New Homily Book - Cycle C
Available $10.00 plus postage

                March 18, 2016

                R. We learn how to be under by
being obedient to just authority over us.
The priest at Mass said he went on
retreat with the Bishop before he
was ordained. The Bishop said you
are to be in obedience to learn to
not do your will, but God's will.
The homily was so very good – he said
the Bishop said "God must be your Master"
who is your Master. You are called to be
under God, to have God as your Master,
a person must learn to surrender to give
their will over to God's will – we must
learn to be under – people in religious
life are under the vow of obedience,
they are subject to the authority of
a superior to teach them to learn
about obedience – to learn about
order – God has order – God is over,
man is under. Eve in the Garden
wanted to be equal to God. Who is
our Master? I cannot write here as
the young priest spoke at Mass.
Without obedience to God man can
                never obtain happiness.

                    Without obedience to a superior
in a community – one designated in
authority – there is not order and
there is utter pandemonium. A person
                underneath challenging authority or
                holding out showing little regard
before others for the authority is
threatening the unity and order of
the community for their own end.

This is an injustice to God and to
all when a man under authority tries
to force his independence before other
men trying to live as they should
                under obedience in a community.
A man under is always to obey the
higher authority and not one forcing
or challenging the high authority causing
problems in the productiveness of the
                whole operation.

In the military we see the orders
of command. The higher order has
the greatest authority. Think of the
                utter pandemonium going into battle
if men in the platoon were
                disobedient to those commanding the
                attack.

We see the gift of God in giving
to us this Movement and the prayers,
the apparitions, the China Church –

A man who is grateful returns
his gratitude with his heart – that
is if God gives to us in abundance
we do not give to Him little or no
gratitude – We return to Him in
abundance in gratitude – We show
God how grateful we are for
His gift to us and not ignore in
justice, the gratitude that is due
to the generosity of God to us –

How is that? God blesses abundantly
and we show Him we don't need to
even recognize that we are to be
abundantly grateful – instead we can
hold out and act like a tough guy
that need not recognize His gifts given
to us – How foolish is this to look
God's gifts to us in this way – like
He ought to give to us – is that
                justice. God is all just.

How can we repay to God –
for what He has done for us. We are
creatures – God is the Creator.

                      ♦       ♦       ♦       ♦

The devil is real. The devil does not
want man to go to heaven. Man is
loved so much by God and God wants
man with Him eternally in heaven.
God wants man to walk in the truth –
to admit his sins and wrong doings.
God wants man to seek perfection
found in God. Man should know
how much God truly loves him.
God is merciful to the contrite sinner.
God has given us the Mass and
God has given us the priest and confession.

If a man had cancer and knew
it – he would be a fool to hold
on to cancer when a person could
                offer him a cure.

God loves us so much, we
have a wounded human nature –
God wants us to grow in the
                image and likeness of God.

Look at the love of Jesus, who
came to teach us and show us
and who died for us – so we
                could have new life.
