Sorrowful Mysteries

                The Agony in the Garden

                (1) Mark 14: 32-44

They came to a plot of land called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, ‘Stay here while I pray.’ Then he took Peter and James and John with him. And he began to feel terror and anguish. And he said to them, ‘My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here, and stay awake.’ And going on a little further he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, this hour might pass him by. ‘Abba,  Father!’ he said, ‘For you everything is possible. Take this cup away from me. But let it be as you, not I, would have it.’ He came back and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you asleep? Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.’ Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And once more he came back and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy; and they could find no answer for him. He came back a third time and said to them, ‘You can sleep on now and have your rest. It is all over. The hour has come. Now the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! My betrayer is not far away.’

And at once, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up and with him a number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the traitor had arranged a signal with them saying, ‘The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him, and see he is well guarded when you lead him away.’

                (2) Jesus: I sweat blood for you and your sins —
I saw this day when all the babies
                        that are aborted, are crushed,
mutilated in their mother's womb —
I cried blood for the babies,
the world, I cried blood for
                        these red bleeding sins.

                (3) Jesus: Let go, let go to Me now — I love you
                        so much —
pray for your world, now —
pray this day for obedience to God's
                            plan —
                        pray for life —

                (4) Jesus: And I cried blood — I sweat blood —
to see man's inhumanity to man —
I am love — Oh pray hard from
this building, pray for the souls, I died
for you, what more would you want.

                (5) Jesus: I am love — I want you to love each
other — People act hatefully — They
are full of anger — they must work
in love — obedience — doing what
the authority tells you — just authority
is to be obeyed — I died on the cross —
I obeyed My Father's will to My death
                        on the cross —

                (6) Jesus: I suffered for I saw before Me — all
the anger acted out on others —
I saw their pride, the control —
the hypocrites — I knew your
angry heart — look back at
yourselves as children — was your
father a perfectionist — so you
tell yourself today - nothing is good
enough and want others to fall all
over you to heal your gaping wound —
Does your life feel you have failed
because of how you were taught
in childhood — so you punish
others for your own thoughts of
                        failure about yourself —
                        Rejoice in the Lord —
I sweat blood for your sins toward
                        your brothers
Forgive those who were cruel to you —
Do not live by rules in childhood
you learned to survive a dysfunctional
home — Be pure of heart — Be

                (7) Jesus: Do not try to punish others now,
for injustices done to you, your
                        whole life —
                        FORGIVE, admit your sins toward
others — you cannot be hateful, angry,
jealous, envious and be happy —
be kind — suffer for your sins in
little things you must endure —
do not keep being angry inside —
let yourself enjoy your work in
the moment — be reconciled — say
you are sorry — look at your
                        sins of pride

                (8) Jesus: A little girl was taught children are
to endure the anger of their father —
she was laid back and not
doing as she should for childhood
fear — now in her 50's still —
                        tensing up —
                        tight throat —
                        drop these survival tactics you
                        once knew —
                        drop the burial cloths —
                        be reconciled —
                        forgive your parents —
live as the Father desires —
Be all your heavenly Father is
asking you to be now —

                (9) Jesus: Old destructive habits need to be
                        broken —
How were you taught to be a man?
How were you taught to be a woman?
                        Now follow Me —
                        I am love —
Don't be coerced by an angry
                            parent demanding perfection
old tapes you play in your thoughts —
                            love, My child —
                            you have your heavenly Father
                            to imitate —
                            be perfect as your heavenly
                            Father is perfect —
                        Live to love —
Live to give of yourself —
                            not sit on a pity-pot —
Pray for the souls I died for —
                        Be other focused
                        Not caved in —
I sweat blood for your sins

                (10) Jesus: Now look at a battle line —
                        Men are being murdered —
I gave you the message of Fatima —
                        Mary said —

Excerpt from The Spirituality of Fatima

by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

July 13, 1917

"During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:

"You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

"The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. (12)

"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....

