                March 31, 2014

Jesus: Since the garden satan has attacked
                men through them seeking independence.
In the world today some men have sought
                independence from God.

                R. So how can such division and disharmony
in relationships work in today's world?

The very structure of such division
is opposed to unity, harmony, structure which is
                     God's will.

                God wants us to be
                     like brothers caring for
                     each other.

Satan has worked in the people to chose
their ways by whether or not
they remain independent of each other –
and this is how they make decisions –
                     to stay separated, disconnected,
                     disharmonious and in control –
                     not observing structure or
                     obeying authority and
                     trying to prove the wrong
                     they do as right  –
lying to do it if they have to.

                 INDEPENDENCE

                Everyone sees disunity – you
                    wear it like clothes.

                God works in structure –

We see Eve wanted her own will
                to be equal to God.

                    Independence from authority
                (just authority) brings shrinking –
people see this – Jesus says you
                wear disunity like clothes –

Sheila looked at the Bishops in the United
States, the Cardinals in the world and she was in
awe of the structure in the Church and
one of the hierarchy die and another is
there to take their place, she says.

God operates in structure – look at
His Plan for the 3 stages of the Church.

e) Relationship with Members of the Church

There is but one true Church of Christ. Yet this one Church has three different states of existence. There is the pilgrim Church, the Church of this world, composed of members who have received the grace of Christ and strive for its development. They have not yet obtained the goal of their efforts, as have the members of the heavenly Church, who enjoy God in eternal happiness. The Church suffering is an intermediate state of existence necessary for those who had not achieved the required purification as members of the pilgrim Church. Although there are these three phases of the Church’s existence, there is a profound union existing between all the members. All these members possess the same basic life of grace in Christ, and this common life establishes the most intimate bonds of love. In our preceding chapter, we discussed the pilgrim Church. Let us now consider the Church suffering and the heavenly Church.

The members of the Church suffering are those who have departed from this life in an incomplete state of Christian development. Their development is incomplete in the sense that grace has not fully taken possession of them, and, as a result, they are yet closed in upon themselves to a greater or lesser degree. They as yet cannot open themselves out in complete love to the Triune God in the beatific vision. They must undergo a further purification, a purification which could have been achieved upon earth with merit. Now the purification must be achieved with no merit attached. The pain of this purification is mixed with the certain expectation of achieving the vision of God. We can hasten the advent of this vision for this people by the offering of prayers and other good works. Scripture itself refers to our action on behalf of those in purgatory in Chapter 12 of the Second Book of Maccabees beginning with verse 38.

The members of the heavenly Church are those in whom the life of grace has taken full possession and has reached its completion in the life of glory. Faith now is unnecessary, as the light of glory gives the human intellect a new strength and capacity for seeing God face-to-face. While the Christian was a wayfarer, he received the imprint of the indwelling Trinity as he shared in God’s own life. Now in heaven that grace-life and possession of God reaches its completion—the absolute completion is not achieved, however, until the resurrection of the body. The divine persons give Themselves to the beatified in a profound union far surpassing that of the indwelling of the Trinity experienced here below.

This life of heaven is still the Christ-life, for just as we possess a share in Trinitarian life here below as mediated by Christ, and exercise this grace-life as structured by Him, so also in heaven is the mediation of Christ present. In the words of Rahner, "One always sees the Father through Jesus. Just as immediately as this, for the directness of the vision of God is not a denial of the mediatorship of Christ as man."14 And not only does the humanity of Christ unite the blessed to God, but also, in some way, to the whole of creation. This is merely a completion of what is begun here below, namely, the union with Christ in His humanity establishing the Christian in a special relationship with God, with other men, and with the whole of creation. We have a glimpse, therefore, of the fullness of life which members of the heavenly Church possess.

The heavenly Church, as St. Thomas says, is the true Church.15 The Church of this earth and the Church of purgatory are, each in its own way, reaching out in loving hope for the heavenly Jerusalem. Vatican II puts it very simply: "The Church, to which we are called in Christ Jesus, and in which we acquire sanctity through the grace of God, will attain her full perfection only in the glory of heaven."16

The members of the heavenly Church can help us in living our life of grace until we too share its fullness with them. Their power of intercession on our behalf is but another ramification of the communal aspect of Christianity. We are meant to help others grow in Christ. We, in turn, are intended by God to receive aid from others—yes, from members of the heavenly Church, as well as from those with whom we dwell here below.

Not only can we be aided by the saints’ intercession, but the example of the canonized saints can also be of great value to us. They have concretely proved that full holiness is possible. Such an inspiration is of real worth when we are tempted to think that Christian sanctity in its higher degrees is impossible of attainment. Moreover, the canonized saints, in their diversity, teach us that there are many authentic versions of Christian holiness. They can be innovators in showing us that there are numerous possibilities in assimilating the mystery of Christ, although the basic assimilation remains the same for all Christians of all times. In the opinion of Rahner this is one of the chief roles the canonized saints exert in the life of the Church.17

                R. God is the Creator – look at the
                universe and creation, species of
                animals, fish, plants, the life
                cycle.

God made man in His image
                and likeness –

Genesis 1: 26-27

God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild animals and all the creatures that creep along the ground.’

God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him,
male and female he created them.

                R. Man was given all these gifts and the
devil came and tempted Eve in the Garden.
He wanted her to get to Adam – so they
would both sin. Isn't that how the
devil works – one sins and tempts
others to sin, because of pride and
jealousy and envy – they are deadly sins,
they are attractions of our wounded
                human nature.

                    God created an orderly, harmonious
                beautiful, good loving world and
Eve wanted to be equal to God –
                INDEPENDENCE of Authority –
EVE rebelled against God and Eve
pressed on Adam to do so. They had
all these gifts God gave them, but
they didn't want to obey God –
                They wanted INDEPENDENCE –
In this world today there is independence
                from God –

If satan wants to attack someone they
pull out the ones over them, because
                everybody is under somebody.

ELEVEN   Other Christian Virtues (excerpt)

5. Obedience

Obedience disposes the Christian to relate properly to authority. In turn, all authority has been established by God. Concerning civil authority, St. Paul comments: "You must all obey the governing authorities. Since all government comes from God, the civil authorities were appointed by God, and so anyone who resists authority is rebelling against God's decision, and such an act is bound to be punished." (Rm 13:1-2). If God has established authority in civil society, He also, obviously, has established authority within the Church. In the words of Vatican II: "Therefore, the sacred council teaches that bishops by divine institution have succeeded to the place of the apostles, as shepherds of the Church, and that he who hears them, hears Christ, and he who rejects them, rejects Christ and him who sent Christ (Cf. Lk 10-16)."5  This authority of bishops is shared by others in the Church, such as pastors and religious superiors.

