                your powerful intercession.

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Junior Shepherds of Christ Meeting

Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center

R. Mary appeared as Our Lady of Fatima for one hour and 15 minutes. Mary appeared in the Sorrowful Mother statue at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center.

I was at Our Lady's House for the Junior Shepherds of Christ meeting. I cannot remember any great apparition of Mary in the Sorrowful Mother statue since August 12 and 13, 1996. She appeared all night and two times on August 13, 1996, once right before I went to the rosary at Tom's farm about 5:30 p.m. (the night John was there and St. Michael came out of the water). Mary comes when you least expect her.

Tonight I went to the Holy Spirit Center for the rosary with the Junior Shepherds of Christ. We could not pray in the Rosary chapel because Fr. Smith was going to say Mass. We could not pray in the Sorrowful Mother's chapel because the pews were draped with work clothes. We could not pray in the social hall because the band was playing. The only place left was in the hall on the other side of the wall from the band. The youth in the Shepherds of Christ chapter decided this was the place and moved pews in front of the statue.

As we began the rosary I began to see Mary, covered with a mist. Then I saw light around her. She got bigger than the statue, her face softened to that of the most beautiful woman–the same as the picture I took on Mother's Day 1995 when she told me to buy film and take her picture. She was all adorned in light. She changed, around her head and she became a young, beautiful girl. She then changed into a lady of immense light, all white, beautiful and young. I wanted to cry in awe looking at her. I wanted to stop the rosary and just see the apparition, but I continued to speak as she spoke through me.

The whole rosary was on Our Lady of Fatima. She turned into Our Lady of Fatima, so white, so beautiful, young in her face. I have seen many statues of Our Lady of Fatima. I have seen her all white and adorned in light before–Our Lady of Light, that is what she called herself.

On October 5, 1996 I saw her at Immaculata in the grotto. She had told me earlier that day she was Our Lady of the Rosary and gave a very strong message.

I do not recall seeing her in an apparition in the Sorrowful Mother's statue since August 13, 1996.

She was clearly, clearly, "Our Lady of Fatima" - LIVE. I saw her. I am in awe and wanted more, it was so beautiful!

She may have appeared as Our Lady of Fatima the first time. She was covered with the greatest light - a light as from a fire and all white, but on July 5, 1994 when she first appeared,

I did not know what Our Lady of Fatima looked like.

I know tonight she was like every statue I have ever seen of Our Lady of Fatima, glistening,, and all white. She had beads or embroidery around her cloak. I know she looked like the Lady of Fatima statues but LIVE.

Every time we sang A Song From Jesus she would shine with the brightest light and her face would fill with the greatest joy.

Even in a lighted hall, Mary would appear to me.

There was no place for Jesus to be born–He was born the Light of the World in a stable in Bethlehem and the brightest star shone above His bed.

This rosary on Fatima needs to circulate to the youth. Mary appeared to tell us to tell the youth this rosary. It does not have any message from Mary, only information from her for the youth.

Mary's message for the youth: a rosary on Fatima–as she appeared to deliver it.

This is a great comfort to me. She appeared, Our Lady of Fatima, to tell us that this is truly a major part of the completion of the Fatima message.

The youth told me they could not hear the rosary, only the loud music of the band. I did not hear the band at all - but was in awe with Mary's appearing and the rosary!

At one point I saw a little blond hair sticking out from under her veil at the top of her head.

At least three times I saw this immense Lady of Light turn into Our Lady of Fatima. It was as if she was transformed from the Lady of Light into the Lady of Fatima.

The room was a brightly lighted hallway with big balls of light that came down from the ceiling.

She was adorned in light, brighter than the hallway, light as bright as seven suns, the Lady of Light.

It is in her womb we see the light, the light of knowing God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

  1. R. Our heavenly Mother Mary, gave messages associated with the major Fatima apparitions. She told Jacinta, one of the three visionaries at Fatima...

"'Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask grace from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her.'27
"This last message offers us an excellent opportunity to summarize the Fatima message. It tells us "that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
"At the center of the veneration for which Our Lord calls is the act of consecration to His Sacred Heart and to Mary's Immaculate Heart." 28

  1. R. You should not be afraid, for Jesus and Mary are with us. They are watching us, and they are helping us in everything that we do. God is in charge.

