Sorrowful MotherMary's Message
From the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

                Readings Today

Sirach 27: 30 - 28: 7

Resentment and anger, these are foul things too,
and a sinner is a master at them both.
Whoever exacts vengeance will experience the vengeance of the Lord,
who keeps strict account of sin.
Pardon your neighbour any wrongs done to you,
and when you pray, your sins will be forgiven.
If anyone nurses anger against another,
can one then demand compassion from the Lord?
Showing no pity for someone like oneself,
can one then plead for one's own sins?
Mere creature of flesh, yet cherishing resentment! —
who will forgive one for sinning?
Remember the last things, and stop hating,
corruption and death, and be faithful to the commandments.
Remember the commandments, and do not bear your fellow ill-will,
remember the covenant of the Most High, and ignore the offence.

Psalm 103: 1-4, 9-12

Bless Yahweh, my soul,
from the depths of my being, his holy name;
bless Yahweh, my soul,
never forget all his acts of kindness.

He forgives all your offences,
cures all your diseases,
he redeems your life from the abyss,
crowns you with faithful love and tenderness;

his indignation does not last for ever,
nor his resentment remain for all time;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve,
nor repay us as befits our offences.

As the height of heaven above earth,
so strong is his faithful love for those who fear him.
As the distance of east from west,
so far from us does he put our faults.

Romans 14: 7-9

For none of us lives for himself and none of us dies for himself; while we are alive, we are living for the Lord, and when we die, we die for the Lord: and so, alive or dead, we belong to the Lord. It was for this purpose that Christ both died and came to life again: so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.

Matthew 18: 21-35

Then Peter went up to him and said, ‘Lord, how often must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As often as seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘Not seven, I tell you, but seventy–seven times.

Parable of the unforgiving debtor

‘And so the kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king who decided to settle his accounts with his servants. When the reckoning began, they brought him a man who owed ten thousand talents; he had no means of paying, so his master gave orders that he should be sold, together with his wife and children and all his possessions, to meet the debt. At this, the servant threw himself down at his master’s feet, with the words, "Be patient with me and I will pay the whole sum." And the servant’s master felt so sorry for him that he let him go and cancelled the debt. Now as this servant went out, he happened to meet a fellow–servant who owed him one hundred denarii; and he seized him by the throat and began to throttle him, saying, "Pay what you owe me." His fellow–servant fell at his feet and appealed to him, saying, "Be patient with me and I will pay you." But the other would not agree; on the contrary, he had him thrown into prison till he should pay the debt. His fellow–servants were deeply distressed when they saw what had happened, and they went to their master and reported the whole affair to him. Then the master sent for the man and said to him, "You wicked servant, I cancelled all that debt of yours when you appealed to me. Were you not bound, then, to have pity on your fellow–servant just as I had pity on you?" And in his anger the master handed him over to the torturers till he should pay all his debt. And that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart.’

24th Sunday in Ordinary Time

September 16, 2007

INTRODUCTION – Our first reading (Exodus 32,7-11, 13-14) takes us back to the time of Moses, about 1300 years before Christ. The people of Israel were slaves who had just escaped from Egypt through God’s power and Moses’ leadership. God had just made them his people at Mt. Sinai through a covenant in which they pledged to honor Yahweh as their only God. God then called Moses to the top of Mt. Sinai to speak further with him. With their leader out of sight, the people got into trouble. Probably following the customs of the Egyptians, they tried to represent their God in animal form and they fashioned for themselves a golden calf. This is where our first reading begins. God is angry with his people. Notice, in speaking to Moses, he calls them “your people.” Moses becomes an intercessor for the people and “convinces” God to be forgiving. His prayer displays total unselfishness. God, of course, forgives them. In the second reading we hear St. Paul describe what a sinful person he once was and how God was merciful to him (1 Tim, 1,12-17). Jesus gives us three beautiful parables on forgiveness in today’s gospel (Lk. 15,1-32).

HOMILY – The criminal was being led to the courtroom by the bailiff. On the way the criminal asked if the judge was a tough one. The bailiff said “yes, he’s as tough as Pontius Pilate.” The criminal said “Was this Pilate judge tough? I ain’t never heard of him since I ain’t from this area.”

Gratefully our Lord is not as tough on us as we were on him when he was accused before Pilate. Our readings today are about God’s forgiveness. St. Paul tells us today “You can depend on this as worthy of full acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” We have just heard three parables about God’s forgiveness. The first and second are very similar (about the good shepherd who seeks for the one lost sheep and the woman who seeks for the one lost coin). They tell us each and every one of us are important to God. God is not ready to say “I have so many people who believe in me and love me that this one or that one who doesn’t isn’t all that important.” Each of us is important and is loved.