In our second chapter we have already treated to some extent authority and obedience within the Church. It is a question here of continuing that discussion.

Authority in the Church is aimed at building up the Body of Christ. It is concerned with developing the Christ-life within the members of the People of God. It is concerned with making the Church a more authentic continuation of the redemptive Incarnation. To do this properly, authority must realize its service role. The People of God do not exist for the sake of authority, but rather authority exists for the People of God. The People of God, in obedience to authority, are aided in their growth in Christ; for authority is meant to help channel the will of God and aid in its implementation. God has indeed chosen to manifest His will partly through Church authority. In this He respects man's nature. Man has a social dimension and therefore is meant to live in community. Life in community, in turn, demands authority.

For too many years, however, authority in the Church has to some extent failed to realize its service function. Happily, a new theology of authority and of person is emerging to correct the situation. Formerly there was too much emphasis given to authority and to external law in the Church to the detriment of other values such as personal dignity, freedom and initiative.

Actually, authority is at the service of the freedom possessed by the members of the People of God.6 Christ has come to perfect our freedom. He has given us the Holy Spirit to lead us to the fullness of freedom through the exercise of our Christ-like. We are meant to become more free the more we open ourselves up to God's self-communication in Christ. The more we choose God in Christ the freer we become, for we were created free in order to choose God and His will in all its various dimensions of our lives.

Authority in the Church must respect the People of God's freedom in Christ. Those exercising authority must realize that the members of Christ grow primarily through the interior workings of the Holy Spirit. This is why there must be some sort of continual dialogue between these possessing authority and those whom they serve. Otherwise, how can the holders of authority know the various ways according to which the Holy Spirit seems to be leading the People of God? Thus unaware, how can authority perform one of its tasks: confirming and helping to direct these workings of the Spirit?

Because authority is meant to assist the workings of the Holy Spirit – the perfecter of freedom – as He leads the People of God, the external law of the Church should become much more general. This is so because of the unique individuality of each member of the Church. The Holy Spirit, it is true, will lead all according to the basic pattern of the mystery of Christ. But He also respects the uniqueness of each person. When Church law becomes too detailed, it tends to hamper the workings of the Holy Spirit in respect to this uniqueness. Happily, the reform of Church law gives every indication of becoming much less detailed.

In describing the nature and purpose of authority in the Church, we have at the same time been discussing its necessity. In God's plan the role of authority in the Church is one which cannot be dispensed with. Consequently, if we do not relate properly through obedience to Church authority we will never achieve the desired maturity in Christ.

Finally, we  make  this  observation.  The present-day Church needs to be protected against two different classes of people. First, the Church is harmed by that group who want authority-obedience to be exercised in exactly the same way as in the past. These people are failing to read the signs of the times properly. Secondly, the Church is harmed by that group who practically want to abolish all authority in the Church, or at least see no necessity for their individual conformity. Does this group really accept the Church as instituted by Christ?

At this point we briefly mention the religious state, since its members are called in a special way to the exercise of Christian obedience. In general, we can state that what has been posited concerning authority-obedience in the Church at large also holds true for authority-obedience in religious life. It is a question of intensification.

There are several points we wish to emphasize from our above discussion. First, if religious superiors are truly convinced that their exercise of authority is meant to promote the growth in Christ of their religious, they must realize that their authority cannot in all aspects be exercised as in the past. There must be added attention given to the fact that the religious grows in Christ when he or she is allowed to exercise initiative and responsibility as much as possible. Religious superiors must also realize that God has given each religious certain capacities and desires as regards one's work. These are one indication of God's will for an individual, as long as such factors are balanced by other manifestations of the divine will. Sometimes these manifestations of God's will are contradictory, and a prudent decision has to be made. Superiors must likewise be aware of another very important factor we mentioned above. The Holy Spirit always leads a person to further growth in Christ in a manner which is to some extent always different from His guidance of others. Again, this truth is rooted in the uniqueness of each person and each person's graces.

All this points to the necessity of a certain basic dialogue between superior and subject. How else will the superior fully know of the capacity of the religious for initiative and responsibility?  Or how will the superior know of the subject's interests, of how the Holy Spirit seems to be leading this individual?

We have a second point for emphasis. Just as the law of the Church for all her members should become more general, less detailed, and more rooted in the spirit of the gospel, so the renewed rules and constitutions for a religious order or congregation should be likewise conceived. The purpose is the same as pointed out for the Church at large. When rules for religious become too many and too detailed, those tend to thwart the action of the Holy Spirit within individuals.

If religious superiors have an obligation to govern according to the signs of the times, religious subjects have a corresponding duty to obey according to the same signs. The renewal in the Church is calling for a greater maturity on the part of Christians. Religious, then, have to realize they are called to a greater maturity in the practice of their obedience. For instance, they have to be willing to develop their initiative as much as possible, while at the same time having the disposition to bear with the suffering involved if obedience leads away from the particular line of action which initiative had taken.

The mature religious realizes also that as the external rules and structure of his life become less detailed and rigid, his sense of obedience will lead him to assume a greater personal responsibility for growth in Christ. For authority relaxes external structure in order to promote greater individual freedom and responsibility in spiritual growth. One is not therefore being truly obedient if he does not assume this responsibility.

The mature religious also realizes that the contemporary practice of obedience involves a certain tension. On the one hand religious superiors are allowing for increased initiative, freedom and responsibility on the part of subjects. On the other hand, the individual religious must realize that he is to assimilate these new dimensions according to the framework of community. This is not always easy. Increased opportunities for the exercise of freedom, responsibility and initiative can be abused, and the individual can come to prefer his misconceived self-fulfillment to the good of the religious community and to the good of the Church. After all, renewal in the concepts of authority and obedience is aimed at making a more Christ-like Christian, and therefore a more selfless one, one who thinks less and less of himself and his self-fulfillment, and, consequently, one who truly finds his life and fulfillment in a greater service of love rendered in Christ to God and man.

Acts 1: 6-9

Now having met together, they asked him, 'Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?' He replied, 'It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth's remotest end.'

                R. God created the world, seen and unseen,
                out of nothing.

God put the human man at the
                apex of creation –

Look at the order in what
                God created –

The devil tempted Eve and Eve sinned --
this brought disorder into the world.
Men want to be independent of God
                    without God.

