Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Mary: If men obeyed just authority there would not be a problem.

My children,

I am the Queen of Peace.

I come to you today November 13, 2018.

Please pray for the Church, the Bishops, the Pope, the Cardinals this day.

I am holy Mother of the Church. You need to pray as you have never prayed before.

Sing:
Holy God We Praise Thy Name

Sing my shepherds:
A Song from Jesus

Mary: Sing because of your fervor and love of God.

Sing for your country, sing for the pope.

Authority is being abused by those under authority.

This is disorder.

Authority must be restored for anything to operate correctly.
When those under authority challenge and fight the authority, it brings chaos, confusion, darkness and Satan controls.

The more people rebel, the more disorder and bedlam there is.

You offend God challenging, holding out, arguing just authority.

If your first thoughts are doing God’s will in love this will never happen.

Obedience is what the Two Hearts show you.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God.

Jesus and I obeyed God in love and not depending on the price.

You have been given great gifts in this Movement not given to the greatest saints.

These gifts are to go out to the world.
The pilgrims are welcome where God rules.

Joy and peace reign when one is doing God’s will in love.

Putting God first in all your actions.

Asking yourself what you are to do in your heart to please God.

This Movement is about love, obedience, hearts, God’s will, love, unity, strength in prayer.

If you want blessings, you don’t do what you want opposed to God’s will, then tell yourself you are right.

Sin is ugly. It comes from stubborn willfulness and it offends God who gives and gives and gives love to you.

Be obedient children of the heavenly Father.

He has a unique plan for you in salvation history. Cooperate with the Father's plan in your vocation.

Don’t be rebellious of order and cause disorder through willful power and control.

Disorder brings sufferings not blessings from God.

I am Mary Queen of Peace. God has entrusted the peace of the world to me.

You must seek conversion and make reparation for your sins.

I am Our Lady of Clearwater, Our Lady of Fatima in the Americas.
I love you my children. Spread this Movement as Jesus has called you in your vocation.

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

    1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
    2. For the Pope.
    3. For all bishops of the world.
    4. For all priests.
    5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
    6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
    7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
    8. For all members of the human family.
    9. For all souls in purgatory.

R. Feed the hungry.

We are hungry for God.

Spiritually hungry.

I dreamt that I was teaching a group of us in a circle.

I tried as hard as I could to tell how Jesus must be deeply in our hearts.

God wants to be the King of our hearts.

He wants to dwell in us.

God gives us Himself in the Eucharist.

God comes into us.

Jesus gives us Himself Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

He loves us so much.

He wants intimacy with us.
Life is in Him.

How can I explain what He has taught me deeply my whole life?

It is depth.
It is God in us.
It is life in Him.

It is a mystery.
We must open our hearts.
Seek God’s will.

Live according to the commandments.

Be truthful and when we sin, not cover it up in secret, but ask for forgiveness.

Ask for grace to be holy and pure.

God loves us.

He wants us to love.

God wants us to seek forgiveness and mercy from Him.

This love in us He has taught me to teach about for 30 years.

It is a mystery.

It is purity in our hearts.

Life in Him.

Cling to Me

May 13, 1993

Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.

You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.

When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.

I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.

I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy.  end of May 13, 1993

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Dear Donor and Member,

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

Mary appeared on the building in Clearwater December 17, 1996. Blue Book 18 is about Jesus, the Bridegroom of the Soul. He gave me writings and this prayer.

Also included are rosaries about this from Morrow, Ohio and China, Indiana, 5ths and 13ths, January, February and March 1998.

Jesus gave this message January 22, 1998 because the prayers for the priests, the Church and the world and devoted to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart are so important.

January 22, 1998

I am the Good Shepherd, these are My prayers, the prayers I give to help renew the Church and the world, all prayer chapters are asked to include these prayers (found in the Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual). As My Apostles and Shepherds I ask you to encourage all existing Chapters to try to encourage all existing prayer groups to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Encourage all Churches to pray these prayers. It is most urgent that the people of this earth concur with the Father's wishes to begin Prayer Chapters. This is an urgent request from the Good Shepherd. The flock will become one when they have given their hearts to Jesus and Mary. Encourage all priests to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Your world will be lighted with great light as the people of this earth pray these prayers.

