Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Sorrowful Mysteries

Tuesday at Our Lady of the Woods
Before the Tabernacle

The Agony in the Garden

R. See the vastness of this universe. See the sky around us. See the light of day and the sun as it shines in the sky. See the darkness of the night and know that there is a power that puts this earth into this order – that lights the sky by day and it is there in the darkness of the night. Let us feel this around us, such comfort that we know that God is truly with us. Jesus truly present in this room in the tabernacle, the same as the day He walked the earth, the same as the day that He knelt in the garden and He remains with us, truly present with us because He loves us so much.

Let us quiet our hearts and feel the presence of God, truly present with us in this room. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in our graced baptized soul in a special way.

1. R. Why do we fear? Why do we fear when we see the power of the Almighty God? We see the brightness of the sun that blinds us, we know that God is with us. We know God controls our breath and our heartbeat, but we do not see. Our faith can grow weak. We see the sun come up and the sun go down and the darkness of the night. We see the snow as it covers the trees and we wonder from whence it comes. We know that the hand of God is in our lives. We can see this but our faith can be so weak. We know that, at any moment, that we could die, we do not control our breath and our heartbeat. Let us trust in God and be deeply united to Him.

Let us meditate on these mysteries of the rosary and in meditating on His Passion realize His immense love, that the Almighty God, with all His power and might came into this world and took on a human body for love of us. Jesus truly gave Himself and died on the cross that we could be saved. Let us meditate on His act of self-giving love and ask Him to help us to give ourselves in love to Him.

2. R. In His Divine knowing, God knew all things, at all time. He said to Peter that he would deny Him three times. He knew Judas would betray Him. We cannot comprehend the Divine mind. In the Garden Jesus knelt there and He knew all the sins of all men from all time in vivid detail every offense against God. He knew our deepest, bitter anger and the hatred in the hearts of men the division they gave into opposing God’s will. Jesus knew in deepest detail every sin of every man.

3. R. Jesus also saw before Him vividly all of the suffering that He would undergo to His death on the cross. All of the bloodshed, all of the offenses, the beatings, the whippings, and Jesus complied to the will of the Father and gave Himself to pay for the price of our sins.

4. R. We wish sometimes to have someone love us very deeply and we feel all alone. Jesus experienced every human emotion in the Garden and He said to the Apostles to come and to be with Him and they slept. Jesus said to them, ‘Can you not wait one hour with Me?’ They slept.

5. R. He cries out to us this day from the tabernacle and in these letters:

Jesus: Can you not wait one hour with Me? I love you so dearly, all through the day I am waiting as the ardent lover by your side, waiting for you to talk to Me. I am always with you, My beloved ones, at every moment. I am with you and I am waiting for you to talk to Me, to tell Me of your love. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God and I am calling out to you this evening to open your heart and to listen to My words spoken. I want a love affair with you, My beloved ones. I want to be so close to you. I want to be one with you, to share My life with you, to share My love with you, to share all of your thoughts, all of the desires of your heart.

I am Jesus, I am the Almighty God. I know far better than you your every thought and every desire in your heart. I created the stars in the sky and the sun and the moon, for I am the Almighty God and you run from Me when I gave Myself for you.

6. Song: A Song from Jesus

7. R. Why do we fear? Why are we afraid? Why do we lack faith? Why do we not believe that the very hairs of our head are numbered and God is truly with us? I heard Him call out, “I am alive, I am alive, I am alive.” Why do we not hear this? When we see the snow-covered trees and we see the frost on the grass and we stay so focused in our little world and do not see the vastness and the sun in the sky and the moon and the stars in the sky at night! God is truly present and in this room and He lives in our hearts and we fear and feel so alone!

8. Jesus: My dear beloved ones, I am with you in your every thought and your every heartbeat. I want you to come to Mein the quietness of your room, in the quietness of your heart, and to tell Me of your love. I am there watching and guarding you always. You are never alone. In your darkest sin I am with you and I am waiting for you to tell Me you are sorry and tell Me of your love. I do not leave you.

9. R. Jesus saw before Him in the garden all the sins of all men from all time and He knew each deed in vivid detail. Jesus’ anguish was so great that He sweat blood but as He suffered so for the sins of men, He was comforted by the sweetness of our love that we give to Him today and He calls out to us and tells us to tell Him how much we love Him.

The Almighty God wants a love affair with us.

10. Song: Spirit Song

The Scourging at the Pillar

R. See Jesus bound and tied at the pillar. You see a man with brown hair tied and beaten, covered with blood, looking so weak as the angry men whipped Him harder and harder to their own exhaustion. Jesus, bound in a human body, but He is the Almighty God. How could any man bind the Almighty God? Jesus obeyed the will of the Father. The Almighty God comes to this earth and gives Himself for love of His creatures. Jesus could have, at any moment, stopped all this treatment for Jesus is the Almighty God.

