                November 7, 2015

                R. God, increase in us, Your
                    love –
                    Help us to grow in
                    faith, hope and love.

There are so many things we have
to learn to be as Jesus wants us to
                be.

We are on a journey here to learn to
love, to get along, to work with
                each other.

God wants us to help promote
His Kingdom, to be witnesses with
our lives of the Christ who lives
                in us.

We have a long way to grow and the
emphasis in our lives has to be in
                loving.

Every day comes out of the darkness –
from the dark of night, comes the light
                of day.

Children grow in homes where people
have taught them many things. Parents
                can be learning themselves about
who they are and can not be the way
they need to be many times.

i.e. Parents need to teach their children
about authority. If parents show children
how they disregard authority, themselves they
teach the children that is is okay to disregard
authority. God wants us to obey His will.
Our whole life is a lesson on how to be
                    under authority. The 4th commandment
demands obedience of children (to a certain age),
to their parents. A child is being taught for heaven
when they are taught how important it is
to obey just authority over them. Bad
example where parents rebel against authority,
play games, manipulate, drive themselves simply
away from harmony with the plan of God, in an
attempt to seek dominance for dominance sake,
teaches children to follow in their footsteps
which is a big stumbling block in the spiritual life.
Is it not that we have heard "A chip off the old block".
When the parents are argumentative, fighting always
justifying, disharmonious, opting to be first above
authority, are they not showing bad example that
can cause grave damage to the children.
Seeking the will of God and living in love
are vital to growth in the spiritual life. Showing
                    children envy, bitterness, smartness, pride,
argumentation, teaches children very bad habits
of how to live in a world God created, in harmony
                    and love.

Parents can be so focused on
                themselves and what they want
or need, they can treat their children
                very incorrectly.

The wounded human nature is wounded –
                men have tendencies toward pride
                and anger, jealousy and envy,
                slothfulness and lust and gluttony.

God gives us the wonderful gift
of baptism, Jesus paid a big price
so we could have this gift. God
gives us the sacraments and the
priest to celebrate Mass – God gives
                us the sacrament of marriage.

So like a new day that comes
into view, first dark, then we see
                it shows much brighter, coming
into vision. At first we do not see
                so clearly when the darkness
covers the earth, but then we
begin to see in a little light the
view of the new day and it grows
lighter and more clear slowly and
then soon the day is so bright
                we may need sun glasses.

And at night the day is put
away in a likewise manner –
like some one dimming the lights
so we can rest before the next new
                day.

God has given us eyelids to
close when we need to rest, but
a man of wisdom must keep his
eyes open every day to see his
                surroundings –

Some men are blind – completely and
they can have day and nights mixed
up. Blind men do not see like men
                with sight.

If all we count on is our seeing,
the blind man would not know
anything, but he can live and
                function even when blind and
                he doesn't see.

God is a mystery – there is the
seen and unseen. If all we focus
on is what we see, the blind man
                would be out of luck.

I see Jesus and Mary appear
to me, others do not see this –
I know because I see Them,
when we pray in Clearwater, Mary
                is appearing and praying with
us. How powerful it is for me
to see Our Lady appear and pray
with us – To know God loves us
so much to allow me to see her
pray with us and how it comforts
me to know how powerful this
                is.

But sometimes when I pray in
the apparition room I am wiped
out afterwards and feeling so very
frustrated the next day that there is so
                much disobedience and willfulness
                and disunity in the world.

I know the mission God has given, as
co-founder of the Shepherds of Christ, and
I want so much to do it. To be like Mary who
said "yes" to God. Jesus said – even
though He knew in detail all He would
suffer He said to His Father –
"Thy will be done" and Jesus sweat
blood in the Garden knowing what
He knew and how men would disobey
and sin and be so willful and
be so sinful – lose their souls
                to the fires of hell.

We are here to see – like the morning
waking from a night of darkness –
to see more and more clearly with
each new day – an opportunity to grow
more and more in the image of God –
to be a reflection before men of
                the Christ-life in us.

When a man first gets up – it
can be dark outside – then it gets
lighter and lighter and lighter and
where he may have seen nothing on
rising – the view becomes clearer
and clearer and clearer as the
                light grows across the sky.

God gives us the sacrament of
baptism – a sharing in Divine Life
and He wants to fill us more and
more with His life in us.

Fr. Carter would say – "Rita, you would
fall on your face if you saw your
own graced soul – it is so beautiful
                filled with God's grace."

But we are called to be servants
of the Lord and live according to
God's will in love. God has a Plan –
God puts order into things –
The man of pride wants disorder –
he wants to be on top of those
God puts over him – he doesn't
know his place – This disorder
                hurts everybody, when a man
is out for seeking dominance for
                dominance sake –

We see the sin of pride of Adam and
Eve and how it hurt the whole
human race. Sin is communal –
                It hurts others.

Jesus paid the price for our
sins. The man trying to do the
will of God can be subject to
                games and manipulation, disunity,
                meanness, violence while the
man of pride steps on everybody's
head to get ahead with his games
                and disorder and disharmony.