My promise is this to you My beloved earth: When you give your heart to Me and spread the devotion to My Sacred Heart, I will write your name In My Heart. I promise to give the greatest graces when you pray these prayers for renewal of the Church and the world and take all who pray them deeply into My Heart. The prayers I give will bring about the reign of My Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. I am Jesus Christ, this is My message of January 22, 1998, Please circulate this message to your world. I am the Good Shepherd, I know Mine and Mine know Me and they follow Me. Grace My Shepherds, I will give you the greatest graces for spreading these words to this earth and to your Church. I love you, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, it is the Plan of the Father that Prayer Chapters are begun immediately and the Priestly Newsletter is given to all priests. The Voice of the Good Shepherd speaks through it.

Also Fr. Carter, S.J., our founder, gave an important talk at Morrow in February, 1998 and the Priestly Newsletter – Issue 1, 1998, Wisdom of the Saints is included in Blue Book 18.

There is a large print Prayer Manual and Holy Spirit Novena at the end of the book.

Please help us circulate these beautiful rosaries, writings and prayers. We operate on donations, your help is appreciated. Love and Thanks.

March, 1992

Jesus: I died on the cross for you.
It is no myth, believe and
know My presence now.
Believe, believe and live in My love,
I am He who powers you, you are My
motorboat and you are being powered.
I am keeping you afloat,
I am the power that is
endless, I never run out of gas,
you can go, go, go and know you will
not drown, you will stay afloat and
stay steady in the raging waters –
My power is there keeping you, oh
so steady, hold My hand and feel
My power, know My presence,
My power, My glory, you are My
child and I love you. I am here with you
every second of your life, hold My
hand until that day in which you
will see the light and enter into
eternal glory, because you lived to
do God’s will in love. Oh beloved
of My Father, the glory that waits those

who love and serve the Lord, you will
never know, how it will be, like this
presence in your heart, like the warmth,
like the hand and I will help you do what
you need to do, I will give you your
strength and your healing, you will be
your old self now, take My hand and
do not be afraid, I am He who
comforts you and I am He who powers
you, you are My motorboat – you
won’t falter, you will be steady and
you will have power.

June 1, 1992

I am He who comforts you –
    Do not be afraid –
    though you walk in the
dark valley, know I am with
you lighting your way –
You are My child –
Oh child – know I am with you,
know I light your path –
I am your God –
feel the breeze –
I made it for you –
the beauty of the earth –
I made for you –
Feel My presence in the moment.

Ash Wednesday, February 25, 1998

Jesus: Do you think I acted on your soul less when I gave you the experiences of hell?

I give to you the greatest graces to know My love. I act directly on your soul. I am the Bridegroom of your soul.

R. Oh Jesus, He took me to the heights of ecstasy in Him in realizing how He is the Initiator and acts on my soul. How foolish I am indeed to think it is I who control the workings of God on my soul, when in fact He is the Bridegroom of my soul.

I see Him look at me with the greatest love, as I did once in the study, when I knew He looked at me and loved me so. I sat with a white dress and my Bridegroom looked with love on me, thinking me so beautiful to Him, me the little child of the Father in all my faults, and looking on me with such love. He stood above me as a Bridegroom dressed in black, tall and handsome, and He looked down with the most loving eyes upon me and I knew the love of the Divine Creator.

Today I knew how it was, how He acted on my soul.

I see how it is when someone really acts in love and does something for me because that person loves me.

I see myself as open, letting go, putting myself entirely in the hands of the Creator, the God I love, and the Bridegroom comes with the greatest love and His grace. He gives me Himself. My job is to be, just to be, a soul, waiting for the Bridegroom to just give me Himself in the greatest love. I am, I know it is He who acts, and when He acts His presence overtakes my soul. I am, I let go and I reminisce about all the times He just overtook my soul.

Little do I do, for it is the Bridegroom loving me, loving my soul and acting most intimately on my soul.

I sit and surrender myself entirely to Him. He is the Initiator. He is the One Who acts with His grace and NOTHING - no intimate experience, nothing here can fill the soul with this love and satisfaction.

For the Bridegroom acts and the soul is satisfied, the only desire is that it will never end. Sometimes there is such a longing and realizing the temporariness of it all. Sometimes He gives my soul such satisfaction, comfort and love, and I am filled with the greatest peace and satisfaction with less awareness of the temporariness, just peace.

Jesus: I give you the peace of the Sacred Heart of Jesus when He acts on the soul of His spouse. I am the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. I am the Spouse of your soul. I give you this satisfaction so that you will write to Me after Communion for My Mass Books for the world. This book will be entitled the Spouse of the Lamb. I will act on your soul most intimately.