1. R. God loves us so much that He gives us our freedom. We can chose to love Him or to reject Him. It is totally up to us. Because of His great love for us, He gives us a free will. We can decide if we will do the will of God. He is calling us in a special way to join in such oneness with His Heart and He wants a love affair with us. He wants tender moments during the day when we say in the quietness of our heart, Jesus, I love You so much. Jesus wants us to open up our eyes and to see the sky, to see the light by day and the dark by night, and to know that it is His love that surrounds us at every moment. Even though we do not see God, we know that He is there.

2. R. You must pray for grace to see with the eyes of God, to not be so focused on the little details that we miss the big picture that God is truly present and we should not fear for if we stay rooted in Him, if we stay one in Him, He lives in us and we are never alone.

3. Jesus: These are the words that I speak to you, My beloved ones, but you do not hear. You do not see through God’s eyes. You remain blind. I am the Almighty God. I say to the grass grow and the sun, shine, and the grass grows and the sun shines and I say to you, give Me your love but you turn away. I am God. I am your Creator. I call you to love God first and to love one another. I say to the grass grow and it grows. I say to the sun, shine and it shines and I tell a man to love and he hates many times. How I suffered for the sins of hatred in the hearts of men. You are created to know, love and serve God and to love each other. This is My command to you.

4. R. And God looks down from the heavens above and He sees man in all his wickedness. The Father wants us to love one another. The Father wants us to live as children of God in harmony. He commands us to love. God has called us to be the lights that will shine in the darkened world. Let us open our hearts that God may fill our hearts with His light.

5. Jesus: I tell you, My beloved ones to place your lamp on a lamp stand that it will shine to all in the house. I am the Almighty God. I am filling your hearts with My burning love and My light will shine from your faces to this darkened world. You have been called and you have been chosen. I am guarding your every step. You are My soldiers of love. As I stood, whipped at the pillar, I thought of you and the love in your hearts and it comforted Me during the bitter whippings that I received. I am Jesus. I love you with the deepest, burning love.

6. R. To shine in the darkness we must go into the darkness. We cannot cover our light with a bushel basket. We must go into the darkness and let our lights shine.

Jesus: When they persecute you and hate you, I beckon you, My dear ones, to love.

7. Jesus: Come to Me and I will fill you with My love and you will go out to spread this love. You cannot be self-focused, you must focus on giving love to others. You must take the risk and know that I am truly present, that you truly are My lights that will shine in the darkness, that you will comfort those who are weary and care for those that are hurting. You are My chosen ones.

8. R. And Jesus stood at the pillar and they whipped Him with instruments that tore His flesh and made Him bleed. This is the blood that He shed that we could be saved. Jesus is the Savior of the world.

9. Jesus: I am giving to you great graces to go out into the world and to be My apostles of love. Come to Me. I love you with the deepest burning love. See Me, My sweet ones, covered with blood and wounds – this is the love I have for you.

10. Hail Mary

Song: A Song from Jesus

The Crowning with Thorns

R. See Jesus crowned with thorns. See the thorns that go deeply into His precious head and the blood in His hair. Let us go to Jesus and kiss His wounded head and tell Him we love Him!

1. R. As He suffered so for the sins of men, He was comforted by our acts of love. Let us look into the eyes of Jesus as He sat on the mock throne. Let us look into His eyes as He suffered from the men that spit on Him. Let us look into His eyes and say, Jesus, I love You!

2. R. Let us stroke His hair, covered with blood, and tell Him that we are sorry for our sins and the sins of this world and we want to comfort Him in His bitter anguish.

3. R. Let us look closely at Jesus. Let us see how He sits there is such surrender. Jesus does not fight back, He does not argue and defend Himself. Jesus sits and surrenders and He is the Almighty God. He could have stopped the men at any second. He could have stopped them dead. Jesus could have caused fire to come down from the sky and to knock them to the ground, but He came to pay the price for our sins and He came to show us that His way is love and He is telling us this day that we will win the battle against evil in this world. We do not need to take up the sword and that the might of the Almighty God is more powerful than any weapons. He is the Almighty God that created the heavens and the earth, that keeps it in motion, that lives within our hearts, and is truly present, no less present than the day that He sat in the chair and was crowned with thorns and spit upon and He is in this room because He loves us. His words to us are simple: He wants a love affair with us. He wants us to go into this world and to spread His love in our actions, in our faces and in our eyes. Who will He send if we say “no”?

4. Jesus: You do not know the seeds that you plant, My sweet ones, through your actions. I live in this world today through you. My way is love, always love. I am love. Do not quarrel, do not argue. Look at the person and love them. See the hurt in their eyes and know that I am the Almighty God and I am loving you. You must look out at the others. Look into their hearts. See their fear and give them My comfort and My love and I will live in this cold world through you.

5. R. They spit on Him and He took it all. He came to show us His way and His way is love, but when He was crucified in the darkness His light shone brightest against the darkened sky. This is how it is with our acts. We may be spit on and persecuted but the love of God lives in the hearts of those that we comfort and treat kindly. Coldness in our hearts make our hearts cold.

