On His Passion

Jesus: My dear child,
I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp. It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching -- on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on.

My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding. Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises -- and people watched and laughed!

I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s heart become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks -- the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

I thought of My intense love for you -- that many would go to heaven because of My suffering -- and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Oh, it was unbelievable! Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours -- which seemed like forever -- and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven -- not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My kingdom.

Given August 22, 2011 - Morning - Queenship of Mary

                R. We see how God created an ordered
harmonious world and He gave them
so many gifts and the devil came
in a garden that could bear
much fruit and God told them to
increase and multiply — And what God
created was good and He gave
Adam, Eve so they would be
                happy

And Eve listened to satan and
she disobeyed God — He told them
not to eat of the fruit of that tree
and she disobeyed God because the
devil told her lies and tempted her
and she also gave the fruit to
Adam and he disobeyed God —

This was our first parents Adam
and Eve and they were given all these
gifts from God in this beautiful
                garden, but they disobeyed God
listened to satan and they lost
all these gifts God gave —
                Paradise in the Garden lost
                because they disobeyed God and
listened to satan — Eve wanted to
be equal to God — the devil appealed
to Eve's pride — she succumbed to
the temptation of the devil and
lost Paradise in the Garden where
God intended them to love — share
these gifts, live in harmony and
be happy and we are the
descendents of Adam and Eve suffer
because of this — We have original
                sin —

Jesus, the New Adam, came and
He is our Savior — With Adam and
Eve there was no death, no disorder,
and they disobeyed God and we
                have distorted vision because of
                the sin, disorder, concupiscence —
Jesus, our Savior came He died and rose —
We offended God — The offense was
against Divinity — Jesus, the Divine
God, came to pay the price —

But we see the rebellion in the
Old Testament — how they wandered the
desert with Abraham, (there is no fruit in
the desert). They suffered for water
                because of their grumbling, they
had to suffer 40 years in the desert
with Moses and when God was giving
them water from the rock — Moses
                was losing faith, Moses angry
and he struck the rock twice —
He showed the people his bad way
and God would not let him lead
them over the Jordon into the
                Promised Land —

God called Moses to show obedience,
God wants leaders to show the way —
Leaders to be above the grumblings
                and be obedient —

We see the wandering in the desert

We see them making a molten calf
                and worshipping it when Moses
went up the mountain for the 10
                Commandments —

They were disobedient — they couldn't
wait and pray and obey - even when God
had given them so many signs —

Out of all the people and leaders
of this earth today - many do not
worship the one true God — many
have abandoned the one true God
for false gods — many were baptized —
such a gift from God and don't
even go to Church because they
                want it their way —

Two messages I got in the morning
I heard Jesus going around my
                bed mumbling

January 5, 1997

R. On January 5, 1997, I was wakened by Our Lord and He was mumbling as He was around my bed. I heard Him and He repeated the words over and over again. He was speaking very plainly and direct. He kept repeating "BABY, BARE BABY, LAID BARE".

Jesus:  Open yourself, Oh Jerusalem, your time is come you will be a light to the people in darkness, many will walk whence you come and the earth will be shakened and the light will come across a dark sky and enlighten their minds.

Oh stiff-necked people, you are so stiff in your ways, let the spirit envelope you and lead you on your way.

A country of stiffs, a people of planning and prodding, of deliberating and wondering—you lack faith, Jerusalem, you lack faith in God.

Oh walk naked into the cold night, you are cold in your hearts and naked in your clothing—I cloth you with glory, I light your face with light, but you turn your cheeks to the darkness and stay stiff-necked in your hearts. Oh cold and dark hearts, reach for the light that you may know the glory that awaits the sinners and enlightens their minds.

October 8, 1997

Jesus: Seedless, barren, not bringing forth fruit on the vine. I come to be heard and who pays Me heed. To a people of stiffs I address this issue, what think you when the water is gone from the trough?

Do you think you will then worship the molten calf or will you be ready for surrender then?

Oh, you thankless race, anger and wrath is the mind of your God. You do not worry, My messenger, for I am God and I speak to you. You think you are alone and I have chosen you. Your money is your god, oh people of Zion - your money in the pockets is the sound that brings you joy.

What brings Me joy is the songs of the faithful, praising and worshipping God, but I go to the tent and there is the molten calf and an abased nation of stiffs, heartless and filled with fear. I beg of you to stop now before it is too late, but you do not know of the chastisement I have in store for you - it is under the plan of the Father.

The children who walk in darkness carried a molten calf in their arms and the God of justice struck the earth.

He struck you, senseless people, because you would not listen.

I did not put you on the earth and then leave you to yourselves. I dwelt amongst you to guide you in all your ways and the people today spit on Me as they did 2,000 years before. For all these years I waited for the likes of you, My people, and why should you have more time for false joy? Joy is not in the molten calf. It is in the words of the Savior.

My Words are your truth, yet you try to wash them away as hearsay and of no importance.

My Word is the Word of God mighty and true. I have been ignored and defiled in My Word. I smite you, My senseless race. I allow the dragon to devour your young for you are the senseless race. I allow the dragon to devour your young for you are the senseless children of Eve.

Debased, proud and dead, really dead in your hearts.

I give you sunshine and rain and you want flowers and glory.

The glory is Mine or I will have to continue to listen to the wailing widow, a barren branch, a company of stiffs.

Ignore Me no longer senseless ones. My hand is upon you. It will come down and wipe out the senseless virgins, the ones singing to the molten calf.

Rachel could hear the slaughter of her children and she wept such bitter tears. The Lady Clothed as the Sun bore the barren race; they did not come to her grace-filled womb.

The thankless race marched into a pit of doom and destruction.

As I was pressed in the garden watching the days at hand, as I was squeezed, what came forth from My pores was the saving Blood for the children of Zion and when they ate from the land they feasted on rich food and strong drinks, the candy of the earth and it made them sick - sick to the death of their souls and the Lady Clothed as the Sun heard the cries of her sick children. I give you the medicine for the sick children in these writings and they chase you and make you fall to the ground. I watched you skin your knees when you carried the scrolls that contained My letters of love, My words from the depths of My Heart. You fell as I once did on the way to Calvary. I fell, I skinned My knees, My Body burned and I got up and went to the end.

The end was the beginning for the children of Zion for at that hill My cross was planted erect, a tree of life, and the juice that was squeezed 'till there was no more from the one "Son of Man, the Son of God", was the juice of the Man. It was His saving Blood.

They pressed Me in the Garden of Olives and I bled for the thankless race. They hung Me on a tree on the hill of Calvary. When I gave them the New Eve they chose the molten calf. They spit on My Mother, they ignored the visitations. She came and gave to the children to remind them of their covenant with God.

Oh senseless ones, so many will now fall, for I hung there and to the right was one and to the left another. The one was saved; the other was cursed. You picked from the tree when you should have obeyed your Father. He gave you His will. He said, "You may eat of all the trees in the garden but not this one." and you continually ate of the forbidden fruit. I warned you, My children, and you chased My messengers and made them run. I gave to you My Book of Life, My Bible, and you ate the sick fruit and it made you so sick you wanted to die but you kept eating when I told you the end was near and now that the end has come, what do you say for yourself? You ignored the Lady Clothed as the Sun. She appeared in all glory and splendor and so many months later so few go to her site to even see her. So is it My fault or yours our money does not come to publish your books and tell the world about the Woman in Florida? It is not My fault, I am God. I am the faultless One.

