                R. The Shepherds of Christ mission is to help in the
renewal of the Church and the world. It is to
help to bring the completion of the Fatima
                message.

Almost 100 years ago Mary appeared at Fatima
and she gave the message and said if we
do not do what she said there would be World War II.
There were 66,000,000 lives lost in World War II.

When we see the suffering in this world today
and how men are disobedient to God and
there is disorder and chaos how men are
being persecuted for religion, even children
are used dishonorably – we can see why Mary
did appear on the building from December 17, 1996
                to March 1, 2004.

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Excerpt from The Spirituality of Fatima

by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

July 13, 1917

"During her appearance in July, Our Lady, in answer to Lucia's plea, promised that in October she would work a great miracle so that all might believe and know who she was. Again, the Mother of God told the children to sacrifice themselves for sinners and to say many times, especially when making a sacrifice, this prayer: "O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of poor sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." (11)

"During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:

"You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

"The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. (12)

"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....

"But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." (13)

                R. We are printing 20,000 more of Fr. Joe's book
                of homilies.

                R. We have sent almost all
of the first 20,000 of Fr. Joe's books to priests
and hierarchy. Please help us. Please pray
for us and the priests receiving the books
so they use them weekly. Pray for America –
we try to reach the active priests
in the United States. It is a lot – and we have
sent it to all Bishops already.

At Fatima Mary told them that Jesus
wanted His Heart venerated next to
                her heart.

                    Fr. Carter received this message.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

                R. We secure our houses with locks because
we want to be safe. Many years ago my uncle
would tell us how they didn't have to lock
the doors because there was no one who would
break in. They were also very friendly with
their neighbors, he said, baking a pie and
                sharing things. I wasn't there so I don't
                know how it really was.

I remember as a child we had the Sacred Heart
on our calendar and we had lots of pictures
of saints, OUR Lady and many statues
around our house. The lady who does my hair
said her grandma had a holy water font
with the Sacred Heart on it.

Has God changed – NO! God does not
                change –

                    People have changed.

                    The greatest commandment, commands
we love God first. The statues and pictures
around the house was to remind us that
God loved us so much and to keep us in
mind of Jesus. Also statues and pictures
of Mary and the saints reminded us of
the saints in heaven and Mary was our
Mother and at our side. We had many
pictures of Mary our Mother and statues
and the Immaculate Heart was a picture I remember
well. My dad also had many medals and we prayed
the Miraculous Medal Novena – I still
know a lot of it by heart and we talked
about the saints in our house. We
prayed prayers – the rosary as a family
daily at a certain time and never missed
                it.

We did not have all the TV channels and shows.
TV was just getting started in homes when
my mom died in 1952 and I was 5. We got
one of the first TV's in the neighborhood
and Bishop Sheen was on the round little
screen, I think 7 inches, and it was wavy.

Now when I look at it – it was only
7 years after World War II ended when we got
the TV and mom died. There were 3 priests in
our parish and lots of nuns running
                the schools.

After World War II men became more and
more focused on their power and more secular.
Then the cold war. In the 60's the seminaries
were full – so full and so was the convents –
so full - packed. It was not unusual for
someone to be a sister, a priest.
When we went to visit my brother at Mount
St. Mary's Seminary, now Our Lady
of the Holy Spirit Center – it was full
in the big chapel with seminarians praying
vespers and we stayed in there it seemed
for 2 hours when we visited him.
Fr. Joe wore a cassock a lot of the time –
They looked at it as an honor.

I want to look at the messages of the angel
                in 1916.

Excerpt from The Spirituality of Fatima

by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

Before receiving the six apparitions of Our Lady, May through October of 1917, the three Fatima visionaries were visited by an angel on three different occasions during the preceding year. He appeared to them in the spring, summer, and fall. Lucia (now Sr. Lucia) describes the springtime apparition of the angel:

"My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You."

Then, rising he said: "Pray thus. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications."