6. R. And His light was the brightest light and He sat, covered with thorns and blood. If we looked into His eyes we would see Jesus Christ, the light of the world. Jesus’ light is brighter than the sun, brighter than any star, beyond anylight that we have ever seen. His light is the brightest light.

Song: You Are the Voice

The Carrying of the Cross

R. The Father looks to the earth and He sees us, His children, and He wants us to love each other. Jesus wants us to live in harmony – each one of us uniquely created. Only we can love this world the way that we can love the world. God is calling us to be as He wants us to be – this unique individual. No other person can do for this world what we can do. The Almighty God created us so special and so unique.

1. R. Jesus walked with a cross on His back. He could hardly move and He fell to the ground. How is your cross this day? Is the cross just living each moment, trying to love? This is what He calls us to: Jesus calls us to live according to the Father’s will and to love. It is a cross many times. God looks to see if we are loving and doing God’s will. This can be a cross. The cross is to love when others are cruel. The cross is to be calm and to know that God is there in every action that we perform, no matter how frustrating or how difficult it may seem. That this is a heroic action in God’s eyes, that we perform all of our actions in love, that this is holiness, that this is what will make us saints – to take the every day, ordinary actions and to perform them in love! Even when we have fallen to the ground and everything seems to be upside down, to go to God in our weakness and He will be our strength – this is the cross. These are our wounds that we carry on our back.

2. R. But Jesus, do You want me to fast? Do You want me to give up this treat? Jesus, do You want me to work and work and work?

Jesus says: I want you to love and do what the Father asks of you. I call you to love God above all things and to love each other. Love, love, love.

3. R. What is the job that God wants us to accomplish?

4. R. When we are backed up against a wall, we must surrender and give it to Jesus and do everything we do with love.

5. R. Jesus carried the heavy cross and He fell to the ground three times. He could hardly get up but He got up and He moved on.

6. Jesus: Are you spit on? Are you persecuted, My beloved ones? You are My hearts, My gentle loving hearts. I was spit on and I was persecuted but My Heart was on fire, filled with love. Do not let your hearts be cold.

7. Hail Mary

8. R. Mary’s heart was invisibly pierced as she looked into the eyes of her beloved Son and she saw Him covered with blood and wounded. She looked into His eyes and she saw His love for us and she calls out to us to look at her Son to see His love and to love Him.

9. Song: I Rocked Him as a Baby

R. Mary saw Him take His first step and Mary saw Him as He struggled to move His feet under the weight of the cross. His legs, breaking from the pain - and He says –

Jesus: Look into My eyes and see My love for you. I am calling out to you to go into this world that is suffering and to give My love to your brothers. They are your brothers. You are all children of God. You are My lights that will light up the darkened world but you must say yes. I am Jesus, I love you with the deepest love.

10. Song: I Rocked Him as a Baby

R. Look at the face of Jesus covered with blood and see the love that He has for us.

The Crucifixion

Song: God’s Love

R. Have you ever been caught in the embrace of the Almighty God, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit? Do you know what it is to be wrapped in an embrace of God’s Divine love? This is what our hearts yearn for. We were created for God, for His purpose for us and nothing on the face of this earth will satisfy our starved soul but God. To be caught in this embrace, to know the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is only to want more until we are satisfied in Heaven. God lifts the veil and gives us little glimpses of Himself and we fall to the ground in awe, for God truly is mightier than any sun, the sun that blinds us. God is the Creator of the sky, of the heavens and the earth and He wants a love affair with us.

1. R. Pray to be wrapped in God’s love. Let us see with the vision of God and pray for grace that we receive this vision, that we will see the big picture of the overall world, that we will see how truly dependent we are on God for our every breath, that we will fall to our knees and thank God for the gifts that He has given to us and tell Him we love Him.

2. R. And Jesus was raised high on a cross on Calvary and they pounded into His hands gigantic nails that went all the way through His hands and His feet and He hung to His death for three agonizing hours on a cross. Grace can be released on this world. Jesus paid a precious price for our sins.

3. R. We are human creatures and through Baptism God gives us a special sharing in His life. We can be filled with His life and His light. The price He paid was His blood. God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in the graced baptized soul.

4. Jesus: I come to you, My beloved ones. I want to come to you. I want you to love Me.

5. Jesus: Tell Me how you love Me. I outpour My grace to you when you ask Me. I fill your graced baptized soul more and more with My life in you!

6. R. Jesus gave Himself. Jesus gave His body and His blood for us and Jesus gives Himself to us today in the Holy Eucharist. Let us share in this love affair with God. We will share in this love affair depending on how we give ourselves to God. God wants to be more and more united to us.

7. R. Love is interaction between persons. Jesus gives Himself. In order to experience this deep love affair with Him we must give ourselves more and more to Him.

8. Jesus: I have come to you in a special way in this rosary. I have poured out My love to you, My dear ones. I am waitingfor your love. I want to share a special love affair with you. I am Jesus Christ, the Almighty God. I am calling you and I am giving you great graces to join deeper and deeper in this love relationship with Me. But you must surrender and come to Me. Look, My dear ones at the crucifix. This is the love that I give to you.