You want joy. I have no joy for the likes of you, My children of Zion, you have usurped My thrones and treated My body as rubbish. I am God. I come in the Eucharist and I am ignored. I speak no longer. The days that follow will be the days to cleanse this earth.

I am angered beyond all anger for the way My Mother has been treated in Florida by the thankless race. They have worshipped the molten calf and ignored the Lady of Light, the Lady Clothed as the Sun, the Lady of Fatima in the Americas, Our Lady of Guadalupe, bringing forth her children. The good will suffer with the bad; the wheat will be separated from the darnel (weeds). You walked like little stiff men with your haughty hearts. Your heads were your gods. I gave you great minds to comprehend My mysteries and you used your minds to worship false gods and make movies that defile My priesthood. What of your minds? I do not even have energy to tell you how unworthy you used the mind, the intellect I gave you. You used this great faculty to commit the worst sins, and My head was crowned with the sharpest thorns for your sick earth. Oh, you squeezed the Blood from the Son of Man. You pressed that Man in the garden, when He knew this race of this day.

I now see the Woman on the building, My Mother, so loving to the children I gave her and the mean ones threw acid on her face. Oh, you race of vile hearts and thankless ways. I will clothe the holy ones in the white robes of glory. The thankless ones I will turn over to the red men that will hand them over to the keeper of the pit and their bodies will be burned in the burning sulfur of the pool of death. Come, My children of light, your Mother called you through the consecration. She showed you the way home to My Heart. She carried a lighted lamp and lighted your way in the darkness. You were not foolish like the virgins that carried a lamp without a light. Your light for the lamp was My life alive in your hearts. When the darkest night comes you will know the flames of My love alive in your lighted hearts, burning with the fire from the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I give you the fuel, My faithful virgins. I gave you the fuel to light your lamps that in the dark night that lies ahead, you will still shine as a beacon light, a light of intense brightness no matter how dark the night. You will not die for your refuge is the fire of the Sacred Heart and you gave your heart to the New Eve, the pure and Immaculate One and she took you to the Heart of your Savior. She took you home and you dwelt within the chamber of My Heart and you were protected from the evil one in these last days. You tried to spread this consecration. It is the key that leads to the place of refuge. So many camps the devil told men to prepare and they labored in vain, for the Word was had in dwelling in Our Hearts. You would find refuge and they missed the message and busied themselves with the work of the evil one.

I say to you what refuge survived when Noah built his ark? Only those on the ark survived the great flood. You prepare your earth. When My Word was to prepare your hearts. Then again, they worshipped the church building, the grounds and the wood and their hearts were left as cold vaults. I beg you, My beauteous ones, to beg the men to prepare their hearts before it is too late. Only the Ark of the Covenant will be the means of survival in this dark age. When the moon turns to blood they will run away frightened and their buildings will be like cold vaults - only the hearts consecrated to Our Hearts will survive.

You were willful and too busy to know the story. The story is this: There is but one home; it is the Heart of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. My Mother is the gatekeeper. It is through her Immaculate Heart you enter. She is the singular vessel, a New Eve, a Woman Clothed as the Sun, a doorway to the everlasting abyss of Light, the Light of the World, the Sacred Eucharistic Heart of the Son of Man.

There was not room for Me in the Inn and there is not room for Me in the hearts of many and what can I say - they will die. I gave them the book of life. I gave them the Man who hung on a tree to save them. I gave them Myself, truly present in the Eucharist, the Eucharist and My Word I gave them. I gave to them My Mother - the way to enter into My Heart and they were haughty and proud. I was born in a stable in Bethlehem for you, My men. I am the Light of the World. The foolish virgins had no oil for their lamps and they went out. And you could hear the wailing cries of her children being slaughtered in the dark night. Oh, the Lady Clothed as the Sun warned them to come to her heart and the Heart of her Son (the Light of the World) and they went to the molten calf and they died a brutal death.

                    R. We see the big world —
                    We see the disobedience —

Thank God we have the Holy Father,
The Church is one, holy, Catholic
                and Apostolic

We see how God led His people
out of slavery — the Mosaic
                Covenant —

Blood signified life for the Jews,
We see the Blood on the door posts —

Exodus 12: 12-13

That night, I shall go through Egypt and strike down all the first-born in Egypt, man and beast alike, and shall execute justice on all the gods of Egypt, I, Yahweh! The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are. When I see the blood I shall pass over you, and you will escape the destructive plague when I strike Egypt.

                R. The Blood symbolized the sealing
                of the covenant, the establishment
of a new life — relationship
                between Yahweh and themselves —

                    The Mosaic covenant prefigured
the covenant which was to be
                established in Christ —

1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

Yahweh at the time of Moses had
                    given Himself to the Jews
                    in a special way —

He was their God and they were His People.

Excerpt from Response in Christ
by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

This life relationship was highly imperfect, however, if compared to that instituted by Christ The covenant life between God and man established by the Incarnate Word is of the most intimate nature We see this if we consider the new covenant as being contained in a perfect way in Christ Himself. He is radically the new covenant.1 Covenant, remember, has various dimensions of love. Out of love God shares His life with man, and man in community responds in love by giving himself to God and relating in love with his neighbor. In Christ we perceive these relationships achieved in the most perfect manner possible. First of all, Christ in His humanity receives the divinity's gift of self in the highest degree – to such a high degree, in fact, that we have the hypostatic union as a result. In other words, the human nature of Christ is recipient of God's self-communication in such a perfect manner that it does not exist by reason of its own personal act of existence, but rather by the divine existence of the Word, the second person of the Trinity.

Christ as man – in the name of all men, for all men – perfectly receives God's communication of Himself in grace. This is the first movement of covenant life, downward from God to man. In the second movement of covenant, man's response, we again see Christ as central. As man, Christ makes the perfect response to God for all men. This response of Christ includes both His love for His Father and His relationship in love with men. His entire life was itself this perfect response. His life, submerged in a constant, loving conformity to His Father's will, was and is the perfect incarnate response which man is called upon to make to his covenant God.

The response which Christ made was centered in His death and Resurrection. These two events contained the whole of Christ's life and are intimately united. Everything which Christ did previous to Calvary was a preparation for Calvary and consequently shared its redemptive value. The Resurrection was in one way or another the completion of the work of Calvary. Since Christ's perfect response to the Father culminated in His death-resurrection, it is evident that Christ's life involved a transition just as did the life of the Jewish people in the old covenant. This transition of the Israelites was manifested in the exodus from Egypt. In fact, Christ's transition in death-resurrection was a fulfillment of the Jewish exodus; and just as the transition of the Jews marked a passage from a lower to a higher type of existence, so did Christ's transition or passover have this characteristic.

What was Christ's transition? Before Christ experienced death, He was limited by the sinfulness of the world into which He had immersed Himself in His Incarnation. He loved men, and He loved to be in their midst, and in the midst of their world. But He did suffer from the sinfulness of this world. Sinless though He Himself was, He was in certain ways affected and limited by sin. Indeed, sin destroyed Christ in his mortal existence. This shows us the degree to which Christ was limited by or "hemmed in" by the world's sinfulness. But through the passageway of His death, Christ passed beyond the limitations He had experienced in His mortal life. He conquered sin, and He rose into a more perfect type of life, that of the Resurrection. In such a life He could no longer suffer, He could no longer be "limited" by the sinful aspect of the world.

