Wisdom 3: 1-6, 9

But the souls of the upright are in the hands of God,
and no torment can touch them.
To the unenlightened, they appeared to die,
their departure was regarded as disaster,
their leaving us like annihilation;
but they are at peace.
If, as it seemed to us, they suffered punishment,
their hope was rich with immortality;
slight was their correction, great will their blessings be.
God was putting them to the test
and has proved them worthy to be with him;
he has tested them like gold in a furnace,
and accepted them as a perfect burnt offering.

Those who trust in him will understand the truth,
those who are faithful will live with him in love;
for grace and mercy await his holy ones,
and he intervenes on behalf of his chosen.

                R. Dear Jesus,

As I meditate on the Mass, I know the Mass is an
offering – a love offering and I know that as a member
of the mystical body of Christ, I am to offer myself,
my life united to the Masses going on around the world –

                R. So I pray, Dear Father, in union with the Holy Sacrifice
of the Mass, I offer myself to You, my life and I know
it is to be a life of relationships – of loving you
first and above all things. I know God, you are
the Creator and I am the creature and You
                created me with a purpose.

Matthew 11: 25-30

At that time Jesus exclaimed, ‘I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children. Yes, Father, for that is what it pleased you to do. Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’

                R. I am eager to go to Mass to honor and worship You,
to help make reparation and to thank You for all
You have given me and to petition You for my
                needs.

I offer myself to You, Heavenly Father, as Your
little daughter in union with the Mass, in the Holy Spirit,
through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of
Clearwater and the angels and saints and the
                souls in purgatory.

Dear God, I am sorry for the sins of the human
race, I ask for grace to be outpoured so men
will not be willful and disobedient to You.
Dear God, I beg for this grace for the priests, the
Church and the whole world. I am praying especially
for my friends who need healing and for all of our
families, I am asking the Blood of Jesus will be
poured on all these people, consecrate their
hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and pray for a
special outpouring of the Holy Spirit and ask the devil
be sent away from all of us and into the fires of hell.

Please protect all the families of all our
members and donors and anybody that touches
them and my family and everybody in all their
work situations. Please protect us from the
evil one. Please help America to be the Land of
Our Blessed Mother - dedicated to the Sacred Heart, obeying
                God as they should.

I consecrate the World, in as far as I am able,
to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and
unite the world to the Sacred Heart of
Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The earth is so very beautiful, this time of year in
Cincinnati. It is spring and everything is green and
the life comes with beautiful flowers, that were
dormant like a surprise and I thank You God
for this beauty, for the blue skies, for the clouds,
for the beautiful little children, for life, for
all You have given us every day.

                R. God created the heavens and the earth from
                    nothing.

God created us out of love –
We were loved into existence –

From all the different people God could have
made, all the possibilities He chose
                    us!

We are so special to God's plan –
We have a purpose in God's plan –
We are unique, nobody is just like us –

Dear God, help me to see through Your eyes.

Our true home is in heaven.

Genesis 1: 1-5

In the beginning God created heaven and earth. Now the earth was a formless void, there was darkness over the deep, with a divine wind sweeping over the waters.

God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. God saw that light was good, and God divided light from darkness. God called light ‘day’, and darkness he called ‘night’. Evening came and morning came: the first day.

                R. Awesome

Genesis 1: 26-27

God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild animals and all the creatures that creep along the ground.’

God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him,
male and female he created them.

                R. In our lives we see people born on certain days –

Hitler was born on April 20, 1989 – he was fanatical
and was a dictator of the 3rd Reich –
He started the World War II by invading Poland
                    on September 1, 1939.
We can see his life and how his life led to
so many deaths in exterminating the Jews and
the millions that were killed in World War II at least
60 million for it was a World at War.

My Mother was born 16 years later on April 20, 1905.

We see how we have so many days to bring Christ to the
                    lives of others.
We can look at the life of a saint – I always thought
of my mom, as my Saint Alice – she was very
holy and after me she lost a baby – her 6th
and then developed cancer. I remember, even though
I was so little her being sick and her throwing up
and she had a bed in my dad's office and she could
go to the bathroom so sick.

I knew as a child, that when she died, and she was so
holy, she would go to heaven, so I was taught about
heaven at this early age of 5 and I knew my mom
was living and God took her early because He loved
her so much. It was a different place she went to
with Jesus and I wouldn't be able to see her, but
I could still pray to her and she loved me.

From this I was taught about heaven, so strong at the age
of 5. Which, maybe to some, may have seemed a
disaster in my little life, it was a special
blessing too – to know about heaven and it opened
such a door to me – to know how much Jesus
loved my mom and wanted her with Him.

Death is what God has planned for us. Jesus showed us
He died and He died the most pitiful death, but
He is our Savior and He has redeemed the world
by His gift of coming and living and dying and rising.

John 6: 37-40

Everyone whom the Father gives me
   will come to me;
I will certainly not reject
anyone who comes to me,
because I have come from heaven,
not to do my own will,
but to do the will of him who sent me.
Now the will of him who sent me
is that I should lose nothing
of all that he has given to me,
but that I should raise it up
   on the last day.
It is my Father's will
that whoever sees the Son
   and believes in him
should have eternal life,
and that I should raise that person up
   on the last day.

