Psalm 118: 24

This is the day which Yahweh has made,
a day for us to rejoice and be glad.

Jesus: I give you today to love and serve
God so all your actions will
                    be those that are loving
                    and according to God's will.
Your day is a precious one
to love the Lord first and
                    to love your neighbor as
                    yourself –

You are called by God to
                    grow in the Christ-life –

                To discipline your unruly
                    ways.

To not walk in darkness –

To see through the eyes of God –

Now I ask you to go into yourself ...

                How do you see others?

                Do you put God first?

                Are you thinking of yourself
                    and your glory?

Do you see men, as I did
                    in love and you are
                    My servant to promote
the Kingdom of God in the
                    Church and the world.

                Go inside yourself –

Do you know how much I
                        love you –

Have you made the Holy Spirit
                        the guest of your soul
                        and invited Him,
                        begged Him to come
                        in and possess your
                        soul with His love –
                        with His wisdom.

Do you walk in the light –
                        living virtuously and
                        choosing in love to be

        more and more in My
                        image and likeness.

Knowing My love and the Father's love
and the Holy Spirit dwelling deeply
in you is the key –
                    Intimacy with God in your
                        heart –
                    You know Our love –
                    You live to perform your
                        actions in right reasoning
                        for everlasting
                        happiness –

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

Jesus: This is your strength –

                This is your goal –
                    Right reasoning –
seeing through the eyes of God –

Loving – even the unloving –
                    because God is operating
in you – you are to be
a witness to the world and
                    spread the Good News –

To be a work in progress –

                So you are being formed
more and more in My image
                    and likeness –

                Seeds scattered that grow
                    to beautiful fruit
                    for the Church and world
                    today and for future
                    generations

My little one, I love you so –
                    I walk with you –
                    I carry you –
I am by your side –
                    I hold you up –

Do My work for Me –
I know all that I have
told you to do and those
                    who oppose you and
                    hurt My plan –
                    They will suffer for their
                        ill deeds –

Pray at Mass as I have taught
                    you –
                    Be focused on Me –
                    I love you – I love you –
                        I love you –
You are precious to Me –

This work I have given in the
Shepherds of Christ is a gift from
                    My Heavenly Father to help
renew the Church and the world
and to help bring the Fatima
                    message to completion –

Mary is the Queen of Peace –

My way is light and love –

I am Jesus, the Son of God –

Please help Me and do this
                    work for the renewal
of the Church and the world

Jesus: Obey the will of your heavenly
                    Father in love.

Pray the Prayer for Union with Me

May 22, 1994  (excerpt)

Jesus: I love you with such an ardent love. My love is the same love that led Me to My death. I will never abandon you. I loved you to My death. I wait for you. I long for you. I want to share My immense love with you this day. When you receive the love of God, you will have the strength to give love to those who are hurting. You cannot do it alone. You are in a battle and your arms are your hearts filled with My love.

Give, give, give. And, when you are weary, see My suffering face on the way to Calvary. I did not fight, I did not answer back. I accepted with love My cross and I gave My love to you. Oh, beloved, study My Passion. It is in this study you realize how much I truly loved you. You may know a little of how I love you, but you cannot fully comprehend My love. I love you, I love you, I love you. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God. Come to Me, My little ones, I love you ardently.

Pray. Prayer can end wars. Hold the crucifix.  end excerpt

                Today's Readings

4th Sunday in Ordinary Times

Jeremiah 1: 4-5, 17-19

The word of Yahweh came to me, saying:

‘Before I formed you in the womb
            I knew you;
        before you came to birth
            I consecrated you;
I appointed you as prophet to the nations.’

The word of Yahweh came to me, saying:

‘As for you, prepare yourself for action.
 Stand up and tell them
 all I command you.
 Have no fear of them
 and in their presence
    I will make you fearless.
For look, today I have made you
 into a fortified city,
 a pillar of iron,
 a wall of bronze
to stand against the whole country:
the kings of Judah, its princes,
its priests and the people of the country.
 They will fight against you
 but will not overcome you,
 for I am with you,
 Yahweh declares,
 to rescue you.’