There is another similarity between the Jewish transition or exodus and the transition involved in Christ's death-resurrection. We saw the part that sacrificial blood contributed to the passover or transition of the Jewish people in two instances. The blood of the paschal lamb freed the Jewish homes from the deathblow of Yahweh immediately before their departure from Egypt, and ultimately it was sacrificial blood which sealed the Mosaic covenant upon Mount Sinai.

Sacrificial blood was also essential in Christ's passover or transition. It was through the shedding of His blood that He passed through death to Resurrection. It was thus His blood which made the transition possible and which sealed the new covenant. This new covenant, supplanting the old, is the new life relationship between God and His People, and the People themselves. Christ, in achieving new life through death-resurrection, gained it not only for Himself but for all His members.

The Christian, then, shares in the life of Christ's Resurrection. But if he participates in the Resurrection of Christ he must also share in Christ's death, since death is the way to Resurrection. St. Paul tells us: "We are dead to sin, so how can we continue to live in it? You have been taught that when we were baptised in Christ Jesus we were baptised in his death; in other words, when we were baptised we went into the tomb with him and joined him in death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father's glory, we too might live a new life." (Rm 6:2-4).

Through Baptism therefore the Christian is incorporated into Christ's death-resurrection. Baptism pledges the Christian to die to sin and ideally to all that is not in accordance with God's will, even though sin is not involved. Baptism also pledges the Christian to live vitally his new life in Christ, his share in Christ's Resurrection. As he is incorporated into Christ through baptism, the Christian is also made a member of the Church. Awareness of this simultaneous incorporation into both Christ and the Church emphasizes for the Christian the fact that his life of holiness in Christ is to be lived out in community. In other words, the Christian lives in Christ within the People of God, within the Church. This stress of contemporary spirituality upon the communal aspect of Christian holiness is firmly rooted in God's revealed truth. Throughout salvation history God has lovingly communicated Himself to man within the covenant framework with its communal dimension. He has also asked for man's response in love within this same covenant framework.

The Church in union with Christ is the new covenant. Since Christ is the Head of His Church, it follows that the Church with her members must live out the covenant life according to the structure which Christ gives her. The Church has no life, no pattern of life, except that which Christ gives her. This basic pattern or structure is death-resurrection. Christ established the Church by His paschal mystery, His death-resurrection. In so establishing the Church by such an event, Christ also determined how the Church essentially lives out her covenant life down through the ages – through death and Resurrection.

The Church, then, continues Christ's death-resurrection. She consequently continues the entire mystery of Christ, since Christ's entire life is contained in His passover event.2 We see therefore why the Church can be referred to as the continuation of the redemptive Incarnation. Indeed the Church is Christ, the mystical Christ. Because she is the earthly continuation of Christ, the Church has everything within her structure needed to be the source of salvation and sanctification for men of all times. For instance, in reference to the presently much-discussed theme of the Church's relevancy to modern man, we know from theological reflection that the Church has this relevancy radically structured within her very existence. This is simply an application of the reality that the Church actually does prolong the mission of the Incarnate Word; since Christ was relevant to His age, the Church has the capacity to be relevant to all ages.

What do we mean by saying Christ was relevant to His age? Christ revealed the Father and communicated the Father's life to men by adapting Himself in a fundamental way to the life situation which existed at that particular time in Jewish history. Since Christ through His humanity adapted His message to the people of His times, so the Church must use her innate capacity to be relevant for the men of this or that age. She must in a sense be constantly reincarnating Christ, for she is the only visible Christ which this world now has. This reincarnation largely means being relevant.

As the Church is the continuation of Christ, so is the life of the Christian. Just as the Church centers her life in Christ's death-resurrection, so does the life of the Christian. Both Church and Christian then are continually dying with Christ, dying to all which is not of Christ. At the same time Church and Christian are meant to rise more and more with Christ, assimilating ever more perfectly His life through grace. This life of grace is the Church's and the Christian's share in Christ's Resurrection. It is true that this life of grace will have its completion only in eternity. Nevertheless, it does have very real beginnings here in this life.

It is therefore apparent why the Church's life is directed to the liturgy, especially the eucharistic liturgy.3 For it is within the liturgy culminating in the Mass that the death-resurrection of Christ is constantly renewed in a special manner. In the Mass the People of God have the constant opportunity to assimilate the death-resurrection of Christ more and more into their lives. As they do so collectively and individually, the People of God are continuing Christ's life and mission upon earth.

The Christian life, then, is a response to God's gift of Himself. God in love gives us a life of grace, a share in His own divine life. We respond in love by giving ourselves to God and our fellowman, by dynamically living out this life of grace, this Christ-life, in the pattern of death-resurrection. This life of grace is meant to be exercised constantly, as the Christian loves God and man, in Christ, according to the will of the Father. Also, to reiterate, God intends that our life in Christ be lived out in the community of the Church. The Christian life can never solely be an individual's response to his God.

As the Christian lives out this life of grace in community, he is offering Christ a new humanity through which He can reincarnate Himself. It is not only through the Church as a whole that Christ reincarnates Himself, but also, ideally, through each Christian within the Church. Each Christian has a special responsibility and privilege. No one else can offer Christ the unique opportunity of reincarnating Himself as can this or that particular Christian. For each Christian is a unique, created imitation of God never again to be repeated. Each Christian has a unique humanity to offer Christ. To the extent that he fails to do so, to that degree Christ has lost this opportunity to reincarnate Himself through this humanity.

Consequently, the Christian life can be conceived as the Christian permitting Christ to live more and more through his total person. Christian holiness is continual growth in the assimilation of that great thought of St. Paul, ". . . I live now not with my own life but with the life of Christ who lives in me." (Ga 2:20).

There are many ways in which the Christian can permit Christ to live in and through him. Love of the Father and love of all men, of course, are the two great themes which will channel this reincarnation of Christ. These were the great driving forces in Christ's life, and consequently they will be so in the life of the Christian.

If the Christian is to grow in projecting Christ through his Christian personality, he must be aware of the many various ways in which Christ loved His Father, and His will. He must be aware of the various ways in which the Father's will comes to him, and thus he will realize the multiple ways in which he is to love the Father in embracing that will. The Father's will can come to him in joy and happiness or in pain and sorrow; in work or in relaxation; in a life of great obscurity as well as in a life which commands public attention; in frustration or in success. These and many other channels of the Father's will offer the Christian the opportunity to continue this witness of Christ's life: no matter how easy or difficult, the Father's will must be lovingly embraced in all things. This is how Christ radically saved the world. This is how the Church, living according to the same principle, cooperates with Christ in furthering His redemptive work.

Christ's great love and concern for men must also be continually reincarnated through the Christian. Contemporary spirituality makes considerable use of personalism.4 One basic way we can apply personalism to our present theme is as follows: God revealed His love to men in a concrete way, through a Person possessing a tangible, visible human nature. Although this tangible, historical Christ is no longer with us upon earth, the basic plan of the Father continues. To a considerable degree He still continues to give Himself, His love, through tangible, visible human natures. It is through the Christian united with Christ that God continues in many ways to make His love tangible, visible – and human – to mankind.

