May 27, 2013 - Memorial Day

                R. In a few days we begin the month of the Sacred Heart.
                In imitation of the Sacred Heart, we cannot be
                afraid to love with warmth. We love
                according to God's will. It is important
                to learn to trust the Sacred Heart. We learn to
                trust in establishing relationships
                with others. We are trustworthy and
                true to those God has chosen in our
                lives to be in relationship. We ourselves
                must be truthful. We are called to give
                love and to learn to love deeply
                significant others in our hearts.
                Jesus shows us His Sacred Heart. We were
                created to have a heart like Jesus.

                    The world is teaching us to be afraid,
                not trust, not committed, not united,
                that people may be unsafe.

                    God has put significant others
                in our lives to trust – those under
                authority are to serve in love – to serve
                God, to help build the Kingdom of God.
                We live our vocation as God wants
                us to, not from fear or from
                wounds that were never healed.
                We are always asking God to help
                us to be converted more and more to
                have a heart like Him.

                    Mary called for Conversion
                at Fatima. Conversion and
                Reparation for our sins and the sins of
                the world are at the heart of the
                Fatima message.

                    We see the life of Jesus, how He
                suffered for our sins, how He
                took flesh and gave Himself for
                love of us.

                    God is calling us to be loving.
                Consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
                mean, we give ourselves to the Father's
                will as Jesus did, as Mary did, in
                love, in warmth, in sacrifice –
                The Father is always with us. We
                live to build the Kingdom of God. We are
                not just doers, we become more and
                more, Christ, living in the world,
                imitators of Christ.

                    We as members of the mystical
                body of Christ, live more and more
                this great gift. United we stand
                with others as members of the
                body. United we work together,
                in love, bearing fruit for the Kingdom of
                God. We aren't afraid to give ourselves
                in love, in our vocation, as God
                wants us to give ourselves.

                    Division, Selfishness, Disobeying
                God's will makes a negative destructive
                tearing down energy.

                    Serving God, being one with Him
                gives us greater life. Our strength
                is in Him. We have joy in our
                hearts – we don't live in a dark,
                dingy, basement, cold and damp,
                isolated because we are falsely
                informed by satan's fearful,
                isolated thinking, he wants us to
                have; Twisted thinking. People who
                lived in a war zone at home and
                had survival behavior need to
                change and recover to know
                our little heaven on earth is found
                in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

                Peace. Satan wants a person to
                stir the pot, start conflict,
                hurt their brothers, be selfish,
                think its unsafe to trust those
                God gave us to relate with, but
                we must seek to be true –
                We must seek to be trustworthy –
                We must seek to be like Jesus and Mary
                    as God the Father wants us to be –

Jesus said
"Peace I leave with you"

Jesus said this after He died and
rose –

                Jesus wants us to build relationships
                    in love –
                    - to communicate in truth and
                        love with those He has
                        called us to work with
                        and serve.
                    - to be committed in our
                        vocation as God the
                        Father wants.
                    - never to work against
                        another's vocation for
                        evil-possessive, slavishly –
                        dependent ways of trying
                        to control and manipulate
                        others for our selfishness.
                    - to be obedient to God's will in love.

R. Christians are to be imitators of Christ.

God is love.

                We discipline ourselves.
                We love to serve Christ –
                    we don't hold back
                    we don't give affections we
                        are not to give –
                We love in the Heart of Jesus –
                    giving ourselves to others
                    in work and love to serve God.

It's not hurting others in relationships,
holding back,

                It is being like Jesus, not stiff, loving
                    to serve God –
                    genuinely caring for the spiritual
                        life of the other –

It is not relationships that lead to
being too close and sinning –

It's loving to work with others in
the building of the Kingdom of God –

                This understanding of loving is
                    particularly important to
                    those called to virginity
                    in the Church.

We live to serve God.
God is our spouse –

                We want to do all that God wants
                    to learn to relate according
                    to God's will, in the building
                    of the Kingdom of God.

                We need to work together, pray together,
                    respect authority – in the vocation
                    in religious life – God has
                    called us to.

Working as a body.

Loving to serve Christ.

Being a loving person, building
the Kingdom of God.

                    We are to live, to sing praise to God,
                to pray from the heart, not be stiff
                and rigid.

                    God wants us to be like Him.
                Imitators of Christ. Religious
                are the Spouse of Jesus.

