                R. We seek the vision of God – In baptism we receive
a sharing in God's life – our knowing and loving capacity is
elevated – we can know and love on a supernatural level.

Dear Holy Spirit Come and fill the hearts of the faithful.
Dear Holy Spirit we long that You fill our hearts with charity.
Dear Holy Spirit we long for Your gifts to perfect our soul.

Come Holy Spirit, Come to us –
Help us to reach for God's will –
Help us Holy Spirit to seek God's will –

Help us to love, dear Holy Spirit, to learn to do all our
actions for love, for when we love we are
                    most likened to God.

Come Holy Spirit, Come into our hearts –
Come Holy Spirit, Come fill us with Your love.

We seek the supernatural gifts in our soul –
We seek to love on a supernatural level as
God works more and more in the soul –
We are the soul waiting His favor –
                God is the Initiator

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

                R. We seek the gifts of the Holy Spirit
                    Counsel
                    Understanding –
                    Wisdom
                    Knowledge

We seek to know more on a supernatural level –

We want the world of the Divine to open to us –
so we can see through the eyes of God –
know on a supernatural level –
love on a supernatural level –

                Sing: Come Holy Ghost

                Sing: Veni Sancte Spiritus

    From the Lectionary

                        Pentecost Sequence

Come, Holy Spirit, come!
And from your celestial home
Shed a ray of light divine!

Come, Father of the poor!
Come, source of all our store!
    Come, within our bosoms shine!

You, of comforters the best;
You, the soul's most welcome guest;
    Sweet refreshment here below;

In our Labor, rest most sweet;
Grateful coolness in the heat;
Solace in the midst of woe.

O most blessed Light divine,
Shine within these hearts of yours,
    And our inmost being fill!

Where you are not, man has naught,
Nothing good in deed or thought,
Nothing free from taint of ill!

Heal our wounds, our strength renew;
On our dryness pour your dew;
    Wash the stains of guilt away;

Bend the stubborn heart and will;
Melt the frozen, warm the chill;
Guide the steps that go astray.

On the faithful, who adore
And confess you, evermore
    In your sev'nfold gift descend;

Give them virtue's sure reward;
Give them your salvation, Lord;
Give them joys that never end. Amen.
Alleluia.

                R. We seek the vision of God –
We must be led by God to know God –
                God is Divine –
We must be submissive to His touch to
                    be led by God –

                We walk by faith –

Man has a wounded human nature –

                God is all perfect –

We seek perfection in our soul –

We are the soul waiting God's favor –

Our vision is limitless – when we
seek to see God through the eyes of God –

We seek the gift of counsel, of understanding,
                    of wisdom.

We want the truth to be in us –

                God is absolute truth –

There is no deception in God

We know the slightest sin offends God.

We do not want to be unloving.

We seek the gifts, fruits and beatitudes
                    of the Holy Spirit.

We must be submissive to the touch of the Holy Spirit –

We must be led by the Holy Spirit in the world of
                    the SUPERNATURAL –

A man rigid and fixed and controlling in
his own ways is like a dead bolt
to blocking these gifts of the Holy Spirit –

The man who has the plan opposed to the will of God
                    has conflict in him
self all the time –

A man led by God is waiting God's favor –
He is open to the moving of Divine inspiration –

The world of the supernatural is perfection –

The Holy Spirit leads us in the truth –

                God is absolute truth –

All deception is horrific to us –

We seek God's purity and love and truth –

The man who speaks lies with his tongue –
who says one thing to serve satan –
will say another thing different as satan
manipulates him and the man gives
in as he allows satan to use him –

His ways are unpredictable – like the wind
                    that moves a leaf –
the man of deception may "willy-nilly"
move in any direction – which is
                    without right reasons and
the goal of eternal happiness –
He has a weak will or a diseased will
and does not control himself or
his actions are not disciplined but frivolous,
tossed around as he weakly gives in
like a coward being pushed by satan
to do his dirty work –

A man of virtue sees through the eyes of faith –
A man of virtue sees the vision of God, where
the man of rebellion against God's will
does not see through the eyes of God,
but hugs his own controlling plan
rooted in pride and anger and
                    envy, jealousy, lust – seeking
power for oneself in his actions –
making conflict in himself as the pride
becomes a hideous bad habit where
being above God and other men is
fueled by jealousy and envy toward
                    his brother.

This can lead to immense conflict in the
soul – stiffness – darkness and anger
                    for allowing oneself through their
own free will to choose to offend
                    God with unloving, hateful acts
against the Law of Loving God first
and being submissive to the will of God –

                    From the Prayer Manual

Holy Spirit Prayer

Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.

                R. We must be docile to the Holy Spirit to be led by
the Holy Spirit to know and seek God supernaturally –

The evil spirit leads the soul that is
dominated by power and pride and selfishness –
It becomes the way of thinking of that individual –
to operate in darkness and to be accustomed
to the darkness and to be familiar with conflict
in their soul and in their life.

A person who becomes accustomed to conflict
in their soul – can maliciously move
rapidly when left alone to darkness
and evil designs – if the ruling factor
they have lived by in bad habits, has been
                    malicious, unloving acts.

And the darkness is the way they choose like
an old friend in their heart and soul –
it is familiar to them –
the evil one acts in this deception,
tempting them and the darker their
heart has become in self love and
                    darkness against their neighbor, they
can chart a path of isolation –
not unity and allow the evil one
to direct them to that which is opposed
to the Law of Love given by God –

Come Holy Spirit Come and fill the hearts of the
                    faithful with Your love

                R. A house can be boarded up and that house
                    will not allow admittance.

Couple this with suspicion of the man
                    within and faulty reasoning.

It can soon become a dark house without
                    power and water –
                    the plumbing is broken
the lights are not on because he shuts
off power with the world –
he doesn't pay his bill –

His obsession is being alone and not
                    communicating with the world –
those in the world he does not trust –
nor is he open to anything, any more
                    CLOSED IN.

A man who seeks the Holy Spirit is open –

He is a man who opens his heart and is
docile to the Holy Spirit running
                    his life –

He seeks the gift of counsel –
                He seeks God –
He is ready to be taught –

He faces the unknown with certitude
for His director is God –
the Holy Spirit his guide –

He walks in truth and love

                R. He handles the difficult –
he doesn't put things off –

His guide is God's will –

                His life is lived under
                    God –

                God is the Master

His door is open to love, to
                    friendship, to trust

He sees his reflection in God –

Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.

                R. Come Holy Spirit Come fill the hearts of the
faithful with the fire of Your love

                Come Holy Spirit Come

The Holy Spirit works in us in love –

Come God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit fill our souls –

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are
    Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel,
    Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety
    and Fear of the Lord.

The fruits of the Holy Spirit are
    charity, joy, peace, patience,
    benignity (kindness), goodness,
    long-suffering, mildness,
    faith, modesty, continency,
    and chastity

Matthew 5: 3-12

How blessed are the poor in spirit:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
Blessed are the gentle:
they shall have the earth as inheritance.
Blessed are those who mourn:
they shall be comforted.
Blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for uprightness:
they shall have their fill.
Blessed are the merciful:
they shall have mercy shown them.
Blessed are the pure in heart:
they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers:
they shall be recognised
   as children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted
   in the cause of uprightness:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Blessed are you when people abuse you and persecute you and
speak all kinds of calumny against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven; this
is how they persecuted the prophets before you.

                R. Understanding helps us to grasp
                    the meaning of truths –

                Counsel gives us supernatural
                    prudence

Knowledge – we know the real
value of things in relation to God

Fortitude – we do the difficult
                    that are God's will –