His words engraved themselves so deeply on our minds that we could never forget them (3)

During the summer of 1916, the angel again appeared to the three visionaries. He said to them:

Pray! Pray a great deal. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have merciful designs on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices continually to the Most High. Make everything you do a sacrifice, and offer it as an act of reparation for the sins by which God is offended, and as a petition for the conversion of sinners. Bring peace to our country in this way.... I am the Guardian Angel of Portugal Accept and bear with submission all the sufferings the Lord will send you. (4)

In the fall of the same year, the angel visited the visionaries a final time:

The angel came...bearing a golden chalice in one hand and a Host above it in the other. The amazed children noticed that drops of blood were falling from the Host into the chalice. Presently, the angel left both suspended in mid-air and prostrated himself on the ground, saying this beautiful prayer: "Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and [the intercession of] the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners." (5)

Sr. Lucia relates how the angel gave them Communion:

Then, rising, he took the chalice and the Host in his hand. He gave the Sacred Host to me and shared the Blood from the chalice between Jacinta and Francisco, saying as he did so:

"Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men! Make reparation for their crimes and console your God." (6)

Reflecting upon these messages of the angel, we see how much they contain for our spiritual instruction.

                R. So the angel was telling us what to do, what
to pray for – what was lacking etc.

When Mary came the next year 1917 –
World War I was still raging. Think of how awful
and brutal that war was and men were
on foot – in trenches – being burned
with things they threw in trenches,
it was a degrading and devastating war.

We see all through salvation history how
God sent signs and prophets to the people
and they would rebel against them and
                hate the prophets.

Then God the Father sent His only Son and
look what men did to Jesus.

                    Yesterday we celebrated the conversion
of St. Paul because he was putting
Christians to death – he sought them out
and gave them an awful death –

God gave him a gift, but He used him to give
us so much of the writings in the New Testament.
God showed us how He calls people and
He wants them to cooperate with the grace
He gives like St. Paul. St. Paul was blinded
for a while with scales on his eyes.

We know other saints, like St. Augustine
that changed – so drastically when he
                changed.

God shows us that He calls sinners
to change and we see St. Mary Magdalene
                under the cross.

                R. We see how God is like the "hound of heaven"
who seeks a soul and then they can
refuse and refuse, but we see that
St. Peter denied Christ and became the first pope
and Judas betrayed Christ and he hung
                himself.

There is a lesson in that isn't there –
he called 12 men to be Apostles
and one was Peter and one was Judas.

We see the deadly sin of pride at work
with Eve in the Garden – who had all these
gifts and thought nothing of anybody
but herself – she wanted to be equal to God.

Some parents think really little in making
the sacrifice to bend their hearts and work
in love with their spouse and look
at the poor children who suffer from
                broken homes.

God calls us to have hearts like Him
and commands us to love –

In the Holy Spirit sequence it says:

"Bend the stubborn heart and will,
melt the frozen warm the chill,
guide the steps that go astray."

The old adage you can lead a horse to
water, but you can't make him
                    drink.

God calls – it is God calling us to surrender
                    ourselves to His will,
but in the Bible we can see how many
times it speaks of hard hearts.

We can blame whoever we want for our
hard hearts, but nobody can get
inside a man and make him
                    have a hard heart –
He makes choices that give him
the heart that is frozen and
when he is called by God –
We can meditate why the beginning
of the Bible has the account of
Eve and wanting to be equal to God –
                    so she disobeyed God and
God punished Adam and Eve for
                    sinning against Him.

We see by the time of Noah there was such
corruption that God flooded the earth.
We know God is absolute truth and He
does not deceive – nor can He be deceived.
We know the devil rebelled against God
and there was the fall of the bad angels. The devil
wants to tempt men through the deadly sins of pride,
greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony, and sloth

The Bible is the book of life –
The story we read about is man is born,
man lives and man dies and
then he goes somewhere depending on
                what he did.

We don't know when we are going to
die. Every day is a gift we are to use
to be obedient to God's law of love,
to love God first and love our neighbor
                as ourselves.

Man has a free will –

Hitler caused so many deaths –
he deceived people, he killed people –
he got away with it – so many
                suffered –

Men put Jesus to death –

In the scripture it says God sent the
prophets and men persecuted them –

                The commandments are commands God
gave to Moses – they didn't change.