  2. R. So we come to this rosary to gather and to pray as the Junior Shepherds of Christ Associates. It is in this rosary that we will receive help to not be afraid, to help to take the light to the dark world.

  3. R. It is in going through our Mother Mary that we will be formed more and more into the image and the likeness of Jesus.

  4. R. The Child Jesus was formed in the womb of the Virgin Mary, through the power of the Holy Spirit. When we go to the heart of Mary, the spiritual womb, we are transformed more and more to be children of light.

  5. R. How Mary loves the children of this world. She guards them and mothers them more than any earthly mother. Mary guards us with her motherly care, and watches over us, and wants to lead us to the Heart of her Son, Jesus.

  6. R. Christ showed us. He was born of the Virgin Mary. He came into this world in the Virgin Mary. We too must go to the Virgin Mary in order to have this close union with God. Mary is the gateway into the Heart of Jesus.

  7. R. At Fatima, Mary spoke to the children and she called them her children. We must realize that she is calling us, her children, to the Heart of her Son, Jesus.

  8. R. What of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary? The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are our refuge in this life. They are the Hearts of true love. It is in giving our hearts to Jesus and to Mary that we will have hearts filled with holy love.

  9. R. So much of this world has turned to hearts that are cold. Jesus wants love, burning love, from the children of this world, and He is given a cold heart.

The Visitation

  1. R. We carry Jesus within our hearts.

  2. R. When we visit others we bring the Jesus that lives within us to the other person. We embrace Jesus when we embrace each other in love.

  3. R. Mary went to visit her cousin, Elizabeth. The Child Jesus was within Mary's womb. We carry Jesus within ourselves. We receive Him in the Holy Eucharist. When we go to Communion, we go to our pews, and we have the Son of God within our hearts. He is as present in our hearts as He was when He was carried in the womb of Mary, when she went to visit her cousin, Elizabeth.

  4. R. We do not even realize the great gifts God has given to us when He gives Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist. Think of what it would be like if He took away the gift of the Holy Eucharist, if He took away the Mass.

  5. R. We must be strong. We are the youth that are being sent to go into a world that has turned sinful. Some have turned their backs on God. We must realize, that we must be strong. It is hard in this world, but we must go to Jesus. We must spend time with Him everyday.

  6. R. Jesus is the Son of Mary. Jesus and Mary are with us.

  7. Hail Mary...

  8. R. We must listen to the words of scripture, the words that we are given as teachings. We must pray to the Holy Spirit that we will comprehend the word of God, for God is speaking to us in His word. The Holy Spirit gives us understanding into these words that we will know God and love Him.

  9. R. Mary brought forth an infant child. She watched Him. She cared for Him. All through His life, she stayed close to Him. All through our lives our Mother Mary is forever by our sides.

  10. R. We must be strong, for we are being called by God. It is not a myth. He is calling each one of us to be leaders to help to lead the other youth to God.

The Birth of Jesus

  1. R. The heavenly Father allowed Mary to appear at Fatima, and she told us what we must do. She told us that in order to have peace in the world we must give our hearts to her and give our hearts to her Son, Jesus.

  2. R. She said that if we did not pay attention to her there would be a great war. Man ignored the pleading of Our Lady at Fatima, and there was World War II. Many, many, many people were killed. They suffered a brutal death.

  3. R. At Fatima, she showed the three young children the fires of hell. They were very young, and they said they would have died of fright had Our Lady not assured them that they would not go to hell.

  4. R. Why would Our Lady appear to children and show children the souls suffering in the fires in hell?

  5. R. Mary appears at Fatima, and she is ignored. To this very day we do not do what Mary told us to do at Fatima. At Fatima she promised in the end the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign, and her heart will triumph.

  6. R. Jesus Christ came into the world in the womb of the Virgin Mary. He came as the Light of the World. He will be, in this great era of peace to come, the King and the center of all hearts.

  7. R. He came in poverty. He was born in a stable. He came to show us that the great riches are not found in the riches of the world, that they are found in Him. He is the King, but He comes into this world in poverty.

