ask God to bless the United States for this election.

Say this election prayer Jesus gave me.

Pray all prayers through the intercession of
Our Lady of CLEAR – WATER.

Ask the Lady of CLEAR - WATER
to help with the blessed water.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace for this election, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray.

October 13, 1016

Dear Friend,

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

We send you Fr. Joe’s 10th book of homilies for your weekly use. We pray for you and the priests, the Church and the world in prayer chapters. We give our lives praying.

We need to pray united to the Mass, really united, as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ the head for this election and for our country, for the saving grace for this election and for our country.

The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present. I see like Lucia’s vision. Christ is celebrating Mass in the priest, Mary stands by the altar interceding. We see the priest, the host is raised, the precious blood of Jesus, we see Christ on the cross crucified above the priest, Mary by the altar interceding and we are deeply united to all the people, all the Masses going on around the world and we feel that unity with all gathered.

We give our hearts to Jesus and Mary and we are one in Their pure and Holy Hearts united to the Mass. And we have faith, we believe – the saving grace from God will be outpoured for our country, this election and the whole world.

This is how we must tell the people to pray in the United States now. Think of unity – (not division, not in our own private cubical). Say the Morning Offering, offering all we do, all day united to each other, united to the Mass going on now, around the world. We are in one mind and one heart in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary UNITED to the Mass praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, one with Jesus in the Mass, through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory.

This is a prayer I composed myself and have been praying. Would you like to pray it too, for the election?

                November 2, 2016 - All Souls Day

Wisdom 3: 1-9

But the souls of the upright are in the hands of God,
and no torment can touch them.
To the unenlightened, they appeared to die,
their departure was regarded as disaster,
their leaving us like annihilation;
but they are at peace.
If, as it seemed to us, they suffered punishment,
their hope was rich with immortality;
slight was their correction, great will their blessings be.
God was putting them to the test
and has proved them worthy to be with him;
he has tested them like gold in a furnace,
and accepted them as a perfect burnt offering.
At their time of visitation, they will shine out;
as sparks run through the stubble, so will they.
They will judge nations, rule over peoples,
and the Lord will be their king for ever.
Those who trust in him will understand the truth,
those who are faithful will live with him in love;
for grace and mercy await his holy ones,
and he intervenes on behalf of his chosen.

Psalm 23

Psalm Of David

Yahweh is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
In grassy meadows he lets me lie.

By tranquil streams he leads me

to restore my spirit.
He guides me in paths of saving justice
   as befits his name.

Even were I to walk in a ravine as dark as death
I should fear no danger, for you are at my side.
Your staff and your crook are there to soothe me.

You prepare a table for me
   under the eyes of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
   my cup brims over.

Kindness and faithful love pursue me
   every day of my life.
I make my home in the house of Yahweh
   for all time to come.

Romans 5: 5-11

and a hope which will not let us down, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. When we were still helpless, at the appointed time, Christ died for the godless. You could hardly find anyone ready to die even for someone upright; though it is just possible that, for a really good person, someone might undertake to die. So it is proof of God’s own love for us, that Christ died for us while we were still sinners. How much more can we be sure, therefore, that, now that we have been justified by his death, we shall be saved through him from the retribution of God. For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more can we be sure that, being now reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. What is more, we are filled with exultant trust in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have already gained our reconciliation.

John 6: 37-40

Everyone whom the Father gives me
   will come to me;
I will certainly not reject
anyone who comes to me,
because I have come from heaven,
not to do my own will,
but to do the will of him who sent me.
Now the will of him who sent me
is that I should lose nothing
of all that he has given to me,
but that I should raise it up
   on the last day.
It is my Father's will
that whoever sees the Son
   and believes in him
should have eternal life,
and that I should raise that person up
   on the last day.

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

It is in acceptance of all that is before you that you grow in your relationship with me.  Do not try to throw back the opportunity for grace you receive.

Child, I am ever by your side and I am ever teaching you.  Accept all things as happening from Him Who loves you.  Know that My hand is in everything you are experiencing.  I am vigilant and by your side.  Nothing happens to you that I have not consented to.

R. 100 Years before Christ

Greeks were running the whole Mediterranean Region

The Greeks insisted that people do what they wanted.

The Jews believed in one God –
they were being persecuted and killed –
This is significant because they were
being persecuted for their religion and
        they were asking
        why do good people suffer?

In view of foolish they seem to be
dead, but they are not –

They thought a fool was somebody
        that didn't believe in God.

Dorothy suffered. Fr. Joe went and visited her –
My friend Fr. Lammeier became more and more
sick and Fr. Joe couldn't get away to visit
    the sick as much.

Dorothy was devout and very close to God –

Many here are not Catholic, so why are we
    having this Mass.

We are having the Mass because of Dorothy.

2 Timothy 4: 6-8

As for me, my life is already being poured away as a libation, and the time has come for me to depart. I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith; all there is to come for me now is the crown of uprightness which the Lord, the upright judge, will give to me on that Day; and not only to me but to all those who have longed for his appearing.

R. Paul was anticipating his life was ended –
He says I fought the good fight –

This is like Dorothy, Dorothy fought the good fight.

John 14: 1-7

Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You trust in God, trust also in me.
        In my Father’s house
            there are many places to live in;
otherwise I would have told you.
I am going now to prepare a place for you,
        and after I have gone
            and prepared you a place,
I shall return to take you to myself,
so that you may be with me
        where I am.
        You know the way
to the place where I am going.

Thomas said, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus said:

I am the Way; I am Truth and Life.
No one can come to the Father
            except through me.
        If you know me,
you will know my Father too.
From this moment you know him
            and have seen him.

R. In the Gospel:

Jesus knew he would be tortured and
    arrested -
    The apostles were arguing –
        who was most important –

Jesus said "Do not let your hearts
        be troubled
        Have faith in God
        Have faith in Me –

I am going to get a place ready for
            you" –

Jesus did this for Dorothy – He
            took her to Himself –

This good bye is only temporary –

Let's pray for each other – we will all
have a turn to be where
    Dorothy is.

Fr. Joe ends with a story – he took his uncle
out to lunch at 85 – his uncle said
I have about 10 more years to live –
and he lived until 96. We never know
when the end will be. No more sickness,
wars, etc. – Let's pray for each other.

Given December 29, 2015

                R. Dear Heavenly Father I offer You this day
all my prayers, works, joys and
sufferings, my every heart beat in
union with the Holy Sacrifice of the
                Mass around the world,
so one with Jesus, in the Holy Spirit with
all the angels and saints and the souls
in purgatory. I pray for the priests,
                the Church and the world.

Today is the day the Lord has made, let
us rejoice and be glad in it.

Let the heavens sing and the earth be glad
a Savior is born to us.

Oh God the Father thank You for the gift of Your Son,
Jesus. Thank You for the Mass, the Sacrifice of
                Calvary sacramentally made present.

Dear God I offer all I do, all day
united to the Mass for the special
                intentions I now say –

What a gift it is to be able to go to Mass
and to receive Jesus, truly present in the
Eucharist. I long for Thee, my God.
I thirst to receive Thee. I desire to
be so united to You all day in everything
                I do.

Come to me Lord and possess my soul.
Come into my heart and open my heart
to Your presence and Your love.

A day without the Mass is a day
of great suffering. Help us always to
have holy priests. Help men to answer
the call You give them to be holy priests.
We pray for vocations of men to the
                priesthood.

We pray for vocations to the married life,
to be holy, to have holy families, to
realize God has called married men
and women to their vocation and to
be faithful to their vocation to God.

We pray for sisters and brothers in
religious life to be the faithful spouse
of Jesus. To live their vocation and
to take it seriously, to say 'yes' to
their vocation like Mary our Mother
taught us to say 'yes' – call – response.

We pray for others who have been
widowed and those in the single life
to live their vocation as God has
called them, being faithful and holy.

God has a plan for us. God has
called us to a vocation in life. The
                fourth commandment tells us that
children are to be obedient to their
parents and parents are to live
this vocation of being a parent
according to how God wants them
                to be.

