosary three months before Mary appeared on the building are given on live tapes recorded at that rosary and are available. Also a written transcript is available if you click on. I received messages on all the 13ths, November 13, 1996; December 13, 1996; January 13, 1997; February 13, 1997. All of these live tapes of these rosaries are available and the written transcript, too. The story three months before Mary's appearance on the building and three months afterward are recorded in the Apostles' Manual, a book of 440 pages. Jesus told us to compile the information about the 13th meetings in October, November, December, January, February, etc. and at each gathering a little book was compiled. October 13, 1996, the first segment of the book was released; November 13, 1996, the second segment of the book, December 13, 1996, the third segment, etc. When Mary appeared the data had already been recorded and published. Each month's rosary from the previous month was very carefully theologically discerned and published as also were all messages that Our Lord wished in the book. This book is available in limited quantities. It is a large book in size and thickness and invaluable for apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Shepherds of Christ Movement. It is available on the Internet.

It was beautiful how the Lord put everything in place before Mary appeared. We were directed concerning many things, including moving all phones to Morrow, Ohio, our communication center, and having many lines installed. This is still the communication center and the P.O. Box we use for communication.

Jesus called 17th meetings that began February 17, 1994. For 2 1/2 years we had meetings on the 17th of each month prior to Mary's visit. These were called Blue Book meetings. Soon after October 13, 1996, the 17th meetings were not the main focus, the 13ths were. Mary then appeared December 17, 1996. December 17, 1993, was the date of the first message from God's Blue Book that was ever published.

December 17, 1991, was the date of the vision on the front of Blue Book II. These things had been documented. Many of the meeting booklets of the 17th meetings beginning February 17, 1994, are in a book on the Internet entitled 17th meetings. They tell some of the story of the birth of the Movement.

I write to you today as He so directs me. Many of you are being called to help us and through this presentation of the history and the availability of the messages and writings, you can study what happened before Mary appeared.

Blue Book I has writings from May 13, 1993 - December 31, 1993.

Messenger: Blue Book II has writings from January 1, 1994 - March 31, 1994.

Messenger: Blue Book III has writings from April 1, 1994 - June 30, 1994.

Messenger: Then Mary began to appear July 5, 1994.

The Red Rosary Book has rosaries in that period as Mary appeared July 5, 1994 - September 5, 1995.

Messenger: The 17th Book meetings include a lot of meetings which began on the 17th of each month February 17, 1994. We have the meetings from February 17, 1994, until about February 17, 1995, on the Internet.

The Parents and Children's Rosary Book really began being written November 2, 1995, when Our Lord told me to tape the weekly Junior Shepherds of Christ meetings, and asked Melanie to transcribe them.

Messenger: These rosaries were then taped weekly and went into 1996 and finally ended March 20, 1997, when Our Lady appeared so big and beautiful as Our Lady of Fatima at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center.

The Mass Book is made up mostly of journal entries September 1, 1995 - December 31, 1995. Then Our Lord told me exactly what to put in the front of the book, certain writings from the end of 1996 when Mary appeared and a few entries from January 1997 after she appeared.

Messenger: The Apostles' Manual is basically October 13, 1996 - April 1, 1997, give or take some messages before and maybe a few after.

Messenger: The Mary's Message and other things that occurred in August 1996, were important to the development of the appearance of Mary on the building. Some of these messages and some in September 1996, were recorded in the Apostles' Manual.

The daily messages began July 8, 1998, and continue today. These began with the nightly prayer services July 5, 1998. Only one book is published.

Messenger: All daily messages from July 8, 1998, to the present are on the Internet.

Messenger: The Rosary Meditations for Little People and Elderly to a great extent came from the daily messages.

Messenger: The Nursing Home Meditations on the Rosary came from the Red Rosary Book.

Messenger: The Nursing Home Messages from Jesus were given in 1995 when I visited nursing homes and then later ones were given for the Internet.

Messenger: There are other messages on tapes, etc. There are lots of messages unpublished: Blue Book 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, many, many tapes of live rosaries with messages from Jesus. Three years of live rosaries held every Sunday, December 1996 when Mary appeared to December 1999, give insight into the three cycles as we went through the Church year.

These messages are recorded on live recordings on tapes. Most of the 13th meetings from October 13, 1996, to present have been transcribed, but not checked or discerned and are not circulated except for internal use.

Many rosaries given on the 5ths of each month in Florida have been transcribed and are used as needed, mostly for internal use.

Apostles messages are given for running the Movement, and many are not circulated publicly.

Jesus, God the Father, and Our Lady have directed the Movement and brought it to this place.

Messenger: Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletters are written by our founder.

There are 2 volumes of the book form of the newsletter:

Volume I begins July/August 1994 and goes to May/June 1996.

Volume II begins July/August 1996 and goes to Issue 5, 1999.

The Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter continues. The newsletter now goes to about 70,000 priests throughout the world in English and Spanish, and soon in French.

For Helping in the Renewal of the
Church and the World

WE PRAY FOR PRIESTS, THE RENEWAL OF THE CHURCH, AND THE WORLD.

We join as a body united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offering our lives to the Father as intercessors praying for our priests, the Church, and the world.