  8. R. The greatest riches are found in the Heart of Christ.

  9. R. It is so simple. Why do we not love God, why do we not love one another?

  10. R. Why does man think that he can ignore God, that he is in control, that he can do his own will?

The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

  1. The old man Simeon said in the Temple that "Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed-" (Lk. 2:34)

  2. And he said to Mary, "and a sword will pierce your soul too-so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare." (Lk. 2:35)

  3. R. Mary is the Mother of all the children of the world, and look how she is treated by so many of her children. Many abuse her name. They abuse her images. They do not love her. She is their Mother, and they do not love her.

  4. R. Mary told us at Fatima what we must do in order to have peace in this world. The fourth commandment tells us we must obey our earthly mother. What makes us think that we do not have to obey our heavenly Mother?

  5. R. She said that man was sinful and that he was offending God. She said to Jacinta before she died, "I can no longer restrain the hand of my Divine Son from striking the world with just punishment for its many crimes." 29

  6. R. Here it is 80 years after Fatima and we have disobeyed our heavenly Mother and the wishes that she gave to us when she appeared at Fatima. After World War II you would think that everyone would have heeded her message of Fatima.

  7. R. Satan goes about the earth as a roaring lion, searching for souls to devour. When Mary showed the children at Fatima the fires of hell, she was telling them that hell was a reality and that we must go about the world and try to lead others to her Son.

  8. R. What if you were one of the children at Fatima and our Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to you, in her light, and in her beauty? What if she said, "You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go...If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed..." 30 What if she showed you the fires of hell and the souls suffering? Would you help?

  9. R. Would your life change if Mary appeared to you and told you these things? Would you go and spend your life trying to tell others about the vision that she gave to you? Would you take this with the utmost urgency? If Mary was appearing to you, would you do something to heed her warnings?

  10. R. Remember Noah and the Ark? The people were sinning up to the time that Noah entered the Ark.

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

  1. R. They were warned. They were warned over and over again of their sinfulness. They were told that they must change, but they would not obey and so God told Noah to build an Ark.

  2. R. And all men were destroyed, but those men on Noah's Ark.

  3. R. Mary searched for the Child Jesus in the Temple. Today, there are many searching for those things that will make them happy. We will not be happy if our lives are not rooted in God.

  4. R. We must go to Mary in order to be close to God. As Noah went into the Ark for his refuge, we to must go to the heart of Mary. She is the Ark that will lead us to the Heart of her Son.

  5. R. So many this day are sinning. They must go to the temple. Mary is the temple that we go to, in order to find God. We go to her spiritual womb, to her heart, and we find God. We must do as Our Lady told us at Fatima, and give Mary our hearts. All through the day we give Mary our hearts and Jesus our hearts.

  6. R. This is our job, to spread the Fatima message, to do what Mary has told us to do at Fatima, to give Jesus our hearts, and to tell all the other youth that we must do what Mary said at Fatima. We must give Mary and Jesus our hearts, pray the rosary, go to church on first Saturday, and tell Jesus and Mary we are sorry for the sins in this world.

  7. R. Mary's peace plan is so simple to follow. We have disobeyed our heavenly Mother at Fatima. Mary appeared on July 13, 1917 to the three children. Mary showed the three children a vision of hell. She told them,

"You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace."31

We must obey Mary. The plan is the same plan today. We must reach the youth of this world with the consecration We must tell them to give their hearts to Jesus and Mary.

  1. R. Mary is the temple. We will find Jesus if we go to Mary.

Song: "Oh Holy Dwelling Place of God..."

  1. R. We have been given great gifts from Our Lord and from Our Lady. We want to be leaders, to lead other young people to Jesus and to Mary. We must thank them for the gifts we are given, for what we do with our lives will make the difference to so many souls. She showed the children the souls in hell. Visualize this as clearly as possible in your mind. What you do to help to spread the message of His love will make the difference to so many souls.

  2. R. Can we truly look at our Mother, Mary? See her before us, adorned in the greatest light. See her glistening? Look into her beautiful face, into her eyes. Tell her we must help to lead her children to the Heart of her Son, that you will help her to help others so they will not be lost to the fires of hell forever.

                27th Sunday Readings - Cycle A

Isaiah 5: 1-7

Let me sing my beloved
the song of my friend for his vineyard.

My beloved had a vineyard
on a fertile hillside.
He dug it, cleared it of stones,
and planted it with red grapes.
In the middle he built a tower,
he hewed a press there too.
He expected it to yield fine grapes:
wild grapes were all it yielded.