Dear God we are thankful for
Your gifts to us. We are thankful
for life and our calling in life to
serve You and love You and witness
to You in our vocation – please
give us grace to live our vocation in
love. To be obedient to You and Your
commandments to us and to be faithful
                to our call in life.

Dear God we love You so much.
We are sorry for our sins and the
sins of the human race. Dear God
outpour Your grace upon us and
the Church and the world for men
to live according to Your holy will –
                Dear God help us.

We pray the Blood of Jesus is
spread on us, our families and the
whole Church and the whole world.

We cast the devil into the fires of
hell. We ask for a special outpouring
of the Holy Spirit on us, our families, the
Shepherds of Christ, the Church and the world.

We consecrate the human race to the
                Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart
in as far as we are able. We
consecrate the Church to the Sacred
                Heart and Immaculate Heart
in as far as we are able.

We pray that men make Jesus
the King and Center of their
                hearts and their lives.

                    Please send holy priests into
the harvest. We beg for Your help
God. We are the poor banished
children of Adam and Eve. Please help us.

Sing: Oh Lord Hear our prayer
                Sing: Come Holy Spirit
                Sing: Come Holy Ghost
                Sing: A Song from Jesus
                Sing: Come Holy Ghost
                Sing: Glory Be
                Sing: Our Father
                Sing: Hail Mary
                Sing: Litany to Mary
Sing: Litany to the Sacred Heart
                Sing: The Prayer for Union

God tells us in the Word to Rejoice –

God would not tell us to rejoice if
He did not want our hearts to
                    be happy –

What do we need to be happy?

We need to have God as our goal.
We need to live the Father's will in
                    love –

We need to respond to the call
God gives us in our vocation
                    and live our vocation
                    faithfully.

Rejoice in the Lord always –

We can control our own happiness
by how we look at life –

                An attitude of gratitude.

Dwelling in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary –
Fr. Carter called, our little heaven
                    on earth –

We are to live in the present moment.

God created us to love – to love
Him first and love our neighbor
                    as ourselves –

We need to work through unforgiveness
                    in our hearts –
                    forgiving even our parents
                    who may have died –

We need to be kind and compassionate
                    to others –

"Do unto others as you would
                    have them do unto you"

We need to make our requests known
                    to God, St. Paul says.

We pray that we live the Good News.

Pray to know God deeply in our
                    hearts –

Pray to know our place – to live
                    under God –

Pray for peace in accepting and
                    loving the vocation God
                    calls us to –

Pray for a loving attitude –

                Pray to reverence God –

Hold the gifts God has given to
                    us as sacred –
                    life is sacred –

The priest is to be respected –
The Holy Gospel - respected –
The Church is such a gift from God.

We need to respect and reverence God
and obey His holy will for us –

                We cling to God –

God is our Maser, Master of the Universe –

Let us lift our eyes to God –

Let us seek the plan of the
                heavenly Father and love
                Him with our whole heart,
                    our whole soul and our
                    whole being –

                Love unites our hearts –

Love of God and others according to
God's will brings peace and joy
                    to the heart.

God calls us to be in joy in
                pain and suffering. Jesus showed
us in the human condition we
                would suffer.

From the Priestly Newsletter 1995 - March/April

Reflections on Suffering

All of the above provides an occasion to offer various reflections on suffering:

  • The great tragedy concerning human suffering is not that there is so much of it. The real tragedy is that apparently so much of it is wasted. So much of it apparently is not coped with according to God’s will.

  • Suffering can beautifully expand or bitterly constrict the personality. It is our choice which prevails.

  • A willingness to suffer for a cause must accompany any true commitment.

  • A persistent suffering is the necessity of bearing with our limitations.

  • The fear of suffering is, for some people, one of the greatest crosses.

  • True love, in any of its forms, must be experienced against the background of the cross. Jesus has very vividly shown us this. Strange, then, that at times we can strive to develop another pattern of loving.

  • The suffering that is presently the most necessary for us is the one we can most consistently refuse.

  • Happiness cannot be achieved without a proper encounter with suffering. This is a basic premise of the Christian message. It would seem, then, that we would eagerly embrace the cross. Yet how often is this the case?

  • Being misunderstood by others precisely because we are striving to do God’s will is a not uncommon suffering.

  • To have to unavoidably hurt others can cause the sensitive person a suffering greater than the one he or she is inflicting.

  • There is a part of us that does not want to surrender to God. This struggle between the true self and the false self produces a unique type of suffering which is persistently present, often in milder degrees, but occasionally with an intensity that pierces very suddenly and very sharply.

  • It is not necessarily those who suffer the most who are the holiest. We grow in holiness through suffering—whatever its degree—to the extent we encounter it in loving conformity to God’s will.

  • The boredom that can grow out of daily routine, the frequent occasions which try one’s patience, ordinary episodes of failure, minor annoyances of various kinds, anxieties—these and other forms of the daily cross do not, taken separately, require a Christian response of heroic proportions. But in their cumulative effect over a long period of time, such occasions offer us the opportunity of becoming love-inspired Christians to an eminent degree.

  • There is nothing in the Christian teaching of the cross that says we cannot pray for relief from our sufferings.

  • To want to flee suffering is an un-christian attitude. So also is the attempt to make suffering an end in itself. The Christ-event did not end on Calvary.

  • “Then to all he said: ‘If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself and take up his cross every day and follow me.’” (Lk 9: 23).    end of excerpt

                R. We pray to live as God wants us
to live, being fruit for that
time in our lives when God
has put us here on earth –

                    Sufferings are redemptive –
we must learn to live as God wants
us to live – in His timing – in
                His way.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
we put our trust in Thee

December 30, 2015

               R. Do we think solutions depend on us? We need to
surrender and live as the Father wills us to do.
When we think everything depends on us – the
devil is at work trying to get a person puffed
up and not trusting God and those God wants
us to trust and work with –

We must learn to surrender to God's might –
to turn our lives and our wills over to God.
Dear God, please help us – we surrender to
                    You –

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

                R. God sends guides into our lives to help us with
spiritual guidance. A person may be ready to go to
the doctor or dentist at the slightest problem and
yet when it is so important we grow spiritually
and change bad habits we can decide not to
trust anyone – when God is sending spiritual
guides to us in writings like the Daily Messages
                and Blue Books.

Why is it so important to some, they never
want to thank God how He has helped them
in the Shepherds of Christ with these writings.
How offending it must be to give so much and
to not be shown gratitude for such a gift.

We need to focus on changing from those ways
not likened to Jesus. We can see ourselves like
the wise old owl in the tree – thinking we
are perfect and sizing everybody else up.

We need to listen to Jesus and pray to the
Holy Spirit to help us to have the gift of knowledge
to see ourselves and where we need to change
to grow to be more and more in the image of
                Jesus.

Isn't that what Christmas is all about –
Giving ourselves on this journey to others and
learning to be disciples of Jesus. It is pride
to think we know it all and don't need
each other. It is pride to think we are
perfect and wear a mask or think we
arrived and everybody should see how
good we are. If we are good it is because
of God's grace – God wants to help us move
to be more perfected like our heavenly Father
is perfect. The person who thinks they are
perfect is not even trying to change.

A person that is hurting others and trying
to prove they are right when they are wrong has
to be on guard all the time trying to prove
themselves, wearing a mask before others.

A person accepting their faults and
living in the truth doesn't have to be
like this – keyed up to prove they are perfect
before men. They want to make others feel
                guilty for their behavior –

It is best to be honest with ourselves and
others. Then we can improve where we
need to improve. Our focus is on the truth.
We need to have a person we can show ourselves
to in honesty – so we can see that mirroring
effect. Even though we aren't perfect,
even though we think differently – if we
honestly show ourselves to a significant
other – we see that they still love us and
accept us and it can help us grow in
intimate love and love of oneself –

The devil can have a field day with a person
who thinks they can only depend on themselves.
We need to look at ourselves, examine our
                conscience, ask ourselves what our
motives are for our actions – I want to
improve – to grow in loving ways – to
help build unity and friendship – to work
to help in the building of the Kingdom of God –

We want to have peace with ourselves,
                know ourselves, love ourselves and
accept ourselves fault and all truthfully –
not wear a mask and never let anyone
really see us and help us to grow in the
                spiritual life.