9. Jesus: Let your hearts be quieted. Let your hearts be filled with love. Do not fear. Pray for grace that you will not sin. There is no fear when you know I am with you.

Song: Be Not Afraid

Jesus: I give to you My peace. I give to you My love and I give to you My joy. I give you Myself. I am Jesus Christ, the Almighty God and I am with you at every moment. I am with you. You are My lights that will go into the darkness and I will live in you and shine to those that are troubled and in pain. I love through your arms. I kiss your heart. I am truly present and in this room in the Blessed Sacrament. I am giving you My kiss of love. I am a person and I am waiting for you.

10. Hail Mary

Sing: A Song from Jesus

R. A word from Fr. Carter on the Mass lived out.

From the Response in Christ by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

2) The Mass lived out

As the Christian lives out the Mass, he is consequently daily laboring with Christ in furthering the work of the subjective redemption. This is so because Christ’s sacrifice was a redemptive act, and the Church’s reliving of this act in the Mass is also redemptive. In this regard we must remember that the entire universe – not merely man – has been redeemed. The nonrational and rational world alike await the furthering of the redemption. St. Paul tells us: “From the beginning till now the entire creation, as we know, has been groaning in one great act of giving birth; and not only creation, but all of us who possess the first-fruits of the Spirit, we too groan inwardly as we wait for our bodies to be set free.” (Rm 8:22-23).

How does the Christian help Christ redeem the world? (Henceforth the term “world” is to be understood as including both rational and nonrational creation.) As previously stated, the Christian helps Christ redeem the world by reliving Christ’s mysteries. The same “events” or mysteries which accomplished the objective redemption further the subjective redemption also. Since at the heart of Christ’s mysteries are His death and Resurrection, it is especially these that the Christian must relive. As the Christian dies mystically with Christ through loving conformity with the Father’s will, he rises with Christ to an ever greater share in the Resurrection, in the newness of life, in the life of grace. As the Christian in this manner relives the paschal mystery of Christ, he is accomplishing not only his own redemption, but he is also, in a mysterious yet real manner, helping Christ redeem the world.

Although Christ’s life was summed up in death/resurrection, it also included various other “events” or mysteries. Each of these in its own manner contributed to the redemption. So it is with the Christian’s life. His participation in Christ’s death-resurrection must be “broken down” into the other mysteries of Christ’s life.

The Christian must always remember that he carries away from the Mass not only the Christ of the death and the Resurrection, but also, for example, the Christ of the hidden life and the Christ of the public life. As the Christian lives out his Mass in the exercise of his Christ-life, all these various mysteries should therefore be present.

Before we give examples of how the Christian can relive these saving events of Christ’s life, it is well that we first distinguish the two different levels on which the Christian assimilates the mystery of Christ.

Christ, through His death and Resurrection, has transformed us. This transformation is a “new creation,” a new life of grace. Through our baptism we are initiated into this life and consequently we exist as new creatures. As long as we possess the life of sanctifying grace, which is our share in the mystery of Christ, we are living according to this new existence whether or not this life here and now incarnates itself in a concrete, supernatural act. In this sense the life of grace, the “new creation,” is fundamental, radical and transcendent, a share in the transcendent holiness or mystery of God Himself. . . .

Christ did not lead only a hidden life, but a public life also. All vocations within the Church are likewise called upon to reproduce this part of Christ’s life in some manner. One aspect of Christ’s public life that should be common to all Christian vocations is the selflessness, the constant concern and love for others which Christ constantly and vividly displayed. This concern for others cost Christ much in fatigue of body and mind. Nevertheless, He continuously gave Himself completely to others. . . .

St. Paul sums up the redemptive work of Christ under the mysteries of death-resurrection.38 These are the principal mysteries which the Christian must assimilate from the eucharistic liturgy and reproduce in his own life. More and more the Christian spiritual life is being considered as a process of death-resurrection. It is obvious why this is so, for if Christ’s entire life was summed up in His death-resurrection, so also is that of His members . . . .

Each Christian, according to God’s plan for him, must have a vital and dynamic desire to help Christianize the whole world. Perhaps he can do very little through direct, external apostolate. But his prayers and sacrifices – indeed, his entire life – can touch the whole world. Through an intense Christian life the individual can help Christ further the redemption of the family, the business world, the social structure and the like. The Christian is called to have this deep desire: to see the whole universe imprinted with the name of Christ. How true it is to say that the Christian’s vocation, rooted in the liturgy, calls for deep involvement in this sacred activity.41

In schematic outline we have discussed the manner in which the baptized Christian extends his Mass to his daily existence. As he so lives out his Mass, he is becoming more Christlike. He becomes a more perfect priest and victim for his next participation in the eucharistic sacrifice.42 The beautiful cycle which the Mass contains lies exposed before us. As part of this cycle the Christian is intimately involved in the process of continued redemption. The Mass is the center of the Christian life: “. . . the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all her power flows.” 43

The Resurrection

Song: A Song from Jesus

1. Jesus: Put aside all the differences in your heart and come to the deepest chamber of My Heart. It is there that you will unite in such oneness with the heavenly Father. The heavenly Father loves you with such love, as a Father that loves His children. How much more the heavenly Father loves you - you, His creation. He created each one of you so special and so unique, each one of you having a place in His plan to help in reaching the souls with the messages of God’s love. You are so special and so favored, each one, having the talents that will help many to get to heaven. I have called you by name, you are Mine and I am guiding you and teaching you that you will help many and come and dwell forever in heaven.

