Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Jesus had enemies. John the Baptist is teaching
us we need to prepare – to be Apostles. Jeremiah
suffered for telling the King what God told him
to tell them. John the Baptist lost his head –
Jeremiah suffered.
Abel was innocent and Cain killed him.
When you are deliberately disobedient to God
without asking for forgiveness and trying to
change your evil – there is consequences.
John the Baptist shows us by his example he
served God – FIRST and he was beheaded.
Mary, Mother of God, is the perfect Handmaid of
Jesus – She served God as He wanted her to do –
She put God first – Mary is so pure.
Jesus suffered and died for our sins – He
is the Lamb once slain that lives forever.
See Jesus, Son of God, against the dark sky
on the cross –
Jesus is the Light of the world.
Jesus died and He was innocent –
Violence, injustice, oppression comes
from within the heart of the person
doing this to others.
We can overcome the negative and contribute
to the building of the Kingdom of God –
We have a free will –
Jesus is love –
We pray for victims of violence and terror
all over the world.

R. God is merciful we must lead a life
to please Jesus –

Merciful – we must be responsible for our
duties and attitude before God.
We are accountable to God for what we do.

R. We need to be open to God's marriage
of His love to us –

In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.
Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.
Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".
R. Mary visited Elizabeth and shared her joy –
God should be with us whenever we

Mary teaches us about obedience to
authority designated by God.
As Mother – Mary teaches us about
the 4th Commandment –
Mary chose LIFE –
Mary teaches us about the heart –
Her Immaculate Heart is sinless –
Mary is the perfect Handmaid of Jesus.
Mary wanted nothing but to serve
Jesus – to serve the Father –
to serve the Holy Spirit –
Mary's Heart is Immaculate –
She said I am the Immaculate Conception.
Glory to God in the highest
God is to receive Glory.
God has all the power –
The devil wants people to seek
power for anger and hate.
The devil wants people to disobey God
and do what they want.
We can't do what we want and
serve God –
There are boundaries and limits.
What is important is not what men think,
but what we do before God.
We are to do God's plan with love in our
heart – giving God what He wants
willingly –

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

R. God has all the power –
Nobody has power over God.
We must put God first in our life.
From the moment of conception Mary
never had sin.
Our first parents lived in paradise,
they came into the world without

They were jealous of God –

God deserves the Glory –
God must be first –
God the Father created Mary sinless –
Mary prays with us –
Mary intercedes with us to God to
help build His Kingdom.
Genesis 3: 1-7
Now, the snake was the most subtle of all the wild animals that Yahweh God had made. It asked the woman, 'Did God really say you were not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?' The woman answered the snake, 'We may eat the fruit of the trees in the garden. But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, "You must not eat it, nor touch it, under pain of death." ' Then the snake said to the woman, 'No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.' The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. So they sewed fig-leaves together to make themselves loin-cloths.

We see in Genesis how the devil
tempted Eve and how Adam and Eve
were thrown out of the Garden of Paradise
because they disobeyed God –

forbidden tree. They disobeyed
God – they wanted to be over God –

We are born into a sinful race
because Adam and Eve sinned. They

Mary, perfect Handmaid of the Lord,
always said "yes" to God.
R. Mary said "I am the Handmaid of
the Lord."
In baptism we are filled with God's
grace. We follow Mary and say "yes"
to God or we can say "no" to God
like Adam and Eve did.
Mary is our Queen, Queen of Heaven and Earth.
Mary is our model –
Holy Mary pray for us.
Mary please be Queen of our
hearts, I give you my heart.
Mary we love you –
Mary, Holy Virgin, pray for us –
Mary, Queen of our hearts,
help us, pray for us.
Queen of Peace, pray for us –
We love you so much Mary –
Thanks for being our Mother –
God is all holy – the font of
all holiness –
Jesus teach us about giving –
He gives us His Body and Blood –
God is love.
God gives Himself to us –
Jesus loves us so much –
Jesus teaches us about love and
purity, about giving and kindness –
Jesus teaches us about the Light –
Jesus shows us how He lived in
a family with Mary and Joseph –
even though He is God.
Jesus shows us how He taught the
12 Apostles to carry on –
Jesus worked with others –
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

we are His little child –
God gives us a sharing in His life in
Baptism and feeds us with the Eucharist.
Lamb of God

for something that isn't good

When we think we can do a better
job than God we put ourselves

Moses prayed with his arms up

Insanity is doing the same thing
over and over again the same way

We must operate on God's CLOCK –
God runs the CLOCK –
God's clock is slower than ours –
Some people lose patience and give
up because they have to
keep praying –
We activate an energy when we pray –
when we stop praying we stop that
energy –
Matthew 9: 20-22
Then suddenly from behind him came a woman, who had been suffering from a haemorrhage for twelve years, and she touched the fringe of his cloak, for she was thinking, 'If only I can touch his cloak I shall be saved.' Jesus turned round and saw her; and he said to her, 'Courage, my daughter, your faith has saved you.' And from that moment the woman was saved.

Jesus tells us we must pray
without getting tired.

with people that wanted to
provoke Him and waste
His time for satan –
Jesus didn't have time for
what people wanted –
He did the will of His
heavenly Father.
We are to give total commitment
to our vocation –
focus on eternal life –
be sorry for our sins –
Hell is real

"During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:
"You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.
"The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. (12)
"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....
"But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." (13)

THE CHILDREN SEE HELL
As she spoke these words, Our Lady stretched out her hands, and bright rays came forth which seemed to penetrate into the earth. All at once the ground vanished, and the children found themselves standing on the brink of a sea of fire. As they peered into this dreadful place, the terrified youngsters saw huge numbers of devils and damned souls. The devils resembled hideous black animals, each filling the air with despairing shrieks. The damned souls were in their human bodies and seemed to be brown in color, tumbling about constantly in the flames and screaming with terror. All were on fire within and without their bodies, and neither devils nor damned souls seemed able to control their movements. They were tossing about in the flames like fiery coals in a furnace. There was never an instant's peace or freedom from pain.

R. If we follow Jesus we can handle
suffering more easily –
and this will help us get to heaven.
Jesus starts His journey to Jerusalem –
It is our journey here to go to eternal life –
No one knows for sure how often Jesus went to Jerusalem.
To go to Jerusalem was a 3 day journey and
it was long and hilly –
St. John mentions 3 times Jesus
was in Jerusalem for the
Passover –
Mark and Luke tell us one time –
We have to do God's will –
Sometimes we act –
Sometimes we have to sit and wait!
Martha and Mary – perfect balance
Mary sat and waited on the Lord –
The Good Samaritan acted –
We call on the Holy Spirit to know –
when to act –
when to meditate, hold back –
Do God's will –
To not act when God is calling us
is choosing to disobey God's will.
Mary obeyed the will of God perfectly.
R. Mary is Mother of God –
this Feast comes after Christmas –
How will the New Year be –
Will we reflect on Mary's motherly
love for us.
Look at how people are in the world
today –
We need to spread these prayers Jesus
gave to Fr. Carter.