1 Corinthians 12: 3113: 1-13

Set your mind on the higher gifts. And now I am going to put before you the best way of all.

Though I command languages both human and angelic—if I speak without love, I am no more than a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. And though I have the power of prophecy, to penetrate all mysteries and knowledge, and though I have all the faith necessary to move mountains—if I am without love, I am nothing. Though I should give away to the poor all that I possess, and even give up my body to be burned—if I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.

Love is always patient and kind; love is never jealous; love is not boastful or conceited, it is never rude and never seeks its own advantage, it does not take offence or store up grievances. Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds its joy in the truth. It is always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.

Love never comes to an end. But if there are prophecies, they will be done away with; if tongues, they will fall silent; and if knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know only imperfectly, and we prophesy imperfectly; but once perfection comes, all imperfect things will be done away with. When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and see things as a child does, and think like a child; but now that I have become an adult, I have finished with all childish ways. Now we see only reflections in a mirror, mere riddles, but then we shall be seeing face to face. Now I can know only imperfectly; but then I shall know just as fully as I am myself known.

As it is, these remain: faith, hope and love, the three of them; and the greatest of them is love

Luke 4: 21-30

Then he began to speak to them, ‘This text is being fulfilled today even while you are listening.’ And he won the approval of all, and they were astonished by the gracious words that came from his lips.

They said, ‘This is Joseph’s son, surely?’ But he replied, ‘No doubt you will quote me the saying, “Physician, heal yourself,” and tell me, “We have heard all that happened in Capernaum, do the same here in your own country.” ’ And he went on, ‘In truth I tell you, no prophet is ever accepted in his own country.

There were many widows in Israel, I can assure you, in Elijahs day, when heaven remained shut for three years and six months and a great famine raged throughout the land, but Elijah was not sent to any one of these: he was sent to a widow at Zarephath, a town in Sidonia. And in the prophet Elishas time there were many suffering from virulent skin-diseases in Israel, but none of these was cured—only Naaman the Syrian.

When they heard this everyone in the synagogue was enraged. They sprang to their feet and hustled him out of the town; and they took him up to the brow of the hill their town was built on, intending to throw him off the cliff, but he passed straight through the crowd and walked away.

                R. Suffering is a part of the Christian's
                    life.

When somebody hurts me or we
                    think they do –
                    getting even drives us further
                        from God and makes me
                        feel more miserable –

Think of how Joseph forgave his
                    brothers and God blessed
                    Joseph –

Luke 17: 4

‘If your brother does something wrong, rebuke him and, if he is sorry, forgive him.

                R. I can trust God, but I must
                    learn to be trustworthy and
                    to stand as a trustworthy
                    person.
Jesus was faithful to his mission –
Likewise I am to be faithful
                        to my vocation –

Hebrews 10: 23

Let us keep firm in the hope we profess, because the one who made the promise is trustworthy.

                    R. God keeps His promise –
                    I should be faithful –
                    I can always trust God
                        in everything.

Psalm 18: 30

This God, his way is blameless;
the word of Yahweh is refined in the furnace,
for he alone is the shield
of all who take refuge in him.

                R. Dear God thank You for the guides
You send to me to take me
                    closer to You –
help so I never close myself
                        up in pride and think
                        I am perfect.

Hebrews 11: 1

Only faith can guarantee the blessings that we hope for, or prove the existence of realities that are unseen.

                R. Jesus stopped the storms –
                    Jesus is All Mighty and
                        All powerful –
We must pray to do His will.
                    To love His will.

I can trust God with my life
                    He is All powerful –

Psalm 29: 4

Yahweh's voice in power, Yahweh's voice in splendour;

Luke 18: 17

In truth I tell you, anyone who does not welcome the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.'

                R. Dear Jesus,

Please help us in sending the
Homily book to the priests in the
                United States.       Rita

                Dear Friend,

We had 21,000 more books printed
for the priests – we have sent the
first shipment to priests in your
                state.