Genesis Chapter 3

Now, the snake was the most subtle of all the wild animals that Yahweh God had made. It asked the woman, 'Did God really say you were not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?' The woman answered the snake, 'We may eat the fruit of the trees in the garden. But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, "You must not eat it, nor touch it, under pain of death." ' Then the snake said to the woman, 'No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.' The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. So they sewed fig-leaves together to make themselves loin-cloths.

The man and his wife heard the sound of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from Yahweh God among the trees of the garden. But Yahweh God called to the man. 'Where are you?' he asked. 'I heard the sound of you in the garden,' he replied. 'I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.' 'Who told you that you were naked?' he asked. 'Have you been eating from the tree I forbade you to eat?' The man replied, 'It was the woman you put with me; she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.' Then Yahweh God said to the woman, 'Why did you do that?' The woman replied, 'The snake tempted me and I ate.'

Then Yahweh God said to the snake, 'Because you have done this,

    Accursed be you
of all animals wild and tame!
On your belly you will go
and on dust you will feed
    as long as you live.
    I shall put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring and hers;
    it will bruise your head
and you will strike its heel.'

    To the woman he said:

I shall give you intense pain
        in childbearing,
you will give birth to your children
        in pain.
Your yearning will be for your husband,
    and he will dominate you.

To the man he said, 'Because you listened to the voice of your wife and ate from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat,

Accursed be the soil because of you!
Painfully will you get your food from it
    as long as you live.
It will yield you brambles and thistles,
as you eat the produce of the land.
By the sweat of your face

    will you earn you food,
until you return to the ground,
as you were taken from it.
    For dust you are
and to dust you shall return.

The man named his wife 'Eve' because she was the mother of all those who live. Yahweh God made tunics of skins for the man and his wife and clothed them. Then Yahweh God said, 'Now that the man has become like one of us in knowing good from evil, he must not be allowed to reach out his hand and pick from the tree of life too, and eat and live for ever!' So Yahweh God expelled him from the garden of Eden, to till the soil from which he had been taken. He banished the man, and in front of the garden of Eden he posted the great winged creatures and the fiery flashing sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.

                R. Jesus is the Light of the World –

                God created and said
                    "Let there be Light"

When a person is rooted in the
                    deadly sins, anger, jealousy,
                    envy - seeking dominance
                    for dominance sake, pride, lust,
slothfulness – they feel dark inside –
they don't feel good inside –
                    the light is dimmed because
Adam and Eve sinned and we
                    have original sin –

Ephesians 5: 14

                    Wake up, sleeper
                     rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.

                R. God calls and we respond –

                God called
                    "Let there be Light"

                There was the response
                    There was light –

                CALL

                    RESPONSE

                God first called us

John 3: 16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

                R. The Christian life considered as response to
                    God's love.

Galatians 2: 19-21

In fact, through the Law I am dead to the Law so that I can be alive to God. I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me. The life that I am now living, subject to the limitation of human nature, I am living in faith, faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not setting aside God's grace as of no value; it is merely that if saving justice comes through the Law, Christ died needlessly.

                R. Our response to God's love

 Matthew 22: 34-40

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees they got together and, to disconcert him, one of them put a question, 'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets also.'

                R. The 3 loves

                    Love of God
                    Love of Others
                    Love of Self

Excerpt from Response to God's Love  p. 91

Here, then, we see the profound interaction between the three awarenesses and loves—awareness and love of God, self, and neighbor.

                R. We will be judged on how we loved!

                God is love –

Our response to God's love who first
                    loved us.

We have a free will –

The Blue Books tell us of God's love

Jesus:  How, child, do I, Jesus, tell you I love you? You hold on to silly things when God is in your midst and is ardently loving you. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am writing to each precious child this day. I am on fire for love of you. I remain in the Eucharist to be with you with My ardent love. I did not want to leave My beloved ones at the Last Supper. I love you so, My dear and ardently loved children. I remain with you this day in the Blessed Sacrament, the same Jesus Who died a brutal death on the Cross.

Do you know I am truly present there? Do you know that God waits every day for you in the tabernacle? Do you comprehend even a minute amount of My love? You will never know of how I love you on earth.

I, Jesus, truly the Son of God, came to earth a man and suffered a brutal death for love of you. I love you so much! I remain with you this day. I long for your love. I want you to come and be with Me in front of the tabernacle. I wait, I yearn for you to come and whisper your love to Me. I am a person and I love you this day, with such an ardent on-fire love! No human could ever compare a speck to My love for you.

I wait, little ones, in the tabernacle. I wait for you to come and receive Me in Communion. I want you to want Me so much you cannot wait to come and receive Me. I want to be the love, the center of your life!

I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am writing to you this day. I want to possess your very soul and live in you. I have all you need, sweet ones. Oh, you are so blind! I long for your union with Me. I wrote the book of love. I instituted it, yet you go to the world for your love and do not even come to Me! Oh, I love you, little ones. Little ones, beloved of the Father, loved by the Holy Spirit, mothered by My very own mother! What more can I say? The rest is up to you!

I give you your will with such love and I want your love freely given. I am God. What do you think you could ever need that I do not give you? I am the Savior of this world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. I am waiting for you. I am longing for you. I am yearning for you. I am God. I have all you ever will need!

Surrender this life to Me. Pray My Prayer for Union with Me. I want to possess your soul and operate from your very being. I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am Who am. I died and rose on the third day.

Harken to My call, harken to My pleading. Spend your days in love with Me. Nothing matters unless it is rooted in Me and rooted in My love. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I love you with the tenderest love. I am waiting this day for just you, My beloved one. Come to Me for I am the tenderest of all hearts. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Ash Wednesday

Clearwater, Florida

Sing: All I Ask of You

R. This is one of the songs that – one of our handmaids died and we got to have the funeral in China, which was really wonderful. Jesus just told me to play this song and I always associate that with her. And she is the one that started the vestment shop here long ago. And she died 11 years ago. It's just such a gift that God really brings us into this life, and He has us have all these relationships with everybody, and at the same time He is watching us, and he had this plan for us to help in the work of redemption and that is a mighty gift, that God enlists our help in doing this, and that He wants us for all eternity to be in that beatific vision with Him, wrapped in the fullness of life, and in immense love. And none of us want to leave, it's kind of nice down here, and so we have to at a certain time, say good-bye. He brought us into the world, when He decided it was time for us to come, and He is going to take us out, and He intends us to help in the building of the Kingdom. And really that is what Lent is all about. It is about this renewal, it's about this dying to those ways, that are really rupturing relationships in our lives, relationships with others, not loving ourselves as we should. And of course, not loving God when we hurt others.