Then there is the story of the prodigal son. I think it is a magnificent description of the divine-human dynamic. Some people may find the story offensive and feel it is unfair as the elder son did. I often think, if God were to stick by what is fair and give all of us what we deserve, we would all be in trouble. I’m grateful for a God whose sense of love outweighs his sense of fairness. The story shows us that God’s mercy is always there for us, but it depends on us as to whether we receive it. If we have moved away from God, God’s mercy cannot reach us until we recognize where we are and “come to our senses” as the young man in today’s gospel. The young man had to make a 180-degree turnaround. Notice he came home intending to be only a servant, a hired hand, but he was fully restored to his father’s home and his father’s love (less his inheritance which was already gone by this time).

I would like to mention another aspect of forgiveness between God and ourselves. Sometimes in life we have to forgive God. Terrible things happen in people’s lives; that’s part of being human. But sometimes people blame God for it and they spend many years angry at God because of what happened.

As with any anger or resentment, if we carry it around for long, it only eats us up inside. At times it may be understandable, but even then it does no good to hang on to it. It will only drag us down and destroy our peace of mind. The only thing any of us can do when we have questions about why things happen, or even when we get angry about things, is to reaffirm our faith that God is in charge and knows what he’s doing. We have to trust that he loves us. Meditating on the cross can help us do that.

To sum all this up, we must be patient with God and trust him. Thankfully he is patient with us. If life takes us in the wrong direction, if we get lost, God will seek us out and take us back. But we have to choose not to stay lost and in humility head back home. The homecoming will be something to celebrate.

                (1) Remembrance of 2001, September 11

                    Forgiveness —
Reconcile 2 values we hold —
Our country is to always to protect its
                        citizens —

If a government does not protect its
citizens — what good is that?

                (2) We cannot lead our lives in
                    anger, retaliation, bitterness.
We do the best we can to reconcile
                    these 2 values —
                    Our most important rule is
                        the rule of love —

                    Our constant prayer is
"...Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be
done on earth as it is in
                        heaven."

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, life.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Sirach 36: 18-19

The stomach takes in all kinds of food,
but some foods are better than others.
As the palate discerns the flavour of game,
so a shrewd listener detects lying words.

Luke 14: 25-33

Great crowds accompanied him on his way and he turned and spoke to them. ‘Anyone who comes to me without hating father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes and his own life too, cannot be my disciple. No one who does not carry his cross and come after me can be my disciple.

‘And indeed, which of you here, intending to build a tower, would not first sit down and work out the cost to see if he had enough to complete it? Otherwise, if he laid the foundation and then found himself unable to finish the work, anyone who saw it would start making fun of him and saying, “Here is someone who started to build and was unable to finish.” Or again, what king marching to war against another king would not first sit down and consider whether with ten thousand men he could stand up to the other who was advancing against him with twenty thousand? If not, then while the other king was still a long way off, he would send envoys to sue for peace. So in the same way, none of you can be my disciple without giving up all that he owns.

The Birth of the Full Ministries
of the Shepherds of Christ

"I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

"Jesus has told us that Shepherds of Christ Ministries includes: the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, Shepherds of Christ Associates prayer chapters, various publications, including books, whatever else Our Lord directs us to undertake.

"As members of Shepherds of Christ Associates, you are an extremely important part of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. You have given great joy to the Heart of Jesus by responding to His invitation to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. As He draws you closer to His Heart and to His Mother's Heart as Associates members, He will fill you with an ever-increasing experience of His love, peace, and joy."

- From In the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Newsletter of Shepherds of Christ Associates
by Fr. Edward J. Carter S.J., Volume 1, No. 1, 1995. p. 2.

Luke 12: 35-40

‘See that you have your belts done up and your lamps lit. Be like people waiting for their master to return from the wedding feast, ready to open the door as soon as he comes and knocks. Blessed those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. In truth I tell you, he will do up his belt, sit them down at table and wait on them. It may be in the second watch that he comes, or in the third, but blessed are those servants if he finds them ready. You may be quite sure of this, that if the householder had known at what time the burglar would come, he would not have let anyone break through the wall of his house. You too must stand ready, because the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.’

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

    1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
    2. For the Pope.
    3. For all bishops of the world.
    4. For all priests.
    5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
    6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
    7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
    8. For all members of the human family.
    9. For all souls in purgatory.