And what My child is the key, but total surrender as a spouse who knows her spouse loves her and takes the love given. You, child, pray for this grace, to be possessed by the Lamb, the Bridegroom of your soul. What lesson did I teach you this day but that it is I who act upon you, you do not control My love given to you in any way. A grace is given, a grace is received.

Your total surrender is the way to most optimally allow the Bridegroom, the Lamb, to act on your soul.

Total yielding, so that you will allow yourself to be IN ME.

R. Oh my God - how to explain that which happens when You act on my soul and what I experience. Are there any words that could do this justice when the Almighty God finds favor with me most intimately, and gives Himself to me?

Jesus: My child, I act, you are passive, empty and open. Surrender and I will possess your soul with the lights of heaven so you can experience your Divine Lover most intimately. Surrender, surrender, surrender, a state of being and surrender to live in Him at the point of greatest intimacy in the Mass.

You will know days of darkness and joy as the shadows and lights fade in and out of your life and I reveal Myself most intimately to you.

I am Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom of your soul. Your hand must record these experiences for the marriage of the Lamb to the soul.

I act upon your soul most intimately.

R.
My beloved Jesus,

The Bridegroom of my soul. It is not I who write, but in fact, You Who write through me, to Yourself. I surrender myself and want to exist in You in such oneness that I can more optimally love You.

This is my desire to give You great love from my heart existent in You.

And this I write for 10 minutes that You will help me to love God most intimately and give myself more completely to Him.

My God, I adore You, I worship You, I love You, my beloved Spouse, the Bridegroom of my soul. I know the black Bridegroom, the one dressed as a bridegroom who wears a white robe of glory. Yes, it is the priests dressed in black that are to teach us to be the spouse of the Lamb.

Revelation 1:6

…and made us a Kingdom of Priests to serve his God and Father; to him, then, be glory and power for ever and ever. Amen.

R. And the Bridegroom comes, He summons the soul.

Oh, my Bridegroom, we pray for the wedding of the Lamb to our souls.

We pray for the spousal relationship of our souls with Our Divine God.

Jesus: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The life flows from My Sacred Heart to My body, the Church. Many never mention the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

What body would survive cut off from the heart? My life flows from My Heart into the body, My Church.

I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus and My Heart will reign - I am calling My people to a personal spousal relationship with God. This is the work of the Shepherds of Christ. I bless you in this mission to bring about the Reign of My Sacred Heart.

I am Jesus, the Son of God, Son of Man, the Sacred Heart, I am the beating Heart that keeps the body alive with My grace.

R. Blood and water poured forth from His most Sacred Heart. Blood a symbol of the Eucharist, water a symbol of Baptism.

He cursed the barren fig tree.

Revelation 6:13

…and the stars of the sky fell onto the earth like figs dropping from a fig tree when a high wind shakes it;

Revelation 7: 17

…because the Lamb who is at the heart of the throne will be their shepherd and will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 5: 10

and made them
a line of kings and priests for God,
to rule the world.

21.                     SPIRITUAL EXERCISES

Which have as their purpose the conquest of self
and the regulation of one's life in such a way that
no decision is made under the influence of any
    inordinate attachment

From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p.12

                        23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION

Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.

Prayer from St. Ignatius

Lord, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost;
To fight and not to heed the wounds;
To toil and not to seek for rest;
To labor and not to ask for any reward,
Save that of knowing
that I am doing your will.

313. RULES FOR DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS
I

Rules for understanding to some extent the different movements produced in the soul and for recognizing those that are good to admit them, and those that are bad, to reject them. These rules are more suited to the first week

314.  I.  In the case of those who go from one mortal sin to another, the enemy is ordinarily accustomed to propose apparent pleasures. He fills their imagination with sensual delights and gratifications, the more readily to keep them in their vices and increase the number of their sins.

With such persons the good spirit uses a method which is the reverse of the above. Making use of the light of reason, he will rouse the sting of conscience and fill them with remorse.

315.  2.  In the case of those who go on earnestly striving to cleanse their souls from sin and who seek to rise in the service of God our Lord to greater perfection, the method pursued is the opposite of that mentioned in the first rule.

Then it is characteristic of the evil spirit to harass with anxiety, to afflict with sadness, to raise obstacles backed by fallacious reasonings that disturb the soul. Thus he seeks to prevent the soul from advancing.

It is characteristic of the good spirit, however, to give courage and strength, consolations, tears, inspirations, and peace. This He does by making all easy, by removing all obstacles so that the soul goes forward in doing good.

