Almighty and Eternal God, Thou hast appointed Thine only-begotten Son the Redeemer of the world, and willed to be appeased by His Blood. Grant, we beseech Thee, that we may worthily adore this Price of our salvation, and through its power be safeguarded from the evils of this present life, so that we may rejoice in its fruits forever in Heaven. Through the same Christ Our Lord. R.  Amen.

        Soul of Christ

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from the side of Christ wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Permit me not to be separated from Thee
From the wicked foe defend me
at the hour of my death call me
and bid me come to Thee
That with Thy saints I may praise Thee
For ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer from St. Ignatius

Lord, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost;
To fight and not to heed the wounds;
To toil and not to seek for rest;
To labor and not to ask for any reward,
Save that of knowing
that I am doing your will.

Romans 8: 18-25

In my estimation, all that we suffer in the present time is nothing in comparison with the glory which is destined to be disclosed for us, for the whole creation is waiting with eagerness for the children of God to be revealed. It was not for its own purposes that creation had frustration imposed on it, but for the purposes of him who imposed it—with the intention that the whole creation itself might be freed from its slavery to corruption and brought into the same glorious freedom as the children of God. We are well aware that the whole creation, until this time, has been groaning in labour pains. And not only that: we too, who have the first–fruits of the Spirit, even we are groaning inside ourselves, waiting with eagerness for our bodies to be set free. In hope, we already have salvation; in hope, not visibly present, or we should not be hoping—nobody goes on hoping for something which is already visible. But having this hope for what we cannot yet see, we are able to wait for it with persevering confidence.

1 Corinthians 15: 20-28

In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

                R. Christ gave His all for
                    love of us

                Christ gave the last drop
                    of His Blood —
the Last Beat of His Heart

                God gives us marriage —
men and women live in love

                God gives us Himself

                    Religious are married to Jesus

                God is love

                God created us to love

                Friendship is one of God's
                    greatest gifts

                Our friendship should make
                    us grow more toward
                    the ideal self created
                    by God the Father

                We should not isolate from
                    friends

                God intended us to walk
                    hand-in-hand

What is a good friend —
                    list the qualities you
                    like

Trustworthy — they tell the truth

                Reliable

Caring for you, not self-centered —
                ..
                ..
                ..
                ..

                Our friendship should not
                    be egotistical but help
us to be all God intended
us to be — the ideal self
                    created by God

                Friendship allows us to live
                    the pascal mystery of
                    death - resurrection

                Death — Resurrection

                The rosary teaches us about
the lives of Jesus and Mary —

It is the life story of Jesus,
                    the Son of God who
came to earth our Savior —

                We feel the emotion of
                    knowing

John 3: 16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

                R. Life is in Him —

                Sing: Bread of Life

                R. We meditate on the love of Their
                    Two Hearts —

                We meditate on Jesus' love
                    given to us in becoming
man — taking on flesh —
                    The Divine God took on
                    a little baby body for
us — He loves us so much —

                God is love —

Jesus came to teach us love —

He came, He gave His all —

He lived, died and rose and ascended into heaven —

He gives to us a sharing in His life —

God created us in love —

He created us uniquely to bring
                    love to others and
to love Him, first, to love
others is giving love to God —

God has a special Plan for us —

God wants us to be conduits
                    of love —

Mary told us to pray the rosary —

                In the rosary we meditate
on God's Plan for us —

                We meditate on how awesome
                    it is that Christ took
flesh and came as a little
                    baby —

                    We meditate on Mary's love
                for the Father, her compliance
                to His will —

We meditate on the love in
                Mary's pure and Immaculate
                Heart —

Her saying "yes" to God's will —

When I saw Mary — I saw light,
                    beauty —
                    Mary's love makes Mary
                        so beautiful —

In the rosary we meditate on Mary
                    the perfect handmaid of
                    the Lord —

                Sing: Holy Is His Name

                R. We look at September feasts

on September 8th we celebrate the
                                            birthday of Mary

on September 12th The Holy Name of
                                            Mary

on September 15th The Feast of the
                                            Sorrowful Mother

                R. We look at the whole life
story — We feel the emotion of
knowing how God loves us —
We are so grateful for Mary
                our Immaculate Mother —
Jesus is the New Adam —
Mary is the New Eve —
The world needs to know Jesus'
love — Jesus, the Son of God,
                the Savior of the World
Jesus gave us this Song —

                Sing: A Song from Jesus

                R. So many do not love and know Jesus
when Jesus and Mary gave me
these Rosaries in Blue Book 6C,
Jesus and Mary appeared almost every
day as I received them —

The emotion is felt in our
                    hearts — meditating on the
Love of Their Two hearts —
We are told to tell the world
about this love to fill their
                    hungry souls created for God

God created us for love —

                God is love —

God wants us in heaven with
                    Him for all eternity —

It is our choice to love or
not love — to obey the
                    greatest commandment —

Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

God Calls Us to Love

I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have loved you. John 13: 34

‘Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7: 7

R. Dear Jesus, I stand at the door of Your Heart and knock to come in. I want entry - to be lost totally and entirely in Thee. I want to be sheltered inside of Your Heart and wrapped deeply in Your infinite love.