And now, citizens of Jerusalem
    and people of Judah,
I ask you to judge between me
    and my vineyard.
What more could I have done
    for my vineyard
that I have not done?
Why, when I expected it
    to yield fine grapes,
has it yielded wild ones?

Very well, I shall tell you
what I am going to do to my vineyard:
I shall take away its hedge,
for it to be grazed on,
and knock down its wall,
for it to be trampled on.
I shall let it go to waste, unpruned, undug,
overgrown by brambles
    and thorn–bushes,
and I shall command the clouds
to rain no rain on it.
Now, the vineyard of Yahweh Sabaoth
    is the House of Israel,
and the people of Judah
    the plant he cherished.
He expected fair judgement,
    but found injustice,
uprightness, but found cries of distress.

Psalm 80: 9, 12-16, 19

you cleared a space for it,
it took root and filled the whole country.

Why have you broken down its fences?
Every passer–by plucks its grapes,
boars from the forest tear at it,
wild beasts feed on it.

God Sabaoth, come back, we pray,
look down from heaven and see,
visit this vine;
protect what your own hand has planted.
They have thrown it on the fire like dung,
the frown of your rebuke will destroy them.

God Sabaoth, bring us back,
let your face shine on us and we shall be safe.

Philippians 4: 6-9

Never worry about anything; but tell God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition shot through with gratitude, and the peace of God which is beyond our understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, let your minds be filled with everything that is true, everything that is honourable, everything that is upright and pure, everything that we love and admire—with whatever is good and praiseworthy.  Keep doing everything you learnt from me and were told by me and have heard or seen me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Matthew 21: 33-43

‘Listen to another parable. There was a man, a landowner, who planted a vineyard; he fenced it round, dug a winepress in it and built a tower; then he leased it to tenants and went abroad. When vintage time drew near he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his produce. But the tenants seized his servants, thrashed one, killed another and stoned a third. Next he sent some more servants, this time a larger number, and they dealt with them in the same way. Finally he sent his son to them thinking, “They will respect my son.” But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, “This is the heir. Come on, let us kill him and take over his inheritance.” So they seized him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?’ They answered, ‘He will bring those wretches to a wretched end and lease the vineyard to other tenants who will deliver the produce to him at the proper time.’ Jesus said to them, ‘Have you never read in the scriptures:

The stone which the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
this is the Lord’s doing
and we marvel at it?

‘I tell you, then, that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.'

                R. On October 8, 1997, I
                received this message.

October 8, 1997

Jesus: Seedless, barren, not bringing forth fruit on the vine. I come to be heard and who pays Me heed. To a people of stiffs I address this issue, what think you when the water is gone from the trough?

Do you think you will then worship the molten calf or will you be ready for surrender then?

Oh, you thankless race, anger and wrath is the mind of your God. You do not worry, My messenger, for I am God and I speak to you. You think you are alone and I have chosen you. Your money is your god, oh people of Zion - your money in the pockets is the sound that brings you joy.

What brings Me joy is the songs of the faithful, praising and worshipping God, but I go to the tent and there is the molten calf and an abased nation of stiffs, heartless and filled with fear. I beg of you to stop now before it is too late, but you do not know of the chastisement I have in store for you - it is under the plan of the Father.

The children who walk in darkness carried a molten calf in their arms and the God of justice struck the earth.

He struck you, senseless people, because you would not listen.

I did not put you on the earth and then leave you to yourselves. I dwelt amongst you to guide you in all your ways and the people today spit on Me as they did 2,000 years before. For all these years I waited for the likes of you, My people, and why should you have more time for false joy? Joy is not in the molten calf. It is in the words of the Savior.

My Words are your truth, yet you try to wash them away as hearsay and of no importance.

My Word is the Word of God mighty and true. I have been ignored and defiled in My Word. I smite you, My senseless race. I allow the dragon to devour your young for you are the senseless race. I allow the dragon to devour your young for you are the senseless children of Eve.

Debased, proud and dead, really dead in your hearts.

I give you sunshine and rain and you want flowers and glory.

The glory is Mine or I will have to continue to listen to the wailing widow, a barren branch, a company of stiffs.

Ignore Me no longer senseless ones. My hand is upon you. It will come down and wipe out the senseless virgins, the ones singing to the molten calf.