This is an urgent request from the Good Shepherd. The flock will become one when they have given their hearts to Jesus and Mary. Encourage all priests to pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers. Your world will be lighted with great light as the people of this earth pray these prayers.

Luke 9: 57-62

As they travelled along they met a man on the road who said to him, ‘I will follow you wherever you go.’ Jesus answered, ‘Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.’

Another to whom he said, ‘Follow me,’ replied, ‘Let me go and bury my father first.’ But he answered, ‘Leave the dead to bury their dead; your duty is to go and spread the news of the kingdom of God.’

Another said, ‘I will follow you, sir, but first let me go and say good–bye to my people at home.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Once the hand is laid on the plough, no one who looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.’

Mary: My dear children, I give to you, my Son, Jesus, born in a stable in Bethlehem on Christmas morn. He is the Almighty God, the Light of the World.

I appear to you, my children, on a (former) bank in Florida. You have made money your god! Do you know how cold are your hearts? You turn away from my Son, Jesus, for your money. Your money is your god.

I am Mary, your Mother. I do not appear as I once appeared to you. I am asking you today to circulate my message given on a tape on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 12, 1996. Please circulate this tape now. Give it to as many people as you can. I am Mary, your Mother. Please circulate my Rosary Book.

Excerpt from the Red Rosary Book

July 5, 1994 6:30 p.m.

I was told to go to Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center to pray the rosary with my children. There were people in the front of the church, so we decided to pray the rosary in the back before the Sorrowful Mother statue. I had the following vision at the end of the rosary.

The statue of the Sorrowful Mother was lit up as if she had fire around her. The light was very bright. Her whole gown was all-white, but the statue's gown is blue and pink. She was all aglow. It looked like the glow that comes off of a fire. Her face kept changing but remained totally sorrowful-the sorrow of an older woman. She was in such pain and sorrow! (It was hard to explain how she looked-extremely pained!) Her face looked as though she was in such pain that she could hardly bear it.

The vision remained like this for about ten minutes, having begun during the last Hail Mary of the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary. She was holding something-it was all bright white-the brightest light ever!

Excerpt from July 5, 2011 Rosary

Transcribed live from a tape

Clearwater, Florida

At the end of the rosary:

Mary speaks and she says: Count the stars if you can. Can you my child, count the stars in the darkened night? Why can you not count the stars? Oh, you can't do it. Think of that my child. How many things you do not know that are impossible for you to know on your own. For God has given to you great insights in these two days of retreat, and great grace has been granted to you, if you will cooperate with the grace, that your hearts will know Jesus, more and more fully, that you will be transformed more and more, in the image of my Son Jesus. Do whatever He tells you, my child. Let Him work in your life. Do not try and control what is opposed to the will of the Father, for it will bring you great unhappiness.

It is in seeking the will of God. It is in wanting to study and to know your God. It is in coming as a docile, small child, ready to be taught, that you will have the greatest happiness in your life. And the light of Jesus will shine from you, and others will see His life in you, and they will be touched, because God will use you as His instrument to witness to His love in this world. The world belongs to God and you belong to God. Do not fight the plan of the Father, by trying to be willful, by running your life against what He has planned for you.

For you have been given great talents to make a contribution, on this earth that will last long after you are gone, if you do not fight the plan of the Father, but that if you are docile to His touch, trying to seek, to know all that God wants you to know, that you will live as God intended you to live, to further His Kingdom, to spread love to others, and to grow in your purity and love of God yourself. I am Mary, your spiritual Mother. My Spouse the Holy Spirit wants to fill you now with His wisdom, with His grace, with His love, with His gift of discernment, but you must be docile to His touch. Come to my Immaculate Heart and He will work in your lives forming you more and more in the image of Jesus.

Oh my precious little one, I watched my Son as He died - for you — out of love for you. He rose on the third day that you could share His life, that you could be filled more abundantly at every moment with His life, that you could live out the plan of the Father in your lives, and be at peace even in suffering. I am your Heavenly Mother and I speak to you now. I speak to you, really speak to you. Study this message. Study this message and your life will be a life of peace. I am the Queen of Peace. I am the Queen of the Universe. I am Our Lady of Clearwater, your Heavenly Mother. Now my children, pray for all your needs. Ask the Holy Spirit to pray for you, now, for what you need, and then say loudly - Amen. Amen.

Hail Mary

Sing: Come unto Me all who are weary and find rest for your soul etc.