Yesterday I put on Fr. Lammeier's funeral
homily. Fr. Lammeier would always say, when you
                left, be nice!

Dear God help us to be positive thinkers –
to live to have peace – Help this to be a
great day – be with me in everything I do.
Help me God, walk with me. Isn't
it great to be alive! Thank You God
for my life, for my breath, for my
health and heartbeat. God please be with me, now.
I thank You God for every good thing in my
                life –

A man can carry around his negative
thinking – it is this that keeps him from peace –
Dear God help my mind to be at peace and for
me to have an attitude of gratitude.

Romans 12: 2

Do not model your behaviour on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and mature.

                R. To be happy we must change our
negative thoughts – not be addicted
to negative thinking and stay stuck!

These bad patterns can start in infancy and
we need God's help and grace to be positive
                thinkers.

Romans 12: 2

Do not model your behaviour on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and mature.

                R. Dear God help me to empty my mind –
so You can fill me with peace!

Dear God help me to let go of bitterness
                    and unforgiveness and hates and
                    fears –

Philippians 4: 13

There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me.

                R. I can do my work for God!

                God is real!

                God is with me!

Dear God help me to work on the solution
to problems, Help me to be calm –
Pray to the Holy Spirit to help give
                    wisdom and counsel –
Believe God will hear the prayer and help.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus I place my
                        trust in Thee –

                We control our minds –

Dear God heal me of giving in nervous
energy that takes me from Your Plan.

John 10: 11-15

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.

1 John 3: 22 - 4: 6

and whatever we ask
we shall receive from him,
because we keep his commandments
and do what is acceptable to him.
His commandment is this,
that we should believe
in the name of his Son Jesus Christ
and that we should love one another
as he commanded us.
Whoever keeps his commandments
remains in God, and God in him.
And this is the proof
   that he remains in us:
the Spirit that he has given us.

Third condition:
to be on guard against Antichrists
and against the world

My dear friends,
not every spirit is to be trusted,
but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God,
for many false prophets
are at large in the world.
This is the proof of the spirit of God:
any spirit
   which acknowledges Jesus Christ,
      come in human nature,
is from God,
and no spirit
   which fails to acknowledge Jesus
is from God;
it is the spirit of Antichrist,
whose coming you have heard of;
he is already at large in the world.
Children, you are from God
and have overcome them,
because he who is in you
is greater than he who is in the world.
They are from the world,
and therefore the world
   inspires what they say,
and listens to them.
We are from God;
whoever recognises God listens to us;
anyone who is not from God
   refuses to listen to us.
This is how we can distinguish
the spirit of truth
   from the spirit of falsehood.

                R. We are to test the spirits to see if they are
                    from God –

                R. Mary is Mother of God

                Mary is Our Mother

John 19: 25-27

Jesus and his mother

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, ‘Woman, this is your son.’ Then to the disciple he said, ‘This is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

Sing: Are Not Our Hearts Burning Within Us

June 6, 2015 - Eve of Precious Body and Blood of Jesus

                Month of the Sacred Heart

                R. See high, see low –

                See as you desire –

Our eyes are a wonderful gift given
                    to us from God

We can open our eyes or close our
                    eyes –

We can look straight ahead –
                    look high or
                    look low –

We can see with our eyes –

We can scan the scene from
                        right to left –

We can focus on trying to see the
big picture with our eyes –

We can drive a car and see with
                        other cars moving how to
                        go in union with them.

We can watch a play at the theater
but if it is boring we can close our
                    eyes and go to sleep.

We can watch the Mass and see
                    the priest –

What we see can make us cry –
What we see can help lead us to action –

What we see can help take us from danger
What we see can lead us to a new endeavor –

We can see a new born baby –

We can see a person laid out in a coffin –

We can read and learn with our eyes –

Were not our eyes a gift given to us
                    by God –

Last night Mary appeared to me in the
Virgin Mary building on the 5th –

She appeared in the deepest –
brightest light I cannot describe or
compare to any light I know –

                        it was beyond and

It's depth and intensity of light –

                        I cannot describe

She was beautiful and seeing her
face before me, in the mystical
                        was –

alive and different – it did not
                        remain the same –

She had given me messages –
                            prior to this intense apparition
of celestial beauty – I cannot
                            begin to describe

The messages will be transcribed and
                            published –

But then she appeared and she did
                            not speak at all –
                            It was the vision –

The vision of intensity – I was so

wrapped in it and could not
say to lead the Hail Marys –

                    My physical abilities were
                        numbed as I was enveloped
in her vision before me –

                        the light beyond description –

the depth so deep and so very

                            real –

the lady as she was encased in

                            this celestial aura was

                            deep in that heavenly vision

                            a Mother alive in celestial
                            light –

in the front of the depth while
the light was never exhausted –
                                behind and around her

A light it seemed deeper than the
                    ocean and farther than any
                    sea –

solid and bright with a light
                        unknown to me

And her beauty in celestial surroundings,

her beauty mystical – beyond anything
                        I have ever seen –

No breath or depth – no high or low,
no light can be a measure for

the opening to this window of

                        celestial beauty –

Forever – Forever – God tells us of
                        heaven –

A foreverness was this vision like
                        the scripture

1 Corinthians 2:9

"What no eye has seen and no ear has heard, what the mind of man cannot visualise; all that God has prepared for those who love him;"

                R. Did you ever see the sun dance on

the ocean, or a sun dressed
                    body of water –

There is movement – like nothing
                    else you know –

When she appeared this vision is
not static or like what we
see with regard its movement –

                    I see no movement
                    It is –
                    Ever changing, beauteous and without

a beginning or an end to what
                        I am seeing –

It is, I see no change, but it
                        is alive in beauty and
                        different entirely that I am
drawn into it and almost unable
to talk, to use my physical
                        things –

I am in the intensity of this apparition –
in it and it is and it has

depth and light and beauty and is

                    alive –

                    I can't describe it at all –

If I can see the sun dancing on a
body of endless water, can I
tell you of it so you can enjoy
the experience and try to describe
                    the movement, the light, the
depth – the sky that meets
                    way out in beautiful blue
                    against the silver waters dancing
                    in radiant light –

You may identify with what you
have seen of this and enjoy it
                    with me, but

                The vision of Mary –
the living appearance of her –
                    the light –

the Virgin Mother as she showed
                        herself in a celestial way
                        to me –

I cannot even find anything to
                        identify this with and

Yet it was so real –
                        so beautiful –
so that it captivated me deeply

to be enthralled in it –

                            I cannot describe

But I know more of eternity –

                    that with depth and breath
                    we do not know or
                    comprehend –

We are blind to the celestial reward,
                relationship with God in intense

purity and unity – eternally –

We are on earth and we measure with

our spoons and ounces, we see

                    with eyes veiled

And God is beyond and other and

yet He has given us Jesus Christ in

the Eucharist to come to us

and feed the sharing in His life

                    we have from baptism –

If He spoke now – He would say

reach – reach and reach –
go out and spread the Good News –

Man is so stilted in his ways
and he can be so bolted to the
                    earth, but we were created
in the image and likeness of God –

created to reach to the heights –

to dig deeply into the Mystery –

to know that the unseen is real –

to not be stifled because we

                            stand in a cement sidewalk

wrapped in the beauty of our

                            own footprint –

                The footprints we follow are

those of the Son of God for we

                    were created in His

                    image and likeness

The seen and the unseen –

Do we see at all beyond
                        our eyes –

                        the Mystery of God –

                        the Mystery of Jesus –

                        the Mystery of the Incarnation

                        the Mystery of the sacramental
                            life of the Church –

the Mystery of Jesus truly present

                            Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity

                            in the Eucharist

                Reach – Reach – Reach –

                See the unseen –

Dig deep into the Heart of Jesus

Beg for the Holy Spirit to fill us with

                    His gifts to see, to

                    understand, to know,

                    to love, to be holy,

to fear God and to be

full of wisdom and council –

This is relationship of us –

                    human creatures with

                    the Divine God –

This is about the gift of baptism –

The sharing in Divine Life –

                This is about being nurtured

                    with the Bread of Life

the Eucharist and His Word –

This is about the unseen and

                    the seen –

                This is about preparing ourselves

                    for the goal of eternal

                    happiness –

Seeing God face to face –

Being wrapped in the beatific vision –

My people this is about Mary

appearing in the Virgin Mary building

and showing me last night –

                    her beauty that I cannot

                    even describe and

                    when she appeared that

way – she said nothing –

                        she just took me into

this beauty and I behold her

                            and what she showed

                            me and

                        in the end

                    R. How can I

                        draw

                            this?