Please pray for this – we need a
                donation to send these 21,000
books to the rest of the United States'
Priests. We need to pay for the books.
Help the Church by helping us
                with this printing bill.

This book can help as priests
use the book weekly to send to the
United States priests and they preach to the
people at Saturday and Sunday Masses
focused on the Word and the
                Eucharist.

                    Please help us,

                                Rita

God has given us all talents
to contribute to the building of
                His Kingdom.

When a person is a hypocrite
denying the virtues of others and
lowering the standard God has set
                for a work in a community –
the person seeking to raise themselves
up and invalidate the virtues of
                others deprives the whole
community of the talents God has
given and wants to be at work
for His purpose of building the Kingdom of God.

It is evil to be a hypocrite and
try to deceive men. It is wrong to
live a lie to glorify oneself and
                belittle one's neighbor.

A man that is focused on
proving to others he is better than
everybody else denies the real virtues
                other men have and deprives
the community of the gifts that
God has given through other men.

God has called us to live
according to order. God is over
and we are under him. Man is
to rejoice at the good of others
and live in good will with
                others.

                    God has established order
and men He places in authority
                over others. There is structure
in God's plan and it is to be obeyed.

One is not to try to flatter others
                for their own manipulation nor
is man to try to deceive others
by acting like they are the only
                one who knows everything.
A man can praise people to
                manipulate them and raise
himself up – this is deception.
People are to be like the Heart
of Jesus. Sincere in what they
say, not false flattery to manipulate
                for their own vain glory.

                    A man who is quarreling
                with others will always try
to get the floor by contradicting
others over anything. This man shows
his own pride and lack of respect
                for others.

How can any unity in heart to
                build God's kingdom occur when
a man is divided in his heart
all the time and ready to argue
over the smallest or biggest thing
                for attention, chaos and drama.

The man who is like Jesus
is a man who loves himself
and can give love from his
heart. He uses what he has
to serve God. His heart is
coming from a place of love and
                light toward his brothers. He
loves to be with others and
share with them. He is kind
and generous in heart with other
men – he recognizes that God
created them and called them to
love and unity and to work with
others in the building of the Kingdom.

                    A man can be covetousness
                and hording and stingy with
                time, talents and treasure
                because of his empty attitude
                of love towards others.

A man can want things for himself
and is always trying to figure
                out ways to manipulate things
for his vain glory. He can
                deceive others, be unaccountable
for his actions – his purpose is
his desires at all costs. He
can use tricks and games and
even God's work for his superiority
                and vain glory.

We are to examine our motives
for why we are acting. Why do
I do what I do? Why do I say
what I say? We are to be kind
and in the image and likeness
of God. We are to improve on
those ways we are not the way
God created us to be – Are we
                honest with ourselves about
how we really are? Do we
admit our faults to God and
others and ask for God's help
to be as He wants us to be?

Being more and more as God
wants us to be brings peace
to our hearts – keeps that deep
                connection in our hearts
ever present to God – when we
act to please Him. The man
being unloving and hateful to his
                brothers is opposing God's will
                and has a restless heart.

                    Is my goal eternal salvation?
Am I recognizing God has a
plan for me and seeing myself
through the eyes of God? Am
I acting like Jesus wants, in my love of God
and love of my neighbor and seeing how
                much God loves me?

We check out our motive for
why we do something – is it
to obey God's law of obedience
and love – to bring peace and
unity and the building of the Kingdom
                of God.

If I am going down the wrong
road on a trip – I want to
                know it.

Why would I go down the wrong
road in life when I am accountable
                and responsible to God?
I should want to correct my
error and go down the right
                road with my goal eternal
                happiness and love for God
and love for my neighbor as
                myself.

We want right reasoning – not
                distorted thinking –

We must ask God to help us
                with our defects of character
                and to control impulsiveness
in actions. Pray for the gifts
                of the Holy Spirit –

                From the Holy Spirit Novena

Prayer for the Holy Spirit and His Gifts

Come Holy Spirit, come, come into our hearts, inflame all people with the fire of Your love.

