The Resurrection

1) Matthew 28: 1-10

The empty tomb. The angel's message

After the Sabbath, and towards dawn on the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to visit the sepulchre. And suddenly there was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled away the stone and sat on it. His face was like lightning, his robe white as snow. The guards were so shaken by fear of him that they were like dead men. But the angel spoke; and he said to the women, ‘There is no need for you to be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said he would. Come and see the place where he lay, then go quickly and tell his disciples, "He has risen from the dead and now he is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you will see him." Look! I have told you.’ Filled with awe and great joy the women came quickly away from the tomb and ran to tell his disciples.

And suddenly, coming to meet them, was Jesus. ‘Greetings,’ he said. And the women came up to him and, clasping his feet, they did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers that they must leave for Galilee; there they will see me.’
 

2) They provided a guard outside of
    Jesus' tomb, after He died.

3) The women reported Jesus'
    body was gone!!

4) If the guards were sleeping how could
    they report what happened!

5) The Apostles saw Jesus after the
    resurrection!

6) They were witnesses!

7) They were willing to suffer and
    be imprisoned for their
    belief.

8) Some sacrificed their lives.

9) The Holy Spirit works in us
    increasing our faith.

10) Christ is always with us.

 

The Ascension

1) Acts 1: 1-11

In my earlier work, Theophilus, I dealt with everything Jesus had done and taught from the beginning until the day he gave his instructions to the apostles he had chosen through the Holy Spirit, and was taken up to heaven. He had shown himself alive to them after his Passion by many demonstrations: for forty days he had continued to appear to them and tell them about the kingdom of God. While at table with them, he had told them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for what the Father had promised. ‘It is’, he had said, ‘what you have heard me speak about: John baptised with water but, not many days from now, you are going to be baptised with the Holy Spirit.’

Now having met together, they asked him, 'Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?' He replied, 'It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth's remotest end.'

As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. They were still staring into the sky as he went, when suddenly two men in white were standing beside them, and they said, ‘Why are you Galileans standing here looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven.’

2) Luke 24: 40-53

Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.

3) Ephesians 1: 17-23

May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him. May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, how rich is the glory of the heritage he offers among his holy people, and how extraordinarily great is the power that he has exercised for us believers; this accords with the strength of his power at work in Christ, the power which he exercised in raising him from the dead and enthroning him at his right hand, in heaven, far above every principality, ruling force, power or sovereignty, or any other name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. He has put all things under his feet, and made him, as he is above all things, the head of the Church; which is his Body, the fullness of him who is filled, all in all.

10) May 16, 1998 - Prayer to the Father

My Father,

        With my whole heart I desire to consecrate the whole world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I wish with my whole being for the salvation of souls and that man live according to Thy Holy Will. I pray my Father that we may be one in You and Your Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit that we may intercede to You for this cause.

        It is this burning desire within my soul to spread the consecration to the far ends of the earth, that the cries of Your children are cries of glory and honor and adoration, praising God as their God.

        My Father, at this moment a soul hangs on the edge of death. For all eternity they will go to a place. It is not the plot of this soul as it trods this barren land to decide on the edge of death. You created us that we would grow in our oneness with God, that we would mature more and more in our image and likeness to God.

        And so My Father, I pray with every cell in my body for this earth. In the name of Your Son Jesus I consecrate all the souls of this earth to the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Holy Spirit in union with the Holy sacrifice of the Mass with all the angels and saints and the souls in Purgatory.

        I beg You Father for mercy.
        I beg You Father for assistance.
        I beg You Father to help us to spread this consecration to the far ends of the earth.

        Please help us. We are helpless little ones coming in the heart of our Mother, bleeding from our wounds and our sins.

        Your Son, Jesus Christ, shed the last drop of His Blood for the salvation of mankind. We wish to unite in this sacrifice, sacramentally made present in the Mass all over the world at every moment. Help us to make reparation to You for the sins of men.

        Please my Father, help us. Held in the heart of Mary and the Heart of Jesus we come as the children of Eve to beg for the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the Triumph of Mary's heart. Look upon our love, Your shepherds in the Shepherds of Christ, our sacrifices and devotion to You Our Beloved Father. Come by the means of the Holy Spirit and sanctify us and make us whole, that we are one in Your Son Jesus, praying to You, Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus in the Holy Spirit united with all the angels and saints, in the heart of Mary. We beg for help for special intentions concerning the Movement. We beg for help to reach the Churches to give these prayers of Jesus to them, to reach the schools and the family. Help we cry as poor banished children of Eve. Help us Father to do this work the Good Shepherd has entrusted to us. Help us to be one in You that we act as intercessors to help this world to be turned to God as their God, loving, honoring and adoring Him as the Lord of Host is truly present on His throne.