Jesus: I call you, child, to love. Love is rooted in Me. I gave My all for love of you. I held nothing back. Love gives freely for the good of the other. Love exists to draw the other closer to God. If your relationship with your brother in anyway separates you from God, it is not love.

Love is not haughty, love does not demand its own way, love exists to lead the other to closer union with Me. I loved you to My death. I gave to you My all! I ask you to give your all for your beloved brothers. In loving them, you are loving Me. I live in your brothers. How can you love Me who you do not see, if you do not love your brother who you see.

I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. I give that you will know Me and know how to love one another. Love your brothers as I have loved you. When they persecute you and holler every evil word against you, love them. This is My way - to lay down My life for My friends.

I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have loved you. John 13: 34

R. And to those who heeded His words, their lives were lived in peace and love and they experienced joy in their hearts, for true love brings peace and true love gives joy to the heart of the beholder. It is in loving that you receive, it is in giving that you are rendered to and it is in following the way of Christ that we are led into a life of everlasting happiness.

Jesus: I have not gone. I live with you this day. I am in your brothers. Love them as I have loved you.

R. And He sent them such blessings in such abundance and they knew a little of His unending mercy and love.

                R. Jesus is the teacher —
Jesus taught us on earth —
Jesus taught His way in His
                    simple birth —

                God the Father shows us
                    the gift in the star
                    over Jesus at birth —

Love — Our Savior has come as
                    Prophets foretold

                Jesus took Flesh —
Jesus born not as an earthly
King of gold and jewels —-
                    born in a stable
                    among the beasts of the
                        earth —

                Jesus taught in the Temple
                    at 12 —
                    Showing the doctors
                        His wisdom

The Father shows a sign in
                    the star over the stable
                    of Jesus

                At the Presentation we see
                    Simeon recognized Jesus —

Luke 2: 34-35

...‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too—so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.’

                R. Mary saw the sign from heaven
                    in the Annunciation —

                Elizabeth knew, her words
                    were —

Luke 1: 42-44

...‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy.

                R. Signs from heaven —
We get signs today of His
gifts as in the Eucharist —

                R. We get signs in the Church
                    and how it teaches
                    truth and is blessed

                R. We received this sign here

Mary by day

by night

Mary appeared
December 17, 1996

                R. The angel said

  Luke 1: 36-37

And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God

                R. We see the Holy Spirit at work —

   Luke 1: 35

The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God.

                R. At the Visitation
Mary was filled with the Holy Spirit
                        said the Magnificat —

Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.

                    R. Elizabeth was filled with
the Holy Spirit and said —

Luke 1: 42-45

...‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’

                R. Presentation

Simeon was led by the Holy Spirit

Luke 2: 25-32

Now in Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was an upright and devout man; he looked forward to the restoration of Israel and the Holy Spirit rested on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he had set eyes on the Christ of the Lord. Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    Now, Master, you are letting
        your servant go in peace
    as you promised;
for my eyes have seen the salvation
    which you have made ready
        in the sight of the nations;
a light of revelation for the gentiles
and glory for your people Israel.

                R. Pentecost

Acts 2: 1-4

When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

                R. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in
                    the graced baptized soul

The Holy Spirit moves in the members
                    if we are open —

The Holy Spirit is the soul of the Church —

We want that life of the Holy Spirit
to be in us — to fill
                    us with vibrancy —
                    life — God alive in
the members of the Church —

                We want Action — building
                    the Church —
                    renewing the Church —
                    loving the Church

We must surrender to His Plan —
Like little ones being taught —
                Jesus calls us child —
Jesus calls us little ones —

We live His life, death and
                    resurrection in our lives —

We carry His love in our heart —
We are instruments of love —
We are open — giving our
Hearts to Jesus and Mary praying the
                    rosary —
being united to God and each other
                    in love
Jesus and Mary give us these
                    Rosaries from Their
Hearts to live in love —