316.  3.  SPIRITUAL CONSOLATION.  I call it consolation when an interior movement is aroused in the soul, by which it is inflamed with love of its Creator and Lord, and as a consequence, can love no creature on the face of the earth for its own sake, but only in the Creator of them all. It is likewise consolation when one sheds tears that move to the love of God, whether it be because of sorrow for sins, or because of the sufferings of Christ our Lord, or for any other reason that is immediately directed to the praise and service of God. Finally, I call consolation every increase of faith, hope, and love, and all interior joy that invites and attracts to what is heavenly and to the salvation of one's soul by filling it with peace and quiet in its Creator and Lord.

317.  4.  SPIRITUAL DESOLATION.  I call desolation what is entirely the opposite of what is described in the third rule, as darkness of soul, turmoil of spirit, inclination to what is low and earthly, restlessness rising from many disturbances and temptations which lead to want of faith, want of hope, want of love. The soul is wholly slothful, tepid, sad, and separated, as it were, from its Creator and Lord. For just as consolation is the opposite of desolation, so the thoughts that spring from consolation are the opposite of those that spring from desolation.

318.  5.  In time of desolation we should never make any change, but remain firm and constant in the resolution and decision which guided us the day before the desolation, or in the decision to which we adhered in the preceding consolation. For just as in consolation the good spirit guides and counsels us, so in desolation the evil spirit guides and counsels. Following his counsels we can never find the way to a right decision.

319.  6.  Though in desolation we must never change our former resolutions, it will be very advantageous to intensify our activity against the desolation. We can insist more upon prayer, upon meditation, and on much examination of ourselves. We can make an effort in a suitable way to do some penance.

320.  7.  When one is in desolation, he should be mindful that God has left him to his natural powers to resist the different agitations and temptations of the enemy in order to try him. He can resist with the help of God, which always remains, though he may not clearly perceive it. For though God has taken from him the abundance of fervor and overflowing love and the intensity of His favors, nevertheless, he has sufficient grace for eternal salvation.

321.  8.  When one is in desolation, he should strive to persevere in patience. This reacts against the vexations that have overtaken him. Let him consider, too, that consolation will soon return, and in the meantime, he must diligently use the means against desolation which have been given in the sixth rule.

322.  9.  The principal reasons why we suffer from desolation are three:

The first is because we have been tepid and slothful or negligent in our exercises of piety, and so through our own fault spiritual consolation has been taken away from us.

The second reason is because God wishes to try us, to see how much we are worth, and how much we will advance in His service and praise when left without the generous reward of consolations and signal favors.

The third reason is because God wishes to give us a true knowledge and understanding of ourselves, so that we may have an intimate perception of the fact that it is not within our power to acquire and attain great devotion, intense love, tears, or any other spiritual consolation; but that all this is the gift and grace of God our Lord. God does not wish us to build on the property of another, to rise up in spirit in a certain pride and vainglory and attribute to ourselves the devotion and other effects of spiritual consolation.

323.  10.  When one enjoys consolation, let him consider how he will conduct himself during the time of ensuing desolation, and store up a supply of strength as defense against that day.

324.  11.  He who enjoys consolation should take care to humble himself and lower himself as much as possible. Let him recall how little he is able to do in time of desolation, when he is left without such grace or consolation.

On the other hand, one who suffers desolation should remember that by making use of the sufficient grace offered him, he can do much to withstand all his enemies. Let him find his strength in his Creator and Lord.

325.  12.  The enemy conducts himself as a woman. He is a weakling before a show of strength, and a tyrant if he has his will. It is characteristic of a woman in a quarrel with a man to lose courage and take to flight if the man shows that he is determined and fearless. However, if the man loses courage and begins to flee, the anger, vindictiveness, and rage of the woman surge up and know no bounds. In the same way, the enemy becomes weak, loses courage, and turns to flight with his seductions as soon as one leading a spiritual life faces his temptations boldly, and does exactly the opposite of what he suggests. However, if one begins to be afraid and to lose courage in temptations, no wild animal on earth can be more fierce than the enemy of our human nature. He will carry out his perverse intentions with consummate malice.

326.  13.  Our enemy may also be compared in his manner of acting to a false lover. He seeks to remain hidden and does not want to be discovered. If such a lover speaks with evil intention to the daughter of a good father, or to the wife of a good husband, and seeks to seduce them, he wants his words and solicitations kept secret. He is greatly displeased if his evil suggestions and depraved intentions are revealed by the daughter to her father, or by the wife to her husband. Then he readily sees he will not succeed in what he has begun. In the same way, when the enemy of our human nature tempts a just soul with his wiles and seductions, he earnestly desires that they be received secretly and kept secret. But if one manifests them to a confessor, or to some other spiritual person who understands his deceits and malicious designs, the evil one is very much vexed. For he knows that he cannot succeed in his evil undertaking, once his evident deceits have been revealed.