And we so start this Lenten Season right now with a reminder that we are here, really to be changed. So the Sunday readings, they are different, every cycle, and the one for Sunday is about Genesis and the first reading starts out with the fall, and then we see that Jesus is tempted, after 40 days of fasting, and then the Second Sunday we see that God is calling Abraham to help form His people and be the leader, because man is fallen, and God loves us so much, that He is going to see that we have this great opportunity to still be saved. So He calls Abraham to help form the people and to be the Father of His people.

And then in that Second Sunday of Lent in Cycle A, then we have the Gospel which is the Transfiguration, and so if we really meditate on the Transfiguration in those rosary mysteries, we see that He takes the Apostles up there and He is transfigured before them, and a voice from heaven comes and it says, 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him.' And we have to see ourselves as the sons of God and that we are to really be changed, more and more, into that image and likeness of God. The reading of Sunday, start's out with the fall and the other readings lead up to then, we have the woman at the well, and then the next Sunday we have the blind man, and then the next Sunday we have the raising of Lazarus from the dead by Jesus.

We also have the call of David, who is anointed by Samuel, and the setting up of Jesus coming to be our Savior. So as we go through Lent, we go through this salvation history of how man sinned, then the resurrection. We know that Jesus died and then he rose to give us this wonderful sharing in His life, which is going to eventually lead to the beatific vision with Him for all eternity, if we do what God has asked us to do, live according to His will, and if we love Him, then we will be with Him for all eternity, and so God does enlist our help.

It's not by helter-skelter that we came, in the year that we came, and that He is going to take us when He decided He is going to take us. But we are here with these talents and God has given to us this job, to be these people in the world to day, that are really the children of light, the children that are the sons of God that are important to this plan because we have a unique mission. And the world tells us, that you can figure things out for yourself and it's good to be independent. What it really is, is good to be submissive to the will of God, because He made us, not by accident, He made us and He has a plan for us, a purpose for our life, and that the more that we are in that line with His will, the more there is unity and harmony in our lives with others, and more that we oppose that will, the more that we have disharmony in our lives.

And God intends us to be this corporate people, that's what it is, the people of God, the people that are working and loving together to build the Kingdom. And so many times, we can be tempted by jealousies, and anger and envies and competitions and all that. And so in the Shepherds of Christ, the mission that God has given to us, is to spread this consecration that men will be in one mind and one heart. And being in one mind and one heart, that means, being in the mind of Jesus. If we are in the mind of Jesus, if we are in the Father's will, then there is not any bumping of heads, there is harmony, there is peace, there is love, there is joy, and then some day then because we lived to love and serve Him, we will have this great gift that God wants to give us in the beatific vision.

And so this song that He wanted me to play at Margaret's funeral, and she is the woman that made that vestment shop out there. It is just such a beautiful song and I can hear Jesus sing this and all the words that I have gotten in all the Blue Book writings, over and over again. I have to stop and really think and listen to what He is saying, because the devil is right there telling us, you know, that you are not as loved as you think you ought to be and it is just nuts. We need to be people tapped into the source of His love, that we are really the people that are going out and giving whatever it is in that witness God wants us to be, to others. The witness that Christ is a light that shines in the darkness, that's a sure thing.

Song: All I Ask of You

Song: All That We Have

R. This is like St. Ignatius Spiritual Exercises. Why do people do things for recognition, for power, for money?

Song: All That We Have

R. Sing it – with a grateful heart.

Song: All That We Have

R. We never really know when somebody is out there and lonesome too, but God intends us to be His eyes and His Heart and His hands in the world.

Song: All That We Have

R. This is not a song that I do a lot, but it's a song that's real pretty. It's called Anthem.

Song: Anthem

R. This is why we are here to grow in that Christ-life, to die to those things that are not like Jesus, to really see ourselves and our lives, putting on Christ, and that means that we have to pray for the grace to love, because love is a theological virtue, and we have to ask God for that grace. And when we are loving, it is because of God's grace. We cooperate with the grace, but it is because God has given us the grace, and we have to thank God for that grace that helps us to be more and more loving, and then say yes to it, because it is a great gift. Because that's why we are here, to love God, to love others as ourselves.

Song: Anthem

R. Let's do it again.

Song: Anthem

R. And who knew more about being a witness, and a light and a model for us, but the Virgin Mary who was conceived without sin, who was chosen by God to be the Mother of God, Mother of Jesus, and Mary said 'yes' to it all, she said 'yes' to all the sufferings, 'yes' to everything that God asked of her. And today Mary is still appearing here in the building, and still saying – spread that consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, that people will be in one mind and one heart with God. That is where our answers is at – unity – not the way the world is, where everybody can do their own thing, and they try to be better than everybody else. But it is in unity, it is about giving our hearts to love and trying to be all that God created us to be, which is dynamic, because He had a purpose and a plan for us, a unique plan, and nobody can contribute the way that we love, to God and to that plan. We all love uniquely, because God is all powerful. What a gift!

So as we think about today – it's Ash Wednesday – we want to think about the message that Mary gave, that goes with this site, and the message was, "I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my heart was in so much anguish for my little ones that would be lost forever." And she said after she had appeared to me all those times, for 2 1/2 years, she said, "I appear, I appear, I appear and I am ignored". And then Mary came and appeared here for 7 1/2 years, and there is not the people that really realize, that Mary really did appear to give this message, that we are suppose to be in one mind and one heart, and its the mind of God, to put on Christ, to love each other, to follow God's will, not plan out our own things, but to really spend that time with God, to ask Him – what do you want with me. And then to say yes. It might not be what you would like you to do, because He might have a bigger plan than you even think for yourself. We kind of sell ourselves short, because we just don't see ourselves through the eyes of God. Mary just followed His will and let Him be the operator of her life. Thank You God for the Virgin Mary. And thank You for this building and all the apparitions.

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping - playing

R. Do you have the Red Rosary Book? Do you know the Red Rosary Book went out the same day that Mary appeared here on the building, and I was told to put that Red Rosary Book out with the rainbow on the front, and they gave me the date of December 17th, that it would be released from the Publisher, and I thought oh, it will be late. Well, on December 17th, this book was released from the Publisher with the messages that were in it from the rosaries when Mary, and Jesus too, had appeared to me. And one of the things that is in this book, that is so beautiful is the Stations, and the Stations were so beautiful when Our Lord gave those to me. I was in front of the Blessed Sacrament and I heard Him say the Stations, and as He said the Stations, I just cried because it was just Him saying it, I could hardly, hardly write down what He was saying.