        We are Your children Father, we implore You to answer our prayer.
        We love You, we worship You, we adore You, we thank you and we sing from the bottom of our hearts, Holy God we Praise Your Name. Alleluia

 

 

The Descent of the Holy Spirit on Apostles and Blessed Virgin Mary

1) Acts 2: 1-4

When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves. 

2) Fr. Joe says

'Today is the third most important feast in the Church year,
the feast that celebrates the completion of Jesus’ saving work
with his sending of the Holy Spirit."

3) Ezekiel 37: 1-14

The hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. He caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, behold, they were very dry. He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? I answered, Lord Yahweh, you know. Again he said to me, Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, you dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh. Thus says the Lord Yahweh to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and, behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them. Then said he to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceeding great army.

    Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off. So, prophesy. Say to them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am now going to open your graves; I shall raise you from your graves, my people, and lead you back to the soil of Israel. And you will know that I am Yahweh, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, my people, and put my spirit in you, and you revive, and I resettle you on your own soil. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken and done this–declares the Lord Yahweh." ’
 

4) Ezekiel is telling them God
    would bring them back
    from exile and raise them up.

5) Fr. Joe says
    "When Ezekiel refers to God’s Spirit in today’s first reading,
    he is referring to God’s power to bring about life. '

6) Matthew 8: 5-17

When he went into Capernaum a centurion came up and pleaded with him. 'Sir,' he said, 'my servant is lying at home paralysed and in great pain.' Jesus said to him, 'I will come myself and cure him.' The centurion replied, 'Sir, I am not worthy to have you under my roof; just give the word and my servant will be cured. For I am under authority myself and have soldiers under me; and I say to one man, "Go," and he goes; to another, "Come here," and he comes; to my servant, "Do this," and he does it.' When Jesus heard this he was astonished and said to those following him, 'In truth I tell you, in no one in Israel have I found faith as great as this. And I tell you that many will come from east and west and sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob at the feast in the kingdom of Heaven; but the children of the kingdom will be thrown out into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.' And to the centurion Jesus said, 'Go back, then; let this be done for you, as your faith demands.' And the servant was cured at that moment. And going into Peter's house Jesus found Peter's mother-in-law in bed and feverish. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve him. That evening they brought him many who were possessed by devils. He drove out the spirits with a command and cured all who were sick. This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: He himself bore our sicknesses away and carried our diseases.

7) Water brings life.
    Without water life cannot exist.
    The Holy Spirit is the Lord and Giver of life.

8) Fr. Joe says:
    "It is through the Spirit we
    share in Christ's life."

9) This is one of the basic gifts
    the Spirit gives us,
    a sharing in Christ's life.

10) Our life in Christ is to be
    an active life.

 

The Assumption

Grace

R. Our Catholic Church is One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic instituted by Christ to give grace. Sanctifying grace is a sharing in His life, life is in Him. It is freely given to us by God out of His great love for us. We have a human nature. God gives His grace.

  God gives us grace in His goodness. We have a free will to accept it or reject God's grace. God can give us special graces to help us avoid sin.

  His grace is released in the sacraments. Man is happy when he is following God's will and in a state of grace. If we are to be happy we must follow the will of the Father.

You Too Will Be Raised Up

R. As Mary held the infant Son in her arms, with such joy, she was in such joy to see Him as He appeared after His Resurrection.

As Mary held the infant Son in her arms with such joy, she saw Him as He raised His arms and ascended to the Father.

  She beheld her baby child. This is the Son of God. This is Jesus who died and rose on the 3rd day. She held His tender body now. She sees Him after He resurrected from the tomb. He came to this world to bring us new life that we might have it to the full.

Jesus: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. I come to give you new life that you may have it to the full. My Mother carried Me - she gave Me to you. I have died and I have risen and I ascend to My Father.

You, too, will be raised up some day. The gates of heaven have been opened and you are heirs of the Kingdom. It is through My Blood that you are saved. You can have the fullness of life in My Kingdom.

    You will experience this life as you live in Me. I am with you this very day. You need stay fixed in Me. I am the true bread come down from heaven. He who eats this bread will live forever.

6) Blue Book 4 - August 24, 1994

This is Reality: Jesus Died and He Has Risen

R. To see Him and touch His crucifix and know how He died, my precious, beautiful Jesus, I love Him so much! To see Him that way is so painful for me. I keep hearing Mary's song, "I loved Him as a Baby, I held Him as a Child and I stood there on that cold, dark day, the day I knew would have to come."