WILL YOU PRAY WITH US?

Your prayers united to ours will help the priests, the Church, and the world.

Our Focus

WE HAVE PRAYER CHAPTERS PRAYING ALL OVER THE WORLD for the priests, the Church, and the world.

OUR PRIMARY FOCUS is the circulation of a newsletter.

WE CIRCULATE A SPIRITUALITY NEWSLETTER written by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J., a Jesuit Theologian with a Doctor's degree in Theology and author of 17 books, to about 70,000 priests in the world in both English and Spanish. Father Carter has been a professor of Theology for over 30 years.

Besides being sent to about 50,000 priests and bishops in the U.S.A., the newsletter is sent internationally to about 225 bishops, including 4 cardinals, who distribute copies to all of their priests, and also, in some cases, to their deacons and seminarians.

The newsletter is centered in consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It features writings regarding our union with Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit and Mary. The newsletter also stresses the Eucharist, the Church, prayer, and one's responsibility regarding the social order. The newsletter stresses sound doctrine as found in Scripture, the writings of the Popes and other Church documents. It also presents selected writings from the saints and competent priest-theologians and others.

The newsletter can be used by all for development in the spiritual life centered in consecration.

WE WANT TO BE INTERCESSORS PROMOTING UNITY IN PRAYER WITH ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, PRAYING FOR THE PRIESTS, THE CHURCH, AND THE WORLD.

We have described above the primary ministry of the Movement, the spirituality newsletter for priests, Shepherds of Christ. The 2nd most important ministry is the prayer chapters, whose members pray for the needs of priests and for the needs of all others also. Other ministries include promoting the act of consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary as widely as possible. Promoting this act of consecration permeates all of our ministries. We also promote the praying of the rosary, and we have a special program regarding the rosary and the act of consecration for school children. We have programs for prisons and nursing homes to encourage the residents to pray for priests, the Church, and the world. We also publish various books, cassette tapes, and other materials to help in the ongoing work of spiritual renewal.

The mission of the Shepherds of Christ Movement is closely connected to Our Lady of Fatima's mission. We hope to play a major role in helping to bring fulfillment of the Peace Plan of Our Lady of Fatima. This plan includes:

  1. Consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary -- until a sufficient number of people make and live the consecration, we will not have peace in the world.
  2. Praying the rosary.
  3. Observing the First Saturday Devotion.
  4. Making reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

In helping to bring the Fatima message to completion, the Shepherds of Christ Movement is helping to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart. This is a great privilege and a great responsibility! We ask for your prayers and help in other ways also. May God bless you abundantly!

LEVELS OF COMMITMENT

There are seven levels of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

  1. There are Associates who gather and pray at least once monthly as a group and also help with donations to support the Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter. They can be tremendously involved. They give as they feel they are able.
  2. Apostles are members who have restricted their apostolic activity to the Shepherds of Christ. They literally act as a body of lay people who have given their lives in their present living situation to do all that they can to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart.
  3. Prayer Apostles are often shut-ins, some are able to go to church and pray. They spend much of their lives praying for the Movement.
  4. Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are those who spend at least two separate hours weekly before the Blessed Sacrament praying for the following:
  1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
  2. For the Pope.
  3. For all bishops of the world.
  4. For all priests.
  5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
  6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this Movement to the world.
  7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
  8. For all members of the human family.
  9. For all souls in purgatory.
  1. Handmaids of the Good Shepherd are young and older women who have given their lives in community primarily to pray for the Shepherds of Christ Movement and intentions and to be special spouses of Jesus. Some have more duties than others. All have the primary duty of prayer and the desire to be a special spouse of our Lord. One of the functions of the handmaids is the involvement in praying for and helping to circulate the priestly newsletter. The handmaids are not members of a religious order.
  2. Servants of the Good Shepherd are men who live in community with a lifestyle and purpose similar to that of the handmaids. The servants are not members of a religious order.
  3. We wish to form a special congregation of priests who will realize their great oneness with Christ. They will be consecrated deeply to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and support the Shepherds of Christ Movement as holy priests.

Whatever one's level of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, all share in promoting the overall goal of the Movement. This goal is to help in the spiritual renewal of the Church and the world. All varied ministries of the Movement are directed toward this purpose. The spirituality which the Shepherds of Christ Movement presents to its members and to those outside the Movement through its various ministries is very basic. This spirituality is explicitly Trinitarian and Christocentric. Our spirituality helps others, especially priests, to develop a very deep union with Jesus, this Jesus Who leads us to the Father in the Holy Spirit with Mary at our side. Our spirituality is deeply Eucharistic. We stress very much participation in the Mass and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. We also emphasize the extremely important role of prayer in the spiritual life. Devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, especially consecration to Their Hearts, is also a most important and central element. We are very much interested in helping to bring the Fatima message to completion, a message which has consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary at its very core.

Sorrowful MotherMary's Message from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary speaks: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Song: O Lady of Light, shining so bright, be with us this day, guiding our way, O Lady, O Lady of Light.

Mary speaks: I appear to you as Our Mother of Sorrows.

(End of Mary's Message)