2. Song: I Have Called You By Name

R. The Father has a unique plan for each one of us. He has given to each one of us exactly the talent we need to do His work. If we follow the Father’s work with love we will one day be united in the deepest union with the Almighty God. We do not know what it is like to be embraced by a heavenly embrace, to have the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For all eternity there will be no wanting.

Jesus: Your hearts, My dear ones, will be filled with such fervent love - love for God, love for each other. There is no bumping of heads in My plan. Each person - each person, doing the Father’s will, will have peace and joy in their hearts.

3. R. Jesus rose on the third day victorious from the dead. He shows us how our lives are so important to His Plan. We live His life, death and resurrection in our lives. Great suffering can lead us to greater life in Him. We are drawn closer and closer to His Heart each day as He teaches us mighty lessons. His lessons are hard, His tests are hard, but if we stay rooted in Him, we will rise to new life in Him.

4. Jesus: What is the suffering that you are experiencing this day, My dear ones? You must accept all that I am allowing to happen in your life and know that there is darkness before the dawn, that the light will shine and you will be filled with My light. Accept the suffering that I give to you, for you will be filled with greater life if you stay rooted in Me.

5. R. And the rains came and the sun did not shine and their hearts knew peace because within, they were rooted in this oneness with the Almighty God.

6. R. Darkness covered the earth and the sun did not shine but they knew in their hearts the love of the Almighty God and their hearts were filled with joy.

7. R. See Jesus as He hangs on the cross. He gave His all in love for each one of us. We see Him covered with blood and His head crowned with thorns and next to this picture we see Him in the most glorious light - Jesus is victorious. Jesus rose on the third day. You too will rise to new life in Him for He is guarding us every single second. As we breath, He is there. He does not leave us alone. He does not abandon us.

8. R. And the sky opened and the light of the Almighty God came forth in such splendor that we could not comprehend the greatness of the Almighty God. Let us open our eyes to this vision, and realize that in our human minds we cannot comprehend the Divine mind, but pray fervently to the Holy Spirit to give us wider vision that we may see those things that the Father wishes us to know, to carry out His plan.

9. Jesus: You walk this world with such limited vision and I am with you at every single moment - as you breath, as your heart beats, I am with you. You must unite in every act, in every thought, to Me, that you are living in accordance to My Father’s will. Then, My dear ones, you will have peace in your lives for I love you and I will not abandon you. Be not afraid, I am with you, in all of your troubles and all of your heartaches. You may wonder and ask why - you must pray fervently in silence and know the plan of the Father.

10. Hail Mary

Song: I Have called You By Name

The Ascension of Our Lord

1. Jesus: I call to you to give yourself to Me. I call you to give your all to Me, all of your struggles, all of your problems, all of your joy. I call to you to give Me your family, to give Me every person in your life and I will guard and protect them. I am Jesus. You walk alone many times, of your own choosing, and I am so close to you. Come to My Heart and I will protect you and give you such burning love.

2. Jesus: Be not afraid because I love you. At this moment I am giving you such grace, such grace to be in the deepest union with Me, My beloved ones, open up your hearts and let Me enter with My burning love. Let go of all anger and resentment toward each other, for it is only in a heart of love that you will unite to My Heart. I am love and My Heart is filled with love.

3. Jesus: Division and anger is not from God. I am love. It is in your actions, performed by love, that I live in you and I will teach My lessons to this world that is hurting and in pain. You have been called, you have been chosen, to go forth in this world and to preach My lesson of love. You must love fervently in your heart. You must give your all as I gave My all when I died on the cross.

4. R. And He raised His arms and He ascended into heaven anda cloud took Him out of sight and the apostles were awestruck as they looked from a field below. You too would be awestruck if you saw the Almighty God go into the sky and be taken into heaven - we see with such limited vision. He has given us great graces to see with a wider vision. We must open up our hearts and surrender to His plan to love one another and to love God with our whole hearts, our whole soul, and our whole being.

5. Jesus: Satan is pressing on this earth. He is pressing on each one of you present. Satan wants to stop the work of the Father. I am calling you to proceed ahead with love for each other - love in your hearts. I have called you by name. Each and every person here is so important to the Father’s plan, each given the unique talent to accomplish His work. Open wide your hearts and let Me touch you in a special way.