"But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." (13)

Jesus: Now we gave you Clearwater —

Image at Clearwater

Jesus: On your battle line are little
                        embryos being slaughtered —
                        slaughtered by men tearing off
                        their legs and arms —
I cried blood in the garden,
I sweat blood in the garden
                        for this Blood Bath —
                        You have ignored the message
of Our Lady of Clearwater —

                The Whipping at the Pillar

                (1) Jesus: I cried blood —
My body was beaten raw for
                            your sins —
                        Sins as a nation — lies —
I want these messages to be obeyed —
We appeared to tell you what to
do to have peace and brotherly
                            love in this world —

                (2) Jesus: So much suffering in this
                        world is wasted —
                        know that when you suffer
you can unite it to the
                            Masses going on around
                            the world —

                (3) Jesus: Suffering —
I called for this retreat —
From this building in Florida —
                        where Mary's image appeared
                        for 7 1/2 years —
who shows up — 2 or 3 — and you
                        act bored —
                        wake up —
                        God is speaking here —
You won't even pray with all
                            your heart to help make
                            reparation for this blood
                            bath of abortion —
                        I cried blood —
                        They beat My body raw

                (4) Jesus: I was tied at the pillar —
                        Men beat My body —
                        Men tore My flesh —
What is it being a macho man —
                        The heavenly Father wants you
to be kind and loving in heart —

                (5) Jesus: A blood bath
                        Millions of babies thrown in
                            dumpsters —
Oh My people — appease your God —
                            pray with all your heart
                            for this horrendous sin of
                            this blood bath

                (6) Jesus: Tell the people who come of
                        My message —
                        of Mary's message —
                        Consecrate your homes,
your hearts to My Sacred Heart
                        and Mary's Immaculate Heart —
                        consecrate your Churches —
                        please listen to Me —
put Our images in your homes —
for peace and unity and love —

                (7) Jesus: Spread the consecration booklet —
                        now say
"We consecrate our nation to the
Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart as
far as we are able from the building
given by God the Father —
the building of the 2 Hearts —

                (8)   We love You God
                        We love You
                        Hear our prayers —
                        We want to make reparation
                            to God —
Help the voters to choose life —
Help men to live as God wills
                        them to live in love."

                (9) Jesus: Blood bath —
I was a bloody mass at the pillar —
Your babies are torn apart in
the womb in an abortion —
                            worse than a bullet —
                            blown up —
                        an innocent embryo sent to
                        the execution chamber —

                (10) Jesus: Pray for the babies
Pray for the people who choose abortion —
                        Pray for your nation —
                        Pray for those doing abortions

                The Crowning with Thorns

                (1) Jesus: I walked to the hill of Calvary —
                        I thought I couldn't go on —

                (2) Jesus: They had crowned My Head
with a crown of thorns —
                        pounded in and
                        I was bleeding

                (3) Jesus: I made the thorns they
                        pounded into My Head
                        in such hatred —

                (4) Jesus: God made the men who
                        beat Me and crowned My
                        Head with thorns —

                (5) Jesus: I cried blood —

                (6) Jesus: Spread My Blood on your
                        country —
                        Blood Bath —
                        babies executed

                (7) Jesus: You have made money your god —
You have made yourselves your god —

                (8) Jesus: Oh babies, I love you
                        turn from your ways

                (9) Jesus: I was treated this way and
I endured it for your sins —

                (10) Jesus: Cast the devil away from
                        your nation —
                        your family —
                        yourselves and
                        beg for a special outpouring
                        of the Holy Spirit

                Carrying of the Cross

                (1) Stations of the Cross - February 22, 1995 - First Station

1. Jesus Is Condemned to Death
My dear child, with angry hearts and hatred on their faces, they poked at Me and condemned Me to death. I stood so silent, My hands tied, in perfect peace, because I knew the Father's love. I knew the Father's Will. You too will stand your trials in perfect peace, the more you realize the immense love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have for you. Pray to the Spirit to transform you more and more into My image and, through this transformation, you will be led ever closer to the Father. Oh, how I love you!

                (2) February 22, 1995 - Second Station

2. They Give Jesus the Cross
Jesus: They gave Me a heavy cross, laden with the sins of the world. They placed it on My shoulder. It was so heavy I felt as if My shoulder would break. I ask you to carry little crosses, to experience little pains. I could not remove this cross from My shoulder. The weight was unbearable. It is through My suffering and death that you receive new life. It is through your sufferings this day that you will grow in your life with Me. Oh, child, I loved you so much that I took up the cross of salvation. I love you. Please realize that I am talking to you here. To My death I loved you. Oh, how I love you!

                (3) February 22, 1995 - Third Station

3. Jesus Falls the First Time
Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could hardly walk. I held on to My cross for greatest love of you and in compliance with the Will of My Father. It became so hard to walk! The cross was so heavy! I fell. I fell and the cross fell on Me. They poked at Me, they struck Me, they demanded I get up. The pain from the instruments they used to poke Me and strike Me was so great! I somehow managed to get up.