                    It is swimming against the
current and the Plan God wants
                for selfishness and evil.

God is so good to us. God is the one
with the Plan and the Blue Books
teach us to surrender to Him.
Fr. Carter said Blue Book II
was a book on surrender –
Fr. Carter lived by the Blue Books – he
was in harmony with me as the
Founder to the Plan God gave
us for the Shepherds of Christ.

Fr. Carter loved the people – he hugged
us all – there was great unity at
                prayer services and we would
                get together afterward and every
one was happy. They came because
they were called by God and they
                responded to His call. God
called – they knew it – they answered.

Fr. Carter supported the messages, the
                prayer services and the people
                came not because we manipulated
                anything –

                    Their lives changed with the
                Prayer Meetings – Mary appeared
and they felt loved and unity –
Fr. Carter was an instrument of love –
Fr. Carter, a priest who was so much
                like Jesus.

                    Jesus called this Movement and
He asked us to have all these
                levels of Commitment –

There are seven levels of commitment in the Shepherds of Christ Movement.

  1. There are Associates who gather and pray at least once monthly as a group and also help with donations to support the Shepherds of Christ priestly newsletter. They can be tremendously involved. They give as they feel they are able.

  2. Apostles are member who have restricted their apostolic activity to the Shepherds of Christ. They literally act as a body of lay people who have given their lives in their present living situation to do all that they can to bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart.

  3. Prayer Apostles are often shut-ins, some are able to go to church and pray. They spend much of their lives praying for the Movement.

  4. Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are those who spend at least two separate hours weekly before the Blessed Sacrament praying for the following:

    1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

    2. For the Pope.

    3. For all bishops of the world.

    4. For all priests.

    5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.

    6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this Movement to the world.

    7. For all members of the Catholic Church.

    8. For all members of the human family.

    9. For all souls in purgatory.

In that hour before the Eucharist they spend part of the time praying the Shepherds of Christ prayers and the rosary. The time can be spent with spouse or others, but most spend the time alone before the Eucharist.

  5. Handmaids of the Good Shepherd are young and older women who have given their lives in community primarily to pray for the Shepherds of Christ Movement and intentions and to be special spouses of Jesus. Some have more duties than others. All have the primary duty of prayer and the desire to be a special spouse of Our Lord. One of the functions of the handmaids is their involvement in praying for and helping to circulate the priestly newsletter. The handmaids are not members of a religious order.

  6. Servants of the Good Shepherd are men who live in community with a lifestyle and purpose similar to that of the handmaids. The servants are not members of a religious order.

  7. We wish to form a special congregation of priests who will realize their great oneness with Christ. They will be consecrated deeply to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and support the Shepherds of Christ Movement as holy priests.

    end of excerpt

                R. Jesus asked for Centers to draw
people to prayer with prayer meetings
                where Mary and sometimes Jesus
appeared while we prayed for the
priests, the Church and the world.
The prayer services then most of
them were accompanied by Masses –
8 days of prayer – focused on
                praying with 6 or 7 Masses –
4 or 5 days before the Exposed
                Eucharist and giving ourselves
in prayer, as Jesus asked, praying
for the priests, the Church and
                the world.

We prayed now in China before
                the Eucharist since 1998 and
                24 hours a day since 2004.

We prayed the 6:20 prayers in
China and Florida every day since
                1998 – praying usually, a couple
of hours for the priests, the Church
and the world. Soon after this we
                began praying on the internet.

Our Movement is a gift God
has given – calling Servants and
                Handmaids to give their lives
in service to God for this
                mission, under a superior,
praying and serving for the priests,
the Church and the world and
                spreading these writings, the
                priestly writing to the whole
world – to priests and hierarchy
                and spreading the Prayer Manual
praying in 8 languages for the
                priests, the Church and the
                world.

                R. We are a Movement of Prayer –
the Centers are for people to
come and pray and the retreats,
                and do this work –

Fr. Carter had a vision our
                Centers would be places for
retreats – people to come and
                pray –

Mary told me to pray on the 5th
                since April 5, 1995 – to have
                gatherings of prayer – over
                20 years now.

                Jesus gave message, after message
                about people coming and
                praying on the 13ths at
                12:00 –

Jesus called the people – Mary and
                Jesus said when people come
                great graces would be given
to all coming to Florida and
                China on 5ths and 13ths –
                Great graces of healing –

                Servants and handmaids were
                to welcome these people and
                to serve in anyway necessary
                to support these gatherings
                for prayer.

                Servants and handmaids were
called to serve this mission –
to work with each other communally
under the superior to serve this
Movement – in order – in love –
so people could come and be
                drawn in as adorers in
                China, as people of prayer
in Florida at nightly meetings –

                Jesus called Associates, Apostles,
Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of
                    Jesus, prayer apostles and the
                    Servants and Handmaids
                    were to support this
                    extensive prayer and
                    teachings daily, during
                    retreats and on 5ths and 13ths –

                    This Movement, These writings,
Mary appears in Florida is a
                gift. China is a gift.