Through these brief indications we can realize the various and many possibilities through which Christ lives again in the Christian. As the Christian in this manner projects Christ to his contemporary world he relives the total mystery of Christ. All the mysteries of Christ's life will be apparent somehow in such a Christian existence. But as the Christian puts on Christ more and more, death-resurrection will be especially apparent. For the Christian will be more and more going out of a self-centered existence, dying to that which is not really life at all, and increasingly passing over into a greater existence, into the life of Christ Himself. In this manner the Christian continues that transition process of passing from a lower to a higher mode of existence. We have seen this transition process to be at the heart of salvation history. We saw it in the exodus-event of the Jewish people. We saw it in the death-resurrection of Christ. We continue to find it in the life of the Christian as he prolongs the paschal mystery of Christ.

Yes, we live a new life in Christ. Christ, therefore, wants to share everything relating to our existence – sin alone excepted. When He united us to Himself in assuming human nature, He united to Himself all our authentic concerns, values and interest. He is truly a man, and He wants to share with us all our truly human experiences. He and His grace want to touch these experiences. Nothing which is really human is alien to our life in Christ.

We enjoy the freshness of a bright clear day, the stillness of the night, the innocence of a little child, the companionship of a friend, the relaxation or stimulation of a good movie. Christ wants to share these joys with us. In our daily work there is a sense of satisfaction, accomplishment and joy – there also can be pain, disappointment and misunderstanding. Christ wants to be there in the midst of all.

A strong, young American, the pride of his father, and full of promise, goes off to war. One day he fights his last and is no more. His father is in anguish and sorrow, and we sympathize. We observe the hatred and suspicion which exists between many white men and many black men, and our hearts grieve. Science achieves a great new discovery, and we are glad for this progress of the human race. A young man and woman are deeply in love, they marry, and their joy is great. And we rejoice with them. All these human experiences Christ wants to share with us, for He, too, is a man. The Christian actually is in Christ, and we must be bold enough to apply this reality to all the authentic areas of our existence. Christ wants it no other way.

The chief source of strength for the Christian as he lives in Christ is the liturgy, for this is the heart of the Church's life. Yet participation in the liturgy alone will not make certain the Christian's progress in holiness.5 The Christian must be constantly living out his previous participation. His life in Christ necessitates various types of activity which complement his liturgical life.

One such form of Christian endeavor is Christian asceticism. Karl Rahner says that our present age is very much in need of a sound asceticism.6 There are various reasons for asceticism in any age. Because of original and personal sin, the Christian has within himself many tendencies which are not in accord with Christ. Whether these involve the exterior senses or the interior senses and spiritual faculties, these tendencies must be controlled; otherwise, the Christ-life, the life of grace, cannot dominate the total person of the Christian as it is meant to do. Christian asceticism therefore embraces the traditional concept of mortification, namely a constant, reasonable control of the total person. Asceticism also includes the idea of organized effort in the spiritual life; it includes moreover the idea of renunciation and penance. These are traditional meanings of the term.

Yet Christian asceticism as contemporary thought conceives it goes further than mere control, organized effort, renunciation and penance. It embraces the reality of selflessness, a gradual going out from self-centeredness. As the Christian grows, his existential frame of reference becomes more and more Christ and others. To live means increasingly to love Christ and men. Paradoxically, the more the Christian goes out of himself, the more he authentically becomes himself, the more he becomes a true person. Viewed in terms of death-resurrection, Christian asceticism is seen to be more concerned with the death aspect of the paschal mystery. However, Resurrection is also present in a proper asceticism, for, among other reasons, Christian asceticism carries with it its own joy – a share in Resurrection joy.

Asceticism and other expressions of the Christian life involve the exercise of the infused virtues, both theological and moral. These virtues can be conceived of in terms of supernatural faculties which give expression to our life of grace in Christ. These virtues, the chief of which are faith, hope and love, give the Christian all the capacities he needs to form meaningful, graced relationships with God, man and the rest of creation. (The horizontal dimension outward to man and creation is receiving special attention in the contemporary treatment of faith, hope and love.) Although the death aspect of the paschal mystery is present in the exercise of the virtues, we more easily identify these virtues with the Resurrection aspect of the paschal mystery. For the life of grace, with the infused virtues playing a dominant role, is our share in Christ's Resurrection.

The life of the Christian must also involve prayer. Why? Our life of grace is a created participation in Trinitarian life. What is life in God? It is essentially a life of knowledge and love. The life of the Trinity consists in the knowledge and love which exists between Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Then it is from the Trinity that the knowledge and love of God also goes out to creation.

Our life of grace is structured in the same manner. In union with Christ it essentially consists in knowing and loving God and in knowing and loving His creation, both on a supernatural level. Because this life of grace is centered in God, prayer is an absolute necessity. For prayer essentially is an interpersonal dialogue between God and the Christian. Without prayer the knowing and loving of God will never be what it should and neither will be the knowledge and love of God's creation. For one cannot envision, one cannot love man and the rest of creation without the intimate contact with God which prayer gives. This is because it is God's vision and God's love of His creation which the Christian shares in the life of grace.

The Christian, however, must not only pray. He must also externalize his life of knowledge and love in various ways. Today's spirituality with its incarnational trend stresses this fact.7 The Christian's life of Resurrection in Christ must to a considerable extent express itself in the daily world which surrounds him. This Christ-life must be expressed in the Christian's concern for the problems of the inner city and in his concern for a more just distribution of the world's wealth. It must manifest itself in the Christian's solicitude for the diseased and the poverty-stricken the world over. This life we have in Christ must incarnate itself in a concern over the spread of pornographic literature and other forms of godlessness. It must manifest itself as solicitous regarding the hatred which often exists between black man and white man. Our Christ-life must also express itself by our showing a tangible, warm love and interest toward those with whom we come into direct encounter.

This list of love and concern on the part of the Christian could be extended on and on. To what extent the Christian will manifest his concern in any of these areas will depend upon his vocation, the graces he receives and other circumstances. Our main point is this: the Christian through his life of grace in Christ has been called to further the creative and redemptive effort of God. He must, therefore, intimately involve himself in the affairs of this world. (Even the cloistered contemplative is called to involvement through such means as prayer.)

We have briefly indicated that the life of the Christian involves liturgy, asceticism, the exercise of the infused virtues, prayer and action. Rounding out such a list are other traditional aids to holiness, for example, spiritual reading, examination of conscience, spiritual direction. All of these are means of expressing our life of grace in Christ. They are also ways of growing in that life. All these should be seen in their connection with the Christian's participation in the passover mystery of Christ, His death-resurrection.

This first chapter has purposely centered the reality of the Christian life around the death-resurrection of Christ. In the remaining chapters we will expand upon the essentials we have treated briefly in these first pages. As we progress, we hope to show in detail that Christian holiness is life in Christ, for our life in Christ contains everything – our love of God, our love of men, our love of all creation. We hope to portray the Christian as one who believes from the depths of his being that to live is Christ.