                    We are earthly and

                    He is heavenly and

                        yet He wants to reveal
                            secrets of Himself to
                            us and have an intimate
                            relationship with us –

                Mary wants a personal relationship
                    with us –
She is our spiritual Mother –

Open your eyes and your hearts to
God and to our Mother at Our Side

Excerpt from The Spirituality of Fatima

by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

July 13, 1917

"During her appearance in July, Our Lady, in answer to Lucia's plea, promised that in October she would work a great miracle so that all might believe and know who she was. Again, the Mother of God told the children to sacrifice themselves for sinners and to say many times, especially when making a sacrifice, this prayer: "O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of poor sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." (11)

"During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:

"You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

"The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. (12)

"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....

"But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." (13)

Given July 27, 2004

Messenger:        My dear people,

Jesus told me to put this message on the internet,
so I went into this message and I saw the blank road
which I really don't remember putting on
                                without Father Carter.

I looked at the date July 27, 2000,
Jesus told me to put this on.

Father was opened up almost 2 months later
September 22, 2000 and we found out
                                he had cancer.

I remember Father saying all summer of 2000,
"Jesus is really talking a lot about death."

July 27, 2000

Messenger: I went to a funeral.

Messenger:  As I stood at the grave site and the priest read the prayers, I experienced Jesus standing by the hole into which the coffin would be lowered. He was tall and dressed in white with His brown hair. I felt His presence as He stood next to the priest and I saw the picture of the open tomb from the message a few days ago.

I saw the family which were relatives of my family and I saw like I saw at Emily's grandfather's funeral. A beautiful family, sons and daughters of this man, 94 years old. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were there. His body would be laid in the ground next to his wife's grave.

All through the Mass I saw him healthy and smiling, for he was with us on many holidays, Thanksgivings and Christmases.

It became so clear to me how natural is this process of being born, living and dying, and I felt so close to heaven at the funeral and cried to God to help us in this mission to help save souls. Our mission is so important. Life here on earth is just temporary.

Oh, the seasons pass and one year turns into another and soon that day comes when our bodies are laid to rest in a hole in the earth.

And I heard the priest say, "Because God has chosen to call our brother Harry from this life to himself, we commit his body to its resting place, for we are dust and unto dust we shall return."

And then he said, "For our brother Harry, let us pray to our Lord Jesus Christ who said, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me shall live even in death and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.'"

(Taken from a prayer pamphlet compliments of the Cincinnati Catholic Cemetery Society.)

Messenger:  My heart burns for Jesus, I want to live with Him so deep in my heart and for all eternity. I want others to know how close He truly is and that He loves souls so much.

I am grateful to God for our Church, the Mass and the Eucharist in the tabernacle. I am so grateful to God for His grace and for good people that show me love and serve God. I love all souls. He loved them all to His death on the cross.

Please pray with me and help me reach them with His message of love.

Messenger:  A seed is planted. If it is watered and cared for, it grows. It has a beginning, it has a prime time of greatest beauty or a time of bearing great fruit, and then it begins to wither and die. It is all in the natural process.

But He breathed in us a human soul and our souls never die. He gives us a sharing in His divine life in a special way in Baptism.

He is the first-fruits. Jesus is the first born of the dead.

John stood beneath the cross with Mary.

We partake in that heavenly sacrifice.

Sometimes we may be like Mary Magdalene, and yet we can be changed in our hearts to love Him so passionately. He is the God of fire and light. He is the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

He is worthy of praise and love and thanksgiving.

He controls our breath, our heartbeat.

He calls us each by name. He knew our name as He hung on the cross. He saw us in the garden. The love for us swelled up in His Sacred Heart and He gave Himself for us.

Oh, God, help us to realize more Your love for us and through our lives spread the message of Your love to all souls.

A little mark on the arm one day, a leg that gives in, and then the curtain of life comes down on the troubled soul.

We aren't here on this earth forever. Jesus wept at the death of Lazarus his dear friend. Mary and Jesus weep for the souls that die and condemn themselves to hell.

Messenger: HE IS SAVIOR.

GOD THE VICTOR

HE ROSE VICTORIOUS.

He has stood at the grave of His friends, while others gazed on in a daze. They didn't yet see the miracle of a seed. When nurtured it grows into a mighty oak, but a tornado can rip it from its roots.

HE CAME TO GIVE US LIFE TO THE FULL.

Excerpt from December 7, 1998, Daily Message

Mary speaks: It was a cold blustery day. After two weeks of falling because his knees gave out, Oscar entered the doctor's office and began tests. By the end of the week he found out his body was filled with cancer and he had only a few months to live. He was a big businessman with lots of clients and a busy schedule. He really didn't have a lot of time for the family and love. Much time was spent in making contacts for his business. It took many hours for social connections. He played a lot of golf at the country club. He took long trips, half pleasure, half business, to make the right connections. He had built a very secure castle for his life here below. He was fixed with insurance and financial security. It never dawned on him how temporary everything really was here on the earth. He was in good health, or so he thought. He had his check-ups regularly. He tried to exercise and eat right. He told himself that what counted was his name and his money. He was very concerned with what others thought of him and centered his life on creating an image among men. He wanted to be accepted by men.

My children, I loved Scotty and Oscar, I tried to reach them. Many prayed for Oscar, but few prayed for Scotty. Many souls do not have anyone to pray for them.

A Message from Mary - July 27, 2000

Mary speaks: In the spring of life, many souls found the days of autumn come and in the winter they died a pitiable death.

The day was sunny and bright outside the funeral home, and inside Oscar's family mourned for his passing.

Jesus speaks: THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM JESUS

Ezekiel 34: 11-16

"For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shall take care of my flock and look after it. As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shall I look after my sheep. I shall rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness. I shall bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shall gather them back from the countries and bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the inhabited parts of the country. I shall feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground. There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel. I myself shall pasture my sheep, I myself shall give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh. I shall look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. I shall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be true shepherd to them.

Jesus speaks: THIS IS MY MOVEMENT, SHEPHERDS OF CHRIST.

I am calling you to help Me.

I AM the Good Shepherd.

You prepare a table for me
   under the eyes of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
   my cup brims over.

Kindness and faithful love pursue me
   every day of my life.
I make my home in the house of Yahweh
   for all time to come.

John 10:14

     I am the good shepherd;
     I know my own
     and my own know me,

John 6:48-50

I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate manna in the desert and
    they are dead;
    but this is the bread
        which comes down from heaven,
so that a person may eat it and not die.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57

A hymn of triumph. Conclusion

And after this perishable nature has put on imperishability and this mortal nature has put on immorality, then will the words of scripture come true: Death is swallowed up in victory. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin comes from the Law. Thank God, then, for giving us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 John 1:1-4

The Incarnate Word
and sharing with the Father and the Son

Something which has existed
   since the beginning,
which we have heard,
which we have seen with our own eyes,
which we have watched
and touched with our own hands,
the Word of life-
this is our theme.
That life was made visible;
we saw it and are giving our testimony,
declaring to you the eternal life,
which was present to the Father
and has been revealed to us.
We are declaring to you
what we have seen and heard,
so that you too may share our life.
Our life is shared with the Father
and with his Son Jesus Christ.
We are writing this to you
so that our joy may be complete.

Excerpt from July 21, 2000 daily message

Messenger: In a few days on July 31, it will be the wonderful feast of our beloved St. Ignatius Loyola. The nine day period before begins July 23. Let's all join together and ask St. Ignatius to intercede to God to grant grace that the Jesuits will help us more and more in this mission. That the Jesuits will help us spreading the priestly newsletter and the consecration and rosary to the earth and all that is needed to help spread the devotion to the Sacred Heart as Jesus desires. We will pray in this 9 day period for ourselves and our calling to help bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart. We will pray for the Jesuits, whom we love, through the intercession of St. Ignatius.

