                Oneness in thought
                    the way, the truth and the life —

                Oneness is IN HIM
                Oneness is IN the HEART

                Oneness in the truth

                One in God's will

                Devil opposed to God's will

                Discern spirits —
                    twice a day
                    examine

                    Thankfulness —

                God expects us to be filled with
                    thanksgiving for His gifts

                Devils wants us selfish

                God wants us humble

                The devil wants us
                    prideful —

                Condescending

                In Control

                Doing one's own will opposed
                    to God

                Saying

                    "I want to and I do it"

                    The priest at Mass talked about
                the jealous eyes that are burning

 

Ezekiel 2: 2-5

As he said these words the spirit came into me and put me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. He said, 'Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to the rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their ancestors have been in revolt against me up to the present day. Because they are stubborn and obstinate children, I am sending you to them, to say, "Lord Yahweh says this." Whether they listen or not, this tribe of rebels will know there is a prophet among them.

 

                    The thorn in the flesh that
                is the people who are working
                against you — that are the enemies
                and closest to you, supposed
                to help you in God's work.

                    Read about the thorn in the flesh
                and satan —

                    Jesus had enemies — he talked
                about His enemies. When Jesus
                healed, and raised the dead — the
                men in power with the people
                did not want to lose their power
                because of Jesus' miracles —
                so they had to kill Him so
                they would still have power
                over the people —

                    Seeking dominance for
                dominance sake — They
                wanted power over Jesus —

                When interrogated Jesus said —

                    You would have no power
                if it wasn't given to
                you from above —

                God has all the power —

                    When Saul persecuted
                the Christians — he dragged them
                out to kill them —

                    God allowed him to be
                knocked down and

                    God said
                    "Saul, Saul, why do
                    you persecute Me"

                When one is serving God and others
                are called to help and withhold
                the materials needed for Jesus'
                work — act with jealous
                eyes to cause hatred, confusion
                blocking the work God wants
                done — they become the thorn
                in the side — the enemy and God
                says "Why do you persecute Me?"

                Why do you give into satan and
                block the work Jesus wants
                done — Fr. Mike says — Jesus
                called the Pharisees — hypocrites —
                When you wear a sign of servants
                of God and in fact tell others
                you are a Christian and
                actually work against Jesus —
                that is being a hypocrite —
                besides giving a bad example —

                God is love and
                Christians are to love to
                obey the greatest commandment
                giving others an example
                of what Christ wants —
                CHRISTIAN — Loving God —
                Loving one another —
                to be full of anger — selfishness —
                discord, disharmony —
                jealousy — control for
                dominance against God's
                will — is opposed to how
                God is and wants us to be.

                If you see with jealous
                eyes, burning and then start
                acting against God in
                unloving ways —
                you are sinning —

                You have a free will to not
                    give into jealousy and pride —

                Wanting to be over others and make
                    them look weak, to make
                    yourself look higher

                We are to serve God —
                    humbly like Mary,
                    doing God's will in love
                    to promote God's Kingdom
                    on earth —

                    Wanting others to serve
                doing God's will —

                    not being jealous,
                possessive, envious, controlling —
                seeking dominance for dominance
                sake —
