Holy Spirit Prayer

Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.

In baptism we receive such grace — our knowing and loving
capacity is elevated — so we can understand insight into
                    the Divine Mysteries

God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit come to us and live in the
                    graced baptized soul —

Through this gift of baptism we are commissioned to go out to spread
the Good News — to be witnesses of the Truth of Jesus

With the Spirit of God alive in us — we tell the world the truth
about our faith — the Word of God — the Eucharist
We are on fire about the Bread of Life —
We are called in baptism to do this
We are to live out our baptismal commitment —

But if we are not knowing the Word of God we miss
this knowledge of Jesus — Jesus is the Word —

How can we witness to Jesus if we do not know
                    Jesus —

Jesus said to me we treat Him as a dead object
                Jesus calls us to witness
Jesus gave us Fr. Joe's books
Jesus gave us the Blue Books

Jesus taught us about the Mass and gives us the
Mass Book and the writings on the internet

Jesus gave us the Prayer for Union

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

That we do not make 'ourselves' selfishly
the King and center of our lives, but
                    that we are "servants", "handmaids",
"apostles", "associates" to spread these writings
                    He gave to us —

The world is bombarded with bad materials —
false gods — things they think they
must have to be smart, liked, have affection,
                    recognition —

The more we are focused on serving ourselves,
holding back, selfishness — the further
we are from being the witness we see
as Philip in the writings today

Acts 8: 26-40

The angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, 'Set out at noon and go along the road that leads from Jerusalem down to Gaza, the desert road.' So he set off on his journey. Now an Ethiopian had been on pilgrimage to Jerusalem; he was a eunuch and an officer at the court of the kandake, or queen, of Ethiopia; he was her chief treasurer. He was now on his way home; and as he sat in his chariot he was reading the prophet Isaiah. The Spirit said to Philip, 'Go up and join that chariot.' When Philip ran up, he heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, 'Do you understand what you are reading?' He replied, 'How could I, unless I have someone to guide me?' So he urged Philip to get in and sit by his side. Now the passage of scripture he was reading was this:

Like a lamb led to the slaughter-house,
like a sheep dumb in front of its shearers,
    he never opens his mouth.
    In his humiliation
        fair judgement was denied him.
Who will ever talk about his descendants,
since his life on earth has been cut short?

The eunuch addressed Philip and said, 'Tell me, is the prophet referring to himself or someone else?' Starting, therefore, with this text of scripture Philip proceeded to explain the good news of Jesus to him.

Further along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, 'Look,is some water; is there anything to prevent my being baptised?' He ordered the chariot to stop, then Philip and the eunuch both went down into the water and he baptised him. But after they had come up out of the water again Philip was taken away by the Spirit of the Lord, and the eunuch never saw him again but went on his way rejoicing. Philip appeared in Azotus and continued his journey, proclaiming the good news in every town as far as Caesarea.

Psalm 66: 8-9, 16-17, 20

Nations, bless our God,
let the sound of his praise be heard;
he brings us to life
and keeps our feet from stumbling.

Come and listen, all who fear God,
while I tell what he has done for me.

To him I cried aloud,
high praise was on my tongue.

    Blessed be God
who has not turned away my prayer,
nor his own faithful love from me.

John 6: 44-51

‘No one can come to me
unless drawn by the Father who sent me,
and I will raise that person up
    on the last day.
It is written in the prophets:
They will all be taught by God;
everyone who has listened to the Father,
and learnt from him,
comes to me.
Not that anybody has seen the Father,
except him who has his being from God:
he has seen the Father.
In all truth I tell you,
everyone who believes has eternal life.
I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate manna in the desert
and they are dead;
but this is the bread
    which comes down from heaven,
so that a person may eat it and not die.
I am the living bread
which has come down from heaven.
Anyone who eats this bread
    will live for ever;
and the bread that I shall give
is my flesh, for the life of the world.’

We are called to study and know Jesus, to love
the Mass, the Word, the Eucharist —
to spread our Catholic faith as a witness —

                Jesus alive in our hearts

Stone hearts are dead - dead - dead
                                            self-centered

A mom is a good example of self-less love —
If a child is hungry — they need to be fed
If a child is sick — she or the dad stay
up all night — caring for them
A child has to learn obedience
A child has to learn about sharing
A child may want their way and do all they
can in anger, hitting to force their
                        behavior

Adults under obedience are not to be so
                    obnoxious they challenge authority doing
God's will — to force their behavior by
holding back needed materials, money so
they are never under anyone they think —

God gives us authority in the Church
God gives us authority in the family
God gives us authority in religious orders —
God gives us authority in dioceses, parishes —

These people under the authority are to recognize
the structure of God and obey —
Religious orders take the vows of poverty,
                        chastity and obedience
The bishop is over the priests — the priests
are to obey their bishops —

We saw the cloud over Europe with the volcanic
                    ash —

On April 11th I got this message

Excerpt from the Daily Writing Rita Ring wrote April 11, 2010

A person with stored up anger — needs to
heal this volatile energy in them —

People who hide anger and it can be passed
                    down from parents, can carry
so much anger and live with it —
                    hurting themselves and others —
                    until their life becomes unmanageable
and they have to deal with their
                    addiction like an alcoholic and
                    heal that anger

Volcanos are things that exist in the
                    world God created —

                Do you get the connection

On March 7, 1994 I got this message from Jesus
He talks about the big boom, knocking us
off our rockers and dust going up
sky high in our face —

Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

I Showed You the Way — I showed You Surrender

March 7, 1994 4:00a.m.