The Ten Commandments

  1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
  10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

                R. In the Garden when Adam and Eve sinned
blame entered the world – they
                    blamed each other, they
                    blamed the devil –

                Adam and Eve sinned –

God told them what to do and they disobeyed
God and you saw the results
                    of their sin –

                Cain killed his brother –

  Exodus 34: 6-7

Then Yahweh passed before him and called out, ‘Yahweh, Yahweh, God of tenderness and compassion, slow to anger, rich in faithful love and constancy, maintaining his faithful love to thousands, forgiving fault, crime and sin, yet letting nothing go unchecked, and punishing the parent’s fault in the children and in the grandchildren to the third and fourth generation!’

                R. In the Holy Spirit Novena we pray for
                    generational healing. How can
anybody heal when they are so
prideful to think they do no wrong.

Jesus came and paid a big price to show
us He went out to us, to teach us
                    how to love –

Jesus showed us He obeyed the will of
                    the heavenly Father to His
                    death on the cross.

1 Timothy 1: 1-11

Paul, apostle of Christ Jesus appointed by the command of God our Saviour and of Christ Jesus our hope, to Timothy, true child of mine in the faith. Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Christ Jesus our Lord.

When I was setting out for Macedonia I urged you to stay on in Ephesus to instruct certain people not to spread wrong teaching or to give attention to myths and unending genealogies; these things only foster doubts instead of furthering God's plan which is founded on faith. The final goal at which this instruction aims is love, issuing from a pure heart, a clear conscience and a sincere faith. Some people have missed the way to these things and turned to empty speculation, trying to be teachers of the Law; but they understand neither the words they use nor the matters about which they make such strong assertions.

We are well aware that the Law is good, but only provided it is used legitimately, on the understanding that laws are not framed for people who are upright. On the contrary, they are for criminals and the insubordinate, for the irreligious and the wicked, for the sacrilegious and the godless; they are for people who kill their fathers or mothers and for murderers, for the promiscuous, homosexuals, kidnappers, for liars and for perjurers – and for everything else that is contrary to the sound teaching that accords with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, the gospel that was entrusted to me.

                R. Rebellion and teaching is an age old
                    problem we see –
from Genesis to Revelation – we see
the story of the man wanting his
own will over God's will and that
willfulness against God leads a man to
                    darkness.

Man is to be kind and gentle in
                heart.

We see the plagues in the Old Testament and
how the Pharaoh was obstinate in his
heart – he could blame Moses or anyone
he wanted, but he was obstinate and
even with the plagues – he wouldn't
                    change his heart –

Sing: Give Me Your Heart oh Jesus

                R. We see the little child crying by the tree in the
dark and rainy night and right before
him – not too far is the lighted house
of shelter, but he has a free will to
                    stay on a pity-pot or
move into the lighted, heated, shelter of
God's holy Heart – the Heart of Jesus.

It is because of our wounded human nature we
have a tendency to sin. We can be obstinate
and prideful – hell is full of men who wouldn't
change – No batter what and kept doing
what they wanted – sinning mortally against
God but would not repent –

God is love. He has created us in His image
and likeness, but we have tendencies toward
the deadly sins because of our wounded
human nature. We must choose love –
Love of God, first, Loving God with our
whole heart, our whole soul, our whole
being and loving our neighbor as ourselves.
God is going to judge us on this –

Did we bend the stubborn heart and
                    will –
did we act like the Pharaoh who
                    was obstinate?

He went into the sea –

God gave him ways to show him to
                    change –
all the plagues God sent and
he wouldn't listen to Moses –

Like the prophets of old – men wanted
                    to kill them –

They even put the Son of God to death –

September 4, 2004

                R. What a gift we have in baptism. We receive
a sharing in Divine Life –

We can know and love supernaturally –

When we go into Church – the holy water
fountain is there and we bless
ourselves to remind us of baptism –

We can see the stories of the Bible
Jonah had a choice and he tried
to run from the call of God –

Joshua said yes to take over the
                    rebellious Israelites.

God calls us to trust Him, but we may
                    disobey God because we don't
                    trust Him.

God is our God and He has proved to us
over and over again how much
                    He loves us.

God can give us strength to do His will,
but we can't be obstinate and
                    closed –
we have a free will –

When Moses went up the mountain and was
gone a long time the people made
a Golden Calf and worshipped it.