                R. Now let us see a high hill — up so
high the sky surrounds one up
there — an old shed and God tells
me to go out behind the shed with
one he called to help with the
                messages —

Behind the shed is barren sticks
where there could have been a field
of beauty — beauteous trees with
buds and fruit — full against the
blue, high sky behind an old
                shed is

                    Dried up, withered all the
trees — sticks — so dry they crack these
withered sticks — for He called many
to the Shepherds of Christ to help me
spread these messages — There is with me
one who left — but many left
and there is one tree with puffy
                beautiful fruit — white
what looks like popped corn and
I can imagine a whole field
of this flowing in the wind where now
there are sticks — so dry — done and
fruitless against the blue sky —

a waste for it could have
                been so beautiful, but men
                listen to satan, abandon their

Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus I Love You

 April 13, 1994

Words of Jesus. Read before the Tabernacle.

Jesus:  How, child, do I, Jesus, tell you I love you? You hold on to silly things when God is in your midst and is ardently loving you. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am writing to each precious child this day. I am on fire for love of you. I remain in the Eucharist to be with you with My ardent love. I did not want to leave My beloved ones at the Last Supper. I love you so, My dear and ardently loved children. I remain with you this day in the Blessed Sacrament, the same Jesus Who died a brutal death on the Cross.

Do you know I am truly present there? Do you know that God waits every day for you in the tabernacle? Do you comprehend even a minute amount of My love? You will never know of how I love you on earth.

I, Jesus, truly the Son of God, came to earth a man and suffered a brutal death for love of you. I love you so much! I remain with you this day. I long for your love. I want you to come and be with Me in front of the tabernacle. I wait, I yearn for you to come and whisper your love to Me. I am a person and I love you this day, with such an ardent on-fire love! No human could ever compare a speck to My love for you.

I wait, little ones, in the tabernacle. I wait for you to come and receive Me in Communion. I want you to want Me so much you cannot wait to come and receive Me. I want to be the love, the center of your life!

I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am writing to you this day. I want to possess your very soul and live in you. I have all you need, sweet ones. Oh, you are so blind! I long for your union with Me. I wrote the book of love. I instituted it, yet you go to the world for your love and do not even come to Me! Oh, I love you, little ones. Little ones, beloved of the Father, loved by the Holy Spirit, mothered by My very own mother! What more can I say? The rest is up to you!

I give you your will with such love and I want your love freely given. I am God. What do you think you could ever need that I do not give you? I am the Savior of this world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. I am waiting for you. I am longing for you. I am yearning for you. I am God. I have all you ever will need!

Surrender this life to Me. Pray My Prayer for Union with Me. I want to possess your soul and operate from your very being. I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am Who am. I died and rose on the third day.

Harken to My call, harken to My pleading. Spend your days in love with Me. Nothing matters unless it is rooted in Me and rooted in My love. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I love you with the tenderest love. I am waiting this day for just you, My beloved one. Come to Me for I am the tenderest of all hearts. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

                R. Do we do what all those who
left did, abandon our vocation and
                leave a barren field —
                focus on ourselves —
                listen to satan —

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

             From Tell My People

        Age of the Two Hearts

Jesus:  "My beloved priest-companion, I have allowed you to experience in extraordinary fashion the riches contained in My Heart and My Mother's Heart. I desire that you tell all My people about these riches. I desire that My people consecrate themselves to My Sacred Heart and to Mary's Immaculate Heart. My people are living in the beginnings of the age of the Two Hearts.

"After the time of the purification is completed, this new era of the Church and the world will become firmly established. This era will be characterized by the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. All those who consecrate themselves to My Heart and to My Mother's Heart will help to establish this glorious new age. I am Lord and Master. Please listen to My urgent request. Within Our Hearts you will experience the love and security, the peace and the joy, which you all desire. I love My people with a tremendous love, and in My love I give them this message!"

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

    1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
    2. For the Pope.
    3. For all bishops of the world.
    4. For all priests.
    5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
    6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
    7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
    8. For all members of the human family.
    9. For all souls in purgatory.

The Birth of the Full Ministries
of the Shepherds of Christ

"I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

"Jesus has told us that Shepherds of Christ Ministries includes: the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, Shepherds of Christ Associates prayer chapters, various publications, including books, whatever else Our Lord directs us to undertake.

"As members of Shepherds of Christ Associates, you are an extremely important part of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. You have given great joy to the Heart of Jesus by responding to His invitation to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. As He draws you closer to His Heart and to His Mother's Heart as Associates members, He will fill you with an ever-increasing experience of His love, peace, and joy."

A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

Song: A Priest is a Gift from God

                Song: God's Love

                Given August 21, 2011 - Late

                R. We have such a gift with the Eucharist
Healing when we go to the Eucharist —

Hebrews 9: 12-14

and he has entered the sanctuary once and for all, taking with him not the blood of goats and bull calves, but his own blood, having won an eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkled on those who have incurred defilement, may restore their bodily purity. How much more will the blood of Christ, who offered himself, blameless as he was, to God through the eternal Spirit, purify our conscience from dead actions so that we can worship the living God.

                R. God gives us a sharing in His life —
God gives us the ability to co-create in marriage —

What is God's Plan for us?
                What is the Natural Law?

We pray through intercessory prayer —
Mary is a great intercessor —

She asked Jesus at the Marriage of Cana
for the first public miracle of Jesus —

We want to pray — not only for ourselves,
but for those who went before us —

Have you forgiven all those in your family
                    that caused us hurt —

You can have love - hatred relationships
                    with Mothers, Fathers etc. —

So you love your mother —

But you can also have this anger against
them for what they did to you —
                    Love - hate —

They must be forgiven - entirely —

Do you know that when you repent that
                    God forgives us,

But what about someone we wouldn't
                    really listen to their wanting
                    forgiven —

We have to let our deceased mom, dad,
                    sisters go —
                    where we forgive —
where we in our heart have a
                        feeling of love, forgiveness
                        of our mom, dad, brothers,
                        sisters, spouses etc.

It is praying for the souls in purgatory
in love — loving them, forgiving
                    them —

I loved Fr. Carter — He was our Founder,
                    but Jesus said —

December 18, 2000, 3:00 a.m. Jesus said:

Would you wish to deprive Me of giving a holy soul their reward?

That is what they lived for, that some day they would be with Me in heaven.

end of excerpt

                R. I wanted Fr. Carter to be with Jesus —

He is still alive, Jesus says —
But he is better now —

I surrender my mom to God —
                She died when I was 5 —

I had to mourn her death and let go —
                I loved her
                She was my mom —
She was taken away with cancer
when I was little — she got
                    cancer when I was even
                    smaller than 5 —

We pray for all the abortions —
All those little children murdered —

We tell God we are sorry for these sins of
                    the human race —

We want peace in relationships in love —
We want to have relationship problems
                    resolved in our hearts —
                    healed —

                Forgive them
                Love them —

Who do we know in our family — our
lives who were unlovable — who
                    hurt us the most —

If they are deceased we need to pray
for any one with a hard heart —
                    Give love —
Love as Jesus wants us to love —

                Praying for them —
                Praying for alcoholics, drug addicts,
                    praying in love —
                    relying on God's might to
                    help heal that person —

The devil is the father of lies —
                    we want the truth —

We need to be reconciled to God —
                We need to forgive
We need to be holy — one sin offends
God — it is turning away from
                    God — choosing ourselves
                    over God —