Rachel could hear the slaughter of her children and she wept such bitter tears. The Lady Clothed as the Sun bore the barren race; they did not come to her grace-filled womb.

The thankless race marched into a pit of doom and destruction.

As I was pressed in the garden watching the days at hand, as I was squeezed, what came forth from My pores was the saving Blood for the children of Zion and when they ate from the land they feasted on rich food and strong drinks, the candy of the earth and it made them sick - sick to the death of their souls and the Lady Clothed as the Sun heard the cries of her sick children. I give you the medicine for the sick children in these writings and they chase you and make you fall to the ground. I watched you skin your knees when you carried the scrolls that contained My letters of love, My words from the depths of My Heart. You fell as I once did on the way to Calvary. I fell, I skinned My knees, My Body burned and I got up and went to the end.

The end was the beginning for the children of Zion for at that hill My cross was planted erect, a tree of life, and the juice that was squeezed 'till there was no more from the one "Son of Man, the Son of God", was the juice of the Man. It was His saving Blood.

They pressed Me in the Garden of Olives and I bled for the thankless race. They hung Me on a tree on the hill of Calvary. When I gave them the New Eve they chose the molten calf. They spit on My Mother, they ignored the visitations. She came and gave to the children to remind them of their covenant with God.

Oh senseless ones, so many will now fall, for I hung there and to the right was one and to the left another. The one was saved; the other was cursed. You picked from the tree when you should have obeyed your Father. He gave you His will. He said, "You may eat of all the trees in the garden but not this one." and you continually ate of the forbidden fruit. I warned you, My children, and you chased My messengers and made them run. I gave to you My Book of Life, My Bible, and you ate the sick fruit and it made you so sick you wanted to die but you kept eating when I told you the end was near and now that the end has come, what do you say for yourself? You ignored the Lady Clothed as the Sun. She appeared in all glory and splendor and so many months later so few go to her site to even see her. So is it My fault or yours our money does not come to publish your books and tell the world about the Woman in Florida? It is not My fault, I am God. I am the faultless One.

You want joy. I have no joy for the likes of you, My children of Zion, you have usurped My thrones and treated My body as rubbish. I am God. I come in the Eucharist and I am ignored. I speak no longer. The days that follow will be the days to cleanse this earth.

I am angered beyond all anger for the way My Mother has been treated in Florida by the thankless race. They have worshipped the molten calf and ignored the Lady of Light, the Lady Clothed as the Sun, the Lady of Fatima in the Americas, Our Lady of Guadalupe, bringing forth her children. The good will suffer with the bad; the wheat will be separated from the darnel (weeds). You walked like little stiff men with your haughty hearts. Your heads were your gods. I gave you great minds to comprehend My mysteries and you used your minds to worship false gods and make movies that defile My priesthood. What of your minds? I do not even have energy to tell you how unworthy you used the mind, the intellect I gave you. You used this great faculty to commit the worst sins, and My head was crowned with the sharpest thorns for your sick earth. Oh, you squeezed the Blood from the Son of Man. You pressed that Man in the garden, when He knew this race of this day.

I now see the Woman on the building, My Mother, so loving to the children I gave her and the mean ones threw acid on her face. Oh, you race of vile hearts and thankless ways. I will clothe the holy ones in the white robes of glory. The thankless ones I will turn over to the red men that will hand them over to the keeper of the pit and their bodies will be burned in the burning sulfur of the pool of death. Come, My children of light, your Mother called you through the consecration. She showed you the way home to My Heart. She carried a lighted lamp and lighted your way in the darkness. You were not foolish like the virgins that carried a lamp without a light. Your light for the lamp was My life alive in your hearts. When the darkest night comes you will know the flames of My love alive in your lighted hearts, burning with the fire from the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I give you the fuel, My faithful virgins. I gave you the fuel to light your lamps that in the dark night that lies ahead, you will still shine as a beacon light, a light of intense brightness no matter how dark the night. You will not die for your refuge is the fire of the Sacred Heart and you gave your heart to the New Eve, the pure and Immaculate One and she took you to the Heart of your Savior. She took you home and you dwelt within the chamber of My Heart and you were protected from the evil one in these last days. You tried to spread this consecration. It is the key that leads to the place of refuge. So many camps the devil told men to prepare and they labored in vain, for the Word was had in dwelling in Our Hearts. You would find refuge and they missed the message and busied themselves with the work of the evil one.