Red Rosary Book

Blue Rosary Book

Blue Book 5

Blue Book 6A

Blue Book 6B

                R. We want to live as Jesus showed
                    us to live —
                    following in His footsteps —

We are to model our lives after Jesus and Mary —
So we say the rosary —
We meditate on Their lives —

We pray to the Holy Spirit to enlighten us,
                    to give us wisdom —

                The rosary teaches us, children,
                    nursing home people,
                    parents, elderly about
                    Their lives of love —

                R. We can meditate on Their lives
                    with meaning and emotion —

                Meditate on the Christ
                    event through the life
                    on His loving Mother —

When Jesus was born the angels
                    said

Luke 2: 14

Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace for those he favors.

Sing: Hark the Harold Angels Sing

                R. When Jesus gave His farewell discourses to
                    the apostles He says
                    Peace I leave with you
                        My peace I give
                        to you

                God's way is peace —
                We pray at Mass —
                    Kiss of Peace

Jesus is at perfect peace —
. When Jesus was condemned to death —
. All through the passion —
. When He is dying on the cross —

Jesus surrendered to the Father's will —

God wants to operate in us —
He wants us to do God's will —

                These messages, these
                    Rosary Meditations —
tell us how to live —
tell us how to love —

God wants us to sell the books —
                Spread the good news about
                    the Church —

                Tell the hungry souls about
                    the Word
                    the Eucharist
                    the priest
                    prayer

We can spread these books all
                    over the world —

Our Lady said at Fatima to
                    pray the rosary —

We can miss the things God
                    puts right in front
                    of our face —

The devil wants us in a cage —
                    focused on ourselves

God has given us books for
                    hierarchy, for elderly,

Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

                R. We are to learn from His
                    teachings —
                    meditate on His life,
                        Mary's life in the
                        rosary —

We think of our baptism —

We see Jesus turn water into
                    wine at the Wedding of
                    Cana —

                We meditate on the miracles
                    of Jesus —

                We meditate on Mary's
                    intercession —

                We meditate on Jesus'
                    public life — how He
                    was so generous and
                    loving to all in His
                    work of building the Kingdom

                How Jesus worked miracles
                    and taught and healed —

                We remember the Sermon on
                    the Mount —

                We know Jesus operated
                    in love —
                    His message was love —
His message spreading the Kingdom of God —

We meditate on the Last Supper,
                    the Eucharist, the Priest —
                    the gift of sharing in
                    His life in baptism and
                    the feeding of that life
in His Word and the Eucharist —

                The Mass the Sacrifice of
                    Calvary, Sacramentally
                    made present —

                We meditate on the Sorrowful
                    Mysteries

                    Jesus' Agony —
                    Jesus' Love —
                    Jesus' Suffering
Jesus' obedience to His Father's will —

Think of the mystery of the
                    rosary —

                Think of mystery!

Grow in the mystical life —
                Reach for the stars!!

                Jesus was born under the
                    star —

Now we see Jesus as He
                    died for us on the
                    hill of Calvary —

The Rosary is the life of Jesus —

                The Christ event

Think of the gift of the
Love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus —

                Think of Mary His Mother

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

end of Mary's Message

                R. Jesus gave Himself to His
                    death on the cross —

                Jesus who is love —
Jesus who did the Father's will —

Sing: Jesus, Jesus the Light of the World

                R. Jesus came to serve —
Jesus came on bare wood —
                Jesus left hanging on bare
                    wood —

                Wood Created by God!

                Wood — the Carpenter —

Laid in a cradle of wood —

                Adam and Eve ate from
                    the tree —

Jesus laid in a cradle of
                    wood —

                Jesus hung
                    on the wood in the
                    crucifixion

                Meditate on the Mystery
                    of the Crucifixion

                Christ has died, Christ has
risen — Christ will come again —

                Mystery, Mystery, Mystery —

                Open up your hearts —
                Open your minds —

Do not give into satan —

Hearts need to be hearts of
love to be like Jesus —

                God is love —

He wants us to be soldiers
                    to spread the fire of
                    His love —

To live the life of resurrection —
To live the life of virtue —
To help bring Jesus to others
To be conduits of His love —
To go to the world and
                    spread love —

He wants us one in Him
                    so He can operate
                    in our hearts to
                    give love to others —

Jesus says: I beg you this day to
                    answer My call —

                R. Who are we that God loves
                    us so much?

                From Blue Book 6C

Dear Holy Spirit, we pray to you to open
our minds to help us to
                    understand more and more
                    the mysteries of the rosary,
                    to be drawn ever closer
to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary —

                We consecrate our hearts to
the Two Hearts of love —

We thank You for all the
                    gifts You have given
                    to us this day —

We praise You Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Galatians 2: 19-20

...I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

Jesus is the Might that will
                    power us if we give
                    ourselves to Him and
                    let go —

                From Blue Book 6C

                Jesus: I give you abundant
graces to do this work for Me.
                    You must surrender and
                    become one in Me —
                    As you operate, I operate
in you. Let go of fear —

                September 5, 2011 continues

Jesus: Don't fight our union —
Let go — do the Father's
                will — Love, trust and
do what the Father wants —
I give you Myself in the
                    Eucharist —

Through Him, With Him, In Him

Jesus: Surrender and let go —
                Let Me lift your heart
                    and soul —

                I want to have such
                    oneness with you —

                You must be pure —

                Focus on the marriage of
                    our souls —

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

                R. ONE IN HIM
                    ONE IN HIM

                Spiritual union

Jesus — You must rid yourself
                    of debris in your soul
                    to have this oneness with
                    Me — forgive — love —
                    do not ever give into
                    the deadly sins —

                    pride, greed, envy, wrath,
                    lust, gluttony, and sloth

                These drive you from
                    intimacy with Me

                From Blue Book 6C

                Jesus: My beautiful one —
                    Surrender and live in Me

Galatians 2: 19-20

...I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

                From Blue Book 6C

                Jesus: Give Me yourself
                    every breathe you
                    take

                My body was whipped for
                    you —

                Now I give you Myself
                    in the Holy Eucharist

                Death - Resurrection

                Mary's magnificat

Luke 1: 46-55

And Mary said:

My soul proclaims
    the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
    in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
    the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
    to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
    from their thrones
        and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
    sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
    of Israel his servant,
        mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
    he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.

                R. MYSTERY

                    Death  —  Resurrection

                    Pain  —  Joy

                    Suffering  —  Life

                God wants us to be
                    eternally happy
                    with Him in heaven

                Let go and LIVE

                God — Adorn our souls
                    with Virtue —

                Let us be more and
                    more your
                    holy spouse —
                    In love with you —
                    forever —

                We should leap for
                    joy to go to the
                    Eucharist —

We are to be a loving
                    family of God the Father

                United loving brothers and
                    sisters —

                Jesus loves us so much!

                He suffered for love
                    of us —

                He gives us a sharing
                    in His life in
                    baptism —

The Father, son and Holy Spirit live
                    in our graced
                    baptized soul

                Mystery —

Always love — God is love —

                Do we look with love
                    at our brothers —

                Jesus: You must come to
                My Heart and be filled
                with love —

                Surrender, Surrender,
                    Surrender

My love is Burning and on
                    fire for you —

                From Blue Book 6C

                March 21, 1995 excerpt

                R. I cannot have hate and anger
                    in my heart for any
man and unite with Jesus —
                    I must forgive.

I love you Jesus, so much. The
                    union with Him is so
                    beautiful. Nothing
                    compares to union with
                    the Almighty God! He said
                    exchange your hate and bitterness
in your heart for a heart of love.

I must forgive all men to be close to Him.

I am so miserable when I am not
                        close to Him —

                    I can't stand it!

                    No matter what anyone does
                        that is where they are,

I must see the beauty in them,
the love Jesus has for them
                        and move on.

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00 plus postage

Guiding Light homily series - Steadfast to the Son - Cycle A — The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul - Cycle C — In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Liturgical Year
$ 10.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word - Cycle B — At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts
Inspiring Homilies covering partial year of Cycle A by Fr. Joe Robinson
$ 5.00 plus postage

Guiding Light - The Word Alive in Our Hearts. - Cycle A (partial) Homilies by the Reverend Joe Robinson given at St. Boniface Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a tremendous honor Fr. Joe has allowed us to share these great gifts with you – for greater holiness and knowing more and more about God. $10

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #1 - CD. - Christ is Our Strength - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our-selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10

Priestly Newsletter - 2000 #2 - CD. - Suffering: A Source of Life - Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. Fr. Carter knew suffering that year. His voice is so powerful as he read each Newsletter from his heart and soul. "Every man has his own share in the redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering through which the redemption was accomplished. He is called to share in that suffering through which all human suffering has also been redeemed. In bringing about the redemption through suffering, Christ has also raised human suffering to the level of the redemption. Thus each man in his suffering can also become a sharer in the redemptive suffering of Christ..." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