Oh God we praise You — Holy Spirit
                    speak to our hearts —

                Jesus touch us —

God the Father, in the Name of
Jesus, in the Holy Spirit united
to Jesus in the Mass with
all the angels and saints —
                    outpour Your healing
                    grace upon us, our
                    ancestors, our relationships,
                    on our priests —
                    on our leaders
                    on America
                    on the human race —

                We love You God —

Sing: Oh Lord Hear our Prayer—
                        We praise You God

                Sing: Holy God

                Sing: Come Holy Ghost

Sing: Glory and Praise to Our God

                R. Let us spend time thinking of
                    anger we have in our
                    hearts toward our parents —
                    in our younger years and
don't lie — or, idolize saying
                    a person didn't hurt us,
                    when they deeply hurt us

Bring it out — Look at it —
See the oppressed or strained relationship —

Morn over it for a proper time, but forgive
and get out of that bondage —

Our life is so short —

We are to have relationships with God and
                    others in love —

Oh God help us to see deep into our hearts —
We want to be touched by You —
                    heal our families, relationships of
those who went before us —

                Heal us dear God —

                Outpour Your grace —

Let us be open to Your touch — not
                    caved-in, untrustworthy —

                Heal our anxieties
                Heal our depressions
                Heal our inferiorities

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

                R. Heal tendencies toward jealousy, envy,
pride, seeking dominance for dominance sake —

Holy Spirit Novena

DAILY NOVENA PRAYERS

Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Dear Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus, in union with Him in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in the Holy Spirit. We come to You united to the Child Jesus of Good Health and the Infant of Prague. We come to You in the perfect, sinless heart of Our Mother Mary, asking her powerful intercession, uniting ourselves to her holy tears. We come to You united to all the angels and saints, and the souls in purgatory.

Prayer for Holy Spirit

We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on us, to be baptized by the Holy Spirit, that He will descend mightily on us as He did on the Apostles at Pentecost. That the Holy Spirit will transform us from fear to fearlessness and that He will give us courage to do all the Father is asking of us to help bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. We pray for the Holy Spirit to descend mightily on the Jesuits and the Poor Clares on the Shepherds of Christ leaders and members and on the whole Body of Christ and the world.

Protection by the Blood of Jesus

We pray that the Blood of Jesus will be spread on us, everyone in our families, and the Shepherds of Christ Movement, that we will be able to move steadfastly ahead and be protected from the evil one.

Healing

We pray for healing in body, mind, and soul and generational healing in ourselves, in all members in our families, and in all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, the Jesuit Community, the Poor Clares, the Body of Christ, and the world.

Prayer for Strength and Light

We adore You, oh Holy Spirit. Give us strength, give us light, console us. We give ourselves entirely to You. Oh Spirit of light and grace, we want to only do the will of the Father. Enlighten us that we may live always in the Father's will.

Eternal Spirit fill us with Your Divine Wisdom that we may comprehend more fully insight into Your Divine Mysteries.

Give us lights, Oh Holy Spirit that we may know God. Work within the heart, the spiritual womb of the Virgin Mary, to form us more and more into the image of Jesus.

Prayer to Be One with God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We long for You, Oh Spirit of Light, we long to know God, we want to be one with Him, our Divine God. We want to be one with the Father, know Him as a Person most intimately. We want to know the beloved One, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and live and dwell in Him at all times, every moment of our lives. We want to be one with You, Oh Spirit of Light, that You move in us in our every breath.

Prayer to Be One in Jesus

Let us experience life in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, so we can say as Saint Paul, "I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me...." Let us live, united to the Mass, all through the day being one in Him. Let us be able to love and know in this elevated state of oneness with our God. We long for Thee, oh beauteous God, we love You, we love You, we love You. We praise You, worship You, honor You, adore You, and thank You, our beloved God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Prayer to Dwell in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

We seek to be one in God, to live and dwell in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, our little heaven on earth, to experience life in the all perfect, pure, sinless heart of our Mother. We want the Holy Spirit to move in us and to be united to Jesus as the Bridegroom of our souls and be a most perfect sacrifice offered to the Father at every moment as we unite in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass around the world to help in the salvation of souls.

Prayer for the Holy Spirit and His Gifts

Come Holy Spirit, come, come into our hearts, inflame all people with the fire of Your love.

Leader: Send forth Your Spirit and all will be reborn.
All:  And You will renew the face of the earth.

We pray for the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, we ask for perfection in our souls to make us holy, holy souls likened to God.

Dear Holy Spirit, we give ourselves to You soul and body. We ask You to give us the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord.

Prayer for the Word Alive in Our Hearts

We know, dear Holy Spirit, the Word in His human nature was brought forth within the womb of the woman. We pray that His word will be brought forth in our hearts as He lives and dwells in us. We want the incarnation to go on in our lives. Dear Holy Spirit, work in us.

Little Prayers to the Holy Spirit

Dear Holy Spirit, help us not to be ignorant or indifferent or weak, help us to be strong with the love of God.

Dear Holy Spirit, please pray for our needs for us.

Dear Holy Spirit, help us to respect God and to avoid sin. Help us to live in the Father's will.

Dear Holy Spirit, help us to keep Your commandments and to respect authority. Help us to love all things as You will us to love them. Help us to want to pray and always serve God with the greatest love. Help us to know the truth. Help us to have the gift of faith, hope, and love. Help us to know what is right and what is wrong.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Exodus 20: 5

'You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God and I punish a parent's fault in the children, the grandchildren, and the great-grandchildren among those who hate me; but I act with faithful love towards thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

                R. We want to be holy God —
Heal us at this time God —

                Heal our relationships alive and
                    dead —

                Help us to trust —

Heal our hurts from marriage —
Heal our hurts from children and
their spouses and their children —

If our parents are worried about themselves
                    more than filling children's needs
than it hurts the children not
                    having their needs met —

                Unforgiveness is a real stumbling
                    block —

Open our hearts to love —

Help us to stop those bad habits
with us now — ones passed on to us —
                    ones we pass onto children

Jesus rose from the dead to give us life —
Jesus is so loving to us —
                God is love —

                Listen to what He said

Excerpt from Blue Book 6B - February 9, 1995 Rosary

                The Visitation

7.  Jesus:  Should a mother forsake her child, I will never abandon you! I am with you at every single moment. As you breathe, as your heart beats, I am here. You must totally surrender and trust in Me for I am truly Jesus Christ, the Son of God! You will not learn how to trust unless you let go! I am here with you this night and I ask you to surrender your all to Me, to let go totally and to know that I will lead you as you go on your path.

8.  Jesus:  Do not be afraid for I am forever by your side, guarding you, watching you, caring for you. You are My special soldier to spread My Love throughout this world. It is through your trust that you will be strong soldiers. Come to My Eucharistic Heart and know all that I have to give to you.

9.  Jesus:  I remain with you this day in the Eucharist, the same as the day that Mary carried Me in her womb. I am with you in My Divinity and humanity in the tabernacle. Put your trust in Me for I am truly God! I am the Master! You are My beloved souls! Trust in Me for I will never abandon you, My precious ones!

February 21, 1995 - For Shepherds of Christ Meeting - Before the tabernacle

His Pierced Heart

R.  From the pierced Heart of Christ the Church was born, the Church you called me to be a member of Shepherds of Christ. Jesus is the bread of life. He remains with us this day, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

Song:  I see the host - I know you're here to love and care for me.
Oh burning Heart, oh love divine, How dear you are to me. I see the host I know you're here to love and care for me.