When you fall under the weight of your cross, come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am no less present in the tabernacle and in the Eucharist than on the day I carried My cross. I wait with the same love that I had for you when I carried this cross and suffered such agony. Oh, how I love you!

                (4) February 22, 1995 - Fourth Station

4. Jesus and Mary Meet
Jesus: I saw the face of My beautiful Mother. She was weak, her face reddened and full of tears. I saw her tender heart, her love, her anguish, her pain. I saw My dear Mother Mary. My Heart was comforted by the sight of her, but torn by her suffering.

Mary: As I looked into the eyes of my beloved Son, I saw His love. His head, bleeding and wounded. His body weak. His clothes covered with blood. I looked into His eyes and I saw His love for you. I call out to you today. I appear today with a face full of anguish and tears. I appear to call you back to the love of my Son. See through my eyes, as I peer into His eyes, the love He has for you this day to give of Himself for you. Oh, He loves you so much, my little children. See through my eyes the love of my Son. Oh, how He loves you!

                (5) February 22, 1995 - Fifth Station

5.Simon of Cyrene Is Forced to Help Jesus Carry His Cross
Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could not move. My persecutors became angry and forced a man to help Me. The cross was so heavy the two of us could barely move it. How is your cross today? Does it seem so heavy you cannot go on? I am forever watching you. When you are suffering the greatest, I am very close to you. It is in immense suffering that you realize My great love for you. Pray for grace to do always the Father's Will. Pray for grace to grow in your knowledge and love of Me.

                (6) February 22, 1995 - Sixth Station

6. Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus
Jesus: My face was covered with blood. From the crowd Veronica came forward with a cloth to wipe My face. On the cloth I gave to you an imprint of My bloodied face. This, My children, remains with you this day as a sign of My immense love for you. But more than any cloth, look beyond the visible consecrated host. I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, remain with you, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Eucharist this day, waiting and longing to be with you. Oh, how I love you!

                (7) February 22, 1995 - Seventh Station

7. Jesus Falls the Second Time
Jesus: Oh, dear ones, the road became harder and harder to walk. The cross was becoming heavier, My body weaker and weaker. My shoulders and arms hurt so much! My head throbbed as I walked. The blood came from My body, from My head to My feet. I was covered with open wounds. I could not go any farther. I stumbled and fell. Again they poked at Me, only harder, and with such hatred they kicked Me. Such vileness in the hearts of men! My greatest agony was not the agonies of My body, but the agonies of My heart for the love I have for all My precious souls. I loved them so dearly. I loved those who persecuted Me. Oh, how I love you!

                (8) August 23, 1993 - On His Passion

Jesus: My dear child,
I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp. It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching — on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on.

                (9) August 23, 1993 - On His Passion - continues

Jesus: My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding. Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises — and people watched and laughed!

                (10) August 23, 1993 - On His Passion - continues

Jesus: I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s heart become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks — the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

                The Crucifixion

                (1) August 23, 1993 - On His Passion - continues

Jesus: I thought of My intense love for you — that many would go to heaven because of My suffering — and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Oh, it was unbelievable! Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours — which seemed like forever — and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

                (2) August 23, 1993 - On His Passion - continues

Jesus: For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven — not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

                (3) August 23, 1993 - On His Passion - continues

Jesus: I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My kingdom.

                (4) Stations of the Cross - February 22, 1995 - Eighth Station

8. Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem
Jesus: The women came to Me with their children, their tender hearts crying and wanting to comfort Me. I saw their love, their care. I saw the coldness of men's hearts for all time, the hatred, the anger, the sins, all the souls that, despite all of My sufferings and death, would be condemned to eternal damnation. I told the women to weep not for Me, but for themselves and their children. My greatest agonies were the agonies of My Most Sacred Heart. Oh, how I love you!

                (5) February 22, 1995 - Ninth Station

9. Jesus Falls the Third Time
Jesus: I fell hard the third time. I was so weakened I could not go on. My body collapsed under the cross from such exhaustion! My child, My child, My greatest agonies were not the wounds to the body. They were the wounds I experienced to My heart. Do you know a little more now how I love you? It is in meditating on My Passion and death that you will realize My immense love for you. When you fall, when you struggle, I give you the grace to get up. I never give you more than you can handle. Your strength will come from Me. Come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am waiting for you this day. Oh, how I love you!