Jesus:  You are the city set on the hill. You will shine with the intimate love of Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am He Whose bootstraps you are unworthy to tie.

I am Jesus and I loved My little ones to My death. Do you know even a little about what it is to give your life for someone? Do you think of yourself and ponder yourself being this selfless? People cannot even take one hour to sit with Me. The world has made you all blind. You do exactly as you want. Meditate on My sorrowful Passion. Read My meditations on the rosary. This was My life, given for you, My little loved ones. I gave My life for you and you want more? You want more proof and signs, yet you cannot even pray a few moments after Communion!

I am the Master. I taught you about selflessness and surrender. Look at My position on the cross. Yet you hold back. You want your comfort. You want to make the world your end! Oh, you give a little. You give Me what you dole out, a little here, a little there, and say, "Okay, Lord, I'm good. I pray prayers. I spend my life doing holy things, but I am in control of what and how much I give you. I am in control, Lord. Aren't you satisfied?"

I am only satisfied when you surrender your all to Me! You give Me such little bits and pieces and you pat yourself on the back and look at the sick world and say, "Well, I am pretty holy." This is not the point. You judge, you decide, you do your own will! This is you, playing the game of running your life! You give here, you keep there. I want your all. I want your time spent alone with Me in front of the tabernacle. I want you to have an ardent on-fire love affair with Me. When you love, you give. You say to your lover, "Oh, anything you ask for I will give to you." If you ask for my shirt, I will give you my cloak as well because I love you this much!"

You don't know about love. You control your relationships with Me. Then what hurts My aching heart is how you talk about the love of God. There is not love in your actions. If you came and spent your life with Me, if you freely gave sacrifices for Me, this is love!

You look to the world and you judge yourself as doing so much. Look to Me, hanging on the cross, and judge yourself by My standards. I call you to an ardent love affair with Me. I call you to love—love of God, love of one another.

You do not have love for one another because you do not love God first. Love gives its all. Love does not seek itself. Love gives freely!

I died on the cross to teach you how to love. I am the Master. If you look to the world and judge yourself, you are not learning any lessons from Me. You must look to Me to learn from Me.

Look at Me on the cross, My arms outstretched, hanging from the cross. I gave My all! I gave Myself for love of you. I held not back a little. I held not back and I, God, could have stopped it all, but I gave you freely from the bottom of My heart with greatest love for you!

This, My sweet ones, is love. I showed you the way. I showed you surrender. I am Jesus Christ and I write to you. Do you listen? Oh, you, in your busy lives, do not surrender to Me even now.

What do I do to shake My beloved ones? You are all blind and dense. Look at how attached you truly are. You do not surrender. You do your will, you do your thing. I tell you over and over again to come and pray with Me for long periods. I tell you to pray after Communion. I write about praying before the tabernacle, but you do your will. You go to the world. You ask your questions there. You look for answers from each other. You do not surrender even one hour of your time.

I come and you receive Me, the Son of God, in Holy Communion! Do you stay and sit with Me or do you do what you want? I died for you, yet you cannot let go of even little things.

I am Jesus, Son of God. If you who profess to love Me cannot give of your life to Me, how do you expect others to learn from you? You teach as you are. You teach in your actions. Your actions are selfish and centered on self. I call you to denial of self and love of God.

One person fixed to the true life of Christ can move a mountain. You follow the world and try to do it yourself.

I preach coming to Me and sitting with Me. I, God, have all the answers. No one listens. What do I do to shake My faithful ones in their comfort?

I am Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. I want to dwell in you and operate with the power of God. I invite you to My altar. I sit and wait with all the answers and you, in your pride, tell Me, "I am too busy."

Busy yourself for your day is at hand and you will know My might! I will shake the earth and you will listen. Then you will listen, but where were you when I gave you forewarning? You are waiting for the big boom. I am calling you now to listen to Me here.

Play your safe game. Waste your time. I am God and I am talking to you. You do it your way. I sit with the answers. Every answer is given here. I want My beloved ones to read these letters. I grow so tired of your foolishness. I am God and you are busy. Die to yourself, child. I showed you the way. I lead. You must follow Me!

I am your God. You shall have no gods before Me! Do you pray to Me in silence? You want your answers given to you. You want My love given instantly as you demand. I am waiting for a love affair with you. The fire of love is enkindled. Love is time spent together. Lovers sit together for long hours and learn to know one another. Would you give so little of yourself to develop a love affair with Me? I sit, I wait. I am there at every moment in all the tabernacles of this world, and you are busy!

