  9. Matthew 27:30
And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it.

  7. John 19:33-34
When they came to Jesus, they saw he was already dead, and so instead of breaking his legs one of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water.
  8. John 19:37
and again, in another place scripture says: They will look to the one whom they have pierced.
  9. I John 4:7-11 The source of love
My dear friends, let us love one another, since love is from God and everyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. Whoever fails to love does not know God, because God is love. This is the revelation of God’s love for us, that God sent his only Son into the world that we might have life through him. Love consists in this: it is not we who loved God, but God loved us and sent his Son to expiate our sins. My dear friends, if God loved us so much, we too should love one another.
  10. I John 4:20-21
Anyone who says ‘I love God’ and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.
Sing: Crown Him With Many Crowns
Sing: To Jesus Christ Our Sovereign King
Jesus: On this Feast of Christ the King, I beg you to pray the Prayer for Union with Jesus all through the day.
