Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, life.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
R. Forgiving is what Jesus did when He died for our sins.
Forgiveness is the doorway to love.
Forgiveness is Divine, to error is human.
Jesus: Don’t let the devil win, I died for your sins so you could be forgiven and go to heaven someday, the Father's Plan for you.
R. Sin is hating yourself!
This is a privilege to serve in Jesus’ Movement.
Love takes God.Give devotion and Consecration to the Two Hearts, our little heaven on earth.
Love is putting God first.
Love is obedience to God.
Love is truth.Love is enthusiasm for the cause of Christ.
Love is committed to the Sacred Heart in love and the Immaculate Heart.
Jesus is Light.
Jesus is love.
Jesus loves us to His death.Loving Christ is being devoted to Him and His cause.
The Father said at the Transfiguration:
"This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him."Disciples of Jesus, listen to Him.
Let your heart be full of joy, love, Jesus, kindness.
You were created in the image of Jesus by God the Father.
Love is all around us.
God is life. You have a free will to chose life or death.

A Few Thoughts
The Father is our Creator
God is in charge, we never know when we could be called from our place.
Dear God: You created us to know, love and serve You and thereby attain our eternal salvation.
We are vulnerable, God is in charge. God is with us, now.
God created us to help build the Kingdom of God, but He gives us a free will.
God wants us to love Him, God wants us to obey Him,
God created us to go home to heaven some day.
Loving is an act of the will.God is the Creator, we are the creatures.
We can obey God or disobey God.The first commandment says, we must make God first. It is a commandment. As God’s creatures we are under Him.
We are to obey His Laws and Precepts. We have bodies that have many parts and they can fail.
We use highways, eat food, all kinds of things can stop us in our path.
God created us in the image and likeness of Jesus.
God is love.
God loves us so much.
We are to live our lives focusing on growing in the image of Jesus.Who is in our hearts?
If we keep Jesus in our hearts, we are preparing ourselves for heaven.Heaven is a place for lovers.
Heaven is a reward for those who loved and pleased the Lord.
We must always keep our focus on God.
God is our Father.
Jesus showed us He obeyed His Father. The Father said: “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”
We should serve our Heavenly Father with love and commitment.
The bad angels said: “I will not serve.”
God is Almighty and all powerful, why would we rebel against God our Creator?
We are here to serve God, prepare our hearts for heaven, for when God calls us.
Sing: Eye Has Not Seen
Sing: Choose Life
November 15, 2025
Jesus fell for our sins and they wacked Him when He was down for our sins.
Real moments of connecting in love with others are priceless.
Look what Jesus did for us.
Simeon had to help Jesus carry the cross.
We need to love and help each other.
Look at Jesus, they hit Him on top of bleeding wounds for our sins.
Then Jesus died for our sins.
He tells us to love each other.
November 15, 2025
God has a Plan.
God brings friends in our lives so we can be there to work together and to love.God created us for love.
God made us in the image and likeness of Jesus, to grow in hearts of love and live the Christ-life for the cause of Christ.John 3:16
For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.Choose to do God's will, even when the path isn't certain.
Are you aware of the mess you leave when you refuse to do God's will and fail to love?
We are here to promote the cause of Christ.
We promote the cause of Christ, when we love and live to please the Heavenly Father.Heaven is a reward promised to those who love and serve the Lord.
God is in control.
God has a Plan for our lives.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in Thee.God will provide, He is God, we are committed to live for the cause of Christ.
God must be first in our lives, if we want to follow God the Father's will.
God is light, when a person is filled by God it is seen in their eyes, their heart, their smile, their enthusiasm and devotion to the cause of Christ.
Life goes by quickly. Every day is a gift from God.
We are passing through to go back to our Heavenly Father.
Jesus, His whole life was to go back to His Father (the Ascension).
Mary was assumed into heaven, back to the Father!
Who is in your heart?
Jesus should be and then we are ready when He takes us home.
Remember the prodigal son!!
Make friends while you are here, because one day we will need friends if our health fails us.
Only a fool keeps isolating, what happens if you get sick?
We trust in God, He is our best friend, we serve Him.
I remember Fr. Joe asking me to be his power of attorney for meds -
I never thought all my sisters and brother was gone.
And I had very important decisions I had to make as he had dementia and Parkinsons like my husband.
My husband was so strong then one day it seemed he was sick, like Shelia and Rosie. We need each other, working together on God's plan for the cause of Christ.
If you got a job of importance you would work hard.
God chose you for this job, how should we act in enthusiasm and commitment?
How should we act?
Commitment.
Enthusiasm.
How have you thanked God on Thanksgiving in the past?
Is your face kind to those who God sends to you?Do people see in our face - the image and likeness of Jesus, so they know Him in us?
Do we live to give the Father what He asks for with love and enthusiasm because we love Him and want to please Him?
God is love.
Prepare your hearts so you are ready to move on like Mary and Jesus when He calls us home to the Father.
Who is in your heart?
Jesus appeared transfigured at Holy Cross-Immaculata 29 years ago.
We should be transformed with every Eucharist!!
God wants us to be united.
We, the baptized, are members of the mystical body of Christ.Satan is division.
Let go and let God.
Give your priest & deacon a gift.

Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
Dear Holy Spirit,
strengthen our will and
move like a Divine breath in our soul, to
be docile sons and daughters of our
Heavenly Father. Amen.
Alleluia.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden
1 . Mark 14: 32-44
They came to a plot of land called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, ‘Stay here while I pray.’ Then he took Peter and James and John with him. And he began to feel terror and anguish. And he said to them, ‘My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here, and stay awake.’ And going on a little further he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, this hour might pass him by. ‘Abba, Father!’ he said, ‘For you everything is possible. Take this cup away from me. But let it be as you, not I, would have it.’ He came back and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you asleep? Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.’ Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And once more he came back and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy; and they could find no answer for him. He came back a third time and said to them, ‘You can sleep on now and have your rest. It is all over. The hour has come. Now the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! My betrayer is not far away.’
And at once, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up and with him a number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the traitor had arranged a signal with them saying, ‘The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him, and see he is well guarded when you lead him away.’

Jesus hung for three agonizing hours against the
darkened sky. Jesus gave His flesh! Jesus gave
His Blood! Jesus gave the last beat of His Heart,
the last breath in His body! Covered with blood
and weakened, He hung on the cross! Jesus gives
us His Body and Blood in the Eucharist today.
This is love.
How do we return this Love to Jesus?
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally
made present.

...As you can see, the man has done nothing that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.' But as one man they howled, 'Away with him! Give us Barabbas!' (This man had been thrown into prison because of a riot in the city and murder.)
And for the third time he spoke to them, 'But what harm has this man done? I have found no case against him that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.'
2. What the world
needs now is
devotion to the Sacred Heart

The Crowning with Thorns
1. Matthew 27: 27-31
Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

my heart. Amen.
10. Holy Spirit come. Mary take
me to the Heart of your Son,
Jesus there to dwell in the love
of the Two Hearts.

The Carrying of the Cross
1. Luke 23:26-31
As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'
2. Simon of Cyrene
helped Jesus
carry the cross.
3. I can see Simon helping Jesus.
This is powerful and helps strengthen
me. We should do the Father's will
in endurance.
4. Mary is the perfect Handmaid of
the Lord. She did the Father‘s will
if carrying a pebble or a boulder –
she loved the Father‘s will.
5. Mary Queen of Peace, my heavenly
Mother, please help us to love and
carry our crosses with love.
6. Jesus looked into the face of His
Mother on the way to Calvary.
Her face was red and full of tears.
7. Think of sick people helping
others walk. Think of Simon of
Cyrene helping Jesus carry the
cross.
8. I live to love more, to live in the
Father‘s plan better, to grow in
the life of resurrection, Christian
holiness.
9. Every day is like a sculptor
molding us with greater fervor
and goal. Jesus is love.
10. We can say through Him, with
Him, and in Him – we want to
be transformed more and more
into the image and likeness of
Jesus.

The Crucifixion
1. Luke 23: 32-47
Now they were also leading out two others, criminals, to be executed with him. When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.' Then they cast lots to share out his clothing.
The people stayed there watching. As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.' The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.' Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'.
One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.' But the other spoke up and rebuked him. 'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said. 'You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did. But this man has done nothing wrong.' Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'
The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.'
2. Sing: A Song from Jesus
3. Sing: Teach Me to Love with Your Heart
4. Jesus, my Lord,
my God, my all,
I adore You and love You with
all my heart, as I become greater
one in Thee.
5. My life is a constant dying and
rising in Him.
6. I must die to the ways, not like
Jesus to grow more and more
in His image and likeness.
7. We have an interior disposition
that is rooted in Jesus, we put
on the mind of Christ, it is an
interior transformation, whereby
we grow in greater holiness in
our heart.
8. We live in love of others, concern
for others, following the calling
in our vocation, that is selflessness.
9. Think of how Christ labored for
souls, teaching the Apostles and
others, performing miracles.
Christ showed us in His life, His
constant giving of Himself to others.
Christ calls us to be witnesses
of the Good News. We are always
to be witnesses of the truth.
10. As Christians, we are to tell the
world about Christ, through our
lives. If Christ's life can be summed
up in death/resurrection, so must
the members of the Church be
summed up in death/resurrection.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