Stations of the Cross

February 22, 1995

1. Jesus Is Condemned to Death

Jesus:  My dear child, with angry hearts and hatred on their faces, they poked at Me and condemned Me to death. I stood so silent, My hands tied, in perfect peace, because I knew the Father's love. I knew the Father's Will. You too will stand your trials in perfect peace, the more you realize the immense love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have for you. Pray to the Spirit to transform you more and more into My image and, through this transformation, you will be led ever closer to the Father. Oh, how I love you!    end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

R. Could you put the Passion Movie on the screen?

2. They Give Jesus the Cross

Jesus: They gave Me a heavy cross, laden with the sins of the world. They placed it on My shoulder. It was so heavy I felt as if My shoulder would break. I ask you to carry little crosses, to experience little pains. I could not remove this cross from My shoulder. The weight was unbearable. It is through My suffering and death that you receive new life. It is through your sufferings this day that you will grow in your life with Me. Oh, child, I loved you so much that I took up the cross of salvation. I love you. Please realize that I am talking to you here. To My death I loved you. Oh, how I love you!    end of station

March 5, 2014 Rosary

R. You know my brother writes the homilies, and one of the things I saw in the homily that he had for Good Friday, and we have it in this book, is that you can really see how the sacrifice and suffering on one person's part, can bring life and blessings to another person. And what he brought up was like with parents, you know that they sacrifice, and a lot of times they suffer for their children, and then their children grow up and they have great blessings. And I thought that was really a beautiful thing that he said there, that this sacrifice and this sufferings that we made for our children really, really did bring down great blessings in their lives. So we can see how our sacrifices too can bring down blessings in other peoples lives.

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

3. Jesus Falls the First Time

Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could hardly walk. I held on to My cross for greatest love of you and in compliance with the Will of My Father. It became so hard to walk! The cross was so heavy! I fell. I fell and the cross fell on Me. They poked at Me, they struck Me, they demanded I get up. The pain from the instruments they used to poke Me and strike Me was so great! I somehow managed to get up.

When you fall under the weight of your cross, come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am no less present in the tabernacle and in the Eucharist than on the day I carried My cross. I wait with the same love that I had for you when I carried this cross and suffered such agony. Oh, how I love you!

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

4. Jesus and Mary Meet

Jesus: I saw the face of My beautiful Mother. She was weak, her face reddened and full of tears. I saw her tender heart, her love, her anguish, her pain. I saw My dear Mother Mary. My Heart was comforted by the sight of her, but torn by her suffering.

Mary: As I looked into the eyes of my beloved Son, I saw His love. His head, bleeding and wounded. His body weak. His clothes covered with blood. I looked into His eyes and I saw His love for you. I call out to you today. I appear today with a face full of anguish and tears. I appear to call you back to the love of my Son. See through my eyes, as I peer into His eyes, the love He has for you this day to give of Himself for you. Oh, He loves you so much, my little children. See through my eyes the love of my Son. Oh, how He loves you!

5. Simon of Cyrene Is Forced to Help Jesus Carry His Cross

Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could not move. My persecutors became angry and forced a man to help Me. The cross was so heavy the two of us could barely move it. How is your cross today? Does it seem so heavy you cannot go on? I am forever watching you. When you are suffering the greatest, I am very close to you. It is in immense suffering that you realize My great love for you. Pray for grace to do always the Father's Will. Pray for grace to grow in your knowledge and love of Me.   end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

6. Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus

Jesus: My face was covered with blood. From the crowd Veronica came forward with a cloth to wipe My face. On the cloth I gave to you an imprint of My bloodied face. This, My children, remains with you this day as a sign of My immense love for you. But more than any cloth, look beyond the visible consecrated host. I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, remain with you, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Eucharist this day, waiting and longing to be with you. Oh, how I love you!    end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

7. Jesus Falls the Second Time

Jesus: Oh, dear ones, the road became harder and harder to walk. The cross was becoming heavier, My body weaker and weaker. My shoulders and arms hurt so much! My head throbbed as I walked. The blood came from My body, from My head to My feet. I was covered with open wounds. I could not go any farther. I stumbled and fell. Again they poked at Me, only harder, and with such hatred they kicked Me. Such vileness in the hearts of men! My greatest agony was not the agonies of My body, but the agonies of My heart for the love I have for all My precious souls. I loved them so dearly. I loved those who persecuted Me. Oh, how I love you!   end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

R. You sing and I'll try to play.

8. Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem

Jesus: The women came to Me with their children, their tender hearts crying and wanting to comfort Me. I saw their love, their care. I saw the coldness of men's hearts for all time, the hatred, the anger, the sins, all the souls that, despite all of My sufferings and death, would be condemned to eternal damnation. I told the women to weep not for Me, but for themselves and their children. My greatest agonies were the agonies of My Most Sacred Heart. Oh, how I love you!    end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

9. Jesus Falls the Third Time

Jesus: I fell hard the third time. I was so weakened I could not go on. My body collapsed under the cross from such exhaustion! My child, My child, My greatest agonies were not the wounds to the body. They were the wounds I experienced to My heart. Do you know a little more now how I love you? It is in meditating on My Passion and death that you will realize My immense love for you. When you fall, when you struggle, I give you the grace to get up. I never give you more than you can handle. Your strength will come from Me. Come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am waiting for you this day. Oh, how I love you!    end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

10. Jesus Is Stripped of His Garments

Jesus: They took Me to the hill to crucify Me. They angrily stripped Me of My garments. They took off My clothes to whip Me. They had covered My bloody wounds with a dirty purple robe. Now, total surrender-they took off My clothes. I showed you the way to surrender, always complying with the Will of the Father. It is in living in His Will that you will have peace and joy, and life eternal some day. Oh, how I love you!    end of station

Song: At the Cross Her Station Keeping

11. They Nail Him to the Cross

R. See Mary as she holds the little Baby Jesus. See her as she washes His tender hands and feet. (R. Do you have the Song from Jesus Book?) See her now as she watches as they pound into those same hands and feet the gigantic nails that fix Jesus to the cross.

Mary:
Oh, my dear ones, my heart was torn in my chest as they nailed His hands and feet to the cross. I ask you this day to walk the Passion with me and see through my eyes the love He has for you. He truly was nailed to the cross.

