Messenger: If communities are to be formed where people interact most intimately, they must live in the Father’s will. In order to have intimate interaction amongst people, there must be that willingness to give, to want that purity of intention of living every moment according to the Father’s will. The question is, are you the king of your heart or is the Sacred Heart of Jesus the King of your heart? Do you wish to sit on His throne or are you coming in His name?

Many people today are willful, they wish their will be done. They see things from their perspective. In a community, all must work to serve God. Do you answer as Mary when she said,

Luke 1:38

Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

Messenger: …or do you answer as Eve when she listened to the devil that prompted her?

Genesis 3:4-6

Then the snake said to the woman, ‘No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.’

Messenger: …and she ate.

The devil tempts us to do our own will.

We have a group, the Handmaids of the Good Shepherd. They are to live as Jesus wants them to live. They are to be special spouses of the Lamb, obeying God’s will, living to serve Him.

Today the emphasis is on doing what we want. Jesus wants us to live as He showed us how to live. He gave His life to His death on the cross doing the Father’s will.

See Jesus in the garden, see Him sweat Blood, see His anguish and pain.

Matthew 26:39

And going on a little further he fell on his face and prayed. ‘My Father,’ he said, ‘if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.’

Messenger: We also have a group, Servants of the Good Shepherd. The people in the Shepherds of Christ Movement live to serve the Good Shepherd. We live to come in His name to spread the consecration to Jesus’ Heart and Mary’s Heart to the world.