God put us on earth in this life to
endure it and do it His way,
                    according to His plan –

They couldn't wait for Moses to come
down off the mountain – look at
all the energy they took to melt
down the gold and make a
                    golden calf because they couldn't
wait on the Lord and show God they
                    would live His plan –

They melted the gold – made a golden calf and
                    were singing and dancing and
honoring it and God was so near.

We can't honor ourselves first and
                    honor God. God is God.

                Who is on our throne?

Jeremiah 7: 23

My one command to them was this: Listen to my voice, then I will be your God and you shall be my people. In everything, follow the way that I mark out for you, and you shall prosper.

                R. Jeremiah suffered, but he told the
                    people what God said.

Doing what God calls us to do is not always
easy, but we must trust God and
not sin because we choose to
get closed down, bored and on a
pity-pot of our own making –

God has a plan and we are commissioned
in baptism to go out and spread the
                    Good News –

God gave us the Commandments as rules
to follow – When we obey the
                    Commandments we put God first
and we get along with others –

We can blame others when we live a
life of disobedience to God's rules
that makes us feel bad, that
makes us go deeper into darkness,
further from God – because God
commands us to love our brothers
                    as ourselves.

God is all powerful – He can work in
our lives – unless I refuse
to pay attention to God and put
myself and what my plan is above God's –
that is pride – Eve did that in the Garden.

Psalm 121: 1-2

I lift up my eyes to the mountains;
where is my help to come from?
My help comes from Yahweh
    who made heaven and earth.

                R. God loves us more than we can love ourselves
and God will give us what we need
                    if we ask Him.
God divided the Red Sea for His
                    people and the obstinate Pharaoh
went right in with his chariots
                    and charioteers. The waters
                    enveloped them –

Men who love God and keep His
                    commandments will receive the
reward of heaven – those who
oppose God's will and do not repent and
sin mortally can be swallowed in
                    the pit eternally.

                God is all just –
                God is all good –
                God is Mighty
                God is Omnipotent
                God loves us

Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

"Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You! +

"Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock."

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

  1. R. Be with Jesus as He kneels in the Garden of Gethsemane.

  2. R. Be there in the night. Hear the sounds of the night. See Jesus as He kneels in such agony to see before Him all the sufferings that He is about to undergo.

  3. R. With greatest love for each one of us, the Father sent into this world His only-begotten Son.

  4. R. Jesus took on a human nature with greatest love for each one of us. He now kneels in the Garden, His Heart in such anguish. He who is Love sees before Him all the souls from all time who would neglect Him and treat Him so indifferently despite all His suffering and love that His most tender Heart has for each and every soul.

  5. R. Jesus saw before Him all the souls that would be condemned to eternal damnation despite the fact that He suffered and died for love of each soul.

  6. R. The anguish that Jesus suffered in the Garden, the agonies that He suffered to His most Sacred Heart, were far greater than the physical wounds that He would soon bear throughout His entire Passion. For Jesus is Love, with a Heart burning for love of all souls-the souls that neglect Him, the souls that do not even think of Him, the souls that go through their lives, have nothing to do with Jesus, and then are condemned forever and ever to the fires of hell.

  7. R. Jesus remains with us this very day, the same as the day that He knelt in the Garden. He remains with us in His Divinity and humanity. With greatest love for each one of us He longs, He thirsts, He waits for us to come and be with Him in front of the tabernacle.

  8. Jesus' suffering in the Garden was so great that His sweat became as great drops of blood upon the ground.

  9. R. Jesus went to the apostles and asked them, "Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour?" (Mk 14:37) How many times does Jesus ask us this day if we do not have one hour to spend with Him? There are twenty-four hours in a day. But how many times during the day do we say no to Jesus, that we are too busy. And His Heart waits and waits for us. At every second His Heart is an endless, burning furnace of love. Whether we think of Him or not, He is always ablaze, on fire for us, loving us and waiting for us to allow Him to be our constant companion.

  10. R. God, grant to us the grace to know and to love You more so that we can more fully realize that You truly are God-made-man in Jesus Christ, that You come to this earth in greatest love for each one of us, that You long and wait for our love and that You want to give us Your love.