Jesus:
They pounded the nails into My first hand, then they stretched My body and nailed My other hand. The blood poured from these wounds that went totally through My hands. My pain was so immense, but then they nailed My feet! You do not know what pain I suffered, My child. My children, My children, for each one of you I suffered this pain. Oh, how I loved you!
end of station

R. And there is a song in here, it's called See Through the Eyes of Mary

Song: See Through the Eyes of Mary

R. I want to pray for all of us in body, mind and soul and I want to pray for Fr. Ken, and I want to pray for Dan and pray for Betty and Sophie and Rosie, and pray for Gary and Mary Ellen and my brother, Jim, and pray for all the people that are sick that we promised we would pray for and people that have asked us to pray for them. And we want to pray for everybody on my list and Jerry's list and your list too, and all the other intentions that we have, we are praying for tonight, but especially for this healing that we all need in body, mind and soul. Amen.

So now we just did the 11th Station, so now we are on the big one, where Jesus died on the Cross.

12. Jesus Dies on the Cross

(Silence.)

R.
He hung for three agonizing hours on the cross against the darkened sky. His greatest agonies were not the agonies of His body, but those of His Heart for the great love He has for each and every soul.

Jesus:
I gave Myself to you, My dear ones. I gave My all. I hung with My arms spread in total surrender. My head was punctured; My hands and feet were nailed to the cross. I gave Myself to you. I give Myself to you this day in the Eucharist. I give Myself to you. I, God, give you Myself! What more do you want?

Song:
Oh, burning Heart, oh, Love divine, etc.

R.
They pierced His Heart with a lance and what flowed forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the Church, water for Baptism and blood for the Eucharist. His life, death and resurrection live on in the Church this day.

Song: A Song from Jesus

13. Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross and Placed in the Arms of His Mother

R. His totally lifeless body was placed in the arms of His most loving Mother. As she had held the little baby body in her arms, she now received His bloodied, bruised body in her arms. This is how He obeyed the Father's Will. Jesus gave His life for us. The Father gave His only Son because He loves us so much. Mary, His Mother, our Mother and the Mother of the Church, is forever by His side. See Jesus in the arms of His loving Mother under the cross. This is love.

Mary:
I held His lifeless body in my arms. See through my eyes the love He has for you this day. He gives Himself to you today in the Eucharist. He loves you so much!

Song: Little Baby Hands and Feet

14. Jesus Is Locked in the Tomb

R. His enemies rolled the stone up to the tomb and were pleased to have buried Jesus. Mary, outside the tomb, wept bitterly. The cold reality that He was dead! But death has no power over Jesus for on the third day He rose, triumphant, from the tomb! We are partakers in His divine life. Death has no power over Jesus. He is with us this day. He comes to bring us life to the full. He loves us so much!    end of station

March 5, 2014 Rosary

R. This Mary's Message was given in a rosary at Tom A.'s Farm on August 27, 1996. And as I sat on the hill over there and did the rosary, all of a sudden, it was like my throat was just like consumed with this, like it was sorrow, and I felt like I was ready to cry in my throat, and then Mary spoke this message. She was speaking in the rosary. And then on December the 12th, 1996, and this is all in Blue Book 12 and 13, and then on December 12th, of 1996, Our Lord told me to put that on a tape and put it out that day and then hand it out on December 13th Prayer Service the next day. And so then we did that, and Mary appeared 5 days later on the building here.

Message from the Tape Mary's Message

Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

end of Mary's Message

R. Maybe we could turn some of the lights out so you could see better. Turn the trees on and the lights out, and I can tell you the words to these songs.

Song: I Rocked Him as a Baby

R. Can you see that pretty good? So we've been really gifted in the Shepherds of Christ, that God has given to us so many gifts, especially this Movement, and all the Blue Books, and the apparitions, and all the writings. And He definitely is the Chief Shepherd of the Flock. This is a song that is really beautiful. It is called Because the Lord is My Shepherd.

Song: Because the Lord is My Shepherd

R. And so we are talking about the uniqueness with which God created us, and He really has, and there is nobody else that can contribute that love that God wants to give to the world through each and every one of us, and so He has called us by name and there is this song, and it is called By Name I Have Called You.

Song: By Name I Have Called You

R. Sorry, I'm really hitting the wrong notes.

R. One last song before we quit and this song is a song that we all need to sing and Pope John Paul II was big in this in telling us not to be afraid.

Song: Be Not Afraid

R. So we are going to do the rosary and we can leave this on and turn the lights out and you can take my mike and stuff in there if you don't mind.

R. . . . praying for healing since we started the retreat on the 2nd, and so I want to focus on what Our Lord asked us to pray for, which is healing of the Family Tree, and healing of our ancestors and then healing in our own lives, and healing of ourselves in body, mind and soul, and tell God that we are sorry for any of the sins that came through our ancestors. and we want to pray for all our grandchildren and anybody that is in our linage of children to come, and we want to put our family, present and future, in the Immaculate Heart of our Mother.

And so in the middle of all this, we are still praying for Jerry's garage. And I am praying especially for healing of Dan and Melanie and anybody that, you know, affects that situation, and praying for Betty, because she has something now, and Rosie and Sophie, and praying for Sheila and Jerry, and Sanja and me and John and Regina, Doris, Eileen and Lisa. And praying for all of you, especially the people that came here and the people that are listening on the radio. And then I got here, that we are praying for the Noes. We are praying for Kerry and Sue's family. We are praying for all of our families, and anybody that touches our families, and all the work that anybody is involved in, praying for the priests, the Church and the world.

I would like to pray for the situation over there in the Ukraine and Russia, spreading the blood of Jesus on everybody that we have prayed for, consecrating their hearts, casting the devil out, asking for a specially outpouring of the Holy Spirit, praying for all of our members and donors and all of their families and anybody that touches them. We are praying for the statue man and the people that do the statues, and the trip that we are going to have to try to get statues and then also us doing that here. We are praying for volunteers in China and Florida, and the sale of the statue, and Blue Books, Mary Ellen, Gary, Catherine, Blue Book 12, for everybody involved that is printing it, for Fr. Ken, who is so close to us and he found out he had cancer. Pray for Monsignor and pray for funds.

Pray for cover of the Blue Book and the whole thing, Blue Book 12. Pray for Ed's stuff and Tom's stuff. Pray for the two Don's. Pray for the hierarchy and Pope Francis, and hierarchy and Pope Francis supporting us, pray for the spread of the prayer chapters, pray for John's work, pray for the people we promised to pray for, and those who asked us to pray for them. Pray for the priests who help us, Fr. Joe, Fr. Mike, Fr. Jerry, Fr. Don, and there's a bunch of them, Fr. Cyprian, and pray for the priests getting Fr. Joe's book.