327.  14.  The conduct of our enemy may also be compared to the tactics of a leader intent upon seizing and plundering a position he desires. A commander and leader of an army will encamp, explore the fortifications and defenses of the stronghold, and attack at the weakest point. In the same way, the enemy of our human nature investigates from every side all our virtues, theological, cardinal, and moral. Where he finds the defenses of eternal salvation weakest and most deficient, there he attacks and tries to take us by storm.

328. RULES FOR DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS
II

Further rules for understanding the different movements produced in the soul. They serve for a more accurate discernment of spirits and are more suitable for the second week

329.  I.  It is characteristic of God and His Angels, when they act upon the soul, to give true happiness and spiritual joy, and to banish all the sadness and disturbances which are caused by the enemy.
It is characteristic of the evil one to fight against such happiness and consolation by proposing fallacious reasonings, subtilties, and continual deceptions.

330.  2.  God alone can give consolation to the soul without any previous cause. It belongs solely to the Creator to come into a soul, to leave it, to act upon it, to draw it wholly to the love of His Divine Majesty. I said without previous cause, that is, without any preceding perception or knowledge of any subject by which a soul might be led to such a consolation through its own acts of intellect and will.

331.  3.  If a cause precedes, both the good angel and the evil spirit can give consolation to a soul, but for a quite different purpose. The good angel consoles for the progress of the soul, that it may advance and rise to what is more perfect. The evil spirit consoles for purposes that are the contrary, and that afterwards he might draw the soul to his own perverse intentions and wickedness.

332.  4.  It is a mark of the evil spirit to assume the appearance of an angel of light. He begins by suggesting thoughts that are suited to a devout soul, and ends by suggesting his own. For example, he will suggest holy and pious thoughts that are wholly in conformity with the sanctity of the soul. Afterwards, he will endeavor little by little to end by drawing the soul into his hidden snares and evil designs.

333.  5.  We must carefully observe the whole course of our thoughts. If the beginning and middle and end of the course of thoughts are wholly good and directed to what is entirely right, it is a sign that they are from the good angel. But the course of thoughts suggested to us may terminate in something evil, or distracting, or less good than the soul had formerly proposed to do. Again, it may end in what weakens the soul, or disquiets it; or by destroying the peace, tranquility, and quiet which it had before, it may cause disturbance to the soul. These things are a clear sign that the thoughts are proceeding from the evil spirit, the enemy of our progress and eternal salvation.

334.  6.  When the enemy of our human nature has been detected and recognized by the trail of evil marking his course and by the wicked end to which he leads us, it will be profitable for one who has been tempted to review immediately the whole course of the temptation. Let him consider the series of good thoughts, how they arose, how the evil one gradually attempted to make him step down from the state of spiritual delight and joy in which he was, till finally he drew him to his wicked designs. The purpose of this review is that once such an experience has been understood and carefully observed, we may guard ourselves for the future against the customary deceits of the enemy.

335.  7.  In souls that are progressing to greater perfection, the action of the good angel is delicate, gentle, delightful. It may be compared to a drop of water penetrating a sponge.
The action of the evil spirit upon such souls is violent, noisy, and disturbing. It may be compared to a drop of water falling upon a stone.
In souls that are going from bad to worse, the action of the spirits mentioned above is just the reverse. The reason for this is to be sought in the opposition or similarity of these souls to the different kinds of spirits. When the disposition is contrary to that of the spirits, they enter with noise and commotion that are easily perceived. When the disposition is similar to that of the spirits, they enter silently, as one coming into his own house when the doors are open.

336.  8.  When consolation is without previous cause, as was said, there can be no deception in it, since it can proceed from God our Lord only. But a spiritual person who has received such a consolation must consider it very attentively, and must cautiously distinguish the actual time of the consolation from the period which follows it. At such a time the soul is still fervent and favored with the grace and aftereffects of the consolation which has passed. In this second period the soul frequently forms various resolutions and plans which are not granted directly by God our Lord. They may come from our own reasoning on the relations of our concepts and on the consequences of our judgments, or they may come from the good or evil spirit. Hence, they must be carefully examined before they are given full approval and put into execution.

136. THE FOURTH DAY

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human nature

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

window at a former Jesuit Seminary

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.