Jesus:  My beloved ones in the Shepherds of Christ,

See beyond what is visible, see Me in the Eucharist. You come to pray here, I am with you. I am truly present in the Eucharist. I am truly with you, this evening.

Oh My dear ones, do you know how truly precious you are to Me. You are My chosen ones to go into the world and spread My love. Oh, I call you here, I love you so, be busy for our love affair is so important.

You will spread My love throughout this world. Surrender your wills to the Father's will. He has a plan for you. You are My special soldiers I send out into the darkened world. Do not let satan talk in your heads, come to Me, be with Me. Who will I send, if you say no. I am calling you, I am asking you for greater and greater union with Me.

Pray the Prayer for Union with Jesus.

Sing the Song:
    You are the Voice
    Here I Am Lord

You have been called by My Mother to come to this Center, she is calling YOU — I am calling YOU — You are My special apostles to spread the Love of My Sacred Heart throughout this world. I love you with a Burning Heart on FIRE for love of you. I loved you to My Death.

JESUS SONG - AMEN ALLELUIA

Suffering, how I suffered to My arms and My shoulders.

You suffer so little, you do not think of the pain I experienced. They flung the cross on My shoulder. A little pain to your shoulder. Do you want to relieve your pains. My shoulder ached, I could not remove the cross. It was so heavy and it continued to press and weigh more and more. My child, My child, every pain you experience remember My sufferings. It is in your little pains that you can realize My immense sufferings and in these sufferings you will realize My immense love.

I love you, each one of you, so much, please listen to Me. You do not realize how I talk to you, how I truly, truly love you. Every word in My letters are My love letters to you. Please My beloved ones listen to Me. Put yourself in My world. You hold on so tight to what you see. See beyond what is visible. Experience all I am teaching you. I can teach you a lesson so profound in the batting of an eye. I am pouring out My abundant grace to you in the Shepherds of Christ. Grow ever closer to Me. Pray for the priests and the Church. Circulate My love letters to the priests and sisters. Tell them of My immense love. Give the priests and sisters Blue Book II. Oh how I love. One priest fixed on My Eucharistic Heart can spread My love throughout the world. Pray for your priests, give them these letters and tell them, how Jesus is talking to them because He loves them so much.

I hung on the cross. My hands were hanging from nails, but the pain to My shoulders and arms. Do you know how they ached as I  hung for three solid hours, so weakened, so wounded, bleeding, My head pounded, pounded, blood hard and caked on. Oh you do not know even a little of My love.

Song:  I know Your love a little now, how dear You are to me. Come give me life abundant life I thirst to be with Thee.

Jesus:  And from My pierced Heart flowed blood and water. You will have life in abundance when you take shelter in My Eucharistic Heart. I pour My life out to you in the Eucharist. Come to My Heart and dwell there, forever in such love.

                R. Today is the Feast of the Queenship of Mary

                Sing: Hail Holy Queen

Excerpt from the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary - sing

Queen of angels,
Queen of patriarchs,
Queen of prophets,
Queen of apostles,
Queen of martyrs,
Queen of confessors,
Queen of virgins,
Queen of all saints,
Queen conceived without original sin,
Queen assumed into heaven,
Queen of the most holy rosary,
Queen of families,
Queen of peace,

                R. We are to give ourselves for the sake of
                    others like Jesus showed us
in His life, death and resurrection —

We are to give ourselves to the mission
of teaching the little ones in the
Church and the world the truth —

                Hitler rigorously taught the children
                    his lies —

Why when the devil wants people to
do something — they give in and
give so much energy to it —

Wouldn't it be great to have that
burning love for Jesus and others and our
vocation we witness to what Jesus
                    wants us to —
rather than becoming an enemy of the cross —

Satan comes and deceives those who give
in like Eve in the garden —

This scripture is in the beginning
                    of the Bible —

                Mary is the New Eve
She doesn't give into satan —
                She crushes his head —
                She perfectly served Jesus —
She is the handmaid of the Lord —
                Servant of the Lord —
                Disciple of the Lord —
                She did what Jesus wanted

Revelation 12: 1-2

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.

Revelation 5: 9-12

They sang a new hymn:

You are worthy to take the scroll
and to break its seals,
because you were sacrificed,
    and with your blood
you bought people for God
of every race, language, people and nation
and made them a line of kings and priests for God,
to rule the world.

In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and the living creatures and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands upon thousands, loudly chanting:

Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed
to receive power, riches, wisdom,
strength, honour, glory and blessing.

                R. Do I renounce satan?
                His works?

Mary is the Immaculate Virgin —
Mary always did the will of God the Father —
Mary lived to please the Heavenly Father —
                Mary is our Queen
She wants to help us —
                She appeared in Clearwater

                R. Mary wants us to seek happiness in God —
Mary was without stain of sin —
                Mary is full of grace

Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

"Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

"Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock."

Excerpt from February 5, 1995

Jesus Carries His Cross Up Calvary

2.  Jesus:  Come unto Me you weary souls. You wander and you search and you try to do what you can to please Me and you look at the world and then you want to run back. Focus on Me! Follow Me! I am calling you this day to take My messages seriously! Time is so short! You must pray! You must do what the Father wills you to do! It is so important to My plan! Each person has their part to play in this plan. I am calling each of you here to open your hearts, to listen with your hearts to what you are being told is your part in the plan.

3.  Jesus:  I carried the heavy cross on My back. I carried it for greatest love of you! I ask you to carry your crosses. I ask you to do what the Father is asking you to do. I ask you to lead souls ever closer to the burning love of My Heart!

4.  R.  Jesus came to show us the way. Jesus came to teach us how to love. He left His Word with us to nourish us and He left His Body and Blood, that He gives to us this day, to feed our life.

5.  Jesus:  Come unto Me all who are weary and find rest for your soul for I am truly the Almighty God! I have all the power! You must come to Me and realize that I am truly present and with you this day! No one has any power over Me! I walk beside you on your way! I lead you down the roads the Father has planned for you! Come unto Me all who are weary and find rest for your soul. For peace lies in doing the Father's Will! Your joy will come from the heart that is one with God!

6.  Jesus:  As I surrendered to the Will of the Father, I ask you to surrender this day. Consecrate your hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Pray to the Spirit to fill you with life and vibrancy, to lead you on your way to your union with God!

7.  Jesus:  And I fell under My cross, but I got up again and carried My cross on My back. For greatest love of you, I carried the cross on My back!

9.  R.  Our Blessed Lady walked forever by His side on Calvary as she walks by our side every day. She never leaves us. She is the Most Loving Mother. She is there. She wants to help us on our way, and help us to lead souls ever closer to the burning Heart of her Son, Jesus Christ!

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

February 25, 1995  5:00 a.m.

A Court of Angels and Saints

Jesus:  My heart is on fire and waiting just for you. How these morning hours please Me. Rita you must surrender and do all I ask you.

My plan will unfold, I love you so much. Just do as you are told.

Surrender, Surrender, Surrender to the God who loves you so much.