Song between decades: I come to you with greatest love, I am your loving Savior. I am your God, I died for you. I come to you this day.

The Scourging at the Pillar

  1. Jesus: My Heart is on fire for each one of My precious souls. I long for you to come and be with Me. As I suffered all through My Passion, the greatest agonies were not the agonies that I suffered to My body-the scourging at the pillar, the tearing of My flesh-but the agonies that I endured to My most tender Heart, which is a Heart of love waiting to share with each and every one of My precious souls. Oh, My children, I call out to you this day to spread My love to the world that is in pain. I call out to you to be My soldiers, to spread the love of My Most Sacred Heart to the souls that are suffering and in pain. You are My mighty warriors in a world that is cold and has forgotten God. You must be strong soldiers, for this world will persecute you as they persecuted Me. I send you into the world, armed with hearts filled with My love, to spread My love along the highways and the byways in every corner of this earth and I ask you this day, can you say no?

  2. Jesus: They tied Me to a pillar and they beat My flesh. My once unblemished back was now an open wound. I was full of blood. But My worst agony was the agony that I endured in My Most Sacred Heart, the Heart that gives to you and to souls divine love, a sharing in My life, and is rejected by many, is treated coldly.

  3. Jesus: I loved Judas so dearly and Judas betrayed Me with a kiss. How many of My dear souls come to Me with hearts that are hot and cold. I want you to come to Me with hearts, full of love, that will unite with Mine, that will become one with Mine, that will give to this world My love for your hurting brothers. I ask you this day, "Do not say no!" I am truly Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who was scourged at the pillar for love of your brothers. I ask you to hear the blows that they gave to Me. They are the blows that I suffered for your brother. How can you treat your brother badly when they tore My flesh, and out of greatest love I withstood all this treatment for your beloved brother?

  4. Jesus: I gave My all. I stood there. I was beaten. I was bruised. I was bloodied. I came to show you the way, the way to love. They persecuted Me. I loved those who persecuted Me. I ask you this day to be kind in your heart, to give to this world the love that I want to give to you. I am a burning furnace of endless love. My power never goes out. My love is never spent. Come to My Most Sacred Heart and I will fill your hearts with endless love.

  5. Song: Lord, let me walk that last mile in Your shoes, under the weight of the wood…

  6. Jesus: See in the dim light as I stand at the pillar. See the men with their angry faces, with hatred in their hearts, as they pound at My flesh.

  7. Jesus: When they persecute you and hate you because you are not of this world, you must endure all out of greatest love. My way is always love. I came to show you the way, the way to eternal happiness. It is only in loving one another that you will merit eternal life. I ask you for two things. I ask you to love God and to love one another.

  8. Jesus: Come to My Eucharistic Heart! Let Me fill you with the fire of My love so that it will radiate to all those that you come in contact with. For the power of the Almighty God is a power that cannot be contained. It will radiate from your being to all those you touch.

  9. Jesus: When I walked from the pillar, the earth was marked by My bloody footprints.

  10. Jesus: As the earth was marked by My bloody footprints, I ask you to make a mark on this world, to spread to this world the love of My Most Sacred Heart.

Song between decades: I come to you with greatest love…

The Crowning with Thorns

  1. Jesus: My body was battered, bruised and bloodied, and they covered Me with a dirty purple robe that they put on top of My wounds. I held a scepter and they crowned Me with a sharp crown of piercing thorns.

  2. R. Do you know what it is like to get a little splinter in your hand? They pounded into Jesus' most precious head thorns that were thick and piercing until the blood ran down His face, into His eyes and into His ears. His hair was matted. This was truly the King of Kings! The Son of God! And He was crowned with a crown of piercing thorns!

  3. Song: Only this I want, but to know the Lord, and to bear His cross, so to wear the crown He wore…

  4. Jesus: They spit on Me and they hollered slanders at Me and I sat, as they did, in silence.

  5. Jesus: I truly came into this world, the Son of God, to show you the way. As I sat in silence, think of how you respond to those who come to you with hatred in their hearts. My way is the way of love. You must love all your brothers as I have loved.

  6. Jesus: My Father created each and every child-so precious, so unique-with such love that He sent Me into this world.

  7. Jesus: I love you so this day that I would suffer again all that I suffered for you before.

  8. Jesus: With all the love that I pour out to each and every one of you, think of how it is to love so much and to be neglected by so many.