6. R. The apostles were filled with fear and they locked themselves in the upper room to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Our hearts, many times, are filled with fear and Jesus is so very close in our every thought. He wants to be one in us, that we are in one mind and one heart with Jesus. Put on the mind of Christ. Let us pray for grace, that we may have this most intimate contact with Him, that we may identify at every single second with Him in all of our actions, wanting only the will of the Father.

7. R. It is in this oneness with Jesus that we will have peace and joy in our hearts. Every action must be in accordance with the Father’s will.

8. R. Every action performed in greatest love that in our hearts we reflect the love of the Almighty God, for each other.

9. Hail Mary

10. Jesus: You do not know how satan will attempt to divide you. These rosaries are so important to this world, as teaching tools to teach men about Our lives. Come to My Heart and to My Mother’s heart and dwell in Our Hearts. It is in this oneness that you will be made holy, that you will be the light that shines in this world.

Song: Come Holy Spirit

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

1. Jesus: Satan will press on you, that you will focus on many things. You cannot go into this world and carry My light when you are carrying anger and resentment for one another in your hearts. I am love. You must be My light to go forth and to shine in the darkness. You have been called and you have been chosen by Me to carry My light of love into the darkened world. You are the children of light.

2. R. And the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and they were transformed from fear to fearlessness and went out into the world to preach the Gospel message - the message of His love.

3. Jesus: Surrender to Me at this moment, My dear ones. Give Me your hearts and I will transform your hearts to a heart of love. I am with you in your darkest hour.

4. R. The apostles went into the world, from town to town, and many were converted. They were persecuted; they were jailed. They were held up in front of people and ridiculed, but within their hearts they knew the burning fire of God’s love. They joined with one another in one mind and one heart and they went forth to deliver the Gospel message. Jesus no longer walks this earth, He lives in our hearts and He asks us to go into the world and to carry the message into the darkness.

5. Jesus: You are the children of light. I am asking you to carry these rosary messages into the world. It is through the rosary that many will be converted - it is your weapon against the evil one. I am asking each one of you in the Blue Book team to carry out these rosaries, to carry them out into the world and to spread them to the children and to the adults, to all.

6. Jesus: Satan will do everything to try to stop the rosary. You must come to My Heart and dwell in My Heart. You must come to My Heart at every second - this is your refuge against the darkness. You are the children of the light. You will carry this light when you come and dwell in My Heart.

7. R. The apostles were divided, always trying to see who was first and, when the Holy Spirit descended upon them, they were filled with God’s love, joined in one mind and one heart and went into the world and many were converted. He is calling us to pray fervently to the Holy Spirit that we will be filled with the fire of God’s love - that it will be a motivating force - a force that operates within us.

8. R. And the hearts knew the peace of God’s love. The waters were ruffled on the surface but within there was this center of deepest peace as they dwelt in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Jesus: The world around you is in such turmoil and such pain. You have been called - you are so important to this plan. You do not comprehend the great gifts that you are given and how close I am to you. You must come to My Heart for the days ahead will be filled with much suffering and darkness. It is in dwelling in My Heart that you will find refuge against the darkest night. You see the night outside and how dark it is, and you see the light of day. I am the Almighty God. I am in control of the light and the darkness and am in your hearts at this moment and I am speaking to you. You must surrender and allow Me to operate within your hearts. I will fill your hearts with such love and you will be the light against the darkest night. I am the Almighty God. I am all powerful. (R. He said He was omnipotent.)

9. Jesus: I am Jesus, your Savior, I am with you at this moment - surrender and let Me lead you into the light - into the deepest chamber of My Heart.

10. Hail Mary

Song: A Song from Jesus

The Assumption of Our Blessed Mother into Heaven

1. Jesus: Division is from satan. You must release yourselves. If you are to have peace in your hearts, you must unite in love. At this moment come deeply into My Heart and join in one mind and one heart with every person in your life. Let go of all anxieties, hatred towards any one of your brothers, and come and unite in My Heart. If they are divided, they are divided. Your heart must be one with Mine and in My Heart there is not division, there is only love. My actions are those of love. I call you to come to the deepest chamber of My Heart and to feel the love of My Father.

2. R. I give myself to the heart of our heavenly Mother. It is there that I am made pure, that the Holy Spirit works within her heart to form me more and more in the image and likeness of her Son. It is in her pure heart that I can go deeper into the Heart of my beloved Savior. Mary is sinless. As we go to our heart and are carried deeply into the deepest chamber of Jesus’ Heart, we unite in such love to the Father.

Jesus: My dear ones, feel the embrace of the Father’s love. Feel complete and satisfied as you are wrapped in His embrace of love. This is your refuge against the dark night. No matter how you stumble or how you feel, you can always come to the deepest chamber of My Heart and find peace for I am waiting for you. It is there that you will unite to Me, that you will never be afraid, that you will know if the sun falls from the sky and the moon ceases to shine, if you are battered and beaten you will know that within My Heart you will have peace for I am the refuge against the dark night.

