Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary .sacra mentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

                April 18, 2018

                R. God is eternal light –

Oh God help the people of this
world to have hearts of love –
to be open to You – to do Your
                holy will.

God is love – to be united to
God we must be loving. God
is light – in Him there is no
darkness. God is life – we
can only have life – real life –
                in Him.

God created us in His image
and likeness. In the Our Father
                it says
"Thy will be done on earth as it
                is in heaven."

Our lives are a journey to bend
                our stubborn heart and will
and to obey the will of God.
We must learn to discipline our
unruly will and to live according
                to God's will.

Our lives are to be lived according
                to the heavenly Father's will.

How many people can be on
the edge of death with devils
trying to press on them and
                given into themselves their whole
                lives to never discipline their
wills and obey God's will. Will
they then think they will have
a will to follow God's will at
                the edge of death.

We know that we are to live
by the will of God if we say the
Our Father "...Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven"

                    God commands us to love
                one another –

1 John 1: 8-10

If we say, ‘We have no sin,’
we are deceiving ourselves,
and truth has no place in us;
if we acknowledge our sins,
he is trustworthy and upright,
so that he will forgive our sins
and will cleanse us from all evil.
If we say, ‘We have never sinned,’
we make him a liar,
and his word has no place in us.

                R. We have to surrender our wills
and our lives to God's plan if
we want to be as our heavenly
                Father created us to be.

"...Thy will be done on earth as
                it is in heaven"

We have a life-time to walk
this journey to learn to love –
God sends people in our lives
to teach us His ways and many
                because of independence say
"I need no one". They can live their
                whole lives not trusting anyone,
                but themselves. They can see
                everything according to their
                distorted vision which can
                become more distorted and
                twisted in on themselves.

                    Satan can work in such
                emptiness and independence.
God gives us a sharing in His life
in baptism. The Father, Son and Holy
Spirit dwell in the graced, baptized soul.
Life is in Him. A person is
                commanded to love God, others
and themselves as God wants of them.

                    Loving others means there
must be trust in love in our
hearts for at least a significant
other in our lives and then
in a wider circle of friends
                some trust and interaction
in loving and trusting. The more
we learn trust by opening our
                heart with a significant other,
or others, the more we learn
trust with God, and the more
we really trust God and bend
our unruly will to live according
to God's plan, the more our
                trust grows with others.

Don't Ever Close Your Heart

Jesus: Put yourself in My presence and come to Me not all bowed down but as you were awaiting a King. You would rise to the occasion with such an eager heart! I am God and I am truly present to you. Come with your heart full of excitement and yearning. Come to Me and know God truly waits to be with you. Empty your mind of fear and doubts and let Me do My work in you. I am the Good Shepherd. I know Mine and they follow Me. Follow Me for nothing else matters.

What you write here is not up to you. I will fill you and you will know all I say comes from Me, the one, true, magnificent God. To you be honor, My little ones, because I have created you little less than an angel. Your mother is Mary. Your Father is God. Open your hearts to My words that I might work in your heart. Your heart is My instrument to reach your brothers. I act in your heart when I love your brothers through you. Don't ever close your heart, even for a little while. Put doubt and fear aside. Trust totally in My Sacred Heart. I am He Who is with you always, always by your side, catching you when you fall, guarding you and you doubt Me. You move away and want to run to the world for your security. Run to My open arms and let Me hold you and feel My security! I have security, but not as the world could ever give it. I am security and you know it when you open up to Me. Satan will try everything to close you down, get you to doubt. You must ask for my strength. Ask Me to take the blinders off your eyes so you can see all that I want to show you.

I show you My heart, ablaze in fire, warm and kindling. I show you this heart and you feel the heat as of an open furnace. The heart is My love. Be of the heart, My children. It is there that you learn to know Me. Let your heart be as an open door to Me. It is always open and ready to whatever I send your way.

I come into your heart and I fill you with all My gifts. You were made whole. Your chest was on fire with the love of Christ and you doubted no more because such a union was unmistakable and true.

The heart of Jesus radiates power and light. It is ablaze for you every day in the Eucharist. He comes to you as a bridegroom awaiting His bride and He gives you His love. Be ready for the occasion. Anticipate the event with great eagerness. Let yourself be open and vulnerable as a new bride. Take all He gives and do not turn away. Let yourself be filled to all the gifts you receive and have His joy, which only He can give.