                (6) February 22, 1995 - Tenth Station

10. Jesus Is Stripped of His Garments
Jesus: They took Me to the hill to crucify Me. They angrily stripped Me of My garments. They took off My clothes to whip Me. They had covered My bloody wounds with a dirty purple robe. Now, total surrender-they took off My clothes. I showed you the way to surrender, always complying with the Will of the Father. It is in living in His Will that you will have peace and joy, and life eternal some day. Oh, how I love you!

                (7) February 22, 1995 - Eleventh Station

11. They Nail Him to the Cross
R. See Mary as she holds the little Baby Jesus. See her as she washes His tender hands and feet. See her now as she watches as they pound into those same hands and feet the gigantic nails that fix Jesus to the cross.

Oh, my dear ones, my heart was torn in my chest as they nailed His hands and feet to the cross. I ask you this day to walk the Passion with me and see through my eyes the love He has for you. He truly was nailed to the cross.

They pounded the nails into My first hand, then they stretched My body and nailed My other hand. The blood poured from these wounds that went totally through My hands. My pain was so immense, but then they nailed My feet! You do not know what pain I suffered, My child. My children, My children, for each one of you I suffered this pain. Oh, how I loved you!

                (8) February 22, 1995 - Twelfth Station

12. Jesus Dies on the Cross

He hung for three agonizing hours on the cross against the darkened sky. His greatest agonies were not the agonies of His body, but those of His Heart for the great love He has for each and every soul.

I gave Myself to you, My dear ones. I gave My all. I hung with My arms spread in total surrender. My head was punctured; My hands and feet were nailed to the cross. I gave Myself to you. I give Myself to you this day in the Eucharist. I give Myself to you. I, God, give you Myself! What more do you want?

Oh, burning Heart, oh, Love divine, etc.

They pierced His Heart with a lance and what flowed forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the Church, water for Baptism and blood for the Eucharist. His life, death and resurrection live on in the Church this day.

                (9) February 22, 1995 - Thirteenth Station

13. Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross and Placed in the Arms of His Mother
R. His totally lifeless body was placed in the arms of His most loving Mother. As she had held the little baby body in her arms, she now received His bloodied, bruised body in her arms. This is how He obeyed the Father's Will. Jesus gave His life for us. The Father gave His only Son because He loves us so much. Mary, His Mother, our Mother and the Mother of the Church, is forever by His side. See Jesus in the arms of His loving Mother under the cross. This is love.

I held His lifeless body in my arms. See through my eyes the love He has for you this day. He gives Himself to you today in the Eucharist. He loves you so much!

                (10) February 22, 1995 - Fourteenth Station

14. Jesus Is Locked in the Tomb
R. His enemies rolled the stone up to the tomb and were pleased to have buried Jesus. Mary, outside the tomb, wept bitterly. The cold reality that He was dead! But death has no power over Jesus for on the third day He rose, triumphant, from the tomb! We are partakers in His divine life. Death has no power over Jesus. He is with us this day. He comes to bring us life to the full. He loves us so much!

Given November 1, 2010 - All Saints Day

                R. Terah was the father of Abraham —

                Abraham believed the Lord —
                Abraham had great faith —

The prideful laugh and tell themselves
                    they did what they accomplished

The humble man knows that blessings
                    come from God —

The man who wants what he wants does
not usually recognize the blessings God
gives him and is angry when
God doesn't do what he wants

The man of wisdom is always waiting on
God's Plan and works for God — doing
                    His Plan —

God has shown us how He brought babies
                    from women, once thought barren,
God shows us He can do all things —
Jesus came and performed miracles —
for this they wanted to put Jesus
                        to death

When things look bleak — we know
God can do all things, but we must want to
do His will, put ourselves where He
                        wants us serving Him —

We see the false gods of the Old Testament and how
when the Jews grumbled and disobeyed God
they suffered under people with pagan gods —

Today people have many gods —
                    themselves — pride — wealth, power —

Mary appeared at Clearwater December 17, 1996
                    she gave this message —

December 19, 1996

Mary: My dear children, I give to you, my Son, Jesus, born in a stable in Bethlehem on Christmas morn. He is the Almighty God, the Light of the World.

I appear to you, my children, on a (former) bank in Florida. You have made money your god! Do you know how cold are your hearts? You turn away from my Son, Jesus, for your money. Your money is your god.