    Oh, Jesus, I love Your crucifix. I love You so much. I love You and it hurts to look at Your crucifix and think people do not even know what they are doing. They do not know what You did for love of them and they will lose their souls. They will be condemned to everlasting hell, holding onto this world and their sins! This is reality: You have died and You have risen. We must pray constantly for our brothers, offer our day for those who are so blind. So many will lose their souls!

    Mary appears to tell us the love They both have for us and how They suffered.

Jesus: Spread the word. Time is so short, My precious ones. I died that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

R. I constantly want a deeper union with Him. It is not ever enough. I want to know Him more and know all about Him and His life. I thirst after this knowledge of Him and I want to be joined closer and closer to Him. I crave this union and I thirst after the knowledge of God and Mary and the Saints.

    The gospel is so important! We must stand during the gospel. How do we treat the Word of God?

Jesus: I give you My word. It is most precious, My beloved one.

You do not write this. I will take care of you. I love you so much. Jesus.

Pray for Newsletter for Priests, Shepherds of Christ

R. The most pleasing sacrifice to the Father is the precious Body and Blood of Christ. When the priest, who represents Christ, offers the sacrifice to the Father, we are giving ourselves also as a sacrifice to the Father.

    Many prayers could be magnified everyday if people offered up their lives with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. When you live your daily lives according to the will of the Father and offer them up to Him, with all the Masses being said around the world — this is such a powerful prayer!

Jesus: I ask you to pray for the success of My Priestly Newsletter, Shepherds of Christ. I am the Good Shepherd, I know Mine and they follow Me. I want to draw all My precious ones so close to My Heart.

    My Heart is ablaze for the love of each and every soul. I love each child so tenderly. I want to spread this burning love to My beloved ones, through My specially anointed priests.

    When the love of My Sacred Heart shines from the hearts of all, the world will be set aglow with My love. I have spoken directly to Fr. Carter in this Newsletter, in a special way, to spread My love to My beloved anointed priests.

    Offer your days in union with the Mass being offered throughout the world for the success of the Newsletter. Pray for the priests who receive this Newsletter that their hearts will be open and they will hear the voice of God speaking to them.

    Oh, children, I love each soul -- I would die this very day for each one! Please pray for your brothers. Do not waste one valuable moment of your day. Offer each moment up as a prayer to your heavenly Father through My Body and Blood being offered in the Masses around the world. Souls will be lost forever. Many souls do not know My most precious love. Pray for the priests. One priest can touch so many of My beloved ones, or one priest can lead so many astray.

    Please pray for this endeavor. I am your precious Jesus, on fire for love of you this day!

Trust Me

To Father Carter and Rita

Jesus:  I call you to be united and working together in intimacy. This will help My work be done, as you grow in greater oneness - as you work as one mind and one heart with the same plan I give you. The devil will try to divide you, he will plant thoughts of division in your mind. Trust Me. You are both to lead one another to greater intimacy with Me through My Mother's most tender heart. Your support for one another is crucial to the deeds you must both accomplish. I am leading you both, separately, and jointly, to accomplish My task, to promote devotion to My Heart through My Mother's Heart.

     Your support and love of each other is important for this endeavor. Your love of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit will grow as you trust one another and open up to the experiences you are having, growing in your relationship with Me. Each person will help the other see the whole picture you need to do this work. Hold not back your experiences with Me. Tell one another your intimate experiences with God. You will both grow in your relationship with Me as you share your experiences with Me. You will lead so many to My Most Sacred Heart. Trust one another and do not give into any promptings of Satan to divide you. Come to My Heart and rest forever there. I am your most loving Jesus, through My Mother's tender heart you will accomplish this task and lead so many to My Heart.

     I love you so much. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. You are My apostles. I will lead you to such intense union with Me, the Father and Holy Spirit. I love you so much.

Agonies Of The Heart

R.  I realized in church that the Mary statue in the residence chapel is the same vision I had of Mary on the Feast of St. Joseph, March 19th. She was on the left side of the altar. She was holding the child, long and slender, same form, a light came down from above and surrounded her. (St. Gertrude's Church, at the Gospel, Sat. Feast of St. Joseph).

    My heart, after communion, feels as if I will break. I want union with Him so much. No tears, nothing will satisfy this intense longing to want Him ever more. I just want Him so much. I feel as if nothing can express my feelings. I know it is an intense ache for union and nothing will make it better but Him. I crave union with Him, total and complete. I want to know the Father. I want God's love so much. My heart longs for the courts of the Lord.