I love St. Ignatius so much. Every July 31,  I have received the most wonderful graces on this Feast at Mass that day. I feel really close to St. Francis Xavier, too. I think we should pray through his powerful intercession and that of St. Claude La Columbiere and St. Margaret Mary.

Let's make this nine day novena praying through their powerful intercession.

Written September 24, 2000

Messenger:  I watched by his bed.

A book for those who help cancer patients, for their relatives and friends who need to cope with the suffering of losing a loved one.

It was a quiet day or so it seemed, the long months of watching John go "down hill" had come to an end.

I did not know that the end was indeed so near, but the story had been written in the days that went before, but I really never read the message given in the days that led up to that final page.

There were months of warnings, but I just lived every day coping with that day’s events and when the final page was about to be written, I felt shocked, empty and afraid.

The days before were all telling the story, but like anyone in love with a family member, who wants to think that days of parting might be so soon? Oh, but they were so soon. As I look back now, I see I just didn’t recognize them.

Every person can only do so much, but out of love those we love deeply and love us, sometimes, cover up their real conditions in an attempt to live life as usual.

Cancer is a mighty menace. It attacks the weak and the strong. It acts like an aggressive machine growing and growing inside someone’s body and they may not notice the gradual sucking of their life from the other parts of the body until it almost leaves them dead.

I was a little girl of five years old when the deadly disease ate away the cells in my mother’s body as it took over her body and she soon died.

But I am not here to make you feel sorry for me or to tell you about anything new, but to write of the dying and rising of my dear friend, Fr. Carter.

The signs were there, for in January he became very sick and even though he wanted to go to the Virgin Mary building to say a private Mass there, he could not go and the once held plane reservations were cancelled.

He remained sick and on February 5, 2000, when we opened the Rosary Factory in Clearwater, Florida at Mary’s Image site, he did attend, but he didn’t feel good and he continued trying really hard to serve us as a ministry.

Now, I don’t know, in September after they opened him up and told us what they did, how he ever did all he did, being so sick. It was September 22, 2000, when they operated on him and it was January 22, 2000, when we were supposed to go to Clearwater, Florida, exactly eight months later.

Father Carter continued to keep a hectic schedule.

Jesus told him to write the lengthy spirituality newsletter in which he summed up a great deal about the spiritual life. We could all study it for our entire life.

As I write this, I don’t know if he will ever tape record this 20 page newsletter or the next newsletter.

I do know this, the signs were there and Father worked really hard to continue doing all he did despite his sickness, weakness. His faith in the Movement never wavered. He had a burning desire to serve Jesus and help renew the priesthood, the Church and the world.

Father worked and worked because he loved us all so much and loved the world and he didn’t complain, ever.

His faith in this Movement and the messages of Jesus is shown in his life given to this.

Father showed us the message of Jesus in his life. He lived in such union with Him. He offered Mass every day praying so fervently for souls and for all of us.

I see the signs especially on the trips. Mary was adorned in gold on the building July 5, 2000, during the evening prayer service.

September 24, 2000 message continues

Messenger: Father was in the motel and he didn’t feel good.

After the Mass he had to sit and he didn’t think he would make it during the Mass because he was weak.

I watched a lot of Masses that way, between his blood sugar levels and he seemed to just sigh sometimes to do ordinary motions, but he kept serving God and loving us all.

I watched him look up to the Father and say, “through him, with him and in him”.

Through Him, with Him and in Him

September 24, 2000 message continues

Messenger: He lived for the Mass. He offered it for the Movement and for all of us, the whole Church and the world, to help bring about the Reign of Jesus’ Sacred Heart.

I can show you the picture taken on my birthday, August 8, 2000, he looked really bad and I worried about him so much I cried as I spoke to him, but in his calm, peaceful attitude, he assured me everything was okay as God wanted it and he was getting proper care.

September 24, 2000 message continues

Messenger: Every day he looked weaker and he coughed whenever he talked and we all prayed more.

He was determined to say Mass in China on the Feast of Mary’s birthday, September 8, 2000, and he paid a big price for it.

For about 4 months he struggled with the cough and he walked slower and slower and he looked sicker every day, but he knew what God was telling him and about his mission.

December 19, 2000 - Second Message

Messenger: Our Lord said that we have prayed so fervently for the healing of Fr. Carter's cancer, now we can pray for the souls of the earth in need of healing.

We can still pray for Father Carter, but with all the fervor we prayed for his healing, we must pray for healing for the souls of the earth.

A Healing Rosary for the souls of the earth.

Today is healing day we pray especially at 6:20 p.m. for healing.

A rosary can be used to pray for healing. It is powerful to unite our prayers to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and pray through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater.

In times of trouble, for special prayer, we can use our rosary and pray as follows.

A Rosary for Healing or for Someone with Cancer.

On one Hail Mary bead or as many as you desire, say:

May God heal                     through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater in union with the Mass and all the Masses being celebrated around the world.

Pray the Hail Mary or Hail Mary's then pray this after the Hail Mary.

May the cancer be uprooted and thrown into the sea.

We believe with all our hearts.

After the Glory Be— pray the following petition.

May                     be healed through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater if it be the holy will of God.

Note: You can look at Mary on the image rosary while you pray this rosary.

Note: The above section can be printed out from a PDF file, and you can pray the rosary looking at the pictures.

December 19, 2000 - Third Message

Messenger: The thing that helped me the most is at 3:00 a.m.

I had a light and I heard Our Lord speak. He said:

Would you wish to deprive Me of giving a holy soul their reward?

Messenger: I saw Father Carter in heaven and I saw the drudgery of the earth here below, then I could see how "dumb" it was to want him here when he could be in heaven with God enjoying his eternal reward.

I kept saying all day what happened December 18, and then I remembered the message I wrote five years ago on December 18, about being embraced by God. The writing appears here from the Mass Book.

IN THE DEEPEST RECESSES OF HIS HEART

The place Jesus took me was into the deepest recesses of His Heart. I was enveloped in His burning love. It was a red room with heat and an intense glow. I was swept away in this embrace, and I only existed in Him. The power of the Almighty God enveloped me, and I only existed in Him. There was no fear, for I was existent in this Almighty Being. My heart was wrapped in the eternal embrace of this Supreme Being. The security, the power I know was His deep presence in which I existed.

I knew the room was red and warm. I knew His immenseness, but I felt my own completeness in Him. I did not feel little, as a speck, but elevated and empowered for I existed then in Him in a most special way.

I was overtaken by the love of God. The fire of the Holy Spirit filled me. I was absorbed by the love of the Father, and I existed IN Him and in the deepest recesses of the Heart of Jesus. Our heaven on earth is these inner chambers of His magnificent Heart - the Heart of the Almighty God, with all the power, with omnipotence, with the fire of the love of God. He took me to the deepest chamber of this fiery Heart, and in that moment, I touched eternity, for I knew what it was to be enveloped in the deep furnace of His love. I now want to exist in this chamber of His Heart, swept away in His burning love, absorbed in my every cell with His love.

We do not understand the fire of His love. We do not understand what it is to be absorbed by love itself. He took me to the inner, deepest chamber of His Heart, and I felt the heat and knew the presence of love itself, and there was no fear, only a feeling of completeness, omnipotence, all-embracing, penetrating love - a power indescribable in words, a saturation of my being in the presence of God, and I was as I was created to be - living in Him!

This is how I will forever live my life, saturated with His divine life and love deep within this inner chamber of His burning Heart, living in Him as He possesses my being, and I operate with His power in me.

Little creatures though we are, we are His, His power, His life, flowing through us. In Him, we are as the Father intended: one in Him, each one of us, dwelling in this fiery furnace of His love. With our fears quieted and our hearts empowered by His life, we live forever in Him - in the Heart of Jesus.

Let no man separate what God has joined together. I am wed in the deepest love with my beloved Spouse, wed to the Heart of Jesus. As I am, I am one in Him. I live and I breathe in Him. He, Who is love, He Who is our all, He Who is mighty and without limits, He Who is, He Who is God and as I live, He lives in me in this world.