  9. Jesus: Pray to the Spirit to open your heart to the fire of My love.

  10. Jesus: You are blind men! You do not see the love that I outpour to you. You see little incidental things, so close in front of your face, when My Heart is overflowing with divine love. I want to give you a sharing in My life! I give you Myself in the Eucharist. Come for My love. Nothing on this earth can compare to My divine love. I give you the sacrament of baptism thereby I give you a sharing in My life.

Song between decades: I come to you with greatest love...

The Carrying of the Cross

  1. R. See Jesus with His hands tied, with a look of perfect peace on His face. And see those men who are surrounding Jesus, with their sharp instruments poking at Him with anger and hatred on their faces-such anger and hatred that they condemned Jesus to death on a cross!

  2. R. They gave to Jesus a heavy cross that they put on His most precious shoulder. He carried the weight of the sins of the world on His back. This is the love that He has for each and every man, that He carries the cross with our sins on His back.

  3. R. Jesus calls out to us that He is no less present in the Eucharist this day than the day He walked to Calvary with His cross on His back. And He says to each one of us, "I give you Myself. Why do you run from My altar when I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, come to you and become one with you, and you run from the Church?"

  4. Jesus: I peered into the eyes of My beloved mother and she peered into My eyes. There was joy at the meeting of the eyes, but such sorrow deep within each of Our Hearts. The knowing of My mother, the knowing of Me, her most precious Son, and how she had held Me and loved Me! I saw her in such suffering! I saw her face with tears. I saw My most precious mother torn so deeply in her Heart. It is the love of Our Hearts for you that has led us to this place. I ask you to spread this love throughout the world. I would truly carry My cross this day for you because I love you so dearly. My children! My children! What more do you want than that God comes to earth and is born a man out of greatest love for you? And you in your limited vision see only in front of your face. You do not come to My altar to receive the life that I want to outpour to you. My children! My children! You are so blind! Pray for grace! Pray for My life, to know and love all that you do not see. You do not see because you do not come to My altar, because you do not spend time with Me!

  5. Jesus: My mother comes to stay, to lead you ever closer to My most tender Heart. I ask you to answer this call, the call of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to be joined ever closer to the Hearts brimming over with love for each and every soul.

  6. Jesus: I fell under My cross. The weight was so heavy! I did not give My cross up. I willingly carried this cross for love of you!

  7. Jesus: It is in living in the Father's Will that you will be the happiest. To My very death I followed the Will of the Father.

  8. Song: See the eyes that look at Mary, her tender infant child. See the child's Heart beat so tenderly, the Savior of the world.

  9. R. See through the eyes of Mary. She peered into Jesus' eyes on Calvary. See through the eyes of Mary as she comes and appears to us this day to tell us to see her through her eyes the love of her precious Son, Jesus Christ, to see that He truly walked to Calvary, that He was truly scourged and crowned with thorns and that He did it for greatest love of each of us. And He calls out this day for us to come and be with Him and to spread His love to this world.

  10. Song: She rocked Him as a baby. She fed Him as a child. She heard Him call Her name out in the night. She helped Him take His first step and she cried when He said His first words. I wish they all could see through a Mother's eyes.

Song between decades: I come to you with greatest love…

The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus on the Cross

  1. R. See the little hands of Jesus. See the little feet of Jesus as Mary holds Him as a baby. And now she stands and watches as they pound nails through His most precious hands into the cross. The anguish in her Heart so deep! And a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, Oh Mary!

  2. R. Mary does not bear the wounds, the blood, as Jesus does. But Mary's Heart is torn to see her beloved Son, battered, bruised and bloody, and now hanging on the cross!

  3. R. Be there! The sky has turned dark as Jesus hangs for three agonizing hours on the cross. His body is humped over. He is so weak! He gives His blood. He spreads His arms. He gives His all for love of each and every one of us. He truly gives His flesh. He gives His blood because He loves us so much! He was born a human! He was born on bare wood in a stable and now He hangs on a cross!