And tomorrow they have 8 volunteers coming to China to try to get the books to all the priests in California, so we want to pray for that. Pray for ones we just sent to Pennsylvania last week, about 3,000 priests. We really thank God for all the gifts that He has given to us, and we just want to really take this time in Lent to just be at peace, because we know that God loves us so much and we want to do His will and know that He has got a better plan for us than we have for ourselves.

So we tonight we are going to say the Sorrowful Mysteries, and we are starting with the Apostles Creed. In the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.   I believe in God etc.

For Pope Francis   Our Father

For Faith, Hope and Charity, an increase.   3 Hail Marys

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony of the Lord in the Garden

1. R. Like I said, the First Sunday of Lent starts out with the fall in the garden, and then how after Jesus fasted forty days, how the devil tried to tempt Him. And thinking about that, think about, God creating man in His image and likeness, and putting him in the garden, giving him all these gifts, like we have today, so many gifts, and then man is ungrateful and gives into the temptation of satan, like Adam and Eve did in the garden. Did we do the Our Father?

2. R. And God loves us so much, that He gives us a free will, but we can choose life or choose death.

3. R. Loving is an act of the will.

4. R. But we pray to God to give us the increase of faith, hope and love in this rosary, especially loving, that we will do the things that we do, because we want to be more like Jesus, and Jesus is love. We want to grow in our Christ-life. We want to be His witnesses in the world, and we want to, even though others might not be nice to us, we want to realize that God is operating in us, and we are not that sensitive, if we have that source which is God, then we can end up giving love to those that are unloving to us, and be that witness that God wants us to be.

5. R. And Jesus said to sing the song that He gave to me.

Song: A Song from Jesus

6. R. And as we meditate on this mystery of the rosary, let us meditate on Jesus in the garden, who knew everything that was going to happen to Him and He chose to go through that immense suffering, because of His love for us. Let us really think how loved we really are, that the Son of God came to this earth, He took on flesh and He died and He rose for us.

7. Jesus speaks and He says: I love you so much, to My death on the cross, I gave My blood for love of you. Focus on My love this night and all through Lent, that you will be the witness that I have called you to be in the world, the witness of My love.

8. R. But we can shy away from what Fr. Carter called 'the white heat of His love', because we really don't believe that we are that lovable, and yet, we were created out of love, by God the Father, to be loving and likened to God. And so we have to see ourselves as immensely lovable, and God loves us, even though we may have sinned, He loved us and He wants us to repent. He just loves us. All that He says in the Blue Books is true, that He just loves us and He is with us always.

9. Jesus: And I loved you so much, My precious child, that I sweat blood in the garden.

10. Sing: Ashes

R. And Judas was chosen by Jesus to be an Apostle, and yet Judas betrayed Him. And Judas betrayed Him and planned behind His back and Judas sold Him for 30 pieces of silver. And when it was done, Judas despaired and Judas hung himself.

R. There are consequences when we don't do the will of God.

Glory Be

R. And I want to pray for healing in body, mind and soul. Pray for myself and pray for all of you. I want to pray especially for Dan and for Betty and for Gary and Rose and Sophie. And I want to pray for all of us and all the people that we promised to pray for, and all the people we have been praying for these 4 days, especially Fr. Ken, my brother Jim, people you want to pray for.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. R. And we have a trip because of the statues, and a trip going back tomorrow, so I would like to pray for that.

And let us meditate on Jesus scourged at the Pillar. See Jesus there. And at any moment He could have stopped what they were doing to Him. Jesus was the Son of God, and yet He endured it, because He loves us so much.

2. R. I remember, there are only 2 Sorrowful Mysteries, I think Doris, in that Blue Book 13. And that is interesting, because there is Joyful, lots of reasons why God put that in there when He was going to have Mary appear here and then, that message on the image card was "My son Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. You have made money your God." So anyway, there is more Joyful in there. But one of the rosaries that was Sorrowful was November 13, 1996 and that was the second 13th, and it was out a long time.

Somebody was suppose to send all the rosaries from October 13th, to the prayer chapter members, and they didn't tell us. They just kind of kept it. They went to the priest and they said, it's really hard to get along with these people. I think God is calling me to go to the tabernacle, and just be by myself, and the priest said 'yes', that's probably the truth. And so then they didn't take the responsibility that they had, which was to send this out, and they didn't tell us.

And that's how the devil likes to work, he likes us to think that we can't do what God is calling us to do, and to find that comfort zone. I just know that Fr. Carter and the calling that God has given to me, and the people that have stood this calling in the Movement have gone through a lot of trials, and the main trials are really working in relationships with each others, sometimes. The devil wants us to think that we shouldn't hang in there, and then he is the only one that wins when God has called us to do something, if we have the idea to go to a comfort zone.

I remember what my brother said one Sunday in church, that you might be like that, where you do something like that, but that doesn't mean that the devil is going to let you alone either, just because you have removed yourself from what God's will was for you.

3. R. In that first reading, I think it is the second Sunday of Cycle A, the Lord is saying to Abraham, 'I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you'. When we are doing God's will, He really does help us and we have to make that our top priority. What is God's will, not what we are feeling, or what we are telling ourselves, but what is God's will.

4. R. And we know that it didn't feel good for Jesus, but He did God's will.

5. R. He didn't run, even though He knew in the garden, what He would endure, because in His Divine knowing, He knew every detail. He had so much anguish that He sweat blood. In all of His Godly Might, He could have broke those chains that bound Him, at the pillar, and He didn't do it. He stayed there and He endured the suffering because He knew it was God's will. And satan wants us to think that we should have a cushy little thing, and Jesus showed us that in the death, there is the resurrection, and in the dying to those ways in the suffering, that there are many blessings, that Fr. Joe said about the kids, that we may have sacrificed for, as they were growing up, we can see how they received many blessings from our sacrifices.

6. R. And Fr. Carter was such an example for us, I mean, he stood behind the messages all the way to the very end. Some people didn't support the messages in the Movement, because of that, but he never ever, ever winched from the messages. He stood behind the messages, he obeyed the messages, and when he suffered persecution he suffered persecution, but he didn't stop doing what God willed for him to do. And that's really why we are here today.

7. R. But we can see Judas, Judas was called to be an Apostle, one of the original twelve Apostles. And because of pride and greediness, he did what he did, and he said no to God. And look at the mess he was in, because when we oppose God's will we make a lot of disharmony for ourselves, because God does have a plan for our life.