146. THIRD POINT.   . . .

                November 13, 2018 continues

                R. Saying you want to get rid of inordinate
                    attachments and not intending
to stop the ways you offend God.

Not obeying the commandments and just
                    authority means you're not
on the side of God –

If a man wants to grow spiritually
he must pray for grace to
stop being prideful, seeking to be
                    right when you sin, envious,
                    working in secrets against the
                    Father's Plan for chaos, confusion,
                    control, division, etc.

You have to want to break the inordinate
attachment for it to stop and an
                    individual to grow in the
                    spiritual life –

                God calls us to holiness.

Matthew 5: 48

...You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.’

                R. A man doing what he wants in disorder
                    and not sincerely wanting God's
will of love – lying to himself
about the truth of his own defects
of character will not change –

There must be that moving of unity in
one's heart – interior union with
God to grow in the spiritual life –
The Blue Books do this –

Humility is truth – a person who wants
to grow in the spiritual life,
wants to die to sin and grow
                    in holiness –

The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius help
us to have habits of living
by God's will in love, of being
                    accountable for sins and responsible
                    of duty –

In living in obedience in the
                    religious life to superiors, they
                    are pleasing God –

We must have complete sincerity of
                    dying to ways that are
                    inordinate attachments –
                    disciplining oneself –

Telling the truth about one's defects
                    of character and sincerely
                    working to change them –

We are to seek the will of God in all
our actions and live by it.

Sincerely wanting to die to ways
in which we offend God –
                    sincerely pray and work hard
                    to change.

The exercises of St. Ignatius are set up
                    to help the soul remove
                    inordinate attachments
that stand in the way to being
                    close to Jesus.

The exercises help the soul to sincerely
give God their will and their life –

The exercises help men to become
                    lovers of Jesus Christ –
                    God is love –
There must be self - giving.

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

                R. God works in order, in structure –
                A person fighting structure, order,
                accountability – refusing corrections
                and directions is OUT-of-ORDER.

                A person must remove DISORDER
                    from their lives –
                    SINCERELY want it –
                    not hollow words –
or the person who won't even
                    respect authority at all
                    and has made authority an
                    enemy –

1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

                R. There must be a plan of reforming
                    one's life –
Talk is cheap if the person
                    doesn't intend to change –

Life of one out of order –
                    must be re-ordered –
                    Living for control and blocking
what God wants is DISORDER –

A person needs to embrace the will
of God – face to face with God –
not keep acting out old dysfunctional
                    patterned behavior and forcing
it on others – without accountability
                    and responsibility –

After the Patriotic Rosary

R. I have to play this song. I love it. Because if you really think how much God suffered on the cross, and suffered in His life and think about the Resurrection and He did all that, and that paid for the price of all our sins. You got to see that if you go to Mass or do your Morning Offering, that it's just going to bring down a bunch of grace. Right? It's not us, I mean, it's us wanting to do it, but we don't have to be perfect. We just have to want to try to do everything that we can for God and be co-operating and doing God's will and loving Him.

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. My little grandson, most of the pictures on my phone are Mary, because I pray that rosary every night, and I get this wonderful picture of Mary on there. And so I showed him his pictures, and he's two, and if it goes over to the one in front of him, then I say "and who's that" and he says "Mary". It's so cute.

Song: Mary Did You Know

Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son and my heart was in such anguish, for my little ones that would be lost forever. And I cry to you and I ask you to listen to me and so many turn a deaf ear. I am Mary, your Mother, and I ask you please, my children, to listen to the message that God has given to me to deliver. For so many of the precious souls that Jesus died for will be lost to the fires of hell. But you do not listen and pray as God has called you, my children.

Song: Mary Did You Know

Mary: So much grace is given, my children, given when you pray.

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Yes!

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Do we not hear, the message of Jesus and Mary, how much God loves us, that He died for us? And that this tremendous grace is falling, like snow from the heavens, when we unite to the Mass and pray. And we go to Mass, because if we want things to change, we must get God's help. It won't work. Do you get this? Isn't it a mess?

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Who can do that?

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Who can do that?

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Can you imagine what it was like for Mary to touch Jesus after He died on the cross, to hold Jesus' bloodied and lifeless body?

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. He came a little baby and we are so haughty. It's when we walk in humility, helping others, trying to co-operate instead of saying, "well they can't ask me to do that, who do they think they are?" Are we putting God first?