I say to you what refuge survived when Noah built his ark? Only those on the ark survived the great flood. You prepare your earth. When My Word was to prepare your hearts. Then again, they worshipped the church building, the grounds and the wood and their hearts were left as cold vaults. I beg you, My beauteous ones, to beg the men to prepare their hearts before it is too late. Only the Ark of the Covenant will be the means of survival in this dark age. When the moon turns to blood they will run away frightened and their buildings will be like cold vaults - only the hearts consecrated to Our Hearts will survive.

You were willful and too busy to know the story. The story is this: There is but one home; it is the Heart of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. My Mother is the gatekeeper. It is through her Immaculate Heart you enter. She is the singular vessel, a New Eve, a Woman Clothed as the Sun, a doorway to the everlasting abyss of Light, the Light of the World, the Sacred Eucharistic Heart of the Son of Man.

There was not room for Me in the Inn and there is not room for Me in the hearts of many and what can I say - they will die. I gave them the book of life. I gave them the Man who hung on a tree to save them. I gave them Myself, truly present in the Eucharist, the Eucharist and My Word I gave them. I gave to them My Mother - the way to enter into My Heart and they were haughty and proud. I was born in a stable in Bethlehem for you, My men. I am the Light of the World. The foolish virgins had no oil for their lamps and they went out. And you could hear the wailing cries of her children being slaughtered in the dark night. Oh, the Lady Clothed as the Sun warned them to come to her heart and the Heart of her Son (the Light of the World) and they went to the molten calf and they died a brutal death.

                R. This was 17 years ago –

This message is in Blue Book 17.

                R. At the same time Fr. Carter
had the following Priestly Newsletter he
                wrote and circulated to 85,000
                priests and hierarchy –

It was also translated in Spanish
                every other month and
                circulated to South America.

                In this Priestly Newsletter –
                Fr. Carter talks about Mary.

Priestly Newsletter Book II - September/October 1997 p. 103

Scriptural Reflections

In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.

Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.

Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".

                R. Fr. Carter's words are so beautiful –

                R. Fr. Carter then speaks of Jesus.

Scriptural Reflections

People are Looking at Us. "You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill-top cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp to put it under a tub; they put it on the lamp-stand where it shines for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine in the sight of men, so that, seeing your good works, they may give the praise to your Father in heaven" (Mt 5:14-16).

Jesus taught by word and action. He talked to huge crowds, to small groups, to various individuals. He talked about love and friendship, about joy and suffering, about life and death. He had a message to spread, His Father's message, and He did not miss His opportunities. It was not enough for Him merely to talk about His Father's message. He was also constantly teaching by the total event of His life, death and resurrection. Not only His words, but also His actions spoke out loud and clear. He not only talked about the love we should have for one another. He incarnated this teaching in the laying down of His own life for the salvation of all. His words spoke eloquently of brotherly love. So also did His bloody and bruised body nailed to a cross. His words sounded so convincing. The way He went about living could also pierce the hardest heart.

Jesus invites us to assist Him in the continuation of His teaching mission. The method of procedure remains the same; we, too, like Jesus before us, are to teach by both word and action. The opportunities for teaching by word are more numerous than we might expect. For it is not only bishops and priests and teachers of religious studies who teach by word. Parents, as they rear their children, have numerous opportunities to teach Jesus' message. Friends talk about all sorts of things. If one is sincerely Christian, his or her friend will eventually know.

The opportunities to teach about Jesus by the way we act are even more numerous than are the occasions for variously speaking about the message of Jesus. People are looking at us. We cannot long hide the life-vision which thrusts us forward, which motivates so much of what we do. If we live according to the pleasure principle, this becomes evident. If
we live according to the money principle, this also becomes manifest. If we are close followers and friends of Jesus, this too becomes clear to people. They will know by the way we work and play, by our attitude towards life and death, by our refusing to become bitter despite even great suffering, by the way we treat others, especially those who are poor, or ridiculed, or discriminated against, or passed over as unimportant and of little worth. If we are deeply Christian, Christ's way of thinking and doing will necessarily affect our own way of thinking and doing. We are called to project Jesus and His message through our own humanities. Either we do, or we don't. Either we seize the numerous and daily opportunities for helping to preach Jesus by the way we live, or we do not. Either we respond to Jesus' invitation to be a light for the world, or we do not. This invitation goes out to all, but to priests in a special way. Jesus, through Holy Orders, has given Himself to the priest in a most special way. If the priest, realizing Jesus' precious love for him as this unique priest-companion, surrenders to Christ, this gives Him special joy. For the priest, because of his special union with Jesus, can be a light to the world in a most extraordinary way.