Oh, if you could only know a little of what I have in store for you! The trumpet sounds and all glory you shall know at the appointed hour. You will be taken into My glorious kingdom and all your pain will cease. Your mind cannot even imagine what you will experience. Trust in Me, My babies. My love is everlasting. It never runs cold. It only gets hotter as we grow in our love. Will you put all the things of this world aside and come to Me? Let go of yourself. Let go of any doubts. Choose Me as your Savior and let no talk that is not conducive of My trust into your mind. Know I am truth, your truth-one, true, magnificent God-Who loves you and never leaves your side. Don't ever doubt Me, even a little. You are My baby. Be a baby. Let Me rock you in My arms and you will know I am truly here with you! Your fears and doubts leave like a thief in the night and peace covers you as a warm blanket and you are filled by Me, your one, true, glorious Savior. I love you. Alleluia, Alleluia.

Trust in Me, My child. Your mind can run crazy. Open yourself up to Me and trust. Why do you not see that Satan wants to stop you and that he does not want the world to get these messages. Such messages of love and comfort! If he can work on you, you will stop. Don't be fooled by him. He is the grand deceiver. He plans to trip you up, to rob your sanity and move in with his sick ways. You, My child, are strong in Me. I need you to do My work. Laboring in your head, looking for proof, not totally trusting in Me-those come from him. Step on his head. Do not doubt. Pray for My strength. Open your heart to Me and My love-no room for a drop of doubt. I am truly here talking to you, little one. Think about My passion and death. I loved you. I love you this much still today. My heart is so on fire for love of you. You can't even begin to know how much love I have for you. Just be open to all I send you and cast your doubts away. It is your act of trusting that helps you develop trust in Me. Step-by-step you ascend the stairs and you get closer each time to trusting more in Me. It is your taking each little step that counts. Ascend My steps each day, every day. A million times a day you can trust or worry. You choose, "Do I trust or not trust?" How could you not trust after all I did to prove My love for you? Focus on My passion, on My wounds, on My love, on Me, the one, true God, Who loves you this much! You are precious to Me, My little baby. Come and let Me comfort you. Lose yourself in My arms. "And they came and they were given His peace and love deep in their souls."  end of excerpt

                R. I remember learning especially
about being obedient to my spiritual
                director Fr. Carter in the
                beginning of this Movement.
I had to trust him, obey
what he told me to do in
                the Movement – learn to
                communicate and learn
God's will for the Shepherds of Christ
                and the servants and handmaids.
                I learned about living and
                loving and life in living
                with my family.

                    God teaches us about authority
                and who ultimately we must
obey and how we must co-operate
and love and be servants of
others in this journey in order
for His plan of love to work,
                but we learn trust and
                obedience in God's plan.

                    Jesus shows us obedience
to the Father's will in the Garden,
in the Passion, to His death
                on the cross –

                    Learning to live according to
God's will is not being filled
                with me, my, myself, for
                my independence and doing
what I want when the authority
tells me what to do. We are
                here to learn obedience –
                to learn surrender to God's
                plan – to walk hand-in-hand
in love with each other –

                    A man lived as a recluse –
                he wanted no one violating
his private space – his life was
                lived for independence,
                isolation, rigidity – he had
the plan – He was in charge
                and he wanted everyone to
obey his rules and not get too
                close.

God has a plan – this man
had his own – If God's plan
                existed he would fight God
like a man with an armed
                guard keeping God and
                everybody else away while
                he guarded his locked heart
                and nobody would get
                near him.

                R. So God has a plan and a
person can look high and low
                on this earth demanding they
                get their way, their space,
                their independence. They FIGHT
                for this with their weapons
                of power, control, manipulation,
                force, division, chaos,
                confusion –

So God has a plan and
                they decide he gets in
                their way.

We are here and we are
put here by God who has
a plan for us. Our vocation
is given to us, Fr. Carter said, to
                help us attain eternal salvation.

In God's world there is a plan –
this is reality – God created us
with all the talents we need
to help build the Kingdom of God –

                    God has given us the
                commandments to live by –

The Ten Commandments

  1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
  10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

                R. God has given us His
                Word. We are to live
                according to the Word.

                    The man of independence
                keeps telling himself –
I need no one. I am the rule –
I can force my way, anything
                goes because he makes
                himself the top.

                    Adam and Eve disobeyed
God in the Garden – they did
their own will – they were
                thrown out of the Garden
                of Paradise.

                    Jesus, the New Adam,
sweat Blood in the Garden doing
the will of His heavenly Father –

Jesus paid a big price to teach
                us how to live.