8. R. And we can ask ourselves why did Eve want to be equal to God? Why did she succumb to that temptation of the devil, that she wanted to be equal to God, and she had all that she had. And then Adam had to make that choice, to either stand with Eve, or to do what God wanted, and he stood with Eve. And that is how it is, many times, when we give in to the things of the world, we are standing with the world, instead of standing on the side of Jesus.

9. R. And so we can think sometimes in some of our anguish that we are actually tied to a pillar, like we can't get out of it. We are in between a rock and a hard spot. Whenever we are that way, we always have to pray this rosary, and meditate on this mystery. Jesus was tied to the pillar and He endured it because it was the Father's will.

10. R. And we receive this sharing in His life because Jesus died and He rose on the third day. We receive the gift of the Church, we receive Jesus coming to us, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist. Adam and Eve sinned, but that's kind of what these Sundays in Lent show me, that right away, He called Abraham, He saw that Samuel anointed David, He came Himself and died and rose on the 3rd day for us.

The Crown of Thorns

R. It's really interesting how Jesus endured a crown of thorns, because somebody that is a King receives a gold crown, and it's jeweled, given great honor. And the Divine Almighty God, the Son of God came down here, and He showed us how they took a crown of thorns and pounded it into His head, and how they mocked Him as a King. And so we can think that we suffer a lot of persecution, or we shouldn't be suffering this, that or the other, by the people that are suppose to be Church people, or people that are suppose to be working with us, and then we can think about Jesus who actually, from those He loved, had a crown of thorns pounded into His head. Did we do the Our Father?

1. Hail Mary

2. Song: A Song from Jesus

3. Hail Mary

4. Song: Crown Him With Many Crowns

5. R. You know, I just read these Blue Books and I just keep hearing Jesus say, how much He waits for us, and He loves us and He wants us. And we really have to pick up the Blue Books and open them up and really believe what Jesus is saying to us, so that we can really know that love that He has for us, and be that source of love in the world, rather than being weak in our faith and not believing, and then not being all that we need to be, when He is calling us to be these instruments of love, because we are not believing ourselves, how much Jesus loves us and how much He is standing behind us.

6. R. I want to thank God for all that He has done for all of us, in coming to this earth, and going through this bitter passion, being crowned with thorns, and dying on the cross, and rising on the third day, so we could have this tremendous gift of the Eucharist, the Church, the priest. And I want to pray for all the priests, the Church and the world, that it will be the way that God wants it to be.

7. R. And pray for the healing that Jesus has asked us to pray for.

8. R. And pray for people to come to the Florida site because this is such a gift here.

9. Hail Mary
10. Hail Mary

The Carrying of the Cross

Jesus: How is your cross today? Do you want to put it down? As you meditate on this mystery of the rosary, meditate on the Stations that you prayed. Through all the suffering, I endured My bitter Passion all the way, to the Crucifixion and My death on the cross. I love you, I love you, I love you.

1. Jesus: I carried the cross on My back ladened with the sins of the world. I gave Myself for you, My child.

2. Jesus: Will you give yourself to Me this day? Will you come to the Eucharist and love Me?

3. Jesus: Will you say 'yes' to the calling that I have given to you, meditating on this mystery of how I said 'yes' to the Father's will. Despite all the suffering, I said 'yes'.

4. Jesus: I call you to give yourself to Me.

5. R. Dear Jesus, we want to pray for healing for ourselves and healing in our families, and healing for all the members of our family in body, mind and soul. Will You please hear our prayer, in healing for the people that we have prayed for, please, my Jesus?

6. Jesus: And I fell under the weight of the cross.

7. Jesus: And I got up and I went on, doing the will of the Father.

8. Jesus: I did not give up because I fell under the cross.

9. Jesus: I endured the suffering.

10. Jesus: I carried the cross. I fell. I got up, despite the fact that I fell.

Jesus is Crucified and Dies on the Cross

1. R. Jesus mounted the cross, His hands and feet were nailed. He said 'yes'.

2. R. And He died for our sins.

3. R. Jesus did the will of the Father, despite what He asked Him for. And we know that there is that scripture about Abraham, how he was asked to sacrifice his son, and he did not deny God what He asked for.

4. R. We ask God to be with us in all that we have prayed for in this whole retreat, for all the healing, for all the people we have prayed for.

5. R. And the trips that we have to do for the ministry.

6. R. Jesus said I thirst. He thirsts for souls. Look at how He is treated today.

7. R. He gives us Himself today in the Eucharist, and look how He is treated.

8. R. Let us take time today, praising Him and telling Him how much we love Him and being with Him.

9. Hail Mary

10. Jesus says: I come to you this day.

Hail Holy Queen

R. We want to pray for everything that we have been praying for. Thank You God. And we will do the retreat on the 10th through the 14th in China. We actually have an extra day. Fr. McCarthy wanted to come down there that day and say Mass. So we have Masses all those days and we want to pray for that and especially pray for this trip with the statues, and pray for funds that we get the funds that we need. We need to reprint Fr. Joe's book and we were trying to get the Parents and Children Spanish Book out, and the Blue Book 12 is at the printers. So we have, like I said, the Priestly Newsletter is Fr. Joe's book. We have 8 volunteers coming tomorrow to China. So we want to pray for all of these trips and pray all of these things and pray for all this healing, and pray for your needs and everything on Jerry's list and my list. And thank you all for coming for the 5th and we appreciate all your prayers. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series - Reflect on the Word - Cycle B —  The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series - Steadfast to the Son - Cycle A — The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul - Cycle C — In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 15.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word - Cycle B — At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts
Inspiring Homilies covering partial year of Cycle A by Fr. Joe Robinson

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts. - Cycle A (partial) Homilies by the Reverend Joe Robinson given at St. Boniface Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a tremendous honor Fr. Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual. The Shepherds of Christ has prayer chapters all over the world praying for the priests, the Church and the world. These prayers that Father Carter compiled in the summer of 1994 began this worldwide network of prayer. Currently the prayers are in eight languages with the Church’s Imprimatur. We have prayed daily for the priests, the Church, and the world since 1994. Associates are called to join prayer Chapters and help us circulate the newsletter centered on spreading devotion to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and helping to renew the Church through greater holiness. Please form a Prayer Chapter & order a Prayer Manual.

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #1 - CD. - Christ is Our Strength - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our-selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #2 - CD. - Suffering: A Source of Life - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. Fr. Carter knew suffering that year. His voice is so powerful as he read each Newsletter from his heart and soul. "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ–." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