                R. The way Fr. Carter wrote in small
                    sections
                    he did so –
                    so priests could use the
                    Priestly Newsletter for meditations
                    for two months

Then Fr. Carter sent another Priestly Newsletter –
every two months as the Sacred Heart
                    told him –

As Fr. Carter was writing and sending
the Priestly Newsletter – I was receiving
                    the messages and rosaries –
                    like this Priestly Newsletter –

I received the end of Blue Book 16
and the beginning of Blue Book 17.

                His lead article matches the
                    October 8, 1997 writing
                    with a quote from
scripture – the Vine and the
                    Branches.

Here is Fr. Carter's lead article.

                Priestly Newsletter September/October 1997

To Live in Christ Jesus

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd is one who lays down his life for his sheep. The hired man, since he is not the shepherd and the sheep do not belong to him, abandons the sheep and runs away as soon as he sees a wolf coming, and then the wolf attacks and scatters the sheep; this is because he is only a hired man and has no concern for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for my sheep. (Jn 10:11-151)

Yes, the Good Shepherd has laid down His life for us. Through His life, His brutal and agonizing suffering and death on the cross, and His glorious resurrection, He has achieved new life for us. We truly live a new life in Jesus: "You have been taught that when we were baptized in Christ Jesus we were baptized in His death; in other words, when we were baptized we went into the tomb with Him and joined Him in death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father's glory, we too might live a new life." (Rom 6:3-4).

And again Paul speaks to us: "...wherever we may be, we carry with us in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may always be seen in our body." (2 Cor 4:10).

Christ has come to give us a share in Trinitarian life. In Baptism the Persons of the Trinity have given Themselves to us in an extraordinary fashion. The intimacy of this Trinitarian communication imprints upon us the image of the Trinity. Because Christ as man mediates this Trinitarian gift, this image also possesses a Christ-like dimension. This Christ-like, Trinitarian image within us is our life of sanctifying grace. This life of grace, this Christ-life, allows us to communicate with Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the divine Persons who dwell within us. This Christ-life allows us to pour ourselves out in love of God and neighbor.

The life that Christ has given us is not a type of superstructure which is erected atop our human nature. Although nature and grace are distinct, they are not side by side as separate entities. Rather, grace permeates nature. The Christian is one graced person. He or she has been raised up into a deeper form of life in Christ Jesus. Nothing that is authentically human has been excluded from this new existence. Whatever is really human in the life of the Christian is meant to be an expression of the Christ-life. The simple but deep joys of family life, the joy of being accepted by another in deep friendship, the wonderment at nature's beauty, the agony of crucial decision-making, the success or frustration that is experienced in one's work, the joy of being well received by others and the heartache of being misunderstood-all these human experiences are intended to be caught up in Christ and made more deeply human because of Him.

Christ, has come, then, not to destroy anything which is authentically human, but to perfect it by leading it to a graced fulfillment.
There follows various ideas concerning our life in Our Savior, our life in Christ Jesus Our Lord.

                    priests centered in consecration to
the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,

Pray For The Success Of The Priestly Newsletter - Shepherds of Christ

R. The following is the first official message I received before the statue of Mary at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center. It is a personal message for Father Carter.

Mary: (in front of the glowing statue of Our Lady of Sorrows) I am the Immaculate Heart. My Heart is glowing for love of all my beloved children. I am your most loving Mother. I am with you this day. Pray for the success of the priestly newsletter Shepherds of Christ. I am guarding your way. You will receive such graces to accomplish this task! Grace from God is so abundantly bestowed on you and will lead to the success of this endeavor! Pray for this cause at the Center. The priests will lead the people to the love of My beloved Son. This is no little task. It will take many prayers and graces. Pray hard, little one. Your prayers will change many hearts.

I am Mary, your Immaculate Mother. I bring this message to My beloved priest-son.