I am wed to Him, and I shall not fear for He is God - one, complete, loving, God. Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee. As I live, I live in Your most adorable Heart, the furnace of God's love!

(End of December 18, 1995 message)

Messenger: Jesus wants us to pray for another special priest helping us.

Now the Movement can soar for our founder is on the other side and we can pray united to him.

He loves us so much. He can be united to all our prayers.

Things work toward good if we love and serve Him.

This death should make us feel so close to the other side. It should help us think more of praying through the intercession of the saints.

St. Ignatius, St. Claude de la Colombiere, help us, St. Xavier help us, and all the popes in heaven, help us. Help us reach the pope and the churches with the priestly newsletter and the writings of Fr. Carter. Please help so churches begin prayer chapters. Please pray for those at the Colombiere Center. They pray for the renewal of the Church and the renewal of the Jesuits. They promote the Morning Offering.

The last hug – we never know when it may be the last hug.

See the Big Picture

Jesus speaks: To all My dearest beloved ones at the Center and in the Shepherds of Christ:

You do not see the big picture. You do not see how your job is so important to My plan. Do you see your confusion? The devil presses in . He tells you how everything is hard and you are working so hard and not seeing any results. He tells you that you have not done enough. Oh, little loved ones, you are involved in the renewal of My Church. You see with such limited vision! I am using Shepherds of Christ to renew My Church throughout this world. I am lighting My world with the love that is being radiated in the many hearts that are coming to the Center and the Farm. You see, minute-by-minute, day-by-day, your frustrations and problems.

I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I write these intense love letters of My love for this world. You see only your little daily frustrations. You are so important to spreading My love! I am giving you messages for all My beloved souls of this world. My (Shepherds of Christ priestly) Newsletter will enkindle in priests the fire of My love. I will light this world with My light through you.

Oh, little loved ones, see the big picture. Pray for grace to know and love Me more. It is by your love of God that you will carry out My plan with ease.

You see little details. I call you to prayer. I call you to sacrifice. I call you to love and purity in your heart. I call you to union with Jesus and Mary. I call you to consecration of your heart to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I call you to live in the Spirit, to pray to the Spirit, to be alive with His fire, to be transformed into My great soldiers of love, so that your hearts will be on fire with the most burning love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I call you to vision. I call you to doing the will of My Father, to saying "yes" as Mary said "yes" to the angel, total compliance with His will!

I call you to time spent alone with Me in front of the tabernacle and after Communion.

Oh, My beloved children, you are blind. You do not see that this is My world. The reality is that your every breath depends on Me. I am here. I am in your midst this day, no less present than the day Mary carried Me in her womb, no less present than the day I died on the cross. Open your eyes and see the love I am pouring out to you.

This (Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center) is My Mother's house. I write these letters to you from her house in Norwood. I am alone many times in My tabernacle here. You cannot light this world on your own. You need to pray for the grace to grow in love of Me.

I write these letters of My intense love to My precious souls. I want these letters to circulate. The lives of Myself and My Mother will become more and more alive to you as you read these letters. Pray the rosary with these meditations. I am begging you to listen to Me.

I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have written five books of My intense love. I have given you such insights into My suffering and My Mother's suffering. It is through the rosary and these letters that the love of God will grow more and more in men's hearts. I beg you to take Me seriously. I love, I love, I love. I write songs of My love. I want these songs recorded.

I am an open furnace of endless love, on fire for My beloved souls. I write, I write, I write of this love. You do not take Me seriously!

Your city will shine with the love of Jesus in the hearts of those who go to the Center when you promote these letters. To hold these letters back from My beloved souls wounds My Heart. I wait. I long. I thirst for the love of My beloved souls. I write five books of love letters. I beg you, all of you involved in circulating and publishing these letters, to do so. Your churches will radiate with My love when you circulate these letters.

My Heart is on fire for love of you. I beg you this day to listen to Me. I am Jesus. I write of My ardent love for you and I am taken so lightly! Please circulate and read these messages! Please support these letters! What more must I do to tell you? What more do you want? I write five books of My love. I teach you the rosary to help Our lives live in you. The rosary is so important to the hearts of those who go to the Center and the members of Shepherds of Christ. The rosary and its mysteries must live in the lives of those who pray them. My renewal will come from the two Hearts. Listen to Me. Please circulate these letters and rosary meditations. They will lead many hearts to My love and the love of Mary.

I give You all my liberties, I want to love and serve You as You desire.

I surrender myself to You.

I ask You to run my life.

I ask You to help me act like You, Jesus, and like Your Mother Mary.

God, this day I consecrate myself to You.

I am  (name) , Your beloved child, guide me on my way now as I go about my day (or if in Church) as I leave Your Eucharistic presence.

Homily delivered by Fr. John J. Pasquini

Fifth Sunday of Lent (John 11:3-7, 17, 20-27, 33b-45)

Cycle A

JESUS WEPT

Michael had Down’s syndrome.  One Friday night he felt ill.  The next morning he fell into a coma, was rushed to the hospital, and died.

This little six year old influenced more people in his short life than most will influence in a whole life.  The nurses at the hospital cried upon his death, the funeral home directors cried when taking care of his body, and the parishioners and priests who packed the funeral Mass cried openly at the Mass.

How do we deal with such a tragedy?  Jesus came into the world for occasions such as this!  Jesus was fully human and fully divine:  In his humanity he showed us how to be human, and how to bring meaning to life, even in the tragic circumstances of life.  But Jesus did much more.  He showed us his divinity.  In his divinity, he showed us the magnificence of eternal life, that in HIM death is vanquished.  Jesus came to share in our human life so that we might share in his divine life.

Today’s Gospel reminds us that Jesus cried.  He cried to show us that in God all tears are precious.  Tears are a sign of love; they reflect the love we have for a person and the love they have or had for us.  And the beauty of such love is that it is pure and authentic and therefore is a powerful testament of grace, and where there is grace there is salvation.  Authentic and pure tears are a sign of authentic and pure love, and therefore a sign of salvation.

The tears for Michael were a sign of the community’s love for this little Down’s syndrome boy, and his love for us!  Where there is such love grace abounds.  As the First Letter of John states:  “…[L]ove is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God.  Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.  If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us….  God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.”

Authentic love is a sign of salvation!

By sharing in our human life by crying, Jesus also helped show us his divine life—He reminded us that in him, with him, and for him we have been reborn into everlasting life—that in HIM death is vanquished.

And so the congregation found comfort in knowing that what Jesus said to Martha he said so for little Michael, too:  “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.”

Michael and his parents believed this.

And so Michael is now enjoying eternal life with God.  And just as he loved us, cared for us, and prayed for us, he is doing so from heaven, in the presence of almighty God.  For in God life changes, but never ends.

Death is nothing at all. Life changes, but never ends.  Whatever we were to each other—that we still are.  Call me by my familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used to. Laugh as we laughed.  Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.  Let my name be the household name it always was.  Life means all that it ever meant.  I have not gone; I am closer to you now than ever before.  There is an absolute unbroken continuity.  Why should I be out of your mind and presence just because I am out of your sight.  All is well.  I am waiting for you.  Someday we will all be together with God.  Keep well, keep the faith.  Nothing is past, nothing is lost.  One blink of the eye and we will be together forever, for eternity with God.  Life changes, but never ends.

(adopted from a funeral prayer)

John 11:25  I am the resurrection and the life.

                R. Fr. Joe said –

                    If Jesus walked in and
                said to us

"I am the resurrection and the life"

                    or

we can say if Jesus walked
                    in and said

"I am the way, the truth and
                        the life"

                    How would we respond?

John 11: 25

Jesus said:

I am the resurrection.
Anyone who believes in me,
even though that person dies, will live,

                Sing: On Eagles Wings

Fr. Joe said at the funeral, He had anointed
Butch and prayed for him so
                    that he would enter into
                    eternal life –

God calls us – He knocks on
                    our door –

                He says to us

                    "Come follow Me"

He will come to us someday
                    when He is ready for
us to leave this earth –

We want Him to take us
                    quickly into eternal
                    life – eternal happiness.

