Mary has requested that the daily message be given each day to the world. It is read nightly at the prayer service from her Image Building in Clearwater, Florida, U.S.A. This is according to her request. All attempts will be made to publish this daily message to the world at 11 p.m. Eastern time, U.S.A.

We acknowledge that the final authority regarding these messages rests with the Holy See of Rome.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Messenger: Include Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center in 6:20 prayers.

Messenger: I write here concerning the way of life of Shepherds of Christ apostles, servants, handmaids and, hopefully, future priests.

There is a large body of prayer warriors as one can see.

There are 7 levels of commitment.

Associates are described in the message of September 10, 1999.

Associates do not have to restrict their activities to the Shepherds of Christ Movement. They can be committed in various degrees. They can engage in various ministries. It is an important part of this Ministry as designated by Jesus that we have all 7 levels of commitment.

THE SEPTEMBER 10, 1999, MESSAGE FROM JESUS FOLLOWS.

Excerpt from September 10, 1999, Daily Message

Jesus speaks: I am forming a community with a rigorous prayer life in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

It is at the present time made up of apostles, lay people who have given their lives, and the servants and handmaids who have given their lives and do not intend to marry. They follow the rules I have dictated. They pray for the priests and the renewal of the Church and the world. Unlike other ministries, this one is given to My dictates specifically to help bring about the reign of My Sacred Heart, to lead men into this great reign of peace.

All must follow as I have asked according to the directions given.

There are other levels of commitment, some do not call for this deep level of spirituality.

I ask you to list the levels of commitment from the home page.

There are seven levels of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

  1. There are Associates who gather and pray at least once monthly as a group and also help with donations to support the Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter. They can be tremendously involved. They give as they feel they are able.
  2. Apostles are member who have restricted their apostolic activity to the Shepherds of Christ. They literally act as a body of lay people who have given their lives in their present living situation to do all that they can to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart.
  3. Prayer Apostles are often shut-ins, some are able to go to church and pray. They spend much of their lives praying for the Movement.
  4. Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are those who spend at least two separate hours weekly before the Blessed Sacrament praying for the following:
    1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
    2. For the Pope.
    3. For all bishops of the world.
    4. For all priests.
    5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
    6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this Movement to the world.
    7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
    8. For all members of the human family.
    9. For all souls in purgatory.

In that hour before the Eucharist they spend part of the time praying the Shepherds of Christ prayers and the rosary. The time can be spent with spouse or others, but most spend the time alone before the Eucharist.

  5. Handmaids of the Good Shepherd are young and older women who have given their lives in community primarily to pray for the Shepherds of Christ Movement and intentions and to be special spouses of Jesus. Some have more duties than others. All have the primary duty of prayer and the desire to be a special spouse of Our Lord. One of the functions of the handmaids is their involvement in praying for and helping to circulate the priestly newsletter. The handmaids are not members of a religious order.
  6. Servants of the Good Shepherd are men who live in community with a lifestyle and purpose similar to that of the handmaids. The servants are not members of a religious order.
  7. We wish to form a special congregation of priests who will realize their great oneness with Christ. They will be consecrated deeply to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and support the Shepherds of Christ Movement as holy priests.

Whatever one's level of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, all share in promoting the overall goal of the Movement. This goal is to help in the spiritual renewal of the Church and the world. All the varied ministries of the Movement are directed toward this purpose. The spirituality which the Shepherds of Christ Movement presents to its members and to those outside the Movement through its various ministries is very basic. This spirituality is explicitly Trinitarian and Christocentric. Our spirituality helps others, especially priests, to develop a very deep union with Jesus, this Jesus who leads us to the Father in the Holy Spirit with Mary at our side. Our spirituality is deeply Eucharistic. We stress very much participation in the Mass and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. We also emphasize the extremely important role of prayer in the spiritual life. Devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, especially consecration to Their Hearts, is also a most important and central element. We are very much interested in helping to bring the Fatima message to completion, a message which has consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary at its very core.

Jesus speaks: I require apostles, handmaids and servants to restrict their activities to Shepherds of Christ. I require only Shepherds of Christ material be circulated at My Shepherds of Christ Centers, with the Documents of the Church, Catechisms, Lectionaries, and Bibles.

I want this Movement to be rooted firmly in the truth. There is error in some of the materials circulating today. This is My Movement to pray for priests and help renew the Church and the world. I ask you to help Me to bring about the reign of My Heart.

I love you, Jesus.

This note should appear at the end of the message September 9, 1999.
Also this note should begin September 10, 1999.

A City Set on the Hill will Shine to the Rest of the World.

I love you, Jesus.

Jesus speaks: My Mother has appeared in Florida to teach the world to pray. I have set up My Movement and My community with a rigorous prayer life, praying for the Church and the world.

Others have decided how they would set up their communities, but I have dictated exactly the form for prayer all through the day I wish you to follow.

Apostles’, Handmaids’ and Servants’ Prayer Schedule

All attend daily Mass and try to remain twenty minutes after Communion.