  4. R. His blood was spent so that we could inherit eternal life.

  5. R. As He gave His life on the cross, so He gives us His life this day in the Eucharist!

  6. Song: I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me shall not hunger and who believes in Me shall not thirst. No one can come to Me unless the Father beckons. And I will raise you up, and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day.

  7. R. He gave the last beat of His Heart. He gave His last breath. He gave His all. His hands were punctured with nails. His Head was pierced with thorns. He gave the inside of His body as well as the outside of His body! And He asks us, in greatest love, to surrender ourselves to Him. For He truly gave His all for love of us. If He loved us so much that He gave His body, His blood, His all for each and every one of us, would He not give us from His abundance this day? He comes with such letters of love to tell you that He is truly Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and in your midst this day in the Eucharist, waiting for you to come and be with Him, for He truly loves with a Heart of divine love. He gives us a sharing in His life through baptism. He wants so much to share Himself with us!
Jesus: Come to Me, My children, and I will give you My divine love, a sharing in My life through baptism. I love you so dearly! I call out to you this day to come for My love and to give this love to the world for it is only through you that the Father's plan will be realized. For a heart fixed on the love of God can move a mountain. I am asking you to live in the Father's Will, to spread My love throughout the world. If you say no, this world will suffer. You are My chosen ones, each and every soul. Come! Be filled with the love I pour out to you. Love your fellowmen. Love your brothers when they hate you and persecute you. Love them as I loved those who put Me to death. I ask you this day to open your hearts and rid yourselves of all impurities, to pray to the Spirit to sanctify your hearts, to clean out the debris of hatred and anger, and to come to My tabernacle with a heart that is open and pure so I can fill you with My divine love. For it is in your uniting with Me that I can operate from you and love this world as I so desire. This is My call to you this day. Can you say no? See Me hanging on the cross. This is how I loved you!

  8. R. Mary stood under the cross and she saw Her beloved Son as He took His last breath.

  9. R. She calls out to you this day. She is calling! She is calling each and every soul that He gave His life for to know His love. For it is only in this love that you will find what your soul craves.

  10. R. And they gave to Mary the lifeless body of her precious Son. As she held His baby body tenderly in her arms, she-so weak!-now holds His lifeless body in her arms, covered with blood.

Dear Friends,

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

If you read Fr. Joe's book like I did on the 13th you can see how awesome it is.

It helps me understand what is happening in the writings during the liturgical year.

It is so very good, it makes me so eager to live the liturgy in my life,
live in the liturgical year.

Well we have sent over 13,000 of Fr. Joe's new cycle books since the beginning of November to priests and hierarchy
all over the world.

It can enrich so many lives with the weekly sermon rooted in the Word, the Eucharist,
the liturgy,
the Mass,

Baptism, love and unity.

When a priest uses the book weekly he focuses on the Bread of Life to feed the people.

Say a priest says 4 or 5 Masses weekly
Think of how many souls could be reached with the people attending Mass.

Fr. Joe speaks of love and being a member of the body of Christ, living in relationships
all in the context of the scripture.

We see salvation history and its ups and downs -
we see our calling from God
and we see our part in salvation history.

God calls - we respond.

The body of Christ can help the world to raise up to greater perfection.

What are you doing to help this coming election in the United States.

This book of Fr. Joe's can help so many people every week.

We have sent over 13,000 books out to priests and hierarchy to every priest in your state.

We have sent the books to so many priests in the United States and all Bishops.

Can't you help us.

We also send a Prayer Brochure with the Shepherds of Christ prayers praying for the priests, the Church and the world.

We pray in adoration 8 days a month with usually 6 Masses for you, your family and the priests the Church and the world.

We pray in 24 hour adoration before the Exposed Blessed Eucharist in China for all this and for you.

The China mortgage is due tomorrow

and we are struggling because of giving so much money to the Ministries.

Can anyone help us with a donation.

Also we are printing another 20,000 of Fr. Joe's books
going to all the priests in the United States.

This can enormously help for this coming election.

A weekly Priestly Newsletter used about the scriptures and everything at Sunday Mass.

Please we need your help.

If you want to know what to do to help the world and especially all active priests in the United States please help us with a donation.

We need your help today.
Thanks for your prayers and help in advance.

God Bless you and love you.