Song: "Did you know that your baby boy was heaven's perfect Lamb" from the Song *

R. The Lamb of God, Jesus, the Son of God came to be slaughtered.

Song: "..and the sleeping child you're holding is the great I am"  from the Song *

Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son and my heart was in such anguish, for my little ones that will not listen and will be lost forever. And I cry to you year after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, and they run from the place for they do not want to pray. What are they doing with their busy lives? So many need this message, the message that will help them to have eternal salvation, and they turn their backs and run away - for what, the garbage pile?

Song: Mary Did You Know

Hail Mary

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Do we recognize the power is in God? Do we adore Him? Do we genuflect to Him? Do we give Him the respect that is due, the love - the Divine God, the Almighty?

Song: Mary Did You Know

R. Do we see this, that Jesus is truly present and with us in His Divinity and humanity in the Eucharist? Why don't we see?

Pride is such a stupid thing, you know - to want to be right. To want to be right when you are wrong. And Jesus went to the cross and was beaten for this pride and envy and anger and jealousy. And people can just do the exact opposite of what God calls for, and parade in front of Him to try and test Him. Why would you do that to somebody that you loved? Why would you do that with what is His? Why would you not be out there, the first one in the line doing everything that you can to help it to happen, so that you are cooperating with Him. Why would you take the other side and walk in darkness? I don't get it. Do you get it? I don't get it. I don't get it.

And then I see this baby, I mean, it's like God blesses us, if we have humility. And Jesus came a little baby. And somebody can just grow more and more, as they get older and older, with a harder and harder heart, just all clogged up. And Mary says as she appeared for 24 years, "I stood beneath the cross of my Son and so many of my children are being lost."

My dad was a CPA and I was little and I thought I was helping him. He would put stamps on the letters and he would lick the envelopes and I would get to sit on those envelopes to make sure they stayed sealed and I was so happy. Mary is not happy that we are sitting on Jesus' Blue Books. Do you get that? You know. What good is that doing? How could we get 80,000 Blue Books out there, like we did? People were all over the place, weren't they Rosie. They were all over the place. Because they wanted to know about the love of God. You know, you can be afraid of walking into a room with somebody in there, because of what you are telling yourself, and then staying in a great big facility all by yourself and that doesn't scare you? What do you think about that? You know. You want right reasoning. If we are going to be afraid of something, we ought to be afraid of how we are not obeying the will of God.

God has given us so many messages that we can really embrace that love of Him, and as we get older, prepare ourselves to see Him face-to-face. He's just laying out His red carpet of blood and love. Say "yes". Cooperate with Him. Be good. If you are afraid to be good, it's not what you are suppose to be doing. The Blessed Mother is the perfect Handmaid of the Lord. We are suppose to be taught. We are disciples, we don't know about God. We need God to teach us. We open up our hearts, and we let Him in. And then we thank Him for helping us to grow spiritually. Right? It's a gift. Who knows? You never know if you are going to be here tomorrow, do you? You better start doing something soon, that's all I got to say, right? We better get on our face-to-face shoes, right?

You know, I have a pair of socks, and I knew I liked them. I got them at Target. They have glasses on them. Now why do you think - I liked them from the first moment I saw them. I went down there about 6 months later and bought myself some more socks. They are white with black glasses all over them. Doris would appreciate that after all the glasses I have put on the internet. Now I know why I liked those socks. I might stop on the way home and see if they got any more.

See through the eyes of the heavenly Father, and then go up there and see Him face-to-face. How are you going to see Him face-to-face? We can't see Him face-to-face down here, because to got some work to do, right? But man, we want to go up there when we go, and then at the same time, when you are realizing you have to obey God, you still have to realize how much He loves us. You can't short-change yourself and have pride in the fact, 'well God should love me, hah-hah, I did so much for Him.' I mean, is that the way we know His love? No! It's like He is so good to me and I am a sinner. Wow! But if He gives me a nudge or I see that I did something, I don't want to offend Him, I want to tell Him I am sorry. Right? Repair the breach.

You know I was thinking, that He gave me that message this morning. It was about religious, how they take the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. And just think of that, that is a highly spiritual marriage, especially that are a religious that has the vow of chastity takes with God. It is a spiritual marriage. It is wonderful. And we look at Mary and the Holy Spirit, and we see that Jesus came to this earth. Mary, Jesus' Mother and the Holy Spirit. By the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus came. Then we see how honored a religious is that God asked them to have this spiritual marriage with them. Isn't it great? It's not like He is trying to hold you down, and you're saying - - -. It's like, when you love somebody, you want to give them everything you got, right? You know, sometimes I get tired of the football and it would maybe be, you should have one less cup of coffee, but anyway, but I do it anyway. Right?