Time is so short. One moment and it is up in smoke.

All that remain are the things of God. You are here to know, love and serve Me. I am sending out an urgent plea to publish all these messages—now.

These letters will turn the cold hearts to love. Do you not think I have all the power? You tarry, you deliberate. I grow tired. I am God and no one listens. You want Me your way. You want Me to come your way.

I sweetly tell you, in My gentle love letters, that I come, Jesus, the Son of God, gently in Communion. You are numb and blind. You want Me to roll drums and blare trumpets, but I come in the quiet moments. I roll no drums, I blare no trumpets. I come and you miss My calls!

What do I do to shake you? I, in all My might, can rock you off your rockers. I try to prepare you but you are too busy. Hold on to your last piece of dust and watch it go up in your face!

I am Jesus Christ, Son of God and I write to you and who pays heed here? This should tell you of your attachment to worldly things. You want proof. You look the other way. I am God and you contain the mighty medicine for this sick world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. Do you listen? Look at Me, dying on the cross. I gave My all for you. Do you not think I would send a mighty medicine this day for you? You are so blind. You do not listen.

I, God, talk here to you this very day.

end of March 7, 1994

On March 13, 1994 He talked about a big boom

excerpt from March 13, 1994

Jesus: "You must tell them how I wait for them. I wait. I want them to come and I will give them such love! Tell them, Rita, tell them! Your discontent is from what emotions I give you and you keep them inside. I want all to know Me and My love. I am crying out to you, little one. Tell them, tell them. Do not waste any time. I am crying out for you to spread this message. I want you to tell all of My love and how I am waiting. Emotion, Emotion! I am crying out to you in your heart. I long for their love. I died for them. How do I make them know if you, to whom I speak, hold back? I want you to get the messages out child.
Ready yourself for a big boom. No one is listening. I am crying out to you. Prepare your brothers, they are in darkness....I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am on fire for love of them. I am Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. I call you to this state of urgency. Move your friends by this urgent letter. There is no more time to waste. I call you all here to deliver this message personally to you. I am Jesus. I am begging each of you to spread My message. Tell them of My ardent love. In each moment you waste, souls will be lost."

end of excerpts from March 1994

March 22, 1994 the corner fell off the old seminary in
                    Cincinnati in minutes

We can spend our whole lives fighting with those
God has called us to love and help — All the energy of
some game playing habits that take the focus off of
giving love to God and others — being other focused —
doing God's will and not be selfish

But we can try to get affection for the little child
within — the child of the past "wanting what he wants"
and the little child fighting for independence could
try to bite or throw a temper tantrum — now wants
his way as an adult so "no one tells them what to do"

The little child still lives in each one of us — we were
put here to learn to discipline this unruly child and
yet not lose the life of being alive, trusting,
loving being like the little child Jesus was in Mary's
arms and the Son Jesus was to Mary as she stood beneath
His cross and watched Him do His Father's will — She did
the Father's will — the New Adam, the New Eve obedient
                to the Father —

Some people never learn to be with people — they can
try to create an atmosphere where they never work with
others — some can try to dominate — hurt others boundaries —
and want control — manipulate to get it — and make their
affects — what they want - their god —

Jesus doesn't like game playing where we
disobey the Father's desired structure and where we
disobey His will — if we act in pride for our own
self glory — pride — not wanting to change our bad
habits — control: money — power — needed jobs

I went to a funeral and a woman was in her 80's
she had 3 priests say Mass — and the priest talked about
1/2 hour for the homily about her service, her love to
her 8 children and the Church was full of their
                descendants —

Service — not focused on herself — giving herself to
the Church and her family in love — not for
vain glory — for her selfish motives

St. Ignatius tells us to let go of inordinate attachments — with
that comes secrets, lying, not doing God's will
and blocking others from doing God's will

Romans 8: 5-9

Those who are living by their natural inclinations have their minds on the things human nature desires; those who live in the Spirit have their minds on spiritual things. And human nature has nothing to look forward to but death, while the Spirit looks forward to life and peace, because the outlook of disordered human nature is opposed to God, since it does not submit to God's Law, and indeed it cannot, and those who live by their natural inclinations can never be pleasing to God. You, however, live not by your natural inclinations, but by the Spirit, since the Spirit of God has made a home in you. Indeed, anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

We can have many false gods

like our reputation can be a false god
affections for ourselves can be a false god
control can be a false god
pride can be a false god
power can be a false god
greed can be a false god

We can affect many people's lives because we are a witness of love.

In these days after Easter
We call upon the Holy Spirit to fill us with fire to witness as we see the apostles in the Acts of the Apostles
We were commissioned in Baptism to do this

These scriptures about the bread of life teaches us of the great gift we receive in the Eucharist and the Word
These scriptures are so very beautiful and can teach us so much about the bread of life.

As we see the apostles, we see their unity, we seek this unity as members of the mystical body of Christ — we want the oneness of the Holy Spirit in us

July 31, 1994

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

and we pray in there 24 hours a day.

It needs stucco and so does