Jesus: I am Jesus your Savior and I am with you in a special way this night. Stop now and focus on God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who fills your graced, baptized soul. Let go, little one. Know Our presence with you. For you do not walk alone. I am with you and I love you. To My death on the cross, I loved you, dear and sweet precious one. Gift of My Heavenly Father to this earth. Do not listen to satan. Pray to know the truth. The truth that God created you uniquely special, to make a contribution that goes far beyond your days on this earth. For He has made you great, for His purpose. He has created you and you belong to Him. Why would you fight this, for your own foolish whims, for the misery that you cause yourself when you oppose the Father's will — little sweet and dear loved ones.

Sing: I come to you with greatest love (A Song from Jesus)

Sing: I love you this day (God's Love)

Jesus: I give you Myself in the Eucharist. I long for you to come to Me, to be with Me. You who have given your lives to this service, be at peace. Know how much I love you. Do not be anxious, that what you convey to others is your joy at serving Me, at knowing My constant presence with you, of giving yourself to your Divine Bridegroom. I am the Bridegroom of your soul. Come to Me little sweet one.

And the sky was rolled back. It was rolled back, like the white cloth, rolled down the isle, for the bride to walk, to the bridegroom. Do not leave your bridegroom, betrayed at the altar of your life. Every day walk the isle, My precious bride, to My waiting arms and give your day and your life to Me. I long for you. I long to share every moment with you, that I am with you, around you, in you, and you are never alone.

Do not give into fear or going to the closet of fear and locking the door. When I knock on the door, there you are, with the old bad habits of fear. Or nurturing the old habits of 'poor me' and 'it's your fault'. Turn over your lives and your wills to God. Pray for the grace this night, the grace that I want to give to you, the healing grace that you will be My witness in this world, a light to the people in the market place, for they will see My light in you. They will know My love, and they will be touched as I operate through you.

Mary: Oh children, listen to Jesus. This is the building of the Two Hearts, and We are with you in a special way. Let the Holy Spirit fill you now. Be one with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Know that the Lady of Clearwater has never left this building, that I am here and that special graces are given to all who come, graces of healing, graces of being touched in their hearts, strength in the midst of adversity. Tremendous gifts are given to you from this place, from the statues with the glass. When you pray the Shepherds of Christ prayers you will know great healing in your homes, for your families and for yourself. Have faith, my little ones. I am your Mother, your spiritual Mother, Our Lady of Clearwater. The waters that were given to you, the Jesus Water and the Mary Water are special waters — waters of healing — waters to ward against satan. Use the waters wisely and know that God will grant to you special favors, for your faith, but your faith must increase. You must pray to God to increase your faith. I am Mary your Mother and I love you.

Hail Holy Queen

The Memorare

Mary: Come to the building, especially on the 5ths, and come and pray during the retreats. For your Heavenly Father wants you to help make reparation in praying, because the human race has majorly offended God. But your prayers weigh heavy in the heavenly courts. Be holy my chosen one. That the message that you give to others, is a message of love, that they will be touched by your holiness. And know that God is at work there. So they will seek Him and love Him, and find what they were created for - life in Him. I am your heavenly Mother, and I am here in this building. I am present with you now. I appear in great white light that you will know I have never left, and my Son, Jesus is here with you. Thank you for your prayers, for the human race. Pray with the prayers in China this month on retreat. I love you. I am your heavenly Mother. Your prayers weighed heavy in the courts of God. When you listen to the call of Jesus to pray here as He has requested, as the Heavenly Father has requested, as I have requested, and the prayers in China in the retreat ending on the 13th. Pray my little one, for you please your Heavenly Father greatly. I am Mary your Mother and I am with you now. Take a moment to just sit and feel this special time that God wants to touch your soul. I am Mary and I am with you. Jesus is with you. Pray now for your needs. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. God Bless America.

Please. Amen.

Sing: God Bless America

Sing: Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart. (refrain)

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series - Steadfast to the Son - Cycle A — The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul - Cycle C — In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word - Cycle B — At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts
Inspiring Homilies covering partial year of Cycle A by Fr. Joe Robinson

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts. - Cycle A (partial) Homilies by the Reverend Joe Robinson given at St. Boniface Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a tremendous honor Fr. Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #1 - CD. - Christ is Our Strength - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our-selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #2 - CD. - Suffering: A Source of Life - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. Fr. Carter knew suffering that year. His voice is so powerful as he read each Newsletter from his heart and soul. "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ..." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
