A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
Messenger: My dear Bridegroom, I do not want to cut You short. You mean more to me than anything. Everyday I depend more and more on Your might. I am sorry for not writing to You. I have missed my intimate sharing I receive in writing You this letter and expressing my heartfelt love. I write after a long period during which I feel I have trudged up a big hill, panting, sometimes angry, sometimes very tired and wanting relief. It feels like the walk to Calvary for me. My journey to Mass feels this way, too. Real hard sometimes. My joy is in being in the deepest union with You in my heart. There I know more about You. This is my joy. There I am totally accepted and loved, I feel secure and I know I can totally trust You and You will never reject me.
Oh Jesus, we cannot control people or events around us. I can only tell them what You say. I know a little of the difficulty you experienced teaching Your Apostles. I want to deliver Your word, but I am so imperfect myself. I experience rejection and lack of peace sometimes because the world is not like You, but it thinks it is right.
Oh Jesus, I thank You for Your gifts to me and ask You to help all your apostles and members in the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Help us to serve and love You more and more.
Jesus, I feel tired, but my greatest joy is being one with You. I love writing to You.
I love you so much, Your messenger.
July 21, 1999 - Second Message given on July 20, 1999
Messenger: There was a song I heard once, it went something like this: "The people in the bus go up and down, up and down, up and down, the people on the bus go up and down all around the town."
We could change the words to say the people of the earth go up and down all over the surface of God's earth.
When someone is rowdy on the bus it disturbs the whole bus. If there is a common plan, if all work together, there is peace.
God has put us all here with a particular purpose. One can watch children in church, and see that no parent or grandparent can control a willful child in church. The moment you correct him, a little two year old will wiggle and laugh, holler or cry or do whatever he wants to do. A mean mom in church defeats the whole purpose of the visit.
The point is not how to handle children in church, but to realize that every person has a will, and only each person can really operate his own will.
He may be pressed on, or others may try to force someone's will, but in the end, even beating another cannot control the other's will.
Eve showed us in the garden that she had control over her will. We all have this fallen human nature.
The plan from the garden of Eden has not changed. God is in charge. We must operate under Him. We must do His will and there will be peace.
The reading of the Gospel today was: ...'Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?' And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.' (Mt 12:48-50)
Christ comes and shows us how He did His Father's will even to His death.
Mary in her life showed us she did God's will.
And Mary said:
My soul proclaims
the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
from their thrones
and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
of Israel his servant,
mindful of his faithful love
--according to the promise
he made to our ancestors--
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.
Messenger: She states she is the handmaid of the Lord.
She comes to serve Him.
She comes in His name.
The devil has created traps that lead men to think they are in charge.
Look at the story of Joseph - (reference) Genesis 37:2-36.
I am a messenger, I feel like this many times. God gives a message and people try to get me to get back in line. They think I am out of line, making myself more important or higher than them by giving the message.
Mary was chosen to be God's Mother.
Joseph was chosen to be the foster father to Jesus.
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque was chosen to further the Sacred heart devotion.
St. Francis, to help renew the Church.
The Pope, to be the Pope.
I feel I am on the bus and our Lord says, "Come to Me, I want to give you a message.", and our Lady appears 500 times and people say, "Who is she?" Many have tried to get power over me to stop me. They only stop the warning and the message from God. In the end that hurts many men.
Every person has to be exactly as God wishes. The Pope does have authority and people must follow him.
There is that fallen human nature within all of us and a tendency to be on top and put others under who wish to do God's work. People are not in control. God is. I see the bus and some people rise up and demand their will. They want to control others. Some people are up sometimes on the ladder of getting ahead of others and down other times.
The devil wants us to compete with one another. The devil wants us to be like Eve, who put her will before God's will.
Christ comes. He is the Head. John the Baptist was he who came to prepare the way, the voice crying in the desert. He gave his head. We are to be like John the Baptist, we are not the head, we are the voice crying in the desert to prepare the way. We are the HANDMAIDS AND SERVANTS of the Lord. We come in His name, not in our own names.
Mary speaks: I am the handmaid of the Lord. You must live your lives to serve my Son.
Every person must live according to the will of your Father in heaven. To stone the prophets is a foolish deed. To ignore my messages and the site in Florida will only hurt you.
Every man must develop his potential according to God's will. You are not up on the ladder and your friend down. You are all the precious children of God. Some are in authority over others. To disobey God's will hurts you and the whole earth. You are not in charge. I watch you hurt one another to make yourselves higher on the ladder than others. Everyone will be happy living according to God's will. In your heart you will have joy even in suffering. I see this great struggle for power, money, acceptance, security. You must do as God wills. Some of my children live to be on TOP. They do not even care about God's will. They step over anyone who seems to be getting ahead of them. Oh, you do not understand. This is not love. I lived to serve my God, to do His will. Dwell in Our Hearts and you will live more and more in oneness according to God's will. You are trapped in a plastic world, one you have fashioned with your artificial lives. God is life. You must fashion your lives after Him.
Q: How have we merged in oneness in Jesus since we have joined the Shepherds of Christ Movement?