                    The man who decides to
                live doing his will over
                God's will doesn't get
                the message of the Garden
                of Eden. He makes himself
a rival to God, Pope John Paul II
                says –

Shepherds of Christ Priestly Newsletter 2000 Issue 3

The Father's Will for Us - Our Source of Peace

  • Pope John Paul II instructs us: "The Church, as a reconciled and reconciling community, cannot forget that at the source of her gift and mission of reconciliation is the initiative, full of compassionate love and mercy, of that God who is love (see 1 John 4:8) and who out of love created human beings (see Wisdom 11:23-26; Genesis 1:27: Psalms 8:4-8)…He created them so that they might live in friendship with Him and in communion with one another.

"God is faithful to His eternal plan even when man, under the impulse of the evil one (see Wisdom 2:24) and carried away by his own pride, abuses the freedom given to him in order to love and generously seek what is good, and (instead) refuses to obey his Lord and Father. God is faithful even when man, instead of responding with love to God’s love, opposes Him and treats Him like a rival, deluding himself and relying on his own power, with the resulting break of relationship with the One who created him. In spite of this transgression on man’s part, God remains faithful in love.

"It is certainly true that the story of the Garden of Eden makes us think about the tragic consequences of rejecting the Father, which becomes evident in man’s inner disorder and in the breakdown of harmony between man and woman, brother and brother (see Genesis 3:12 ff; 4:1-16). Also significant is the Gospel parable of the two brothers (the parable of the ‘prodigal son’; see Luke 15:11-32) who, in different ways, distance themselves from their father and cause a rift between them. Refusal of God’s fatherly love and of His loving gifts is always at the root of humanity’s divisions.

"But we know that God…like the father in the parable (of the prodigal son), does not close His heart to any of His children. He waits for them, looks for them, goes to meet them at the place where the refusal of communion imprisons them in isolation and division. He calls them to gather about His table in the joy of the feast of forgiveness and reconciliation.

"This initiative on God’s part is made concrete and manifest in the redemptive act of Christ, which radiates through the world by means of the ministry of the Church." 13

13. Pope John Paul II, as in Celebrate 2000!, Servant Publications, pp. 140-141.

Jesus: I loved and I called you
to serve Me to reach others in
need to help them in their lives
to make decisions that are what
is the right decision in the plan
of the heavenly Father. I have sent
people to My Virgin Mary building
in need of the Blue Books and
the Prayers. I have sent people
there to receive the message of
the 5ths and the retreats I have
called for 4 days – to hear the
                music and songs so their
hearts are lifted in praising and
                loving God and knowing My
                heavenly Father's Plan for
the renewal of the Church and
the world in giving your hearts
to My Sacred Heart and Mary's
                Immaculate Heart.

I have given to you the
                exposed Eucharist in China,
                a gift of such preciousness
                because of My great love
                for you. Love obeys those
                in authority. One loves because
they live to love and please their
heavenly Father and do His will.
The Father's Plan is the best Plan.
He blesses the work of those
living to please Him. They live
                as little children loving and
                wanting to please their heavenly
                Father.

Priestly Newsletter Book II - September/October 1997

Scriptural Reflections

In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.

Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.

Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".

Mary: I lived my life loving
                my heavenly Father so much.
Oh my little children God the Father
loves you so very much and
                you offend God when you
                are disobedient to the authority
                He has put over you.

                    It is balance, child, a
person has a body they need
to care for and eat what is
                right in the proper amounts
                and nutrition. A person cannot
                ignore their over - indulgence
of food and drink and drugs,
sugars etc. – things that they
                are allergic to –

You must care for the body –
the car, God has given you on
                this journey to Him.

I am Mary your Mother –
God has given you the commandments
to love. When a person lives to
                act out anger and pride,
jealousy and envy and they disobey
the holy life they are to be living
they walk in darkness. Further a
person who is a religious is to
                be an example of holiness,
                obedience before others. A
                religious is to see themselves
                as the Spouse of Jesus.
                Jesus is the Bridegroom of
                your soul. Jesus has chosen
                these people to live this
                special spousal union with
Him – helping others to know
                Him more through their holy,
                loving lives.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Mary: My children you must open
                    your hearts to love. Ask
                    my Spouse the Holy Spirit
to mold you more and more
in the image of my Son
                    Jesus –

Jesus is the Bridegroom of your
                    soul –

                R. Come Holy Spirit be the Guest of my
                    soul –

                I love You Holy Spirit

                I love You Holy Spirit

                I love You Holy Spirit

                    Come and possess my soul.

Mary: In order to grow, my children,
you must let go of those ways
that are not like God. Holding
                onto things that take you
                into greater darkness is foolish.