3. Jesus: It is in your struggles that you are taught the mightiest lessons. It is in the death that there is the resurrection. It is in every moment of your life, lived in this oneness in My Heart, that you will have peace in your heart and in this oneness I will shine to the world through you. Satan has attempted to divide you - I am the Almighty God. I am with you at this moment. You must surrender and proceed in love. I will never abandon you.

Song: I Have Called You By Name

4. Jesus: When you are joined in one heart in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, when you unite in your every action to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, grace is released on this world that is hurting and in pain. At this moment a soul is on the edge of death. You see as in a box with such limited vision. I am the Almighty God. See the soul, afraid and in sin, at the edge of death - it is in your holiness, it is in your uniting in one mind and one heart to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass that you can pray for that soul. I am Jesus. I am calling you to pray for the souls, to unite to the Masses going on around the world. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present. This is a Fatima message.

5. Jesus: I am yours, I live in you. A dark cloud has come around your head. You must surrender and come to My Heart and you will see the light. I am with you in your every breath, your every heartbeat.

6. R. Mary was taken into heaven. We see these glorious mysteries of the rosary. We see Jesus, the Almighty God rises from the dead victorious after He was locked in the tomb - dead for three days. Jesus comes forth alive. We see Jesus in the Ascension go into the sky. We see the Holy Spirit ascend upon the apostles and these fearful men are all of a sudden filled with fearlessness when the Holy Spirit descends on them. The apostles were persecuted and locked in prison. They withstood such torture. They went into the world and many were converted because of their love.

We see the Blessed Virgin. Mary was taken into heaven: body and soul - we are so blind, we see as in a box and God wants to give us wider vision, but we must go to Him silently, and in prayer and let Him work in our hearts. Let Him tell us of the great plan of the Father for each one of us and let Him give us information about Himself. It is only in these silent moments that we spend with Him that He can talk to us about our lives - our lives are ever noisy – we do not hear Him, many times, and He wishes to tell us about Himself and about our lives.

7. Jesus: I call you to the deepest, deepest chamber of My Heart. Look at the front of the Second Blue Book, study the picture of My Sacred Heart. You do not comprehend the white heat of My love. Feel the embrace of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Feel this love within your hearts for I am with you. I gave Myself on the cross. Do you see Me, covered with blood? Do you see My head crowned with thorns? Why do you not realize that I am with you at every second this day and I will not abandon you. I will lead you through all of your struggles and it is in those struggles that you will know greater life in Me.

8. R. Mary said in the Fatima message that Jesus wants His Heart venerated next to hers. When we go to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, when we dwell in Their Hearts, They fill us with love. They listen to our petitions and pleas. As we are one in Their Hearts, our life becomes so united.

9. R. There is such division on the earth today – men hating men. Pray to God to lift up the world and dispel the darkness. Oh God, send Your grace because there are many dark hearts. There is hatred and violence and anger in the world today. Oh God outpour Your grace upon the earth - fill men’s hearts with Your grace.

Jesus: My way is love. You must come to My Heart and I will bathe you in My love and many will see My life in your eyes.

10. Song: Immaculate Mary

Jesus: You must not hold back. I am asking you to surrender yourself and give to Me your all - all of your troubles, your thoughts - every, every part of yourself. I am Jesus. I want to unite in the deepest love with you, My chosen ones but you hold back so many things. Come to Me and I will fill you with My life. I will give you peace and joy in your hearts. In the midst of the storm you will know peace and love when you come to My Heart.

Mary is Crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth

1. R. I asked for a sign. I wanted a sign from the Almighty God. I felt Him as He breathed within me - so close in my heart, but I wanted a sign, something that was like the world but He said –

Jesus: I give you a greater gift. I give you a grace to want this intimacy with Me. You can look away and choose other things - your own glory, selfishness, pride, anger. I am the Almighty God - I am a Divine Being - you must be open to know more about Me. I am the ultimate mystery, My child.

2. R. What is His will at this moment? Is this His will for me? Let me surrender to His will for I do not know the great gift that comes from the deepest suffering.

Jesus: I am Jesus. I give to you My love in your heart and you want something else. Surrender in the Father’s will at this moment (R. He is alive in the picture and covered with light.) I give to you such a gift and you want more. Surrender always to the will of the Father. I am allowing this to occur in your life at this moment. Accept the will of the Father and grow in the love of God.

Song: A Song from Jesus

3. R. They crowned Him with a crown of thorns and the blood came down His face and into His eyes, and into His ears. Mary was crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth. We do not know why He allows certain things to happen in our lives, but we know that in the suffering that He suffered far more for us. It is in the hardest struggles that we have learned the greatest lesson of His love, that we have united in such union with Him – it is in pain and suffering that we know that we can always go to Jesus and He is there. Intensely unite more closely to the Almighty God, the source of all life and all love. What a gift to give - to suffer, for the true treasure is the treasure to unite with the Almighty God. It is only His love that feeds our starved soul. God teaches us many lessons every moment of the day and we scoff and we cry and we complain, and we do not know the great gift that we are receiving when He allows us to struggle and to learn the lessons.