All spend, on a daily basis, at least one hour before the Blessed Sacrament.

All are encouraged to write a letter to Jesus daily telling Him their feelings. On difficult days this can be done more than once. All are then encouraged, after writing for ten minutes, to read a Blue Book message for ten minutes, and then spend time with Me in silent communication in the heart.

All that are able are encouraged to do 6:20 prayers especially p.m., a.m. if possible, but at least once a day. This includes some preliminary prayers and songs given by Me which will follow on a sheet called the jiffy sheet with calendar and feasts. It includes the Holy Spirit Novena given by Me, the Shepherds of Christ prayers and the rosary. All prayers are offered for the Shepherds of Christ intentions, the priests, the Church and the world. Presently, many are praying for Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center.

All pray at least one rosary daily, many pray three or more.

All try to pray the Infant of Prague Novena hourly, praying for special needs and the intentions of the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

All are encouraged to include prayers to the Child Jesus of Good Health in all their prayers.

I encourage you to listen to a tape of the priestly newsletter or read the priestly newsletter at least five minutes every day.

I encourage you to listen to a live rosary tape 5 minutes every day, especially in times of distress.

Many spend more time in prayer, attending Mass more often if possible and meditating on the daily Scripture readings at Mass.

The life of consecration is lived every day.

Every morning begins with the Morning Offering.

Every moment is seen as connected to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, at every moment offering one’s life to help in the act of redemption, wishing at every moment to help save souls, praying for their own personal holiness, and praying for the priests and the renewal of the Church and the world.

Some pray daily the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00.

This is the basic prayer structure of an apostle’s, servant’s and handmaid’s daily prayer life as I have formulated for them.

(End of Excerpt from September 10, 1999, Daily Message)

The Shepherds of Christ Movement -- a way of life for apostles, servants and handmaids.

We give our lives in consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

We begin every day with the Morning Offering and/or hourly prayers.

We pray every hour for the intentions of the Movement, spreading the Blood of Jesus on the Movement, the Church and the world.

Many recite the 6:20 a.m. prayers, some before the tabernacle.

All prayers are prayed from a heart consecrated to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

All prayers are prayed to the Father, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the name of Jesus, in the Holy Spirit through the powerful intercession of the Virgin Mary with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory.

We pray as intercessors for the priests, Church and the world.

All attend daily Mass and pray one hour before the Blessed Sacrament.

All through the day we pray for the needs of the Movement, the priests, the Church and the world.

At 6:20, in the evening, we join for the Holy Spirit Novena and the Shepherds of Christ Prayers and the rosary. We gather at all three sites, Florida; Morrow, Ohio; and before the Blessed Sacrament at China, Indiana. We pray also in our homes or wherever we may be. We pray as a body in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary pleading for oneness in the world. We pray for healings and that the world is spread with the Blood of Jesus. We pray for a special coming of the Holy Spirit upon the priests, and the Church, and all other souls. We see ourselves as a body praying united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and pleading to the Father through Christ in the Spirit through the intercession of Mary for the renewal of the Church and the world.

All pray the daily rosary, many pray several rosaries, and we live His life, death and Resurrection as we unite to these mysteries in the rosary.

In the reign of the Sacred Heart, Jesus will be the King and Center of all hearts. We pray for this. We pray for the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Heart.

In the reign of the Sacred Heart, men will live according to God's will.

We promote living according to God's will. The Blue Book messages help us to know this in our hearts.

We all try to live God's will every moment of our day.

Mary did the will of the Father, she is the New Eve.

Jesus is God and Man. He lived the will of His Father.

In dwelling in Their Hearts, we most perfectly conform to the will of the Father.

The people in the Movement come willingly. If they choose this way of life as an apostle, a handmaid and a servant, they follow this prayer schedule.

All live by the Blue Book messages.

If one wishes to see how we live, he can read the Blue Books , I, II, III.

Our lives are centered in consecration.

The material used in our lives are the Bible, the Catechism, writings of the Popes and documents of the Church, all of Father Carter's writings and Rita Ring's writings.

There is to be maintained a certain way of life in Shepherds of Christ.

There is to be maintained a purity in the Movement. All materials are theologically discerned. Some also have the Imprimatur.

In the reign of the Sacred Heart all will willingly do God's will in their hearts. For the Movement to progress more and more toward this, we must focus on this desire to do God's will. We want all to come from a place of willingness.

We do not collect any monies from handmaids and servants. They receive their lodging and the necessary money needed to sustain their lives in the Movement. They are free to leave at any time.

They are here in this community because they want to be.

We have a way of life. The purpose is for the advancement of one's spiritual life and to help further the spiritual advancement of priests, the Church and the world.

In the reign of the Sacred Heart all will be united doing God's will. These promptings of knowing God's will come from within. We live to serve Him as apostles, servants and handmaids, as SHEPHERDS OF CHRIST.

We gather on the 5ths and 13ths of the month for special prayer, praying as a body together.

We gather on the 17th of the month for a monthly social called by Jesus.