Such intense longing, for I love Him so much. I feel like I will die from the ache in my heart.

Let Go and Know the Love of God

Jesus: Do not let the devil talk in your head. You must know the great love I have for you. Your Father loves you with the deepest love. Let go and know His love. My child, I love you so much.

     Come to My Heart. Come and be with Me in peace. I am Jesus, the Son of God.

6) Blue Book 4 - September 9, 1994 (excerpt)

Jesus: Oh, you blind world, oh you senseless ones, I am, Who Am. God created you. Many of your hearts have turned cold and forgotten your God! I come as a thief in the night. Many souls will be lost forever. What more do you want Me to do? I give you a free will, I love you so very much, and you do not come to Me. Do not live your life in vain. You wandered down roads that led you to your own destruction.

    My Mother appears to lead you to My most Sacred Heart.

    My children, My Heart waits for you. I am forever loving you with the same burning love. Turn not your backs to Me. I am the Almighty God.  It is through Me you will be saved. If you love and serve Me, you will live in heaven forever and ever.

    Alleluia.                   

*  Vision: (I saw a door twice, saw His face twice in an interior vision.)  Mary is the door we must go through to be placed in the inner recesses of His Heart. She carried our Beloved Savior in her womb. She taught Him how to be gentle, how to have a kind Heart. Now she is our spiritual mother, she molds us and leads us to her Son.

* Jesus wants us to pray the Prayer for Union with Him. 
 

7) Blue Book 4 - September 11, 1994

Mary's Heart

R. It is through Mary's heart I know the Heart of Jesus more. She carried Him in her womb. She took Him to the temple. She fled with Him into Egypt. She lost Him for a brief time. She cared for Him all through His young life. She watched Him heal the sick and preach the love of God. She watched the gentle ways of God. She knew His joy and suffering. She knew His Heart. She walked next to Him on Calvary and peered into His eyes. She stood under His cross and watched Him die. She held His lifeless body. She cried outside of His tomb and she saw His beautiful body after the Resurrection. She saw Him ascend into heaven.

How well does the heart of Mary know and love the Heart of Jesus! She is closer to Him than is any other human person. The Father and Holy Spirit are one with Him. It is through this knowing of His most tender Heart that she wants to place us so tenderly into Jesus' Heart. She, who knows His Heart so well, she who is without sin, she who is close to Him, she who loved Jesus and knew Him so dearly, she is the way to reach the deepest part of His Heart. She is the door to Jesus. It is through her heart that I am most closely united in deepest love with my Jesus.

Mary knows the Father's love. It was He Who created her sinless and chose her to be the Mother of His Son. She knew well the love of her Spouse, the Holy Spirit. She was filled with the Holy Spirit when Jesus was conceived. She was filled with the Holy Spirit at Elizabeth's house. She was filled all through her life. She was filled on Pentecost. She knew the love of the Holy Spirit. She is the human person closest to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is through her most knowing and loving heart that we will reach the deepest intimacy with God.

Prayer: Mary, through your Immaculate Heart, place us in the deepest part of Jesus' Heart so we can more deeply love Him. It is through your heart and Jesus' Heart we want to have a deeper union with the Father.

Dear Holy Spirit, impart to us Your gifts to lead us to such love, to union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Lead us in Your ways to know God and love Him more fully. Give us all Your seven gifts: Wisdom, Knowledge, Piety, Fear of the Lord, Understanding, Fortitude, Counsel. Lead us to greater union with God. Impart to us the fire of Your love. Where we were once blind, let us see. Fill us with Your love, Oh, Holy Spirit, through Mary's Immaculate Heart, we pray. Amen.

The Visitation

1. Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth.
2. When she arrived, the child in Elizabeth's womb leapt for joy at the presence of Mary with Jesus in her womb.
3. Mary was filled with the Holy Spirit and cried out, with a loud voice, the Magnificat.
4. "And Mary said: 'My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour;" (Lk. 1:46-47)
5. "because he has looked upon the humiliation of his servant. Yes, from now onwards all generations will call me blessed," (Lk. 1:48)
6. "for the Almighty has done great things for me. Holy is his name," (Lk. 1:49)
7. Jesus is no less present in our hearts after Communion than He was in Mary's womb.
8. Should we not jump up and cry out that we truly receive the one, true God in our hearts?
9. Are we open to the Holy Spirit to fill us with the love of the one, true God and Mary in our hearts?
10. It is through her pure and tender heart that we will love God more closely.

Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus 
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.