4. R. The angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and asked her to be the Mother of God. She complied always to the Father’s will and she was crowned with a crown of glory – Queen of Heaven and Earth. We do not comprehend the great plan of the Father, but we know that our only peace in our heart comes from doing His will in love, from living in His will, moment by moment, second by second, to live according to the Father’s will in love with one another.

5. Jesus: Do not be anxious or afraid, I am with you at every moment until the ends of the earth. I will never leave you. You must not be afraid. I am with you at this moment in your struggle. I am the Almighty God. My power is endless. I fill you with My burning love and you will know peace and joy in your heart if you surrender and unite to Me.

6. Jesus: The storm may be so strong on the sea and the waves so high but deep within there is a calmness in the water. Your hearts may be anxious and filled with fear but if you are rooted in Me, in the center, you will know My peace for I am always with you at every moment, in every struggle. Come to My Heart and I will bathe you in My love.

7. R. It is in doing the Father’s will as He wills us to live, not too much of some things or too little – exactly as He wishes us to live, that we will have peace within our hearts. Being disciplined as God intends. Going through the narrow gate.

8. R. Mary was crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth and we too someday will be united in the deepest union, in a heavenly embrace, with the Almighty God where there will be no wanting and no pain and we will be satisfied, where we will love God with the greatest love and we will unite in such deep love with one another. We are imperfect here - we will have the fullness of life in heaven.

9. R. Our love is perfected more and more as we unite to Him. It is in dwelling in Their Hearts that we are raised to such holiness.

10. Jesus: I give you one another to care for and to love. You must come to Me and I will teach you the lessons of My love and you will carry these lessons out to this world. Mary was crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth and heaven is for lovers – I died and rose because I want you to have the fullness of life in heaven. Come to My Heart and you will know peace and joy. Live always according to the Father’s will in love. This is My plan, My dear ones.

R. Many times we thought we were doing His will when we were, in fact, doing our own will.

Jesus: I am calling you to silent prayer. Open your heart and listen – the Holy Spirit will help you to know God’s will for you. So you follow the plan of God the Father.

Excerpt from Response to God’s Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God’s fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God’s self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man’s world. God’s inner self-expression now had also become God’s outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

Jesus says: As you come to Me I reveal to you insights into the mystery of My love.

I call you to love - love of God and love of each other. You are being taught every moment of your life more about My life. You must dwell in My Heart at every moment that you will learn the lesson that I wish to teach you. You may struggle and you may suffer but I am with you and it is in that struggle that you will have greater life in Me. I am Jesus. You do not know how tenderly I love you. If you knew minutely My love for you, you would never fear, for I am with you in every one of your struggles. Satan will press on this earth. He will press on each one of you and try to divide you to stop this work here. This work is to help renew the Church and the world. This work is also for future generations. You have been given a great gift for you have been called and chosen by the Almighty God to take these messages to this world. It displeases Me many times that you do not come and thank Me for the great gift I have given to you. Come to My Heart and tell Me of your love for Me, for I long and I thirst for your love. I long to have a personal relationship with you. I want you to love Me the most, that you love God first in your life. You should come to Me and tell Me how much you love Me and treat Me with such honor and gratitude. I am the Almighty God. I want to be one with you.

R. Who are we that the Almighty God wants to be one with us? And we look to such senseless comforts when every second He is there in our hearts and He wants to share our every thought and our every heartbeat, and we look for other things to fill our cravings in our soul and He cries out, over and over again –

Jesus: Tell them, tell them of My burning love. I am crying out to each person present and I have called this rosary to deliver this message to you. I am Jesus Christ, the Almighty God. You have been called and you have been chosen. You are My messengers that I have chosen to carry this message to the world. There are many souls at this moment on the edge of death that could go to hell for ever and ever. What you do with your lives is so important. You are the apostles I have chosen. You are the messengers. This is a gift for this world and for future generations. Will you answer this call? Will you put aside all the differences and hatred in your heart and come deeply into My Heart and be filled with My burning love? What you do can help the souls of so many. I cry out. I showed you My face with bloody tears for the souls that are being lost. Do you see – see in your heart – see your brother, or your mother – see them on the edge of death and see their soul. These are your brothers. You are all children of My Father. Give your life to Me, deliver this message, live this message, be witnesses of light. I am sending you, do not say no.

Song: By Name I Have Called You

I am Jesus and I am with you – let go of any division in your heart. Come and live in My Heart. I am calling you to be in one mind and one heart as the apostles. Many will be converted because of the work you do here. I have called you because I knew you would answer the call. I love you, I love you, I love you. I am alive, I am alive, I am alive. I am alive this day and I live within you, within your heart. You must come to Me that our hearts will be one in love and you will go out to the world that is suffering.

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Audio CD - Read by Father Edward J. Carter
$ 10.00

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD.Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