I am Mary, your Mother. I do not appear as I once appeared to you. I am asking you today to circulate my message given on a tape on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 12, 1996. Please circulate this tape now. Give it to as many people as you can. I am Mary, your Mother. Please circulate my Rosary Book.

                R. God can let us suffer deeply to see if we are
                    faithful to Him —
He can let us suffer then give us a
                    big blessing —

Abram heard God tell him to go away from
                    his father's house —
God said He would show him the land —

Genesis 12: 1-3

Yahweh said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your kindred and your father’s house for a country which I shall show you; and I shall make you a great nation, I shall bless you and make your name famous; you are to be a blessing!

I shall bless those who bless you,
and shall curse those who curse you,
   and all clans on earth
   will bless themselves by you.’

                R. God created the world out of nothing —
Creation bears the handprint of God —

God called Abram to leave his father's house —

Joseph had great love and faith in His God —
                    God blessed Joseph —

Abram followed the directions of God
They traveled and it was a hard journey
Abram never let his faith waiver —
                Abram had great faith —
Abram didn't know how hard the journey
                    would be —
                He kept going
They had to find water etc.

Abram had a loving heart —
Abram was obedient to God —
Others can give bad directions opposed to what
                    they were to do —
Abram had to do what God told him —
                Abram was fearless
                He was not wishy-washy —
                    Afraid to commit —
Abram did not ride the fence —

                When God calls —
Satan can send others to tell us not to do it —
What good does it do a man to save the
world and lose his soul —

                Do God's will —
A man of faith follows God —
A man who does his own will — rationalizes
what he should do and follows
                    himself —

A man of God — follows God — thanks God —
                    loves God —
believes God will see him through —
Justice is his rear door and fore door —
                    Justice —
                    Doing God's will —
                    Man needs water —
                    Man needs air —
                    Man needs nourishment —

God is the giver of all good gifts —
We must listen and pray to Him —
Come humbly and recognize our complete
                    dependence on God

St. Peter and the Apostles, except for
                    Judas —
gave us a shining example —
                    They followed Jesus

2 Timothy 3: 14 — 4:2

You must keep to what you have been taught and know to be true; remember who your teachers were, and how, ever since you were a child, you have known the holy scriptures—from these you can learn the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is inspired by God and useful for refuting error, for guiding people’s lives and teaching them to be upright. This is how someone who is dedicated to God becomes fully equipped and ready for any good work.

Before God and before Christ Jesus who is to be judge of the living and the dead, I charge you, in the name of his appearing and of his kingdom: proclaim the message and, welcome or unwelcome, insist on it. Refute falsehood, correct error, give encouragement—but do all with patience and with care to instruct.

Exodus 17: 8-13

The Amalekites then came and attacked Israel at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua, ‘Pick some men and tomorrow morning go out and engage Amalek. I, for my part, shall take my stand on the hilltop with the staff of God in my hand.’ Joshua did as Moses had told him and went out to engage Amalek, while Moses, Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill. As long as Moses kept his arms raised, Israel had the advantage; when he let his arms fall, the advantage went to Amalek. But Moses’ arms grew heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him and on this he sat, with Aaron and Hur supporting his arms on each side. Thus his arms remained unwavering till sunset, and Joshua defeated Amalek, putting their people to the sword.

2 Timothy 4: 6-8, 17-18

As for me, my life is already being poured away as a libation, and the time has come for me to depart. I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith; all there is to come for me now is the crown of uprightness which the Lord, the upright judge, will give to me on that Day; and not only to me but to all those who have longed for his appearing.

But the Lord stood by me and gave me power, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed for all the gentiles to hear; and so I was saved from the lion's mouth. The Lord will rescue me from all evil attempts on me, and bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Sirach 35: 12-14, 16-18

for the Lord is a judge
    who is utterly impartial.
He never shows partiality to the detriment of the poor,
he listens to the plea of the injured party.
He does not ignore the orphan's supplication,
nor the widow's as she pours out her complaint.

Whoever wholeheartedly serves God will be accepted,
his petitions will carry to the clouds.
The prayer of the humble pierces the clouds:
and until it does, he is not to be consoled,
nor will he desist until the Most High takes notice of him,
acquits the upright and delivers judgement.

                R. St. Peter — never knew when he was
denying Jesus for the rest of us
the seat of the Catholic Church
would be St. Peter's in Rome

God will not be outdone in generosity and
it behooves us to thank Him
endlessly for the gifts He gives us —
Mary was the perfect handmaid of the Lord