It is in this surrender you will watch miracles happen. Do not worry for details or events, keep your eyes forever on the crucifix. A crown of thorns I impart to you, a garden of roses is your bed. The thorns are prickly and pick your skin, the roses are soft and cushion your place. You will have roses and thorns. Every day keep your heart set on My crucifix, keep your soul set on the new life. I give you new life. Through the crucifix you will be brought to intense, burning union with Me. I love you, it is through My love for you I allow you to suffer so much. Do not give into yourself. It is in suffering you are made holy. My Holy child, My Saint Rita, I bring her to you as your constant companion. She will intercede for you in the courts of heaven. Ever will you make her your trusted friend.

Oh My loved one, so many dear friends you have in heaven, pulling for your cause to spread devotion to the two Hearts. You are not alone. My child Claude is forever with you and Margaret Mary, Padre Pio, Theresa, St. Dominic and so many others. What you see is what you get. A court of angels and saints to plead your cause, to help you spread this devotion to My Sacred Heart. Pray to St. Rita, she will accompany you on your way. You saw the parade of saints in the grotto. They are parading around the Center in the empty halls, you will have many miracles there through Me. Margaret Mary you saw on the altar. The Center is so blessed, this is My Mother's House. Many miracles will happen there. I have turned it into a monument of healing, It is a place for healing. The Spirit will come especially upon all who go there and make them whole. I am Jesus and I have spoken to you My beloved servants, chosen by My own hands to accomplish great things through Me. Healing will abound and you will be made pure hearts to know the might of the Almighty God. I am Jesus on fire for love of you, My beloved ones at the Center.

Readings - Queenship of Mary

1 Thessalonians 1: 1-5, 8-10

Paul, Silvanus and Timothy, to the Church in Thessalonica which is in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace. We always thank God for you all, mentioning you in our prayers continually.

We remember before our God and Father how active is the faith, how unsparing the love, how persevering the hope which you have from our Lord Jesus Christ.

We know, brothers loved by God, that you have been chosen, because our gospel came to you not only in words, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with great effect. And you observed the sort of life we lived when we were with you, which was for your sake.

since it was from you that the word of the Lord rang out—and not only throughout Macedonia and Achaia, for your faith in God has spread everywhere. We do not need to tell other people about it: other people tell us how we started the work among you, how you broke with the worship of false gods when you were converted to God and became servants of the living and true God; and how you are now waiting for Jesus, his Son, whom he raised from the dead, to come from heaven. It is he who saves us from the Retribution which is coming.

Psalm 149: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 9

Alleluia!

Sing a new song to Yahweh:
his praise in the assembly of the faithful!
Israel shall rejoice in its Maker,
the children of Zion delight in their king;
they shall dance in praise of his name,
play to him on tambourines and harp!

For Yahweh loves his people,
he will crown the humble with salvation.
The faithful exult in glory,
shout for joy as they worship him,
praising God to the heights with their voices,
a two–edged sword in their hands,

to execute on them the judgement passed—
to the honour of all his faithful.

Matthew 22: 13-22

Then the king said to the attendants, "Bind him hand and foot and throw him into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth." For many are invited but not all are chosen.’

Then the Pharisees went away to work out between them how to trap him in what he said. And they sent their disciples to him, together with some Herodians, to say, 'Master, we know that you are an honest man and teach the way of God in all honesty, and that you are not afraid of anyone, because human rank means nothing to you. Give us your opinion, then. Is it permissible to pay taxes to Caesar or not?' But Jesus was aware of their malice and replied, 'You hypocrites! Why are you putting me to the test? Show me the money you pay the tax with.' They handed him a denarius, and he said, 'Whose portrait is this? Whose title?' They replied, 'Caesar's.' Then he said to them, 'Very well, pay Caesar what belongs to Caesar — and God what belongs to God.' When they heard this they were amazed; they left him alone and went away.

                R. Jesus wants holy communities of religious
                Jesus wants holy families
Jesus wants us to be witnesses — bring
                    love to this world

Sing: And Holy Is His Name

                Say Magnificat

Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.

Philippians 2: 8, 10-11

he was humbler yet,
even to accepting death,
    death on a cross.

so that all beings
in the heavens, on earth
    and in the underworld,
should bend the knee at the name of Jesus
and that every tongue should acknowledge
Jesus Christ as Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

                R. We should respect, reverence and love -
those over us — those we live
                    with —

Show love and care as a family —

God wants love in the human family —

We are the family of God —
We share in His life —

God You made us a family
God You told us to love You and others —

                Look at the Holy Family
                Look at the human family

There is a family crisis —

Consecrate your hearts to Jesus and Mary

Sirach 3: 2-6, 13-14

for the Lord honours the father above his children
and upholds the rights of a mother over her sons.
Whoever respects a father expiates sins,
whoever honours a mother is like someone amassing a fortune.
Whoever respects a father will in turn be happy with children,
the day he prays for help, he will be heard.
Long life comes to anyone who honours a father,
whoever obeys the Lord makes a mother happy.

Even if his mind should fail, show him sympathy,
    do not despise him in your health and strength;
for kindness to a father will not be forgotten
but will serve as reparation for your sins.

Psalm 128

How blessed are all who fear Yahweh,
    who walk in his ways!

Your own labours will yield you a living,
happy and prosperous will you be.
Your wife a fruitful vine
in the inner places of your house.
Your children round your table
like shoots of an olive tree.

Such are the blessings that fall
    on those who fear Yahweh.
May Yahweh bless you from Zion!
May you see Jerusalem prosper
all the days of your life,
and live to see your children’s children!

Peace to Israel!

Colossians 3: 12-21

As the chosen of God, then, the holy people whom he loves, you are to be clothed in heartfelt compassion, in generosity and humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with one another; forgive each other if one of you has a complaint against another. The Lord has forgiven you; now you must do the same. Over all these clothes, put on love, the perfect bond. And may the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it is for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.

Let the Word of Christ, in all its richness, find a home with you. Teach each other, and advise each other, in all wisdom. With gratitude in your hearts sing psalms and hymns and inspired songs to God; and whatever you say or do, let it be in the name of the Lord Jesus, in thanksgiving to God the Father through him.

Wives, be subject to your husbands, as you should in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be sharp with them. Children, be obedient to your parents always, because that is what will please the Lord. Parents, do not irritate your children or they will lose heart.

Matthew 2: 13-15, 19-23

After they had left, suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, ‘Get up, take the child and his mother with you, and escape into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, because Herod intends to search for the child and do away with him.’ So Joseph got up and, taking the child and his mother with him, left that night for Egypt, where he stayed until Herod was dead. This was to fulfil what the Lord had spoken through the prophet:

I called my son out of Egypt.

After Herod's death, suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, 'Get up, take the child and his mother with you and go back to the land of Israel, for those who wanted to kill the child are dead.' So Joseph got up and, taking the child and his mother with him, went back to the land of Israel. But when he learnt that Archelaus had succeeded his father Herod as ruler of Judaea he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the region of Galilee. There he settled in a town called Nazareth. In this way the words spoken through the prophets were to be fulfilled:

He will be called a Nazarene.

Guiding Light — Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light — Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light — The Word Alive in Our Hearts

Audio CD — Read by Father Edward J. Carter
$ 10.00  plus postage

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD. — Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #2 — CD. — Suffering: A Source of Life — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. Fr. Carter knew suffering that year. His voice is so powerful as he read each Newsletter from his heart and soul. "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ..." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
