April 9th Holy Spirit Novena Scripture selection is Day 2 Period I.

The Novena Rosary Mysteries   for April 9th are Glorious.

                    Being existent in Christ means my whole
                existence is geared toward loving. God is
                love, to exist deeply in Him is to love —
                to be permeated with His grace — out of
                all we do it is permeated by our life
                IN Him which is love — Love binds
                all we do together — love is unity —
                love leads us to perfection — Our
                goal is to be more perfected as Our
                Heavenly Father is perfect.

                    In receiving Jesus, eating His flesh
                and drinking His Blood — we should more
                and more put on Christ and have a
                deeper existence in Him — becoming more
                as St. Paul says

Galatians 2: 19-20

...I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me...

                Also St. Paul says

                We are to be loving — to live in love.
                We are to be loving in the family, loving
                as a neighbor, loving at work — if we
                separate love from our lives we are
                not being likened to Christ.

                    When Jesus was baptized in the Jordan
                the voice of the Father was heard —

                    ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on him.’ Matthew 3: 17

                At the Transfiguration the heavens were
                opened

                    ‘This is my Son, the Beloved. Listen to him.’ Mark 9: 7

                    Jesus came to this earth to show us
                His love — to give us His love — to teach
                us to be likened to Him —

                    The Father in speaking told us this
                is My Son —

                    We are to live more and more likened to
                Jesus, the Son of God —

                    Mary lived her life to please her
                heavenly Father — to do His will — she
                showed us how she loved her heavenly
                Father — as the one chosen by God to
                be the Mother of the Savior — her pure
                life is a model for us. She lived a life
                full of grace — She lived deeply the
                Divine Mystery of God's love.

                    It is her love, so pure for her children
                why God the Father sent her as a messenger —
                telling us about the love of her Immaculate
                Heart and the love of the Sacred Heart
                of Jesus —

                    God is love —

                    Hanging images of the Sacred Heart
                in our homes, making Jesus the King and
                Center of our homes and our hearts —
                is a reminder of His unfathomable
                love for us and our families, our Churches,
                our schools.

                    The Shepherds of Christ is to help bring about
                this Age of the 2 Hearts, the Age of love,
                the Era, Mary said would come at Fatima —
                Is love what permeates our actions —
                to be like Jesus we are disciples of love —
                living in greater purity serving God the
                Father in living our lives according to His will.
                This is our rudder in life — this is life to us.

                    How would it be if we wasted years of our
                lives not loving because we held on to
                negativism — fear

1 John 4: 17-21

Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.

                    God tells us about His
                love in the precious gift of the Church,
                the Mass, the death and resurrection
                of Jesus —

                    Here is a song 
 

                    The more people responded to the writings
                that we put out in the Shepherds of Christ they would
                say — "The book changed my life" —

                    Love is very much abused by others
                trying to manipulate others, who have
                hurt others in the name of love —

                    Jesus heals our wounds. Going to daily
                Mass, sitting before the tabernacle, God
                outpours to us His precious grace — His
                love and where we may have been starving
                before for love — looking in the wrong places
                trying to fill the longing for loving
                inside of us —

                    Once a person who is baptized in the
                Catholic faith realizes the gift of
                adoration — time with Jesus, truly present
                in the Eucharist, their lives are changed.
                Jesus outpours His precious grace to
                those who spend time in loving union
                with Him in communion, after
                communion and in adoration before
                the Blessed Sacrament.

                    When people are filled more and more
                with God's grace, when they are more
                one in Him they are a big contribution
                in their personal lives, at work,
                in their prayer life.

                Baptized Catholics should try
                to live ever deeper in love
                with God and others as members
                of the body of Christ.

                    Jesus is our best friend —
                    Jesus loves us so much —

                In spreading the devotion to the
                2 Hearts we can help to bring
                about this era of peace Mary
                promised at Fatima.

                    We can help to do what Jesus
                asked Fr. Carter at the end of
                the 20th Century

Fr. Carter had a dream.

Message given to Fr. Carter before July 1994:

Jesus:  "My beloved priest-companion, I have allowed you to experience in extraordinary fashion the riches contained in My Heart and My Mother's Heart. I desire that you tell all My people about these riches. I desire that My people consecrate themselves to My Sacred Heart and to Mary's Immaculate Heart. My people are living in the beginnings of the age of the Two Hearts.

    "After the time of the purification is completed, this new era of the Church and the world will become firmly established. This era will be characterized by the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. All those who consecrate themselves to My Heart and to My Mother's Heart will help to establish this glorious new age. I am Lord and Master. Please listen to My urgent request. Within Our Hearts you will experience the love and security, the peace and the joy, which you all desire. I love My people with a tremendous love, and in My love I give them this message!"

Reflection: This is the Age of the Two Hearts! The surest road to sanctity in these our times is through consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. In making this consecration, and striving with God's grace to live it as best we can each day, we are contributing to the establishment of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and to the arrival of the reign of the Sacred Heart.