John 6:51-58

"'I am the living bread which has come down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I shall give is my flesh, for the life of the world.’ Then the Jews started arguing among themselves, ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’ Jesus replied to them: In all truth I tell you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I shall raise that person up on the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in that person. As the living Father sent me and I draw life from the Father, so whoever eats me will also draw life from me. This is the bread which has come down from heaven; it is not like the bread our ancestors ate: they are dead, but anyone who eats this bread will live for ever."

                R. We can look at a person's life and see what they did
                    like Jesus.

We can look at a person's life and see what they did
like Hitler – we can see when he was born, how
he was in World War I – how he grew to be the dictator
that effected so many people. Over 100 million
people were effected by Hitler's life.

We see that Jesus gave us the Catholic Church, we
see Pope John Paul II who was in Poland and
how he effected so many with His papacy
                    for so many years.

                    What a life –
He lived for God, He lived as Jesus, doing
the will of God the Father.
Pope John Paul II is a saint –
                    Saint Pope John Paul II

                R. We can see his life –
We can see his contribution in the lives of men.

He is known as Saint John Paul the Great!

He was pope from October 16, 1978 until His death April 2, 2005.

He was the second longest pope in modern history.

He knew the Nazi occupation in Poland, the Holocaust
and he became the priest God called him to be.
He lived by the Father's will!

Pope John Paul II was ordained the year I was born.

Fr. Carter entered the Jesuits on my birthday August 8, 1951.

Mary's image appeared in Clearwater December 17, 1996.

Pope Francis was born December 17, 1936.

Pope Francis was ordained December 13, 1969.

                I was married December, 1969.

God has a plan for us in our vocations. Our lives
can be studied after we are gone and we can see
how our lives were lived to lead others to Christ
or to take them into darkness.

Romans 14: 7-12

For none of us lives for himself and none of us dies for himself; while we are alive, we are living for the Lord, and when we die, we die for the Lord: and so, alive or dead, we belong to the Lord. It was for this purpose that Christ both died and came to life again: so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.

Why, then, does one of you make himself judge over his brother, and why does another among you despise his brother? All of us will have to stand in front of the judgement–seat of God: as scripture says: By my own life says the Lord, every knee shall bow before me, every tongue shall give glory to God. It is to God, then, that each of us will have to give an account of himself.

                R. God is going to judge us on how we lived our lives.

He said how much He loves us and He is going
to prepare a place for us in heaven.

Jesus wants us to live His life, death and resurrection
                    in our lives –

Jesus showed us He raised the dead

Luke 7: 11-17

The son of the widow of Nain restored to life

It happened that soon afterwards he went to a town called Nain, accompanied by his disciples and a great number of people. Now when he was near the gate of the town there was a dead man being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a considerable number of the townspeople was with her. When the Lord saw her he felt sorry for her and said to her, ‘Don’t cry.’ Then he went up and touched the bier and the bearers stood still, and he said, ‘Young man, I tell you: get up.’ And the dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him to his mother. Everyone was filled with awe and glorified God saying, ‘A great prophet has risen up among us; God has visited his people.’ And this view of him spread throughout Judaea and all over the countryside.

                R. We know Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead.

Luke 12: 35-40

‘See that you have your belts done up and your lamps lit. Be like people waiting for their master to return from the wedding feast, ready to open the door as soon as he comes and knocks. Blessed those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. In truth I tell you, he will do up his belt, sit them down at table and wait on them. It may be in the second watch that he comes, or in the third, but blessed are those servants if he finds them ready. You may be quite sure of this, that if the householder had known at what time the burglar would come, he would not have let anyone break through the wall of his house. You too must stand ready, because the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.’

                  R. Remember the Daily Message about the intruder –
We can let satan in and hurt ourselves and
others by our pride and anger, division,
                        envy, jealousy, slothfulness –

                From January 27, 1992

I can never live the moments
                    of this day again

                When I go to bed
                    today is gone forever

                I must choose to treasure
                    each moment because
it is the only moment I have and
                    it only lasts one moment.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our homeland is in heaven and it is from there that we are expecting a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transfigure the wretched body of ours into the mould of his glorious body, through the working of the power which he has, even to bring all things under his mastery.

Timothy 4: 6-8

As for me, my life is already being poured away as a libation, and the time has come for me to depart. I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith; all there is to come for me now is the crown of uprightness which the Lord, the upright judge, will give to me on that Day; and not only to me but to all those who have longed for his appearing.

                An Evening with Grandma

As we pulled up to Grandma's driveway, every
light was on in her house with the kitchen shade up.
Before we entered the house, we were greeted by a
detailed note on why we should not ring the door bell.
Then we knocked and waited and waited until we heard
her say, "I'm coming, I'm coming". We would shout,
"It's us, Grandma". She would peek through the noisy
Venetian blinds and slowly open the door as she backed
up with her walker. Then Grandma would say, "I am so
glad you're here." We would go in and sit on her orange
and brown flowered divan. We might watch Car 54,
Andy Griffith, The Sound of Music, Alfred Hitchcock,
Anne of Green Gables or any kind of sports. These shows
were all enjoyed with Diet Rite, pizza, coneys, Fritos,
Bugles, Ritz Crackers, peanuts, various fruits and butter
cookies from a mammoth tin. When it was time to go, she
would thank us so much for coming. As we drove down
her driveway, we could see her waving good-bye with her
kitchen curtains. Grandma, you always thanked us, but it
is us who thank you. Thank you for all the memories, life
lessons and laughter that you gave us. You were truly a
person who lived by example. We love you.
                Love Your Grandchildren

               R. On November 4, 2005 my step-mother died.