                    Pride, being right, fighting God,
                fighting authority for power,
                ugliness in disobedience
to those over you who you
                must obey offends Jesus,
who paid for your sins and
                offers the sinner forgiveness
                when he repents with a
                contrite heart.

God is so good. He has
                called religious to spread
the Good News and by their
                example show others the
joy and love of God and others
                in their hearts.

If a person is to grow they
                cannot hold onto pain from
their past and act it out on
                innocent others, while they
                deny their actions and only
                grow in greater self-righteousness,
                lies and anger.

                    Anger projected on innocent
others is a sin when you do
                it deliberately because you
                are seeking power and
trying to hurt others on purpose.

God is love. God is truth. The
                man who deliberately gives hatred
                to his brothers and divides
                the house, brings down
                darkness, fights those
                trying to bring unity and
                love is serving the evil
                one and bringing deep
                darkness in his own heart
                which makes him more
                angry because he is
                distancing himself from
God who is love and truth
                and goodness.

Your life here is to prepare
                for your eternal salvation by
                living by the Father's will
in love in all of your actions.

You are on a stage, the stage
of life. What does your name
                on the Marque tell your
                heavenly Father? Are you a
man who lives to love others
                and teach them by your
                performance on the stage
                about the heavenly Father –

Or are you the enemy to God's
                plan, fighting God, bringing
                division, chaos, confusion,
lies and darkness. Is your life
on the stage a life of independence
                and darkness and anger –

The man of God is hospitable,
he opens his heart and the
doors to his theater – He
goes out in love to others
                and welcomes them as he
                unites with them. He is
                Christ to others in his
                life, in his example.

                    The selfish man gets
                darker and darker. He can
die on the vine like a
                withered branch doing
                whatever suits him in
                his disobedience to God
by not loving God as he
                should in showing love
                as God commanded to others.

                    Each person was created
                uniquely by God the Father
to live by the plan of his
                vocation and give love –
                There is only one person
like you – when you chose
                darkness, that love God
wanted you to give to Him
                and others is not there
                because you chose to be
                unloving instead –

Excerpt from Response in Christ by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

Chapter Six - The Christian and Sin

  1. The Nature of Sin

What is the nature of sin? Contemporary theology emphasizes that sin is not primarily a violation of a law, but a disruption of personal relationships. Sin is a refusal to love. Serious sin is a radical refusal to love. Venial sin is a partial refusal to love.

The most obvious personal relationship that is affected by sin is that between God and the sinner. In sinning a man fails, to a lesser or greater degree, to accept God's loving gift of Himself. He fails also to respond with his own gift of love. In serious sin man refuses intimate friendship with God. In venial sin he dulls the ardor of that friendship. Man, in so far as he sins, maintains that he does not want his life to be directed by the loving hand of his heavenly Father. He wants to be a law for himself; he wants to be the one who decides what is good for himself and what is not. Schoonenberg observes: "Especially in the prophets sin is an aversion from and an unfaithfulness to Yahweh himself; hence it is placed in the heart rather than in the wrong deed. We see that aversion, that rebelliousness, that lack of faith which precede the act of transgressing the Law already in the story of the sin in paradise, where it is presented as the wish of possessing autonomously the knowledge of good and evil, of being independently the Law unto oneself. . .”1

Mary: What is in your book of life?

What is on the pages – page by page
                    if God called you today?

Did you live to love –
to unite, as God intended, in
the building of the Kingdom –

Did you sing a song of love
                    as God commanded you to
                    do –
                    to love God
and to love others as yourself?

What is on the pages of your
                    book of life if
                    God called you today?

                IS IT LOVE?

                Is it living according to
                    God's will –

Is it obedience to the 10 Commandments?

Is it growing in the image and
                    likeness of Jesus?

Is it living as Jesus taught you
                    in the Word?

                So you stand before your
                    heavenly Father

                And He is Divinely Just,

                    DID YOU OBEY

                        HIS WILL and

                        LIVE in LOVE?

                You were created in the
                    image and likeness of God
to see God for all eternity
                    face-to-face and live
according to God's will in love
                    in heaven –

                Are you prepared for
                    why you were
                    created?

How is your car to get you
                    there?

Your body is a car to take
                    you on the journey
                    through life –

                Your soul is immortal

                Body, Mind and Soul –

                Balance –

                Obedience –

                You can't disobey God's plan
and fight God's will for you
                    life - long

                Mary: I am Mary –

                    Our Lady of Clearwater –

You are to obey God and
                    grow in purity –

It is God's will for you –

                    God is love –

Matthew 22: 36-40

‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself.  On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.’

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD.Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