                    We are to have a disciplined will
                to obey authority – to obey God's will,
                to be self - disciplined. To seek
                peace and joy in serving God with
                a holy - loving - heart likened
                to Jesus and Mary. We were made human
                beings – we are to be warm
                and kind to each other – not rigid
                and cold and uncaring and
                unfeeling.

                    Christ loved with a human
                warmth. We are to love others
                with our human hearts.
                Jesus calls us to sing – to praise
                Him openly, to love Him so much
                we want to sing about Him.
                God calls for gratitude for the
                wondrous gifts He has given
                us. God commands us to love
                our neighbor, as ourselves.
                Christ loved warmly, sensitively.
                Christ gave Himself, His last breathe
                    for love of us.

God commands us to love Him.

                That means loving God's will not
                    opposing God's will –
                    Study God's Plan and molding
                        our lives to God's Plan –
                        loving His Plan, seeking
                        His Plan – not rejecting
                        it.

God calls us to love Him and love
our brothers.

Christ's Heart is the symbol of
love –

Living our lives to give as
God wants us to in love –

Christ's Heart is symbol of His
love for us.

Song: In My Heart

R. Jesus desires our love in return.

We serve God because we love Him
so much.

We give God our heart in consecration –

Jesus shows us His Heart –
symbol of His interior life.

We are to put on Christ –
be imitators of Christ –

This imitation comes from love
of God – from within us –

Not talking about love only.

Being transformed into loving,
like Jesus –

It is not for show, so others think
we are nice –

It is us.

We are as St. Paul says

Galatians 2: 19-20

...I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

                R. We are transformed –
                We are converted –
                We are imitators of Christ!

Our transformation is rooted in Him –
rooted in the life of grace!!

We interiorly put on Christ.

                The incarnation goes on in us as
                    we give ourselves to the
                    Immaculate Heart of Mary and
                    the Holy Spirit performs
                    His marvelous wonder on our
                    hearts –

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

                R. Consecration is a complete gift
                    of oneself to Christ –
                    to be one in Christ –

Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

"Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

"Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock."

                R. We pray to God for this proper disposition
                    in our hearts, we must be
                    willing to change our hearts,
                    ask God to help us live this
                    life of Consecration –
                    Ask God to remove our
                        defects of character –

We seek to live according to God's will
in love and have the grace to do it –

We give ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

                We conform our will to the desires
                    of the Sacred Heart – loving the
                    devotion – loving the Litanies –
                    loving the promises –
                    loving images of our beloved –

                Devotion to the Sacred Heart helps us to be
                    more perfected as our heavenly
                    Father is perfect

Matthew 5: 48

...You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.’

At that time Jesus exclaimed, 'I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children.

                R. God deserves our love – In loving
                the Sacred Heart we are giving to God what He
                deserves. God the Father created us
                with the purpose to love and be loved.
                When we fill ourselves with sin
                we move further and further away
                from God, His will for us and
                this opposition to God's will makes
                us blind and angry.

We were created – the creatures of
God to love

Created in image and likeness
of God –

                Because our sins and the sins of
                the world we need to make reparation
                to God for offending Him –

Reparation is at the heart of the Fatima
message –

                    We have a duty to make reparation –
                        to help make amends
                        to God due to our sins and
                        sins of the human race –

Our sins have offended God –

                It is just we make reparation –
                    we do penance –
                    we have violated the Divine
                        order –

We bring to His Heart our love and comfort
by devotion to the Sacred Heart.

                    Christ is our Savior –
                    He died for us –
                    He is the Redeemer –

                We show Christ, by making
                    reparation – we are sorry
                    for offending God, a good God,
                    worthy of all our love!

                We are to beg for His grace to
                    be showered on us for
                    our lives, for our
                    eternal destiny.

                We unite our lives, as members of
                the mystical body of Christ, to
                all the Masses going on around
                the world.

                The Mass the sacrifice of Calvary,
                sacramentally made present.
                We unite our suffering and joys
                to Christ's sufferings –

We want grace to be outpoured
on the world and the Church.

                We live His life, death, and
                    resurrection in our lives –
                    Consecrated to Their Two Hearts.

Living in God's will in love.

                Jesus: This is the desire of My Heart!
                    This is My Movement!
                    This is My message.