God made us to be with Him
                    for all eternity –

We need to have as our goal
                    of all of our actions
                    eternal life – eternal
                    happiness.

                We perform actions for
                    right reasoning –
                    in love –
                    according to God's will

                God put us here –
                    God calls us to have
                    relationship with Him –
                    He wants this –
He calls us to Himself –

                We are pilgrims on a
                    journey –

God put us here and He
wants us to go to heaven.

                Christ emptied Himself –

The Mass is the Sacrifice of Calvary –
                    sacramentally made present –

                We empty ourselves –

We are to seek and obey
                    the Father's will –

When we go to the Eucharist
we receive the Body and Blood
                    of Christ.

We are to be one in Him.

We are to have unity in Christ –

                Unity and love in our
                    lives with God and
                    others –

                Dear God have mercy on
                    us –

We are sorry for our sins –

Dear God help us, direct us,
                    lead us to life eternal
                    with You –

Through Him, With Him, In Him

Vigil & Feast of the Assumption (excerpt)

August 14/15, 2010

Mass during the day: Our first reading (Revelation 11:19a, 12:1-6a, 10ab) is from the book of Revelation. The book of Revelation is highly symbolic. Some of the symbolism is quite obvious while it requires a fairly extensive knowledge of Scripture to interpret some of the other symbols. In today’s first reading we hear about a woman, a child and a dragon. The dragon represents the devil and the powers of evil at work in the world. The child is Christ. The woman in our reading has a double symbolism. She stands for Mary, the physical mother of Jesus Christ, and she stands for the Church, our spiritual mother who brings Jesus Christ to birth in us through faith and the sacraments. In today’s passage the woman is rescued from the powers of the dragon and is described in great glory. This too has a double symbolism. It symbolizes the glory of Mary in the assumption. It also symbolizes God’s faithful people whom he will rescue from evil and will bring, in the resurrection from the dead, into the glory of heaven.

HOMILY – Mary’s assumption into heavenly glory is not explicitly described in the Scriptures. As St. John says at the end of his gospel, the Scriptures do not tell us everything that could be said about Jesus, what he said or did, much less does it tell us everything about Mary or the Apostles or the early Church. The Church has believed for centuries that Mary was so honored in the assumption because no one followed Christ as perfectly as she did, thus it is perfectly appropriate that Mary would follow him into eternal glory, body and soul.

A painting by Raphael (Vatican Pinacoteca: Crowning of the Virgin – Oddi Altarpice) recalls the legend that when Mary’s life came to an end, the apostles buried her. Thomas, however, was not there at the time and when he returned he wanted to see for himself that she had died. When they opened her tomb, her body was gone. It had been raised and was taken to heaven by her Son who crowned her as queen. St. Francis de Sales said: “What son would not bring his mother back to life and would not bring her into paradise after her death if he could?” Actually, no one knows where Mary might have passed away – whether it was in Jerusalem or in Ephesus. Another painting by Raphael (Vatican Pinacoteca: Madonna of Foligno) is one I thought was very lovely. It is part of a larger piece which includes St. John the Baptist and St. Francis on the left and St. Jerome introducing the kneeling Sigismondo Conti who was the patron who commissioned the painting.

  Revelation 11:19, 12: 1-6, 10

Then the sanctuary of God in heaven opened, and the ark of the covenant could be seen inside it. Then came flashes of lightning, peals of thunder and an earthquake and violent hail.

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth. Then a second sign appeared in the sky: there was a huge red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and each of the seven heads crowned with a coronet. Its tail swept a third of the stars from the sky and hurled them to the ground, and the dragon stopped in front of the woman as she was at the point of giving birth, so that it could eat the child as soon as it was born. The woman was delivered of a boy, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne, while the woman escaped into the desert, where God had prepared a place for her to be looked after for twelve hundred and sixty days.

Then I heard a voice shout from heaven, 'Salvation and power and empire forever have been won by our God, and all authority for his Christ,...'

                R. The Holy Spirit calls us to Him. The Holy Spirit wants to fill
our soul, but we must want Him to come, and we ask Him
to come to us. The Holy Spirit works powerfully on our soul.
Come Holy Spirit, Come and fill our heart with love –
Come Holy Spirit come and help us to be on fire with
                    the love of God.

From Tell My People by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

                R. We pray for the increase of faith, hope and love
in our graced baptized soul –

The more the Holy Spirit fills us, the more we love
on a supernatural level and the more we
are united to God and to others.

Love of God comes in surrender and
docility. the soul recognizes that God is
All Powerful, is Divine and the soul knows
its place - under God. The gifts of the Holy
Spirit are gifts given by God for the soul to reach
greater perfection in God – to be more and more
                in the image of Jesus.

Here is a prayer Jesus gave me one year
                before Lent.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

                R. We seek to be possessed by God –

Here is a prayer I was given 22 years ago.

                R. When a person loves another person they
want to share themselves with the other –

A person wounded harshly in love, in childhood
therefore will, because of the wounds of love,
want to close-up and keep others out of
their space. Some even provoking others
they use as victims and blame, that are
entirely innocent people, used by the wounded
party who projects their pain on an innocent
other, blaming and doing far worse sometimes, to
the innocent other than what was done to them.
These secrets of wounding and how traumatic
they were need to come out, and the person
learn, to love and trust others, God has sent
                    in their life.

If a person thinks they can operate out of darkness,
they soon learn the darker can be ever darker
in isolation and punishing, life-long, themselves
and others and not really living as God wants.

The element of 'control' which is paramount to the
wounded person, locked in pain should be
seen in contrast to the freedom of
flying in love in the Holy Spirit, with REAL
                    surrender to God.

But the person wounded and shut down doesn't
want to open and trust anyone and the darkness
of depriving themselves of really living in God
becomes a greater darkness as they oppose God's
will for them, constantly, causing CONFLICT in
                    themselves.

What we were given in baptism is great
gifts to be united to the all perfect God –
in a most intimate fashion where He fills
                our soul with Himself.

The person caught up in their secret
wounds and hidden has lost all trust
in the people God sends as guides to help them.

We see how the men scourged Jesus and put
Him to death. We see that the Good, many times
are persecuted by others who are not connected
in their hearts as they should be and are used
by satan to block the work God wants
                accomplished.

Trust and Truth to me walk hand-in-hand.
We learn about trusting God, by trusting the
trustworthy people God puts in our lives –
We learn about trusting people by really
                surrendering and trusting God –
Trust works 2 ways – we are working in
relationships – The more we trust others God
sends to help us grow spiritually – the more we
                learn to trust God.

The more we Trust God like in these two prayers –
Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, Prayer
for Union – we ask God to come – possess
us, we surrender and then God moves
like a mighty wind in us, helping us to let
go more and more to Him –

                Trust takes letting go –

The person wounded, and closed, and hurting
others makes themselves more and more closed
and isolated – making others suffer like they
suffered and they blame the people they
wound for their nasty ways they treat them –

It is all twisted, dark, not based on
a goal of eternal happiness because it
is not rooted in truth. It is rooted in
deception, hewn out of a sickness from
long ago inflicted on them through the
sin of one or several who abused them –
and keeping this secret and guarding it - is
all operating in the darkness and in control –

Who can really control other people, who can
                control their lives.

A germ fanatic is different than a person
seeking to have good hygiene and taking precautions
                about cleanliness.

Balance and truth, right reasoning –
keeping our goal on eternal life and allowing
God to come and work like the wind in our
lives – burning off the rough edges that
are destructive bad habits that drive us
from intimacy and trust with God and others –

                    Letting go to God –

Really opening up to secrets and asking God to
heal the dark, black halls why someone can
be in a cold hall locked in abuse done to them –
Trusting those guides in our life God has sent
to help us and guides in the writings He has
given to help us to grow to be the Apostles,
Servants, Handmaids, Associates – He has
                called us to be –

But the halls of pride of some are like
Black, cold, hateful places that are not
                door ways to heaven.