Anyway, God is so good. That is all we got to say. God is so good. God is with us. We got to, and the word that He likes is, co-operate. That is a big word. You don't need to do your own darn thing. You need to co-operate. You need to work with people, that He put us here to work with. We need a plan where we are doing the Father's plan and we are all happy when it gets done, right? Co-operate. He loves the word, co-operate. Co-operate. That is great. We got a free will to co-operate. Why would you turn your back on God and then keep going down in the darkness? The more you turn your back on God, the more you just see the darkness? You know what I am saying? You just see things in the dark. How do you like to walk around in the dark? I don't know about you, but I don't particularly like to walk around in the dark, do you?

One time I tripped over my own shoe, and I hurt my toe for about 3 weeks, because it was dark. I don't particularly like to walk around in the darkness. Well, that is how we see in the spiritual life. If you want to keep on walking around in the darkness and operating in the deadly sins, putting yourself right, trying to make what is wrong - right, and right - wrong, you are walking around like I did that day and I hurt my toe, and you are hurting your soul when you are walking around in the darkness. You should just plain old don't see. I am going to get those socks on the way home. Yeah. The ones with the glasses. Maybe they will help me see. They are so cute. I hope they have them. I may have to go to a couple of Targets. I knew I loved them from the first moment I saw them, because they had these glasses on them. Nobody else was moved like me. Anyway, Amen.

Are we going to pray? Pray united to the Mass. Jesus has taught us for twenty-some years how to pray united to the Mass, because He is teaching us that, that is so powerful, like Fr. Mike praying for us and saying Masses. Right? You feel the grace right away, because the Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present. And you know, the Mass Book is beautiful and Blue Book 15 is beautiful, isn't it. It's a great book. It is really a good book. We need to circulate the Blue Books, because they are God's Blue Books and they need to go out there, that's why. That's why.

That is what Fr. Carter did from the beginning. I remember the first Blue Book was out there and he said, "She just put out God's Blue Book I" and he was telling everybody. He was so proud of that book and then he said those books are not only yours, they are mine too. I thought, wow! That's good. That's what Fr. Carter thought. He took the responsibility he was to help me to get those books out, because they really belong to God. When the one guy kept giving him Blue Book III and changing the words, the guy had an English dictionary, that was like, I don't know, a foot high, and He did that with Father's Newsletter too. He checked Father's Newsletter. It took Father 4 days to argue with him because he argued about the English in Father's Newsletter. So he was doing that with the Blue Book for 2 years and then Fr. Carter said about Blue Book III. He said Rita, that book is going out the way it is. It will do more good to help souls than if I just keep sitting here trying to figure out what he is saying. The man with the dictionary wanted to take out things like, Mary knew Him in her heart or just great big things, like Revelation 12: 1. You know, like the Prayer for Union, come to me Lord and posses my soul. That's our goal, to be possessed by God for all eternity.

Somebody told me, they said oh people at the Holy Spirit Center don't like that, because they think you are talking about the devil and being possessed. I said that's not what Jesus said and that's not how Fr. Carter discerned it. But you know, the more you are blind and the darker you are, the more that the devil can come with those details. You know how he gets you with the details. And he keeps, like a woodpecker, hammering on those details, telling you, you are right; you're right and they are wrong; you're right and they are wrong. Isn't that what the devil says, and you keep listening and it's usually about some stupid detail.

When you really ask yourself what you are afraid about, you might see something in a different light. Right? But you got to admit to yourself you are afraid first. You know if you have been looking at yourself your whole life and seeing yourself in your core thoughts, that you were never too good, you always kind of did things wrong or you weren't going to go nowhere. Those are the core thoughts. Right? The things you may have gotten from wounds and stuff from the past. You got to get rid of them. That's not how God created us. God created us in His image and likeness to do what He wants us to do down here. And that is coming from satan, when you are running yourself down, in your core self, like Fr. Carter called it. You know, that core self needs to be like God made it. How did God make our core self? Beautiful. He's got a plan for that beautiful self. And you got to change those old stupid tapes. Even if they have been in there for 60 years, then they got to go out of there. He talks about the core self in his Response to God's Love book. Because we got to love the self that God created and make it for what He wants it to be. Right? Amen.

Song: ... I died for you. I come to you this day

R. Amen. In the Name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Audio CD - Read by Father Edward J. Carter
$ 10.00

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD.Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