Leader: Send forth Your Spirit and all will be reborn.
All:  And You will renew the face of the earth.

We pray for the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, we ask for perfection in our souls to make us holy, holy souls likened to God.

Dear Holy Spirit, we give ourselves to You soul and body. We ask You to give us the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord.

Romans 8: 28

We are well aware that God works with those who love him, those who have been called in accordance with his purpose, and turns everything to their good.

James 1: 2-3

My brothers, consider it a great joy when trials of many kinds come upon you, for you well know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and

Hebrews 12: 10-11

Our human fathers were training us for a short life and according to their own lights; but he does it all for our own good, so that we may share his own holiness. Of course, any discipline is at the time a matter for grief, not joy; but later, in those who have undergone it, it bears fruit in peace and uprightness.

Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

1 John 4: 11-12

My dear friends, if God loved us so much, we too should love one another. No one has ever seen God, but as long as we love one another God remains in us and his love comes to its perfection in us.

                R. When we work through trials we
                    have a treasure –

Some can let them ruin their
                    lives – being full of
                    anger and bitterness –
                    being resentful and doing
                    nothing to improve a
                    needed problem.

Trials exist in life – it is God's
                    will we communicate and face
                    them according to God's
                    will in love.

How were problems handled in your
                    family of origin – how
have you learned to work like Jesus
                    wants, working through problems
                    in love –

 James 1: 19-20

Remember this, my dear brothers: everyone should be quick to listen but slow to speak and slow to human anger; God's saving justice is never served by human anger;

                R. God has called us to speak language
of the heart. When men work
                    to improve their communication
                    it improves their health –
                    doesn't cause tension in
                    the body – stiff – pressure –
                    not working out problems
                    with others –
                    this is opposing God's will.

                We need meaningful conversation
                    with each other in life.

We were created to love and
                    have unity with others –

  January 14, 2016

Dear Friends,

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

If you read Fr. Joe's book like I did on the 13th you can see how awesome it is.

It helps me understand what is happening in the writings during the liturgical year.

It is so very good, it makes me so eager to live the liturgy in my life,
live in the liturgical year.

Well we have sent over 13,000 of Fr. Joe's new cycle books since the beginning of November to priests and hierarchy
all over the world.

It can enrich so many lives with the weekly sermon rooted in the Word, the Eucharist,
the liturgy,
the Mass,

Baptism, love and unity.

When a priest uses the book weekly he focuses on the Bread of Life to feed the people.

Say a priest says 4 or 5 Masses weekly
Think of how many souls could be reached with the people attending Mass.

Fr. Joe speaks of love and being a member of the body of Christ, living in relationships
all in the context of the scripture.

We see salvation history and its ups and downs -
we see our calling from God
and we see our part in salvation history.

God calls - we respond.

The body of Christ can help the world to raise up to greater perfection.

What are you doing to help this coming election in the United States.

This book of Fr. Joe's can help so many people every week.

We have sent over 13,000 books out to priests and hierarchy to every priest in your state.

We have sent the books to so many priests in the United States and all Bishops.

Can't you help us.

We also send a Prayer Brochure with the Shepherds of Christ prayers praying for the priests, the Church and the world.

We pray in adoration 8 days a month with usually 6 Masses for you, your family and the priests the Church and the world.

We pray in 24 hour adoration before the Exposed Blessed Eucharist in China for all this and for you.

The China mortgage is due tomorrow

and we are struggling because of giving so much money to the Ministries.

Can anyone help us with a donation.

Also we are printing another 20,000 of Fr. Joe's books
going to all the priests in the United States.

This can enormously help for this coming election.

A weekly Priestly Newsletter used about the scriptures and everything at Sunday Mass.

Please we need your help.

If you want to know what to do to help the world and especially all active priests in the United States please help us with a donation.

We need your help today.
Thanks for your prayers and help in advance.

God Bless you and love you.