A Burning Heart I give you

SORROWFUL MYSTERIES

Agony in the garden

    Jesus:

    1. I loved you so much I gave Myself for you.
    2. You do not fully comprehend how real I am.
    3. You wander a barren desert.
    4. You make this world your God.
    5. This is My Mission to help bring about the Reign of My Heart.
    6. Look at My red rosary, think of the drops of red Blood I shed in the garden for you.
    7. Blood coming from My pores.
    8. Blood mixed with water.
    9. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
    10. I give you such dignity - you do not comprehend.

Scourging at the Pillar

    Jesus:

    1. I was whipped for your sins of hatred and disharmony, the stubborn ways you act that come from deep in your heart.
    2. Look at My red rosary, think of My Precious Blood I shed for you.
    3. My Heart is an endless furnace of love.
    4. The men were full of hatred in their hearts, they whipped Me and I loved them so much.
    5. I love the souls today that laugh at Me and make fun of Jesus, fun of My Name, that raise themselves indignantly over Me.
    6. They whip Me today, the way they treat Me.
    7. They tear My Flesh.
    8. My Heart beats for My beloved ones.
    9. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
    10. Look at the picture of My Heart on Blue Book II - It is a furnace of endless love.

Crowning with Thorns

    Jesus:

    1. In this month of the Sacred Heart spend time reading My personal love letters to you in My Blue Books.
    2. Hear Me whisper My gentle words of love.
    3. See My red Blood pour down My cheeks from the thorns. Look at the red rosary, think how much I love you. Carry it with you. Look at My picture, think of My deep love. Let My Sacred Heart remind you of My burning love.
    4. Look at My Mother's picture on the building. God loves you so much, He gave you this gift of Mary on the building. Are you grateful?
    5. See My pierced head.
    6. See the Blood on My cheek.
    7. See the Consecrated Host in the Mass
    8. See My Blood poured out for you.
    9. Gaze upon the Exposed Eucharist.
    10. I am there, I remain with you in such love.

Carrying of the Cross

    Jesus:

    1. A heavy cross I carried on My back.
    2. Why do you think you should not suffer?
    3. My Blood was red, My Heart is a symbol of My great love.
    4. My walk to Calvary was painful.
    5. I paid the price for the sins of today.
    6. Do you have to go with the world? Quit watching the filthy movies and the dirt on television.
    7. It hurts My Heart to see you won't take a stand for Me.
    8. Don't visit places where people are sinning. It hurts My Heart that you do that.
    9. My Heart bleeds when you say yes when you mean no, and no when you mean yes. Don't confuse matters, that is from Satan. Tell the truth.
    10. I called you to be an Apostle of My Sacred Heart. Will you serve Me?

Crucifixion

    Jesus:

    1. My dear soul, I love you to say to Me when receiving the Eucharist, "I scarce can breathe when You come into Me."
    2. My dear soul, I do love you so, so much, see My red Blood shed for you.
    3. My dear soul, see My bleeding hands and feet.
    4. My dear soul, look at the crucifix.
    5. My dear soul, the most important thing you do everyday is going to Mass and receiving Me.
    6. My dear soul, tell others of the gift of Myself in the Eucharist.
    7. My dear soul, do you like favors, ice cream, candy? My dear soul, I give you Myself, I am the Son of God.
    8. My dear soul, during this month of the Sacred Heart, pray this rosary, look at My red rosary, think of My drops of Blood. Oh My soul, it is Blood I shed for you.

    9. Unite to the Mass at every moment. Feel united as a body.

    10. My dear soul, My Mass is a gift I give to you. Love your priests, pray for them, the Church and the world. Oh My dear soul, the more you do for Me the more you will unite to Me. I am the Chief Shepherd of the Flock, I give My prayers to you. I will give the greatest graces to anyone who says My prayers and promotes My prayers. Churches that have prayer chapters, even small, will experience the greatest grace. They will turn into little cities of light, run by Me to give honor to Me and devotion to My Eucharistic Heart. I will bless abundantly all churches which have prayer chapters. In this month of June, the month of My Sacred Heart, I implore you to spread My prayer chapters. This is My plan to help enormously to renew the Church and the world.

I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Chief Shepherd of the Flock. My Heart is on fire for love of you, I loved you to My death on the cross. What did I think of on the cross? I thought of you. I knew you by name, I gave Myself as a sacrifice for you. Oh I love you, I am the Sacred Heart, I love you so much. My Heart is a burning furnace of love.