A person seeing themselves as great and
others as under them, not as good as them,
denying structure and direction where God
uses others to lead them in the spiritual life
and having to tell God – "I need nobody – I
will find my own help if I need it – I want
this person to heal me". If a person is stuck
on wanting some unavailable person to heal
them and they won't let go of the person
who wounded them – they can set up surrogate
others they can pull in for their sick ways that
                need to be healed.

God knows what has happened in our lives.
Suffering is redemptive. God is Divine –
the Holy Spirit coming to us is the Divine God, but
God works also in guides to help us – in
structure, in books and ways He
sends us messages in our lives to help
                us heal –

We have to be docile to the touch of the Holy Spirit
then open to working with those He sends
                to help us.

The person who is trapped in an alcoholic
situation, abuse at home or at work and
needs the job – very often doesn't want
anyone to know because they don't trust
anyone – they can close themselves off –
which is against God's will –

God knows what is going on in our hearts –
He wants intimacy with us –

When we go to heaven, if we do go to heaven,
                God will possess our soul.

We are here to learn to be so one with
God – to unite with others in
the building of the Kingdom of God –

We are here a work in progress – God knows
                our hearts.

The devil works in secrets – the devil tells
people not to trust others – the devil works
                in pride.

We see Jesus on the Cross – obeyed the Father's
                will –

We study the scripture of John and see
the Persons of the Trinity and relationship of
                the Persons of the Trinity.

Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

                R. Devotion to God – living by the Word of God –
                Going to the Eucharist.

When we are docile to the Holy Spirit – we need
silence – we need the Holy Spirit working in that
silence in our soul – we want the Holy Spirit
                to work in us.

A busy man is a busy man and he
doesn't hear if he does not stop and
spend that time alone with God.

The Holy Spirit wants to come and possess
our soul, to direct us, to work in us, but
we are asking God to help us. It is a two
                way street.

A person that is stilted Jesus says becomes
more and more closed to where they recognize
their place – under Him – under authority –
they do not recognize at all: relationship is
allowing God to direct them – through authority –
through those He sends in their life to relate
with, to trust and to live in truth –

Truth is a dominating force. Jesus has
said even the smallest lie can lead us
off. Lies become habits and a person
can lie, flatter, say whatever will get what
                they want to happen –

                Is that control?

                God works in truth –

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life –
When a person lies to get what they want
to manipulate things – lives in secrets –
hides the truth – tells others to hide
the truth – lies to authority to strengthen
their stand and raise up those subject
to authority – over the authority – they
are working against God when He has
                implemented just authority –

God is at work. We can try to manipulate,
justify lying, keep secrets, ignore authority –
resist correction, not being held responsible
for our job, not recognizing our accountability
                for our actions –

then say to ourselves – I deserve to continue
                this –

Well a house divided against itself –
                does not stand –

                R. God is at work in us – in His work – We
are to grow in greater perfection in God –
We are to obey God's plan and not oppose
His Plan which makes conflict in our
                soul.

How do we work in a soul hewn with
conflict with God's Plan – A person can keep
justifying to themselves how they are right –
can live their whole life dedicated to their
own "rightness" - what a lost cause –
We are pilgrims on a journey – our
director is God. We are preparing for eternal
happiness – that is why God created us –
to be eternally happy with Him in heaven –
                He is the director –
We have our eyes on God –
We pray to the Holy Spirit to see through His eyes –
To work under His Plan –

                Jesus said:

I am the way, the truth and the life –

Jesus gave Fr. Carter this message.

Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

    1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
    2. For the Pope.
    3. For all bishops of the world.
    4. For all priests.
    5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
    6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
    7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
    8. For all members of the human family.
    9. For all souls in purgatory.

end of Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart message

                R. We are to love God with our whole heart,
our whole soul and our whole being
and love our neighbor as ourselves –
We must have an intense desire to
live in love under the Father's will –
We want what God's will is –
That is our measuring stick –
We adore God – we love Him so
                    very much –
Jesus loved His Father this way –

We follow the way of Jesus –

We live in the truth –

We live – we are not stuck in a
                    dark, cold hall of control
                    and manipulation where finally
                    we trust no one –
                    we don't give at all
and we can become bitter as
                    the darkness grows darker
and the coldness is a self
                    enclosed hallway of controlling
and manipulation to keep others out –

                Hell is total isolation
Hell is never having God for all eternity –

                God is love –
To be close to God and heaven –
                We must love –

God has given us this devotion to the Sacred Heart
                    and Immaculate Heart –
where we make Jesus the King and Center
                        of our Hearts –

God has commissioned us to spread these
prayer chapters to the ends of
                    the earth –

The Holy Spirit works in the Heart of Mary –
molding us more and more in the image
                    of God –

From the Priestly Newsletter Book III by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.

The Holy Spirit And Mary

The late Archbishop Luis M. Martinez of Mexico strikingly speaks of the ongoing cooperation of Mary with the Holy Spirit regarding the reproduction of Jesus within us: "Christian life is the reproduction of Jesus in souls…

"Now, how will this mystical reproduction be brought about in souls? In the same way in which Jesus was brought into the world, for God gives a wonderful mark of unity to all His works. Divine acts have a wealth of variety because they are the work of omnipotence; nevertheless, a most perfect unity always shines forth from them because they are the fruit of wisdom; and this divine contrast of unity and variety stamps the works of God with sublime and unutterable beauty.

"In His miraculous birth, Jesus was the fruit of heaven and earth…The Holy Spirit conveyed the divine fruitfulness of the Father to Mary, and the virginal soil brought forth in an ineffable manner our most loving Savior, the divine Seed, as the prophets called Him…

"That is the way He is reproduced in souls. He is always the fruit of heaven and earth.

"Two artisans must concur in the work that is at once God’s masterpiece and humanity’s supreme product: the Holy Spirit and the most holy Virgin Mary. Two sanctifiers are necessary to souls, the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, for they are the only ones who can reproduce Christ.

"Undoubtedly, the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary sanctify us in different ways. The first is the Sanctifier by essence; because He is God, who is infinite sanctity; because He is the personal Love that completes, so to speak, the sanctity of God, consummating His life and His unity, and it belongs to Him to communicate to souls the mystery of that sanctity. The Virgin Mary, for her part, is the co-operator, the indispensable instrument in and by God’s design. From Mary’s maternal relation to the human body of Christ is derived her relation to His Mystical Body which is being formed through all the centuries until the end of time, when it will be lifted up to the heavens, beautiful, splendid, complete, and glorious.

"These two, then, the Holy Spirit and Mary, are the indispensable artificers of Jesus, the indispensable sanctifiers of souls. Any saint in heaven can co-operate in the sanctification of a soul, but his co-operation is not necessary, not profound, not constant: while the co-operation of these two artisans of Jesus of whom we have just been speaking is so necessary that without it souls are not sanctified (and this by the actual design of Providence), and so intimate that it reaches to the very depths of our soul. For the Holy Spirit pours charity into our heart, makes a habitation of our soul, and directs our spiritual life by means of His gifts. The Virgin Mary has the efficacious influence of Mediatrix in the most profound and delicate operations of grace in our souls. And, finally, the action of the Holy Spirit and the co-operation of the most holy Virgin Mary are constant; without them, not one single character of Jesus would be traced on our souls, no virtue grow, no gift be developed, no grace increased, no bond of union with God be strengthened in the rich flowering of the spiritual life. mm

"Such is the place that the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary have in the order of sanctification. Therefore, Christian piety should put these two artisans of Christ in their true place, making devotion to them something necessary, profound, and constant." 18

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $15

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $15

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $15

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $15

Audio CD - Read by Father Edward J. Carter
$ 10.00

Priestly Newsletter — 2000 #1 — CD.Christ is Our Strength — Fr. Edward Carter, S.J. read it the year he died. It is so beautiful. "This brief passage contains one of the greatest lessons of the spiritual life. As we progress along our spiritual journey, we become increasingly aware of how weak we are in our—selves, but how strong we are in Christ. To experience our weakness involves suffering. The degree and kind of suffering can vary. The suffering can include the experience of the classical dark night of the spirit as described by St. John of the Cross. One of the main purposes of the dark night is to make a person keenly aware of his or her helplessness without God." quote by Fr. Carter from the newsletter $10
